Now some backup scriptures:

of Adam.

were nine hundred sixty and two years: and he died.[

understand what shall befall thy people in the
latter days: for yet the vision
is for many days.

Sheba, and Dedan
Gen.25[
1] Then again
Abraham took a wife, and her name was Keturah
.[2]
And she bare him Zimran, and
Jokshan, and Medan, and Midian,
and Ishbak, and Shuah.[3
] And Jokshan
begat Sheba, and Dedan
. And the sons of Dedan were Asshurim, and Letushim, and Leummim.[
4] And the sons of Midian; Ephah,
and Epher, and Hanoch, and Abida, and Eldaah. All these were the children of
Keturah.
Ezek.38[
13] Sheba,
and Dedan, and the merchants of Tarshish, with all
the young lions thereof, shall say unto thee, Art thou come to take a spoil?
hast thou gathered thy company to take a prey? to carry away silver and gold,
to take away cattle and goods, to take a great spoil?
--------------
Gen.10[1
] Now these are the generations of
the sons of Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth
: and unto them were sons born after the flood.
Gen.11[1
] And the whole earth was of one language, and of one
speech.[2] And it came to pass,
as they journeyed from the east, that they found a plain in the land of Shinar;
and they dwelt there.[3] And
they said one to another, Go to, let us make brick, and burn them throughly.
And they had brick for stone, and slime had they for morter.[
4] And they said, Go to, let us build
us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us
a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth.[
5] And the LORD came down to
see the city and the tower, which the children of men builded.[
6] And the LORD said, Behold, the people
is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now
nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do.

Ishmael
[15] And Hagar bare Abram a son: and Abram called his son's
name, which Hagar bare, Ishmael. [
16] And Abram was fourscore and six
years old, when Hagar bare Ishm
ael to Abram.
Gen.17[
18] And Abraham said unto God,
O that Ishmael might live before thee!
[20] And as for Ishmael, I have heard thee: Behold, I have
blessed him, and will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly;
twelve princes
shall he beget, and I will make him a great nation.
[23] And Abraham
took Ishmael his son, and all
that were born in his house, and all that were bought with his money, every
male among the men of Abraham's house; and circumcised the flesh of their foreskin
in the selfsame day, as God had said unto him.
[25] And
Ishmael his son was thirteen
years old, when he was circumcised in the flesh of
his foreskin. [26] In the selfsame
day was Abraham circumcised, and Ishm
ael his son.
Gen.25[1
] Then again Abraham
--------
[20] And
Isaac was
forty years old when he took Rebekah
to wife,
the daughter of Bethuel the Syrian of Padan-aram, the sister
to Laban the Syrian.[21
] And Isaac intreated the LORD for his wife, because she
was barren: and the LORD was intreated of him, and Rebekah his wife conceived.
Gen.28[
9] Then went
Esau unto Ishmael, and took unto the wives which he had Mahalath
the daughter of Ishmael Abraham's son, the sister of Nebajoth, to be his wife.
Gen.36[
1] Now
these are the generations of Esau, who is Edom.[
2] Esau took his wives of the
daughters of Canaan; Adah the daughter of Elon the Hittite, and Aholibamah
the daughter of Anah the daughter of Zibeon the Hivite;[
3] And Bashemath Ishmael's daughter,
sister of Nebajoth.[4] And Adah
bare to Esau Eliphaz; and Bashemath bare Reuel;[5
] And Aholibamah bare Jeush, and Jaalam, and Korah:
these are the sons of Esau, which were born unto him in the land of Canaan.[
6] And Esau took his wives,
and his sons, and his daughters, and all the persons of his house, and his
cattle, and all his beasts, and all his substance, which he had got in the
land of Canaan; and went into the country from the face of his brother Jacob.[
7] For their riches were more
than that they might dwell together; and the land wherein they were strangers
could not bear them because of their cattle.[8
] Thus dwelt Esau in mount Seir: Esau is Edom.
Below are just 2 popular thoughts, speculation,
where these countries are today. No one knows exactly. Safe to say near these
locations. Seems like mostly
Islamic nations
today.
Gog: is the "prince/ruler of
Magog, Rosh, Tubal, Meshech"
Magog: is the "land of Gog".
Mountainous region between Cappadocia and Media. Directly north if Israel on
the "neck" of what is presently the middle of Turkey.
Rosh: "Rosh" Many scholars
assume it refers to Russia.
Meshech: "descendants of Mesech
often mentioned in connection with Tubal, Magog, and other northern nations
including the Moschi, a people on the borders of Colchis and Armenia."
Today, of course, we know Armenia is in that area between the Caspian and Black
Seas. Many scholars have associated "Moschi" with current "Moscow"
and the Muscovy/Muscovites
Tubal: region in east Asia Minor,
which would be like current eastern Turkey.
Persia: the Persian Empire included
everything from India, to Egypt, to Thrace (west side of the Black Sea), parts
of Europe, Africa, everything around the Black & Caspian Seas, Arabian
desert, Persian Gulf.
Ethiopia: I would think, same as
today
Libya: see definition for Ethiopia
Gomer: western Turkey, or "Cimmerians
and other branches of the Celtic family" - could be Europe,"Germany"
and "France" - the Celts ended up in the UK regions.
Togarmah: by Russia ?
Sheba: southern Arabia ?
Dedan: place in south Arabia ?
Tarshish: "site unknown but
perhaps in Cyprus or Spain" Ps. 72:10 speaks of "Tarshsish and of
the isles". While Tarshish is mentioned a few times in TaNaKh, it is never
pinpointed, and seems to have been some place 'far away' from Israel. Enough
so that Jonah was going to run away from the Lord by going there.

Persia
2Chr.36[

[22] Now in
the first year of Cyrus king of Persia

be accomplished, the LORD stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of
Persia, that he made a proclamation

23] Thus saith Cyrus king of
Persia, All the kingdoms of

him an house in Jerusalem, which is in Judah. Who is there among you of all
his people? The LORD his God be with him, and let him go up.
Ezra.1[
1] Now in the first year of
Cyrus king of Persia, that the
word of the LORD by the mouth of Jeremiah might be fulfilled, the LORD stirred
up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia

Persia hath commanded us.

counsellers against them, to frustrate their purpose, all the days of Cyrus

shall the ladies of Persia and

decree, and sign the writing, that it be not changed, according to the law
of the Medes and Persians, which
altereth not.
[12] Then they
came near, and spake before the king concerning the king's decree; Hast thou
not signed a decree, that every man that shall ask a petition of any God or
man within thirty days, save of thee, O king, shall be cast into the den of
lions? The king answered and said, The thing is true, according to the law
of the Medes and Persians, which
altereth not.
[15] Then these
men assembled unto the king, and said unto the king, Know, O king, that the
law of the Medes and Persians
is, That no decree nor statute which the king establisheth may be changed.
[28] So this
Daniel prospered in the reign of Darius, and in the reign of Cyrus the
Persian.

Dan.10[
1] In the third year of Cyrus
king of Persia a thing was revealed
unto Daniel, whose name was called Belteshazzar; and the thing was true, but
the time appointed was long: and he understood the thing, and had understanding
of the vision.
[13] But the
prince of the kingdom of Persia
withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the
chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of
Persia.
[20] Then said
he, Knowest thou wherefore I come unto thee? and now will I return to fight
with the prince of Persia: and
when I am gone forth, lo, the prince of Grecia shall come.
Dan.11[
2] And now will I shew thee
the truth. Behold, there shall stand up yet three kings in
Persia; and the fourth shall be far
richer than they all: and by his strength through his riches he shall stir
up all against the realm of Grecia.

2Chr.20[
36] And he joined himself with
him to make ships to go to Tarshish
: and they made the ships in Ezion-geber. [
37] Then Eliezer the son of Dodavah

thyself with Ahaziah, the LORD hath broken thy works. And the ships were broken,
that they were not able to go to Tarshish
.

is laid waste, so that there is no house, no entering in: from the land of
Chittim it is revealed to them.
[6] Pass ye
over to Tarshish; howl, ye inhabitants
of the isle.
[10] Pass through
thy land as a river, O daughter of Tarshish
: there is no more strength.
[14] Howl, ye
ships of Tarshish: for your
strength is laid waste.
Isa.60[
9] Surely the isles shall wait

my fame, neither have seen my glory; and they shall declare my glory among
the Gentiles.
Jer.10[

of the seas.
Ezek.38[

and went down into it, to go with them unto Tarshish
from the presence of the LORD.
Jonah.4[
2] And he prayed unto the LORD,
and said, I pray thee, O LORD, was not this my saying, when I was yet in my
country? Therefore I fled before unto Tarshish
: for I knew that thou art a gracious God, and merciful,
slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repentest thee of the evil.
Greece, also of a place in Arabia
[2] The
sons of Japheth;
Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Javan, and
Tubal, and Meshech, and Tiras.
[5] By these were the isles of the Gentiles
divided in their lands; every one after his tongue, after their families, in
their nations.[6
] And the sons of Ham;
Cush
(
Ethiopia )
, and
Mizraim (
Egypt ) , and Phut
( Libya ) , and Canaan.[
7] And the sons of Cush; Seba, and
Havilah, and Sabtah, and Raamah, and Sabtecha: and the sons of Raamah;
Sheba, and
Dedan.[8]
And Cush begat Nimrod
: he began to be a mighty one in the earth.[
9] He was a mighty hunter before
the LORD: wherefore it is said, Even as Nimrod the mighty hunter before the
LORD.
[10] And
the beginning of his kingdom was Babel
, and Erech, and Accad, and Calneh, in
the land of Shinar.[11
] Out of that land went forth Asshur,
and builded Nineveh, and the city Rehoboth, and Calah,[
12] And Resen between Nineveh
and Calah: the same is a great city.[13
] And Mizraim begat
Ludim, and Anamim, and Lehabim, and Naphtuhim,[14
] And Pathrusim, and Casluhim, (out of whom came
Philistim,
[15] And Canaan begat Sidon
his firstborn, and Heth,[16]
And the Jebusite, and the Amorite, and the Girgasite,[
17] And the Hivite, and the Arkite, and the Sinite,
[18] And the Arvadite, and the
Zemarite, and the Hamathite: and afterward were the families of the Canaanites
spread abroad.[19] And the border
of the Canaanites was from Sidon, as thou comest to Gerar, unto Gaza; as thou
goest, unto Sodom, and Gomorrah, and Admah, and Zeboim, even unto Lasha.
[20] These are the sons of Ham, after their families,
after their tongues, in their countries, and in their nations.
[21]
Unto Shem also,
the father of all the children of Eber
, the brother of Japheth the elder, even to him were children
born.[22] The children of Shem;
Elam, and Asshur, and Arphaxad, and Lud, and Aram.[23
] And the children of Aram; Uz, and Hul, and Gether,
and Mash.[24] And Arphaxad begat
Salah; and Salah begat Eber.[25
] And unto Eber were born two sons: the name of one was
Peleg; for in his days was the earth
divided; and his brother's name was Joktan.[
26] And Joktan begat Almodad,
and Sheleph, and Hazar-maveth, and Jerah,[27
] And Hadoram, and Uzal, and Diklah,[
28] And Obal, and Abimael, and Sheba,[
29] And Ophir, and Havilah,
and Jobab: all these were the sons of Joktan.[30
] And their dwelling was from Mesha, as thou goest
unto Sephar a mount of the east.[31
] These are the sons of Shem, after their families, after their
tongues, in their lands, after their nations.[32] These
are the families of the sons of Noah, after their generations, in their nations:
and by these were the nations divided
in the earth after the flood.
[7] Go to, let us go down, and
there confound their language, that they may not understand one another's speech.
[8] So the LORD scattered them abroad from thence upon
the face of all the earth: and they left off to build
the city.[9] Therefore is the name of
it called Babel; because the LORD did there confound the language of all the
earth: and from thence did the LORD scatter them abroad upon the face of all
the earth.[10] These are the
generations of Shem:
Shem was an hundred years old, and begat Arphaxad two
years after the flood:[11
] And Shem lived after he begat Arphaxad five hundred
years, and begat sons and daughters.[12
] And Arphaxad lived five and thirty years, and begat Salah:[
13] And Arphaxad lived after
he begat Salah four hundred and three years, and begat sons and daughters.
[14] And Salah lived thirty
years, and begat Eber:[15] And
Salah lived after he begat Eber four hundred and three years, and begat sons
and daughters.
[16] And Eber lived four and
thirty years, and begat Peleg:[17
] And Eber lived after he begat Peleg four hundred and thirty
years, and begat sons and daughters.
[18] And Peleg lived thirty
years, and begat Reu:[19] And
Peleg lived after he begat Reu two hundred and nine years, and begat sons and
daughters.[20] And Reu lived
two and thirty years, and begat Serug:[21
] And Reu lived after he begat Serug two hundred and seven
years, and begat sons and daughters.[22
] And Serug lived thirty years, and begat Nahor:[
23] And Serug lived after he begat
Nahor two hundred years, and begat sons and daughters.[
24] And Nahor lived nine and twenty
years, and begat Terah:[25]
And Nahor lived after he begat Terah an hundred and nineteen years, and begat
sons and daughters.[26] And
Terah lived seventy years, and begat Abram, Nahor, and Haran.[
27] Now these are the generations of
Terah: Terah
begat Abram, Nahor, and Haran; and Haran begat Lot.
[28]
And Haran died before his father Terah in the land of his nativity, in Ur of
the Chaldees.[29] And Abram
and Nahor took them wives: the name of Abram's wife was Sarai; and the name
of Nahor's wife, Milcah, the daughter of Haran, the father of Milcah, and the
father of Iscah.[30] But Sarai
was barren; she had no child.[31
] And Terah took Abram his son, and Lot the son of Haran his son's
son, and Sarai his daughter in law, his son Abram's wife; and they went forth
with them from Ur of the Chaldees, to go into the land of Canaan; and they
came unto Haran, and dwelt there.[32
] And the days of Terah were two hundred and five years: and Terah
died in Haran.
[9] And
his sons Isaac and Ishmael buried him
in the cave of Machpelah, in the field of Ephron the son of Zohar the Hittite,
which is before Mamre;
[10] The field which Abraham
purchased of the sons of Heth: there was Abraham buried, and Sarah his wife.[
11] And it came to pass after
the death of Abraham, that God blessed his son Isaac; and Isaac dwelt by the
well Lahai-roi.[12]
Now these are the generations of
Ishmael, Abraham's son, whom Hagar the Egyptian,
Sarah's handmaid, bare unto Abraham:
[22] And the children struggled
together within her; and she said, If it be so, why am I thus? And she went
to inquire of the LORD.[23]
And the LORD said unto her, Two nations
are in thy womb, and two manner of people shall be separated
from thy bowels; and the one people shall
be stronger than the other people; and the elder shall serve the younger.
[24]
And when her days to be delivered were fulfilled, behold, there were
twins in her womb.[
25] And the first came out red, all
over like an hairy garment; and they called his name
Esau.[
26] And after that came his brother
out, and his hand took hold on Esau's heel; and his name was called
Jacob: and Isaac
was threescore years old when she bare them.[27
] And the boys grew: and Esau was a cunning hunter, a man
of the field; and Jacob was a plain man, dwelling in tents.
[9] And these are the generations
of Esau the father of the Edomites in mount Seir:[10
] These are the names of Esau's sons; Eliphaz the son
of Adah the wife of Esau, Reuel the son of Bashemath the wife of Esau.
