REMEMBER, I told
you for "7" weeks now:
"TWO" Sabbaths in a row.
The weekly Sabbath
yesterday and today, (Sivan 11), Sunday, June 15th is a Sabbath, a holy convocation
-------------
Lev.23 [15] And ye shall count unto you from the
morrow after the sabbath, from the day that ye
brought the sheaf of the wave offering; seven sabbaths
shall be complete: [16] Even unto the morrow after the seventh sabbath shall ye number fifty days; and ye shall offer a
new meat offering unto the LORD.
--
Exod. 34 [22] And thou sh alt observe the feast of weeks, of the firstfruits
of wheat harvest,
Deut. 16 [9] Seven weeks shalt thou number unto thee: begin to number the seven
weeks from such time as thou beginnest to put the
sickle to the corn. (wheat)
[10] And thou shalt
keep the feast of weeks unto the LORD thy God with a tribute of a freewill offering of thine hand, which thou shalt give unto
the LORD thy God, according as the LORD thy God hath blessed thee:
[11] And thou shalt rejoice before
the LORD thy God, thou, and thy son, and thy daughter, and thy manservant, and
thy maidservant, and the Levite that is within thy gates, and the stranger, and
the fatherless, and the widow, that are among you, in the place which the LORD
thy God hath chosen to place his name there.
[12] And thou shalt remember that thou wast a
bondman in Egypt: and thou shalt observe and do these
statutes.
2 Chr. 8 [12] Then
Solomon offered burnt offerings unto the LORD on the altar of the LORD, which
he had built before the porch,
[13] Even after a certain rate every
day, offering according to the commandment of
Moses, on the sabbaths, and on the new moons,
and on the solemn feasts, three times in the year, even in the feast of
unleavened bread, and in the feast of weeks,
and in the feast of tabernacles.

The
feast of weeks, Pentecost still kept after the Lord rose
Acts 2 [1] And when the day of
Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one
place.
Acts
20 [16] For Paul had determined to sail by Ephesus,
because he would not spend the time in Asia: for he
hasted, if it were possible for him, to be at Jerusalem the day of Pentecost.
1Cor. 16 [8] But I
will tarry at Ephesus until Pentecost.

Sad, our calendar only says FATHER'S DAY (made up in the early 1900's) - Sun. not the feast of

"3rd" month – Sivan
And
The
promise of my Father, the baptism of the Holy Spirit
[44] And he said unto them, These are the words
which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you,
that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and
in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me.
[45] Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the
scriptures,
[46] And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the
third day:
[47] And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his
name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.
[48] And ye are witnesses of these things.
[49] And, behold, I send the promise of my Father
upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power
from on high.
[50] And he led them out as far as to Bethany, and he lifted
up his hands, and blessed them.
[51] And it came to pass, while he blessed them, he was parted from
them, and carried up into heaven.
[52] And they worshipped him, and returned to Jerusalem with great joy:
[53] And were continually in the temple, praising and blessing God.
Amen.

two tenth deals: they shall be of fine flour; they shall be baken

The
Comforter, the Spirit of truth and Yeshua are One
he that hath seen me,
Yeshua hath seen the Father
"All
are One"
Thou shalt rejoice!
John 14
[1] Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in
God, believe also in me.
[2] In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would
have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
[3] And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and
receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
[4] And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.
[5] Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not
whither thou goest; and how can we know the way?
[6] Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the
truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
[7] If ye had known me, ye
should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.
[8] Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth
us.
[9] Yeshua - Jesus saith
unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast
thou not known me, Philip? he
that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest
thou then, Shew us the Father?
[10] Believest thou not that I
am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that
I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth
in me, he doeth the works.
[11] Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else
believe me for the very works' sake.
[12] Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works
that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I
go unto my Father.
[13] And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the
Father may be glorified in the Son.
[14] If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.
[15] If ye love me, keep my commandments.
[16] And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
[17] Even the Spirit of truth;
whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him
not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
[18] I will not leave you comfortless: I will come
to you.
[19] Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall
live also.
[20] At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and
I in you.
[21] He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth
me: and he that loveth me shall be loved
of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.[22] Judas saith unto him,
not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not
unto the world?
[23] Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love
me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto
him, and make our abode with him.
[24] He that loveth
me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye
hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.
[25] These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you.
[26] But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost,
whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring
all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
[27] Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as
the world giveth, give I
unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
[28] Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go
away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice,
because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is
greater than I.
[29] And now I have told you before it come to pass, that, when it
is come to pass, ye might believe.
[30] Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this
world cometh, and hath nothing in me.
[31] But that the world may know that I love
the Father; and as the Father gave me commandment, even so I do.
Arise, let us go hence.
Thou shalt rejoice!
John 15
[1] I am the true vine, and my Father is the
husbandman.
[2] Every branch in me that beareth not fruit
he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it,
that it may bring forth more fruit.
[3] Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.
[4] Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of
itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.
[5] I am the vine, ye are the branches:
He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do
nothing.
[6] If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth
as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire,
and they are burned.
[7] If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye
will, and it shall be done unto you.
[8] Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye
be my disciples.
[9] As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my
love.
[10] If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in
my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.
[11] These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might
remain in you, and that your joy might be full.
[12] This is my commandment, That
ye love one another, as I have loved you.
[13] Greater love hath no man than this, that a man
lay down his life for his friends.
[14] Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.
[15] Henceforth I call
you not servants; for the servant knoweth
not what his lord doeth: but I have called you
friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made
known unto you.
[16] Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you,
and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your
fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he
may give it you.
[17] These things I command you, that ye love
one another.
[18] If the world hate
you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.
[19] If ye were of the world, the world would love his
own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of
the world, therefore the world hateth you.
[20] Remember the word that I said unto you,
The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will
also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.
[21] But all these things will they do unto you for my name's sake,
because they know not him that sent me.
[22] If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin: but
now they have no cloke for their sin.
[23] He that hateth me hateth
my Father also.
[24] If I had not done among them the works which none other man did,
they had not had sin: but now have they both seen and hated both me and my
Father.
[25] But this cometh to pass, that the word might be fulfilled that is
written in their law, They hated me without a cause.
[26] But when the Comforter is come, whom I will
send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:
[27] And ye also shall bear witness, because ye have been with me from
the beginning.
Thou shalt rejoice!
John 16
[1] These things have I spoken unto you, that ye
should not be offended.
[2] They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that
whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God
service.
[3] And these things will they do unto you, because they have not known
the Father, nor me.
[4] But these things have I told you, that when the time shall come, ye
may remember that I told you of them. And these things I said not unto you at
the beginning, because I was with you.
[5] But now I go my way to him that sent me; and none of you asketh me, Whither goest thou?
[6] But because I have said these things unto you, sorrow hath filled
your heart.
[7] Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not
away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him
unto you.
[8] And when he is come, he will reprove the world
of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:
[9] Of sin, because they believe not on me;
[10] Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more;
[11] Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.
[12] I have yet many things to say unto you, but
ye cannot bear them now.
[13] Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is
come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but
whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew
you things to come.
[14] He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.
[15] All things that the Father
hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of
mine, and shall shew it unto you.
[16] A little while, and ye shall not see me: and
again, a little while, and ye shall see me, because I go to the Father.
[17] Then said some of his disciples among
themselves, What is this that he saith unto us, A
little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little while, and ye shall
see me: and, Because I go to the Father?
[18] They said therefore, What is this that he saith, A little while? we cannot
tell what he saith.
[19] Now Jesus knew that they were desirous to ask him, and said unto
them, Do ye inquire among yourselves of that I said, A
little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little while, and ye shall
see me?
[20] Verily, verily, I say unto you, That ye
shall weep and lament, but the world shall rejoice: and ye shall be sorrowful,
but your sorrow shall be turned into joy.
[21] A woman when she is in travail hath sorrow, because her hour is
come: but as soon as she is delivered of the child, she remembereth
no more the anguish, for joy that a man is born into the world.
[22] And ye now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again, and
your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man taketh
from you.
[23] And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto
you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he
will give it you.
[24] Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall
receive, that your joy may be full.
[25] These things have I spoken unto you in proverbs: but the time
cometh, when I shall no more speak unto you in proverbs, but I shall shew you plainly of the Father.
[26] At that day ye shall ask in my name: and I say not unto you, that I
will pray the Father for you:
[27] For the Father himself loveth you,
because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God.
[28] I came forth from the Father, and am come into the world: again, I
leave the world, and go to the Father.
[29] His disciples said unto him, Lo, now speakest
thou plainly, and speakest no proverb.
[30] Now are we sure that thou knowest all
things, and needest not that any man should ask thee:
by this we believe that thou camest forth from God.
[31] Jesus answered them, Do ye now believe?
[32] Behold, the hour cometh, yea, is now come, that ye shall be
scattered, every man to his own, and shall leave me alone: and yet I am not
alone, because the Father is with me.
[33] These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have
peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have
overcome the world.
Thou shalt rejoice!
John 17
[1] These words spake
Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come;
glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee:
[2] As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give
eternal life to as many as thou hast given him.
[3] And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true
God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.
[4] I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which
thou gavest me to do.
[5] And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before
the world was. ( Yeshua - the Word is from everlasting )
[6] I have manifested thy name unto the men which
thou gavest me out of the world: thine
they were, and thou gavest them me; and they have
kept thy word.
[7] Now they have known that all things whatsoever thou hast given me
are of thee.
[8] For I have given unto them the words which thou gavest me; and they have received them, and have known
surely that I came out from thee, and they have believed that thou didst send
me.
[9] I pray for them: I pray not for the world,
but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine.
[10] And all mine are thine, and thine are mine; and I am
glorified in them.
[11] And now I am no more in the world, but
these are in the world, and I come to thee.
Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom
thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are.
[12] While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those
that thou gavest me I have kept,
and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be
fulfilled.
[13] And now come I to thee; and these things I speak in the
world, that they might have my joy fulfilled in themselves.
[14] I have given them thy word; and the
world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of
the world.
[15] I pray not that thou shouldest take
them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep
them from the evil.
[16] They are not of the world, even as I am not of
the world.
[17] Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.
[18] As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I
also sent them into the world.
[19] And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that
they also might be sanctified through the truth.
[20] Neither pray I for these alone, but for
them also which shall believe on me through their word; ( all
of Us )
[21] That they all may
be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and
I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may
believe that thou hast sent me.
[22] And the glory which thou gavest
me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we
are one:
[23] I in them, and thou in me,
that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that
thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.
[24] Father, I will that they also, whom thou
hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou
hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the
foundation of the world. ( Yeshua - the Word is from everlasting )
[25] O righteous Father, the world hath not known thee: but I have known
thee, and these have known that thou hast sent me.
[26] And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love
wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them.

Thou shalt rejoice!
Jews receive the Holy Spirit
Acts 2
[1] And when the day of Pentecost was fully
come, they were all with one accord in one place.
[2] And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind,
and it filled all the house where they were sitting.
[3] And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat
upon each of them.
[4] And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other
tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
[5] And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven.
[6] Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude
came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in
his own language.
[7] And they were all amazed and marvelled,
saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which
speak Galilaeans?
[8] And how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born?
[9] Parthians, and Medes, and Elamites, and the dwellers in Mesopotamia, and in Judaea,
and Cappadocia, in Pontus, and Asia,
[10] Phrygia, and Pamphylia, in Egypt, and in
the parts of Libya about Cyrene, and strangers of Rome, Jews and proselytes,
[11] Cretes and Arabians, we do hear them
speak in our tongues the wonderful works of God.
[12] And they were all amazed, and were in doubt, saying one to another,
What meaneth this?
[13] Others mocking said, These men are full of
new wine.
[14] But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and
said unto them, Ye men of Judaea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this
known unto you, and hearken to my words:
[15] For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is but the
third hour of the day.
[16] But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel;
[17] And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith
God,I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and
your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see
visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:
[18] And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those
days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:
[19] And I will shew wonders in heaven above,
and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour
of smoke:
[20] The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood,
before that great and notable day of the Lord come:
[21] And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of
the Lord shall be saved.
[22] Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man
approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by
him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know:
[23] Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge
of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain:
[24] Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because
it was not possible that he should be holden of it.
[25] For David speaketh concerning him, I
foresaw the Lord always before my face, for he is on my right hand, that I
should not be moved:
[26] Therefore did my heart rejoice, and my tongue was glad; moreover
also my flesh shall rest in hope:
[27] Because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell, neither wilt thou
suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.
[28] Thou hast made known to me the ways of life; thou shalt make me full of joy with thy countenance.
[29] Men and brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulchre is with us unto this day.
[30] Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an
oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would
raise up Christ to sit on his throne;
[31] He seeing this before spake of the
resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh
did see corruption.
[32] This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we
all are witnesses.
[33] Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having
received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this,
which ye now see and hear.
[34] For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he saith himself, The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my
right hand,
[35] Until I make thy foes thy footstool.
[36] Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath
made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.
[37] Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and
said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall
we do?
[38] Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you
in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the
gift of the Holy Ghost.
[39] For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that
are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.
[40] And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.
[41] Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same
day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.
[42] And they continued stedfastly in the
apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.
[43] And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done
by the apostles.
[44] And all that believed were together, and had all things common;
[45] And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men,
as every man had need.
[46] And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and
breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and
singleness of heart,
[47] Praising God, and having favour with all
the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.
Thou shalt rejoice!
Gentiles receive the Holy Spirit
Acts 10
[1] There was a certain man in Caesarea called
Cornelius, a centurion of the band called the Italian band,
[2] A devout man, and one that feared God with all his house, which gave
much alms to the people, and prayed to God alway.
[3] He saw in a vision evidently about the ninth hour of the day an
angel of God coming in to him, and saying unto him, Cornelius.
[4] And when he looked on him, he was afraid, and said, What is it, Lord? And he said unto him, Thy prayers and thine alms are come up for a memorial before God.
[5] And now send men to Joppa, and call for one Simon, whose surname is
Peter:
[6] He lodgeth with one Simon a tanner, whose
house is by the sea side: he shall tell thee what thou oughtest
to do.
[7] And when the angel which spake unto
Cornelius was departed, he called two of his household servants, and a devout
soldier of them that waited on him continually;
[8] And when he had declared all these things unto them, he sent them to
Joppa.
[9] On the morrow, as they went on their journey, and drew nigh unto the
city, Peter went up upon the housetop to pray about the sixth hour:
[10] And he became very hungry, and would have eaten: but while they
made ready, he fell into a trance,
[11] And saw heaven opened, and a certain vessel descending unto him, as
it had been a great sheet knit at the four corners, and let down to the earth:
[12] Wherein were all manner of fourfooted
beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, and creeping things, and fowls of the
air.
[13] And there came a voice to him, Rise, Peter; kill, and eat.
[14] But Peter said, Not so, Lord; for I have
never eaten any thing that is common or unclean.
[15] And the voice spake unto him again the
second time, What God hath cleansed, that call not
thou common.
[16] This was done thrice: and the vessel was received up again into
heaven.
[17] Now while Peter doubted in himself what this vision which he had
seen should mean, behold, the men which were sent from Cornelius had made
inquiry for Simon's house, and stood before the gate,
[18] And called, and asked whether Simon, which was surnamed Peter, were
lodged there.
[19] While Peter thought on the vision, the Spirit said unto him, Behold,
three men seek thee.
[20] Arise therefore, and get thee down, and go with them, doubting
nothing: for I have sent them.
[21] Then Peter went down to the men which were
sent unto him from Cornelius; and said, Behold, I am he whom ye seek: what is
the cause wherefore ye are come?
[22] And they said, Cornelius the centurion, a just man, and one that feareth God, and of good report among all the nation of the
Jews, was warned from God by an holy angel to send for
thee into his house, and to hear words of thee.
[23] Then called he them in, and lodged them. And on the morrow Peter
went away with them, and certain brethren from Joppa accompanied him.
[24] And the morrow after they entered into Caesarea. And Cornelius
waited for them, and had called together his kinsmen and near friends.
[25] And as Peter was coming in, Cornelius met him, and fell down at his
feet, and worshipped him.
[26] But Peter took him up, saying, Stand up; I myself also am a man.
[27] And as he talked with him, he went in, and found many that were
come together.
[28] And he said unto them, Ye know how that it
is an unlawful thing for a man that is a Jew to keep company, or come unto one
of another nation; but God hath shewed me that I
should not call any man common or unclean.
[29] Therefore came I unto you without
gainsaying, as soon as I was sent for: I ask therefore for what intent ye have
sent for me?
[30] And Cornelius said, Four days ago I was fasting until this hour;
and at the ninth hour I prayed in my house, and, behold, a man stood before me
in bright clothing,
[31] And said, Cornelius, thy prayer is heard, and thine
alms are had in remembrance in the sight of God.
[32] Send therefore to Joppa, and call hither Simon, whose surname is
Peter; he is lodged in the house of one Simon a tanner by the sea side: who,
when he cometh, shall speak unto thee.
[33] Immediately therefore I sent to thee; and thou hast well done that
thou art come. Now therefore are we all here present before God, to hear all
things that are commanded thee of God.
[34] Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that
God is no respecter of persons:
[35] But in every nation he that feareth him,
and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him.
[36] The word which God sent unto the children of Israel, preaching
peace by Jesus Christ: (he is Lord of all:)
[37] That word, I say, ye know, which was published throughout all
Judaea, and began from Galilee, after the baptism which John preached;
[38] How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with
power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the
devil; for God was with him.
[39] And we are witnesses of all things which he did both in the land of
the Jews, and in Jerusalem; whom they slew and hanged on a tree:
[40] Him God raised up the third day, and shewed
him openly;
[41] Not to all the people, but unto witnesses chosen before of God,
even to us, who did eat and drink with him after he rose from the dead.
[42] And he commanded us to preach unto the people, and to testify that
it is he which was ordained of God to be the Judge of quick and dead.
[43] To him give all the prophets witness, that
through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.
[44] While Peter yet spake
these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word.
[45] And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as
came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the
Holy Ghost.
[46] For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God. Then answered
Peter,
[47] Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have
received the Holy Ghost as well as we?
[48] And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord.
Then prayed they him to tarry certain days.
