Today we use the Gregorian calendar (From Pope Gregory, from the
1500's)
Today is March 8, 2025
March - Mars' month
Middle English March
Latin Martius "of Mars"
Latin Martius mensis "month of Mars"
Martius has always had 31 days.
March was the original beginning of the year,
and
the time for the resumption of war.
Mars is the Roman god of war. He is identified with the Greek god Ares.
Yehovah has
His own calendar: We are now in the 12th month, Adar, day 7
Adar = "glorious"
1) Twelfth month,
corresponding to modern March or April
The second Temple
Ezra.6 [14] And the elders of the Jews builded
and they prospered through the prophesying of Haggai the prophet and Zechariah
the son of Iddo.
And they builded, and
finished it, according to the commandment of the God of Israel,
and according to the
commandment of Cyrus, and Darius, and Artaxerxes king of Persia.
[15] And this
house was finished on the third day of the
month Adar, which was in the sixth year of the reign of Darius the
king.
Esth.3 [7] In the first month, that is, the
month Nisan, in the twelfth year of king Ahasuerus, they cast Pur, that is, the
lot, before Haman from day to day, and from month to month, to the
twelfth month, that is, the month Adar…

Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah.
Isa.66 [22]
For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain
before me, said Yehovah, so shall your seed and your name remain.
[23] And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and
from one Sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, said Yehovah.
[24] And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcases of the men that
have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their
fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh.
Hosea
First and last words:
Hos.1[1] The word of Yehovah that came unto Hosea, the son of Beeri, in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah, and in the days of Jeroboam the son of Joash, king of Israel.

and passes by the transgression of the
remnant of his heritage? he retains not his anger forever, because he delights
in mercy.
[19] He will turn again, he will have compassion upon us; he will subdue
our iniquities; and you wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea.
[20] You will perform the truth to Jacob, and the mercy to Abraham,
which you have sworn unto our fathers from the days of old.

all her lovers she had none to comfort her: all her friends have dealt
treacherously with her, they are become her enemies.
[3] Judah is gone into captivity because of affliction, and because of great
servitude: she dwells among the heathen, she findeth no rest: all her persecutors
overtook her between the straits.
Lam.5 [19] You, O Yehovah remains forever; your throne from
generation to generation.
[20] Wherefore do you forget us forever, and forsake us so long time?

[22] But you have utterly rejected us; you are very wroth against us
** Ezekiel

thousand and five hundred measures.
[31] And the gates of the city shall be after the names of the tribes of
Israel: three gates northward; one gate of Reuben, one gate of Judah, one gate
of Levi.
[32] And at the east side four thousand and five hundred: and three
gates; and one gate of Joseph, one gate of Benjamin, one gate of Dan.
[33] And at the south side four thousand and five hundred measures: and

[34] At the west side four thousand and five hundred, with their three

fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall
yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no
herd in the stalls:
[18] Yet I will rejoice in Yehovah, I will joy in the God of my

And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for
the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never
was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy
people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.
[9] And he said, Go your
way, Daniel: for the words are closed up
and sealed till the time of the end.
[10] Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the
wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise
shall understand.
[11] And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and
the abomination that makes desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two
hundred and ninety days.
[12] Blessed is he that waites, and comes to the thousand three hundred

that I gather you: for I will make you a name and a praise among all people of
the earth, when I turn back your captivity before
your eyes, said Yehovah.
Nineveh
Jonah
First and last words:
Jonah.1[1] Now the word of Yehovah came unto Jonah the
son of Amittai, saying,
[2] Arise, go to Nineveh,
that great city, and cry against it; for their wickedness is come up before me.
Jonah 4[11] And should not I spare Nineveh, that great city, wherein are more than six score thousand
persons that cannot discern between their right hand and their left hand; and
also much cattle?
Nahum
First and last words:
Nah.1 [1] The burden of Nineveh. The book of the vision of
Nahum the Elkoshite.
[2] God is jealous, and Yehovah revenges; Yehovah revengeth, and is
furious; Yehovah will take vengeance on his adversaries, and he reserveth wrath
for his enemies.
[3] Yehovah is slow to anger, and great in power, and will not at all
acquit the wicked: Yehovah had his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and
the clouds are the dust of his feet.
Haggai
First and last words:
Hag.1[1] In the second
year of Darius the king, in the sixth month, in the first day of the month,
came the word of Yehovah by Haggai the
prophet unto Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and to Joshua the son of Josedech, the high
priest, saying,
[2] Thus speaks Yehovah
of hosts, saying, This people say, The time is not come, the time that Yehovah's house should be
built.
Hag.2 [21] Speak to Zerubbabel, governor of Judah, saying, I
will shake the heavens and the earth;
[22] And I will overthrow the throne of kingdoms, and I will destroy the
strength of the kingdoms of the heathen; and I will overthrow the chariots, and
those that ride in them; and the horses and their riders shall come down, every
one by the sword of his brother.
[23] In that day, said Yehovah of
hosts, will I take you, O Zerubbabel, my servant, the son of Shealtiel, said
Yehovah, and will make you as a signet: for I have chosen you, said Yehovah of
hosts.
During Kings

month, in the second year of Darius,

Zech.14 [21]
Yea, every pot in Jerusalem and in
Judah shall be holiness unto Yehovah of hosts: and all they that sacrifice
shall come and take of them, and seethe therein: and in that day there shall be
no more the Canaanite in the house of Yehovah of hosts.
Malachi
First and last words:
Mal.1 [1] The burden of the word of Yehovah to Israel
by Malachi.
[2] I have loved you, said Yehovah.
Yet you say, Wherein have you loved us? Was not Esau Jacob's brother? said Yehovah:
yet I loved Jacob,
[3] And I hated Esau, and laid his mountains and his heritage waste for
the dragons of the wilderness.
Some verses with the word captivity:
Let us remember:
Lamentations 3
[21] This I recall to my mind,
therefore have I hope.
[22] It is of Yehovah’s mercies
that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.
[23] They are new every morning:
great is your faithfulness.
[24] Yehovah is my portion, said my
soul; therefore will I hope in him.
[25] Yehovah is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeks
him.
[26] It is good that a man should
both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of Yehovah.
[31] For the Lord will not cast off
for ever:
[32] But though he cause grief, yet
will he have compassion according to the multitude of his mercies.
[33] For he does not afflict willingly nor grieve the children of
men.
Inclosing for today,
May our last words be
Praise Yah, forgive us all
May God bless you all
