Yeshua
He is risen from the dead
הוּא קָם מִן־הַמֵּתִים (Matt. 28:7)
4 Gospel witnesses:
Matt.28
A mighty Angel of Yehovah
[1] In the end of the Sabbath, as it began to dawn
toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the
other Mary to see the sepulcher.
[2]
And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the
angel of Yehovah descended from heaven,
and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it.
[3] His countenance was like lightning, and his
raiment white as snow:
[4] And for fear of him the keepers did shake, and became as dead men.
[5] And the angel answered and said unto the women,
Fear not you: for I know that you seek Yeshua, which
was crucified.
[6]
He is not here: for he is risen, as
he said. Come,
see the place where the Lord lay.
[7] And go quickly, and tell his disciples that he
is risen
from the dead; and, behold, he goes before you into Galilee; there shall
you see him: lo, I have told you.
[8] And they departed quickly from the sepulcher
with fear and great joy; and did run to bring his disciples word.
[9] And as they went to tell his disciples, behold, Yeshua
met them, saying, All hail. And they came and held him by the feet, and
worshipped him.
[10] Then said Yeshua
unto them, Be not afraid: go tell my brethren that they go into Galilee,
and there shall they see me.
[18]
And Yeshua
came and spoke unto them, saying, All
power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
[19] Go
you therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father,
and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
[20] Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and,
lo, I am
with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
Mark.16
A young man
[1]
And when the Sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of
James, and Salome, had bought sweet spices, that they might come and anoint
him.
[2] And very early in the morning the first day of
the week, they came unto the sepulcher at the rising of the sun.
[5]
And entering into the sepulcher, they saw a
young man sitting on the right side, clothed
in a long white garment; and they were affrighted.
[6] And he said unto them, Be
not affrighted: You seek Yeshua of
Nazareth, which was crucified: he is risen; he is not here: behold the
place where they laid him.
[9] Now when Yeshua
was risen
early the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene,
out of whom he had cast seven devils.
[15] And he said unto them, Go you into all the
world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
[16] He that believeth and is baptized shall be
saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
[17]
And these signs shall follow them that believe;
In my name:
shall they
cast out devils;
they shall
speak with new tongues;
[18] They shall take up serpents;
and if
they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them;
they shall
lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
[19] So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was
received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.
[20]
And they went forth, and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them,
and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.
Luke 24
Two men
[1] Now upon the first day of the week, very
early in the morning, they came unto the sepulcher, bringing the spices
which they had prepared, and certain others with them.
[2]
And they found the stone rolled away from the sepulcher.
[3] And they entered in, and found not the body of
the Lord Yeshua.
[4] And it came to pass, as they were much perplexed
thereabout, behold, two men stood by them in shining garments:
[5]
And as they were afraid, and bowed down their faces to the earth, they said unto
them, Why
seek ye the living among the dead?
[6] He is not here, but is risen: remember
how he spoke unto you when he was yet in Galilee,
[7] Saying, The Son of man must be delivered into the
hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.
[8] And they remembered his words,
[44]
And he said unto them, These are the
words which I spoke unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be
fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in
the psalms, concerning me.
[45] Then opened he their understanding, that they
might understand the scriptures,
[46] And said unto them, Thus it is written,
and thus it behooved Messiah to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day:
[47] And that repentance and remission of sins should
be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.
[48]
And you are witnesses of these things.
[49]
And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry you in the
city of Jerusalem, until you be endued with power from on high.
[50]
And he led them out as far as to Bethany, and he lifted up his hands, and
blessed them.
[51] And it came to pass, while he blessed them, he
was parted from them, and carried up into heaven.
[52] And they worshipped him, and returned to
Jerusalem with great joy:
[53] And were continually in the temple, praising and
blessing God. Amen.
John 20:
Two Angels
[1] The first day of the week cometh Mary
Magdalene early, when it was yet dark, unto the sepulcher, and sees the
stone taken away from the sepulcher.
[9]
For as yet they knew not the scripture, that he must rise
again from the dead.
[11]
But Mary stood without at the sepulcher weeping: and as she wept, she stooped
down, and looked into the sepulcher,
[12]
And sees two angels in white sitting, the one at the head, and the other
at the feet, where the body of Yeshua had lain.
[13]
And they say unto her, Woman, why do you weep? She said unto them, Because
they have taken away my Lord, and I know not where they have laid him.
[14]
And when she had thus said, she turned herself back, and saw Yeshua
standing, and knew not that it was Yeshua.
[15]
Yeshua
said unto her, Woman, why do you weep? Whom do you seek? She, supposing him
to be the gardener said unto him, Sir, if you have borne him hence, tell me
where you have laid him, and I will take him away.
[16] Yeshua said
unto her, Mary. She turned herself, and said unto him, Rabboni;
which is to say, Master.
[17]
Yeshua
said unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to
my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father;
and to my God, and your God.
[19] Then the same day at evening, being the first
day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were
assembled for fear of the Jews, came Yeshua and
stood in the midst, and said unto them, Peace be
unto you.
[20]
And when he had so said, he showed unto them his hands and his side. Then were
the disciples glad, when they saw the Lord.
[21]
Then said Yeshua to them again, Peace be unto you: as
my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.
[22]
And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and said unto them, Receive
ye the Holy Ghost:
[23]
Whosoever sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them; and whosoever sins ye
retain, they are retained.
Doubting Thomas story:
[28]
And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God.
[29]
Yeshua said unto
him, Thomas, because you have seen me, you have believed: blessed are they
that have not seen, and yet have believed.
[30]
And many other signs truly did Yeshua in the
presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book:
[31] But these are written, that you might believe
that Yeshua
is the Messiah, the Son of God; and that believing you might have life through
his name.
