Shabbat Shalom שַׁבָּת שָׁלוֹם
Today is the Shabbat, God’s Time
----------------
Let’s pray
--------------------------------
Today we use the Gregorian calendar from Pope Gregory; from the 1500’s.
Today is January 25th, 2014
January -- Janus's month
Middle English Januarie
Latin Januarius "of
Janus"
Latin Janu(s) "Janus" + -arius "ary (pertaining to)"
Latin Januarius mensis "month
of Janus"
Janus is the Roman god of gates and doorways, depicted with two faces looking in opposite directions. His festival month is January.
Januarius had 29 days, until Julius when it became 31 days long.
------------------
Yehovah has His own calendar
We are now in the eleventh month, which is the month Sebat /Sh'vat day 23
Zech.1[7] Upon the four and twentieth day of the eleventh month, which is the month Sebat, in the second year of Darius, came the word of Yehovah unto Zechariah, the son of Berechiah, the son of Iddo the prophet….
Part of Jan. / Feb.

Before we
start, I just wanted to mention that in the month of December 2013, I stated
that everyone should be aware of these false feelings and emotions that will
try to get.
This is one
of the sentences that I said numerous times below, please take heed:
Beware if you get a feeling or hear a voice telling you to separate
yourself from the congregation and go off on your own and read, study or
whatever, especially if you are a novice.
A novice is one newly come to the belief in the God of Israel.
They do not have the full knowledge and understanding of God and do
not know the severity of misrepresenting him!
What will Satan use to get you offended to leave?
After having said this
numerous times, I know people that have done this very thing.
Scripture
tells us:
Remember Sabbath is a holy convocation, a holy sacred public meeting of
people of like minds in the body of Messiah, the God of Israel.
Also my last three
messages in 2014 so far have been about being “one”
in the body of Messiah not two.
Example: a husband and
wife that are married in the God of Israel, all things they have are both of
theirs as monies, cars, etc. some people just don’t get it.
--------------------------------------
Today’s Topic:
God is a nationalist not an internationalist
One nation of Israel under the one God of Israel
There are numerous verses that have the phrase “My people Israel”
1Kgs.6
[11]
And the word of Yehoveh came to Solomon, saying,
[12] Concerning this house which thou art in building, if thou wilt walk
in my statutes, and execute my judgments, and keep all my commandments to walk
in them; then will I perform my word with thee, which I spake unto David thy
father:
[13] And I will dwell among the children of
Israel, and will not forsake “my people Israel”.
Let’s define who is the real Israel of God
Rom.9
[1] I say the
truth in Messiah, I lie not, my conscience also bearing me witness in the Holy
Ghost,
[2] That I have great heaviness and continual sorrow in my heart.
[3] For I could wish that myself were accursed from Messiah for my brethren,
my kinsmen according to the flesh:
[4] Who are Israelites; to whom pertaineth the
adoption, and the glory, and the covenants, and the giving of the law, and the
service of God, and the promises;
[5] Whose are the fathers, and of whom as concerning the flesh Messiah
came, who is over all, God blessed for ever. Amen.
[6] Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect.
For they are not all Israel, which are of
Israel:[7]
Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children:
but, In Isaac
shall thy seed be called.
[8] That is, They
which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God:
but the children of
the promise are counted for the seed.
[9] For this is
the word of promise, At this time will I
come, and Sara shall have a son.
[10] And not only this; but when Rebecca also had conceived by one, even
by our father Isaac;
[11] (For the children being not yet born, neither having done any good
or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of
works, but of him that calleth;)
[12] It was said unto her, The elder shall
serve the younger.
This also
goes for the country of Israel today, 2014. They are not all of the Israel of
God that lives, reside in Israel today.
-----------------------------
As you see, God’s very selective, and only knows them that adhere to the commandments of God, and work righteousness.
The Bible,
the Scriptures are written to believers in the God of Israel, not to the
unbelievers.
Think it
over, if these people that work iniquity, and obviously are not of the God of
Israel pray, the Bible says their prayers are an abomination.
You can’t
pray for people that turn away from hearing the Torah, because their prayers
are an abomination, what do you think your prayers would be?
Think of all
the lovely people that don’t keep the Sabbath, the Commandments, their
prayers are an abomination to the God of Israel.
God don’t
know them. They don’t know God that is the God we know and serve, the God of
Israel.
You can’t
pray for people that are not of God, the most you can do is preach to them and
tell them to repent and start serving the God of Israel, and then you can pray
for them.
(Obviously
you can give them some good advice, teach them morality, and many other things.
I’m not talking about this.)
-----------------------
Yeshua always
makes a clear distinction who are his sheep, people.
Please notice
when you read this distinction, and emphasize it in your mind that God always
has “one people”.
Yeshua said:
I pray NOT for the world
John.17
[1] These words spake
Yeshua, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come;
glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee:
[2] As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal
life to as many as thou hast given him.
[3] And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and
Yeshua the Messiah, whom thou hast sent.
[4] I have glorified
thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest
me to do.
[5] And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own
self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.
[6] I have manifested
thy name unto the men which thou gavest
me out of the world:
thine they
were, and thou gavest them me; and they have kept thy
word.
[7] Now they have known that all things whatsoever
thou hast given me are of thee.
[8] For I have given unto them the words which thou gavest
me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came out from
thee, and they have believed that thou didst send me.
[9] I pray for them: I pray
not for the world, but for them which thou
hast given me; for they are thine.
[10] And all mine are thine,
and thine are mine; and I am glorified in them.
[11] And now I am no
more in the world, but these are in the world,
and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are.
[12] While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name:
those that thou gavest me I have kept,
and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be
fulfilled.
[13] And now come
I to thee; and these things I speak in the world, that they might have my joy
fulfilled in themselves.
[14] I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
[15] I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.
[16] They
are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
[17] Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.
[18] As thou hast sent
me into the world, even so have I also sent them
into the world.
[19] And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also
might be sanctified through the truth.
[20]
Neither pray
I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their
word;
[21] That they all may
be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in
us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me
[22] And the glory which
thou gavest
me I have given them; that they may be one,
even as we are one:
[23] I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the
world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved
me.
[24] Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with
me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me:
for thou lovedst me before
the foundation of the world.
[25] O righteous
Father, the world hath not known thee: but I have known thee, and these have known that thou hast sent me.
[26] And I have declared
unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast
loved me may be in them, and I in them.
Same message
in the book of Ezekiel:
-----------------------------------
John.10 – G0d’s sheep - I lay down my life for the sheep. One fold, and one shepherd.
[1]
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the
door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some
other way, the same is a thief and a robber.
[2] But he that entereth in by the
door is the shepherd of the sheep.
[3] To him the porter openeth; and the
sheep hear his voice: and he calleth
his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out.
[4] And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth
before them, and the sheep follow him: for they
know his voice.
[5] And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers.
[6] This parable
spake Yeshua unto them: but they understood not what things they were which he
spake unto them.
[7] Then said Yeshua unto them again, Verily,
verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep.
[8] All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them.
[9] I am the door: by me if any man enter
in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.
[10] The thief cometh not, but for to steal,
and to kill, and to destroy:
I am come
that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
[11] I am the
good shepherd:
the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.
[12]
But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd,
whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf
coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth:
and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth
the sheep.
[13] The hireling fleeth, because he
is an
hireling, and careth not for the sheep.
[14] I am the
good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine.
[15] As the
Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I
lay down my life for the sheep.
[16] And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring,
and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.
[17] Therefore
doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again.
[18] No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power
to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I
received of my Father.
[23] And Yeshua
walked in the temple in Solomon's porch.
[24] Then came the Jews round about him, and said unto him, How
long dost thou make us to doubt? If thou be the Messiah, tell us plainly.
[25] Yeshua answered them, I told you ( I
am the Messiah), and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father's name,
they bear witness of me.
[26] But ye
believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you.
[27] My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
[28] And I
give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish,
neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
[29] My
Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck
them out of my Father's hand.
[30] I and my
Father are one.
--------------------------------
Matt.7
21] Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven;
but he that doeth the will
of my Father which is in heaven.
[22] Many will say to me
in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and
in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done
many wonderful works?
[23] And then will I
profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from
me, ye that work iniquity.
------------------------------
[24]
Therefore whosoever heareth these
sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built
his house upon a rock:
[25] And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew,
and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.
[26]
And every one that heareth these
sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which
built his house upon the sand:
[27] And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew,
and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.
[28] And it came to pass, when Yeshua had ended these sayings, the people were astonished at his doctrine:[29] For he taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.
John.21 - feed my sheep not others
[14] This is now the
third time that Yeshua shewed himself to
his disciples, after that he was risen from the dead.
[15] So when they had
dined, Yeshua saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest
thou me more than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest
that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs.
[16] He saith to him
again the second time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest
thou me? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest
that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my sheep.
[17] He saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest
thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest
thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest
all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Yeshua saith
unto him, Feed my sheep.
In closing:
I can obviously make this study much longer, but I believe this will suffice if you have ears to hear.
There are
always “one’ people of God, “one” God of Israel, and ‘one” way to serve the God
of Israel.
As I read to
you earlier, there is one shepherd and one fold, one God of Israel, one people
of Israel.
This is the
same theme through the whole Bible for the people of God of Israel. This
includes the Gentiles that join the God of Israel, they are no longer of the
nations, Gentiles, but they are now part of the Israel of God, and there’s no
difference.
We are all
one in Messiah, the God of Israel.
Shabbat Shalom
