We are sadly, still using the Gregorian
calendar from Pope Gregory; from the 1500’s today in the 21 century
Today is 3/30/2024
March - Mars' month
Middle English March(e)
Anglo-French March(e)
Old English Martius
Latin Martius "of Mars"
Latin Marti(s) "Mars" + -us (adj. suffix)
Latin Martius mensis "month
of Mars"
Martius has
always had 31 days.
March was the original beginning of the year
and the time for the resumption of war.
Mars is the Roman god of war. He is
identified with the Greek god Ares.
Yehovah has His own calendar which is deleted from the world
We are now in Adar2, day 19

A
sacred assembly

Passover
Exod.12 [16] And in the first day there shall
be an holy convocation, and in the seventh day there shall be an holy
convocation to you; no manner of work shall be done in them, save that
which every man must eat, that only may be done of you.
Let’s read Lev.23
- Remember who is speaking
[1] And
Yehovah spoke unto Moses, saying,
[2] Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, concerning the
feasts of Yehovah, which you
shall proclaim to be holy convocations, even these are my feasts.
[3] Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the
Sabbath of rest, an holy convocation; you shall do no work therein: it
is the Sabbath of Yehovah in all your dwellings.
[4] These are the feasts of
Yehovah, even holy convocations, which you shall proclaim in their
seasons.
[5]
In the fourteenth day of the first month at even is Yehovah's Passover.
[6] And on the fifteenth day
of the same month is the feast of unleavened bread unto Yehovah: seven days you
must eat unleavened bread.
[7] In the first day you shall have an holy convocation:
you shall do no servile work therein.
[8]
But you shall offer an offering made by fire unto Yehovah seven days: in the seventh day is an holy
convocation: you shall do no servile work therein.
[9] And Yehovah spoke
unto Moses, saying,
[10] Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When you be
come into the land which I give unto you, and shall reap the harvest thereof,
then you shall bring a sheaf of the first fruits of your harvest unto the
priest:
[11] And he shall wave the sheaf before Yehovah, to be accepted for you:
on the morrow after the Sabbath the
priest shall wave it.
[14] And you shall eat neither bread, nor parched
corn, nor green ears, until the selfsame day that you have brought an offering
unto your God: it shall be a statute for ever throughout
your generations in all your dwellings.
[15]
And you shall count unto you from the morrow after the Sabbath, from the day
that you brought the sheaf of the wave offering; seven Sabbaths shall be
complete:
[16] Even unto the morrow after
the seventh Sabbath shall you number fifty days; and you shall offer a new meat offering unto Yehovah.
[17] You shall bring out of your habitations two wave loaves of two
tenth deals: they shall
be of fine flour; they shall be baked
with leaven; they are the first fruits
unto Yehovah.
[21]
And you shall proclaim on the selfsame day, that it may be an holy
convocation unto you: you shall do no servile work therein:
[22… I am
Yehovah your God.
[23] And Yehovah
spoke unto Moses, saying,
it shall be a statute forever in all your dwellings throughout your
generations.
[24]
Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, In the seventh month, in the first day of the month,
shall you have a Sabbath, a
memorial of blowing of trumpets, an holy convocation.
[25] You shall do no servile work therein: but ye
shall offer an offering made by fire unto Yehovah
[26] And Yehovah
spoke unto Moses, saying,
[27]
Also on the tenth day of this seventh month there shall be a day of
atonement: it shall be an holy convocation unto you; and you
shall afflict your souls, and offer an offering made by fire unto Yehovah.
[35]
On the first day shall be an holy convocation: you shall do
no servile work therein.
[36]
Seven days you shall offer an offering made by fire unto Yehovah: on the
eighth day shall be an holy convocation unto you; and you
shall offer an offering made by fire unto Yehovah: it is a solemn assembly;
and you shall do no servile work therein.
[37]
These are the feasts of Yehovah, which you shall proclaim to be holy
convocations…
Similar
verses in:
Num.28 [18] In the first day shall be an holy convocation; you shall do no manner of servile work therein…
[25] And on the
seventh day you shall have an holy convocation; you shall do no servile work.
Feast of weeks
[26] Also in the
day of the first fruits, when you bring a new meat offering unto Yehovah,
after your weeks be out, you shall have an holy convocation; you shall do no servile work…
Num.29 [1] And in the seventh month, on the first day of the month, you shall have
an holy convocation; you shall do no servile work: it is a day of

[12] And on the
fifteenth day of the seventh month you shall have an holy convocation;

days.
First, let’s look up the word Synagogue:
4864
συναγωγή sunagoge {soon-ag-o-gay'}
Meaning:
1) a bringing together, gathering
2) in the Gospels, an
assembling together of men, an
assembly of men
3) a synagogue
3a) an assembly
of Jews formally gathered together
to offer prayers and listen to the reading and expositions of the scriptures; assemblies of that sort were held every sabbath and feast days, name transferred
to an assembly of Christians formally gathered together for religious purposes
Usage: AV -
synagogue 55, congregation 1, assembly 1; 57
**Here are a few verses to show what Yeshua
did on the Sabbath day
[1] And he / Yeshua entered
again into the synagogue; and there was a man there which had a withered
hand.[2] And they watched him, whether he would heal him on the
Sabbath day; that they might accuse him.
**Here are a few verses to show what Paul did
on the Sabbath day
Saul /Paul
And lastly…
Psalm 19
[7] The law of Yehovah
is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of Yehovah is sure,
making wise the simple.
[8] The statutes
of Yehovah are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of Yehovah
is pure, enlightening the eyes.
[9] The fear of Yehovah
is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of Yehovah are true and
righteous altogether.
[10] More to be
desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey
and the honeycomb.
[11] Moreover by
them is thy servant warned: and in keeping of them there is great reward.
Over the years I spoke many times about the 7 other Sabbaths
besides the weekly 7th day Sabbath.
In
closing for today,
We
see the Feasts of Yehovah and the Sabbath are holy convocation;
they are an assembly of people together.
I
never read that the Sabbath was done alone by anyone in scripture.
I
said numerous times in the past 22 years, if there was another congregation
anywhere that kept the commandments and Sabbath, we would go there. I still
believe that.
Like I said in last week’s study, it is your
choice each day what you are going to do, good or
evil - Choose life that you may live
Remember:
As the saying goes:
So what is good for the goose is good for the
gander
We all do the same things
Remember,
Jame said:
Jas.4 [17] Therefore to him /her that knows to
do good and does it not, to him it is sin.
May God bless your lives
