Today we are still using the Gregorian
calendar from Pope Gregory; from the 1500’s which
he introduced it as a modification of, and replacement for the Julian calendar.
Today is Oct.5, 2024
We
acknowledge God’s calendar - the Seventh month, day 1 - ha Ethanim = 1 Kings:8:2
Our
ministry has been a teaching ministry for the last 23 years to bring up topics

Today is a Memorial of Trumpets, a
Sabbath
Just like the 4th commandment,
a Sabbath.
Sabbath is not a Jewish tradition.
Here in Genesis 2:2,3 there
were no Jews nor Israel at that time.
Gen.2 [2] And on the
seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested
on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.
[3] And God blessed
the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he
had rested from all his work which God created and made.
Ex. 20 [8] Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it
holy.
זכר Remember
zâkar - zaw-kar' - A
primitive root; properly to mark (so as to be recognized),
that is, to remember; by implication to mention; make mention of, be mindful, recount, record (-er), remember, make to be remembered, bring (call, come, keep, put) to
(in) remembrance…
[9] Six
days shall you labor, and do all your work:
[10] But the seventh day is the Sabbath of Yehovah your God: in it you shall not do any work, you, nor your son, nor
your daughter, your manservant nor your maidservant, nor your cattle, nor
your stranger that is within your gates:
Isa. 58 [13] If you turn away your
foot from the Sabbath, from doing your pleasure on my holy day; and call the sabbath a delight, the holy of Yehovah, honorable;
and shall honor him,
1 - not doing thine (your) own ways,
2 - nor finding thine (your) own pleasure,
3 - nor speaking thine (your) own words:
[14] Then shall you
delight yourself in Yehovah; and I will cause you to ride upon
the high places of the earth, and feed you with the heritage of Jacob your father: for
the mouth of Yehovah had spoken it.
Lev. 23 [3] Six days shall
work be done: but the seventh day is the Sabbath of rest, an "holy convocation"; ye shall do no work therein: it is
the Sabbath of Yehovah in all your dwellings.
I have been doing basic studies for
the last few weeks so people can learn.
Today’s topic:
A memorial of
blowing of trumpets
Lev.19 [2] Speak unto all the congregation of the children of
Israel, and say unto them, You shall be holy: for I Yehovah your God am holy.
Lev. 23 [23] And Yehovah
spoke unto Moses, saying,
[24] Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, In the seventh month, in the first
day of the month, shall you have a Sabbath, a memorial of blowing of
trumpets, an holy convocation.
[25] You
shall do no servile work therein: but you shall offer an offering made by fire
unto Yehovah.

Let's look at a few vocabulary words
again:
זכר zâkar, zaw-kar'

This seventh month, ha Ethanim and its holy days and feast are at the end of
the last harvest, going towards the end of the year.
Notice how Judaism is wrong by saying this is the New Year when
God says it’s the end of the harvest,
the end of the year.
Exod.23 [16] And the
feast of harvest, the first fruits of your labors, which you have sown in
the field: and the feast of ingathering, (tabernacles), which is in the end of the year, when you have gathered in your
labors out of the field.
Exod.34 [22] And
you shall observe the feast of weeks, of the first fruits of wheat harvest, and
the feast of ingathering (tabernacles) at the year's end.
Shadows of
“things to come”
The feasts and holydays of Yehovah are all about the Messiah
Saul wrote this letter to the
Colossians about 2000 years ago
Colossians 2:16: Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or
in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days: 17: Which are a shadow of
"things to come" (future tense); but (and) the body is of Messiah / Christ.
Again let's go over a few words again
here in Greek:
judge - κρινω krino: to try to condemn, to separate,
put asunder, to pick out, to be of opinion, judge, to pronounce an opinion
concerning right and wrong, to contend, to dispute
holyday - εορτη heorte -heh-or-tay' - a festival: - feast, holyday.
shadow - σκια skia : shadow, an image cast by an
object and representing the form of that object, a sketch, outline
new moon -noumēnia νουμηνία - noo-may-nee'-ah - the new moon
meat - βρῶσις brōsis - that which
is eaten, clean food
Sabbath days - sabbaton - σάββατον - sab'-bat-on - the Sabbath or day of weekly repose from
secular avocations - Sabbath days during the holydays or feasts.
Remember: The word Tishri that Judaism calls this month is
"NOT" found in scripture.
Blow the trumpet! - Time to "Be
alert"
Let’s remember these trumpets again:
Exod. 19
[1] In the third month,
when the children of Israel were gone forth out of the land of Egypt, the same
day came they into the wilderness of Sinai.
[2] For they were departed from Rephidim,
and were come to the desert of Sinai, and had pitched in the wilderness; and
there Israel camped before the mount.
[3] And Moses went up unto God, and Yehovah
called unto him out of the mountain, saying, Thus shall you say to the house of
Jacob, and tell the children of Israel;
[4] You have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and how I bare you on
eagles' wings, and brought you unto myself.
[5] Now therefore, if you will obey my voice indeed, and keep my
covenant, then you shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for
all the earth is mine:
[6] And you shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation.
These are the words which you shall speak unto the children of Israel.
[7] And Moses came and called
for the elders of the people, and laid before their faces all these words which
Yehovah commanded him.
[8] And all the people answered together, and said, All that Yehovah had spoken we will do. And Moses returned the words
of the people unto Yehovah.
[9] And Yehovah said unto Moses, Lo, I
come unto you in a thick cloud, that the people may hear when I speak with you,
and believe you forever. And Moses told the words of the people unto Yehovah.
[10] And Yehovah said unto Moses, Go unto the
people, and sanctify them today and tomorrow, and let them wash their
clothes,
[11] And be ready against the third day: for the third day Yehovah will come down in the sight of all the people upon
mount Sinai.
[12] And you shall set bounds unto the people round about, saying, Take
heed to yourselves, that you go not up into the mount, or touch the border of
it: whosoever touches the mount shall be surely put to death:
[13] There shall not an hand touch it, but he shall surely be stoned, or
shot through; whether it be beast or man, it shall not live: when the
trumpet sounds long, they shall come up to the mount.
[14] And
Moses went down from the mount unto the people, and sanctified the people; and
they washed their clothes.
[15] And he said unto the people, Be ready
against the third day: come not at your wives.
[16] And it came to pass on the
third day in the morning, that there were thunders and lightning, and a thick
cloud upon the mount, and the voice of the trumpet exceeding loud; so that all
the people that was in the camp trembled.
[17] And Moses brought forth the people
out of the camp to meet with God; and they stood at the
nether part of the mount.
[18] And Mount Sinai was altogether on a smoke, because Yehovah descended upon it in fire: and
the smoke thereof ascended as the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mount
quaked greatly.
[19] And when
the voice of the trumpet sounded long and waxed louder and louder,
Moses spoke, and God answered him by a voice.
Some pluralities of God:
[21]
And Yehovah said unto Moses,
Go down, charge the people, lest they break through unto Yehovah to gaze, and
many of them perish.
[22] And let the priests also, which come near to Yehovah,
sanctify themselves, lest Yehovah break forth upon
them.
[23] And Moses said unto Yehovah, The people
cannot come up to Mount Sinai: for you charged us, saying,
Set bounds about the mount, and sanctify it.
[24] And Yehovah said unto him, Away,
get you down, and you shall come up, you, and Aaron with you: but let not the
priests and the people break through to come up unto Yehovah, lest
he break forth upon them.
[25] So Moses went down unto the people, and spoke unto them.
Memorial - Let's remember these
verses of the blowing of trumpets:
Joshua 6 – seem like a picture of the
end
1 Now Jericho was straightly shut up
because of the children of Israel: none went out, and none came in.
2 And Yehovah said
unto Joshua, See, I have given into thine hand
Jericho, and the king thereof, and the mighty men of valor.
3 And you shall compass the city, all you men of war,
and go round about the city once. Thus shall you do six days.
4 And seven priests shall bear before the ark seven trumpets of rams' horns: and the seventh day you shall
compass the city seven times, and the priests
shall blow with the
trumpets.
5 And it shall come to pass, that when they make a long blast with the ram's
horn, and when you hear the sound of the trumpet, all the people shall shout with a great shout; and the
wall of the city shall fall down flat, and the people shall ascend up every man straight before him. (Just like 1Thessalonians 4:16 -18)
6 And Joshua the son of Nun called the priests, and
said unto them, Take up the Ark of the Covenant, and let seven priests bear seven trumpets of rams' horns before the ark of Yehovah.
7 And he said unto the people, Pass on, and compass
the city, and let him that is armed pass on before the ark of Yehovah.
8 And it came to pass, when Joshua had spoken unto
the people, that the seven priests
bearing the seven trumpets
of rams' horns passed on
before Yehovah, and blew with the trumpets: and the ark of the covenant
of Yehovah followed them.
9 And the armed men went before the priests that blew
with the trumpets, and the rereward came
after the ark, the priests going on, and blowing with the trumpets.
10 And Joshua had commanded the people, saying, Ye shall not shout, nor make any noise with your voice,
neither shall any word proceed out of your mouth, until the day I bid you shout; then shall you shout.
11 So the ark of Yehovah compassed
the city, going about it once: and they came into the camp, and lodged in the
camp.
12 And Joshua rose early in the morning, and the priests took up the ark
of Yehovah.
13 And seven priests bearing seven trumpets of rams' horns before the ark of Yehovah went
on continually, and blew with the trumpets: and the armed men went before them; but the rereward came after the ark of Yehovah, the priests going on, and blowing with the trumpets.
14 And the second day they compassed the city once,
and returned into the camp: so they did six days.
15 And it came to pass on the seventh day , that they rose early about the
dawning of the day, and compassed
the city after the same manner seven times : only on that day they compassed the city seven times.
16 And it came to pass at the seventh time, when the priests blew with the
trumpets, Joshua said
unto the people, Shout; for Yehovah had
given you the city.
17 And the city shall be accursed, even it, and all
that are therein, to Yehovah: only Rahab the harlot shall live, she and all that are with
her in the house, because she hid the messengers that we sent.
18 And you, in any wise keep yourselves from the
accursed thing, lest you make yourselves accursed, when you take of the
accursed thing, and make the camp of Israel a curse, and trouble it.
19 But all the silver, and gold, and vessels of brass
and iron, are consecrated unto Yehovah: they
shall come into the treasury of Yehovah.
20 So the people shouted when the priests blew with the trumpets: and it came to pass, when the
people heard the sound of the trumpet, and the
people shouted with a
great shout, that the wall fell down flat,
so that the people
went up into the
city, every man straight before him, and they took the city.
21 And they utterly destroyed all that was in the
city, both man and woman, young and old, and ox, and sheep, and ass, with the
edge of the sword. (Sinners lost)
22 But Joshua had said unto the two men that had spied
out the country, Go into the harlot's house, and bring out thence the woman,
and all that she had, as you sware unto
her.
23 And the young men that were spies went in, and
brought Rahab, and her father, and her mother,
and her brethren, and all that she had; and they brought out all her kindred,
and left them without the camp of Israel.
24 And they burnt the city with fire, and all that was
therein: only the silver, and the gold, and the vessels of brass and of iron,
they put into the treasury of the house of Yehovah.
25 And Joshua saved Rahab the
harlot alive, and her father's household, and all that she had; and she dwelleth in Israel even unto this day; because she hid
the messengers, which Joshua sent to spy out Jericho.
26 And Joshua adjured them at that time,
saying, cursed be the man before Yehovah,
that riseth up and builds this
city Jericho: he shall lay the foundation thereof in his firstborn, and in his
youngest son shall he set up the gates of it.
27 So Yehovah was
with Joshua; and his fame was noised throughout all the country.
Let’s look forward for these trumpets
in the future
The Lord Yeshua shall
descend from heaven!
1 Thes. 4 [13] But I would not have you to be ignorant,
brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that you sorrow not, even as others
which have no hope.
[14] For if we believe that Yeshua died
and rose again, even so them also which sleep (are dead) in Yeshua
will God bring with him.
[15] For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are
alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent (go before) them
which are asleep. (are dead)
[16] For the Lord himself shall
descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Messiah shall rise first:
[17] Then we
which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet
the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
[18] Wherefore comfort one another
with these words.
We shall rise, be changed one day -
The resurrection of the dead
1 Cor. 15 [42]
the resurrection of the dead, It is sown in corruption;
it is raised in incorruption:
[43] It is sown in dishonor; it
is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:
[44] It is sown a natural body; it is
raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.
[45] And so it is written, the first man Adam was made a
living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.
[46] Howbeit that was not
first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which
is spiritual.
[47] The first man is of the earth, earthy:
the second man is the Lord from heaven.
[48] As is the earthy, such
are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that
are heavenly.
[49] And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear
the image of the heavenly.
[50] Now this I say, brethren, that
flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption
inherit incorruption.
[51] Behold,
I show you a mystery; We shall not all sleep
(die), but we shall all be changed,
[52] In a moment, in the
twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be
raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
[53] For this corruptible must
put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
[54] So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this
mortal shall have put on immortality, and then shall be brought to
pass the saying that is written, Death
is swallowed up in victory.
Isa.25 [8] He will swallow
up death in victory;
and the Lord Yehovah will wipe away tears from off
all faces…
[55] O death, where is your
sting? O grave, where is your victory?
[56] The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.
[57] But thanks are to God, which gives us the
victory through our Lord Yeshua the Messiah.
[58] Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, unmovable,
always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as you know that
your labor is not in vain in the Lord.
Matthew 24: 29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be
darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from
heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man
in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth
mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the
clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of
a trumpet, and they
shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to
the other.
More trumpets
Revelation 8:2 And I saw the seven
angels which stood
before God; and to them were given seven trumpets.
Revelation 10:7 But (and) in the days of the voice of the seventh
angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of
God should be finished, as he had declared to his servants the prophets.
In conclusion for
today:
Deut.7 [6] For you are an holy
people unto Yehovah
your God: Yehovah your God hath chosen thee to be
a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the
earth.
Lev.11 [44] For I am Yehovah your God: you shall therefore sanctify
yourselves, and you shall be holy; for I am holy…
