Today is Nov 23, 2024
November - the 9th month – today the 11th month
Latin Novembris mensis "nineth month"
Novembris had 30 days,
until Numa when it had 29 days, until Julius when
it became 30 days long.
Yehovah has His own calendar:
We are now in the 8 month of God called Bul / Bool, day 20
1Kgs.6 [38]… in the
month Bul, which is the eighth month
Not Cheshvan or Mar Cheshvan as Judaism states
Today’s Topic
His mercy endures for ever
Pss.103 [17] … the
mercy of Yehovah is from everlasting
to everlasting upon them that fear him,
and his righteousness unto
children's children.
[18] To such as keep his covenant,
and
to those
that remember his commandments to do them.
Pss.51 [16] For you desired not sacrifice; else would I give it: you delight not in burnt offering.
[17] The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit:
a broken and a contrite heart, O God, you will not despise.
Hos.6 [6] … I
desired mercy and not sacrifice and the
knowledge of God more than burnt offerings.
Matt.9 [13] But go and
learn what that means, I will have mercy, and not
sacrifice:
for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners
to repentance.
Jer. 7 [22] For I
spoke not unto your fathers, nor commanded them in the day that I brought them
out of the land of Egypt, concerning
burnt offerings or sacrifices:
[23] But this thing commanded I
them, saying,
Obey my voice, and I will be your God, and you shall be my people:
and walk in all the ways that I have commanded you that it may be well unto
you.
Who is my neighbor?
Who is my mother?
Who are my brothers and sisters, sons or daughters?
Who
do we love more than God?
Luke 10 [29]
… And who is my neighbor?
[30] And Yeshua answering said,
A certain man went down from
Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, which stripped him of his
raiment, and wounded him, and departed, leaving him half dead.
[31] And by chance there
came down a certain priest that way:
and when he saw him, he passed by on the other side.
[32] And likewise a Levite, when he was at the place,
came and looked on him, and passed by on the other side.
[33] But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed,
came where he was: and when he saw him, he had compassion on him,[34]
And went to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine, and set him
on his own beast, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him.
[35] And on the morrow
when he departed, he took out two pence, and gave them to the host, and said
unto him, Take care of him; and whatsoever you spend more, when I come again, I
will repay you.
[36] Which now of these
three, think you was neighbor unto him that fell among the thieves?
[37] And he said, He that showed mercy on him.
Then
said Yeshua unto him, Go, and do likewise.
Matt.12 [46] While Yeshua yet talked to the people, behold, his
mother and his brethren stood without, desiring to speak with him.
[47] Then one said unto him, Behold,
your mother and your brethren stand without, desiring to speak with you.
[48] But he answered and
said unto him that told him,
Who
is my mother? And who are my brethren?
[49] And Yeshua stretched forth his
hand toward his disciples, and said,
Behold
my mother and my brethren!
[50] For whosoever shall do the will of my
Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.
Matt.10 [34] Think not that I am
come to send peace on earth:
I came
not to send peace, but a
sword.
[35] For I am come to set a man at
variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the
daughter in law against her mother in law.
[36] And a man's foes shall be they of
his own household.
[37] He that loves father or mother
more than me is
not worthy of me:
and he
that loves son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.
[38] And he that takes not his cross,
and follows after me, is
not worthy of me.
[39] He that finds his life shall lose
it: and he that loses his life for my sake shall find it.
These verses above are from:
Mic.7 [5] Trust not in a friend put not confidence in a guide:
keep
the doors of your mouth from her that lies in your bosom.
[6]
For the son dishonors the father, the daughter rises up against her mother, the
daughter in law against her mother in law;
a man's enemies are the men of his own house.
[7] Therefore I
will look unto Yehvah; I will wait for the God of my salvation: my God will
hear me.
Mat. 23 [23] Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites!
for you
pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and
have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith:
these ought you to have done, and not to leave the other undone.
We trust John, he told us:
1 John 3 [4] whosoever commits sin transgresses also the
law:
for sin
is the transgression of the law.
I will start today with the 10 commandments:
Remember these are commands from God,
not suggestions or just something from the past.
The 10 commandments
Exod.20 or Deut. 5
[1] And God spoke all these words, saying,
[2] I am Yehovah your God, which have
brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. (for us, our
last life of sin)
Commandment 1
[3] You shall have no other gods before me.
Commandment 2
[4]
You shall not make unto you any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that
is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water
under the earth:
[5] You shall not bow down yourself to them, nor serve them: for I Yehovah
your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the
children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; (or any
generation)
[6] And showing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.
40 years later:
Deut.5 [10] And showing mercy unto thousands of them that love me and
keep my commandments.
Commandment 3
[7]
You shall not take the name of Yehovah
your God in vain; for Yehovah will not hold
him guiltless that takes his name in vain.
Yeshua said: Mark.7 [7] howbeit in vain do they worship Me, teaching for
doctines
the commandments of men. [8]
For laying aside the commandment of God, you
hold the tradition of men…
Commandment
4
[8] Remember the Sabbath
day, to keep it holy.
Gen.2
[1] Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all
the host of them.
[2] And on the
seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.
[3] And God blessed the
seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his
work which God created and made.

- Commandment 4
[9] Six days shall you
labor, and do all your work:
[10] But the seventh day is the Sabbath
of Yehovah your God: in it you shall not do any work, you, nor your son,
nor your daughter, your manservant, nor your maidservant, nor your cattle, nor your
stranger that is within your gates:
[11] For in six days Yehovah made heaven and earth, the sea, and all
that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore Yehovah blessed the Sabbath day, and hallowed it. (made it holy)
Exod.31 [14] You shall keep the Sabbath therefore; for it is holy unto you: every one that defiles it
shall surely be put to death: for whosoever does any work therein, that soul shall be cut off
from among his people.
[15] Six days may work be done; but in the seventh is the Sabbath of rest, holy to Yehovah:
whosoever does any work in the sabbath day, he
shall surely be put to death
Commandment 5
[12]
Honor your father and your mother: that your days may be long upon the land
which Yehovah your God gives you.
Commandment 6
[13] You shall not
kill.
Commandment 7
[14] You shall not
commit adultery.
Commandment 8
[15] You shall not
steal.
Commandment 9
[16] You shall not bear false witness (liars) against your neighbor.
Commandment 10
[17] You shall not
covet your neighbor’s house, you shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, nor his
manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is
your neighbor’s.
Exod.31 [18] And he gave
unto Moses, when he had made an end of communing with him upon mount Sinai, two
tables of testimony, tables of stone, written
with the finger of
God.
Rev.21 [8]…the fearful, and
unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and
sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars,
shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
I started today with the 10
commandments; are you keeping all 10?
If not, it is sin.
There is no sin in the kingdom of heaven.
It
maybe still time to repent and change the roads you are on.
In closing for today,
Jude.1 [21]
Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Yeshua
the Messiah unto eternal life.
Heb.12 [14] Follow
peace with all men (mankind), and
holiness, without which no
man shall see the Lord:
Be aware of the "false image" of love
Be aware of "false feelings and emotions"
These pagan feasts bring on loneliness, depression,
suicide and oh yes, great debt.
Be safe out there; keep your eyes open if you are
around crowds, malls etc…
