Isa.26
[3] God will keep
him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusts in
thee.
Num.25
[10] And Yehovah
spake unto Moses, saying,
[11] Phinehas, the son of Eleazar,
the son of Aaron the priest, hath turned my wrath away from the children of
Israel, while he was zealous for my sake among them, that I consumed not the
children of Israel in my jealousy.
[12] Wherefore say, Behold, I
give unto him my covenant of peace:
הִנְנִ֙י
נֹתֵ֥ן ל֛וֹ
אֶת־בְּרִיתִ֖י
שָׁלֽוֹם׃
[13] And he shall have it, and his seed after him, even
the covenant of an everlasting priesthood; because he was zealous for his God,
and made an atonement for the children of Israel.
[1] And the children of Israel did evil in the sight of Yehovah: and Yehovah delivered
them into the hand of Midian seven years.
[2] And the hand of Midian prevailed against Israel: and because of the Midianites the children of Israel made them the dens which
are in the mountains, and caves, and strong holds.
[3] And so it was, when Israel
had sown, that the Midianites came up, and the Amalekites, and the children of the east, even they came up
against them;
[4] And they encamped against
them, and destroyed the increase of the earth, till thou come unto Gaza, and
left no sustenance for Israel, neither sheep, nor ox, nor ass.
[5] For they came up with their
cattle and their tents, and they came as grasshoppers for multitude; for both
they and their camels were without number: and they entered into the land to
destroy it.
[6] And Israel was greatly
impoverished because of the Midianites; and the
children of Israel cried unto Yehovah.
[7] And it came to pass, when
the children of Israel cried unto Yehovah because of
the Midianites,
[8] That Yehovah
sent a prophet unto the children of Israel, which said unto them, Thus saith Yehovah God of Israel, I
brought you up from Egypt, and brought you forth out of the house of bondage;
[9] And I delivered you out of
the hand of the Egyptians, and out of the hand of all that oppressed you, and drave them out from before you, and gave you their land;
[10] And I said unto you, I am Yehovah your God; fear not the gods of the Amorites, in
whose land ye dwell: but ye have not obeyed my voice.
[11] And there came an angel of Yehovah, and sat under an oak which was in Ophrah, that pertained unto Joash
the Abi-ezrite: and his son Gideon threshed wheat by
the winepress, to hide it from the Midianites.
[12] And the angel of Yehovah appeared unto him, and said unto him, Yehovah is with thee, thou mighty man of valour.
[13] And Gideon said unto him,
Oh my Lord, if Yehovah be with us, why then is all
this befallen us? and where be all his miracles which
our fathers told us of, saying, Did not Yehovah bring
us up from Egypt? but now Yehovah
hath forsaken us, and delivered us into the hands of the Midianites.
[14] And Yehovah
looked upon him, and said, Go in this thy might, and
thou shalt save Israel from the hand of the Midianites: have not I sent thee?
[15] And he said unto him, Oh my
Lord, wherewith shall I save Israel? behold, my family
is poor in Manasseh, and I am the least in my father's house.
[16] And Yehovah
said unto him, Surely I will be with thee, and thou shalt smite the Midianites as one
man.
[17] And he said unto him, If now I have found grace in thy sight, then shew me a sign that thou talkest
with me.
[18] Depart not hence, I pray
thee, until I come unto thee, and bring forth my present, and set it before
thee. And he said, I will tarry until thou come again.
[19] And Gideon went in, and
made ready a kid, and unleavened cakes of an ephah of
flour: the flesh he put in a basket, and he put the broth in a pot, and brought
it out unto him under the oak, and presented it.
[20] And the angel of God said
unto him, Take the flesh and the unleavened cakes, and lay them upon this rock,
and pour out the broth. And he did so.
[21] Then the angel of Yehovah put forth the end of the staff that was in his
hand, and touched the flesh and the unleavened cakes; and there rose up fire
out of the rock, and consumed the flesh and the unleavened cakes. Then the
angel of Yehovah departed out of his sight.
[22] And when Gideon perceived
that he was an angel of Yehovah, Gideon said, Alas, O
Lord Yehovah! for because I
have seen an angel of Yehovah face to face.
[23] And Yehovah said unto him, Peace be unto thee; שָׁל֥וֹם
לְךָ֖
fear not: thou
shall not die.
[24] Then Gideon built an altar there unto Yehovah,
and called it Jehovah-shalom: unto this day it is yet in Ophrah
of the Abi-ezrites.
Pss.29
[11] Yehovah will give strength unto his people; Yehovah will bless his people with peace.
Pss.34
[14] Depart from
evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it. [15]
The eyes of Yehovah are upon the righteous, and his
ears are open unto their cry.
Pss.37[11] But the
meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.
[37] Mark the
perfect man, and behold the upright: for the end of that man is peace.
Pss.119
[165] Great peace have
they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them.
Pss.122
[6] Pray for the peace of
Jerusalem:
שַׁ֭אֲלוּ
שְׁל֣וֹם

they shall prosper that love thee.
[7] Peace be within thy walls, and prosperity within thy palaces.
[8] For my brethren
and companions' sakes, I will now say, Peace be within thee.
Prov.3
[1] My son, forget
not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments:
[2] For length of days, and long life, and
peace, shall they add to thee.
Prov.12
[20] Deceit is in
the heart of them that imagine evil: but to the counselors of peace is
joy.
Prov.16
[7] When a man's
ways please Yehovah, he maketh
even his enemies to be at peace with him.
Isa.32
[17] And the work of
righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness
quietness and assurance forever.[18] And my
people shall dwell in a peaceable
habitation, and in sure dwellings, and in quiet resting places…
Isa.39
[8] Then said
Hezekiah to Isaiah, Good is the word of Yehovah which
thou hast spoken. He said moreover, For there shall be peace and
truth in my days.
Isa.45 [7]
I form the light, and create darkness: I
make peace, and create
evil: I Yehovah do all these (things.)

[1] The righteous
perish, and no man lays it to heart: and merciful men are taken away, none
considering that the righteous is taken away from the evil to come.
[2] He shall enter into peace:
they shall rest in their beds, each one walking in his uprightness.
Isa. 55
[8] For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,
said Yehovah.

An utterance, a declaration
[9] For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher
than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
[10] For as the rain cometh
down, and the snow from heaven, and returns not thither, but waters the earth,
and makes it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:
[11] So shall my word be that goes forth out of my mouth: it shall not
return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall
prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
[12] For ye shall go out
with joy, and be led forth with
peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing,
and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.
[13] Instead of the thorn
shall come up the fir tree, and
instead of the brier shall come up the
myrtle tree: and it shall be to Yehovah for a name, for an everlasting sign that shall
not be cut off.
Ecc.3
[1] To everything there is a season, and
a time to every purpose under the heaven:
[2] A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to
pluck up that which is planted;
[3] A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time
to build up;
[4] A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to
dance;
[5] A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a
time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;
[6] A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to
cast away;
[7] A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a
time to speak;

Saul said:
Phil.4
[4] Rejoice in the Lord Yeshua always: and again I say, Rejoice.
[5] Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord Yeshua is at hand.
[6] Be careful for nothing; but in everything
by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known
unto God.
[7] And the peace
of God, which passes all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds
through Messiah Yeshua.
Col.3
[12] Put on therefore, as the
elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of
mind, meekness, longsuffering;
[13] Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have
a quarrel against any: even as Messiah forgave you, so also do ye.
[14] And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of
perfectness.
[15] And let the peace
of God rule in your hearts, to the which also
ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.
Yeshua said:
Matt.5
[9] Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the
children of God.
Mark 4
[39] And he arose,
and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and
there was a great calm.
John.14
[27] Peace I
leave with you, My peace I give unto
you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let
not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
[21]
There is no peace, said my God, to the wicked. אֵ֣ין

Pss.72 Messiah
[1] Give the king thy judgments, O God,
and thy righteousness unto the king's son.
[2] He shall judge thy people with righteousness, and thy poor with
judgment.
[3] The mountains shall bring peace to the people, and the little hills,
by righteousness.
[4] He shall judge the poor of the people, he
shall save the children of the needy, and shall break in pieces the oppressor.
[5] They shall fear thee as long as the sun and moon endure, throughout
all generations.
[6] He shall come down like rain upon the mown grass: as showers that
water the earth.
[7] In his days shall the righteous flourish; and abundance of peace so long as the moon endureth.
[8] He shall have dominion also from sea to sea, and from the river unto
the ends of the earth.
[9] They that dwell in the wilderness shall bow before him; and his
enemies shall lick the dust.
[10] The kings of Tarshish and of the isles
shall bring presents: the kings of Sheba and Seba
shall offer gifts.
[11] Yea, all kings shall fall down before him: all nations shall serve
him.
[12] For he shall deliver the needy when he crieth;
the poor also, and him that hath no helper.
[13] He shall spare the poor and needy, and shall save the souls of the
needy.
[14] He shall redeem their soul from deceit and violence: and precious
shall their blood be in his sight.
[15] And he shall live, and to him shall be given of the gold of Sheba:
prayer also shall be made for him continually; and daily shall he be praised.
[16] There shall be a handful of corn in the earth upon the top of the
mountains; the fruit thereof shall shake like Lebanon: and they of the city
shall flourish like grass of the earth.
[17] His name shall endure for ever: his name shall be continued as long
as the sun: and men shall be blessed in him: all nations shall call him
blessed.
[18] Blessed be Yehovah God, the God of
Israel, who only doeth wondrous things.
[19] And blessed be his glorious name for ever: and let the whole earth
be filled with his glory; Amen, and Amen.
[20] The prayers of David the son of Jesse are ended. - And I will also end, shalom
