the month Abib - ha Aviv, day 8

Today’s topic
A good time for a New Beginning
There is only one beginning of the year
and one end of the year
Deut.11
[12] A land
which Yehovah thy Yehovah cares for:
the eyes of Yehovah thy God are always upon
it, from the beginning of the year even unto the
end of the year.
Many
other very important events happened on the first day, first month,
Let’s
read
Here are some
"new beginnings"
Exod.40
[2] On the first day of the first month shall you
set up the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation.
[17]
And it came to pass in the first month in
the second year, on the first day of the month, that the
tabernacle was reared up.
[33]
And he reared up the court round about the tabernacle and the altar, and set up
the hanging of the court gate. So Moses finished
the work.
[34]
Then a cloud covered the tent of the congregation, and the glory of Yehovah filled the tabernacle.
[35]
And Moses was not able to enter into the tent of the congregation, because the cloud
abode thereon, and the glory of Yehovah filled
the tabernacle.
[36]
And when the cloud was taken up from over the tabernacle, the children of
Israel went onward in all their journeys:
[37]
But if the cloud were not taken up, then they journeyed not till the day that
it was taken up.
[38]
For the cloud of Yehovah was upon the
tabernacle by day, and fire was on it by night, in the sight of all the house
of Israel, throughout all their journeys.
Gen.8
[13] And it came to
pass in the six hundredth and first year, in the
first month, the first day of the month, the
waters were dried up from off the earth: and Noah removed the
covering of the ark, and looked, and, behold, the face of the ground was dry.
Ezra 7
[1] Now after these
things, in the reign of Artaxerxes king of
Persia, Ezra the son of Seraiah, the son of Azariah,
the son of Hilkiah,
[2] The son of Shallum, the son of Zadok, the son of Ahitub,
[3] The son of Amariah, the son of Azariah, the son of Meraioth,
[4] The son of Zerahiah, the son of Uzzi, the son of Bukki,
[5] The son of Abishua, the son of Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the chief priest:
[6] This Ezra went up from Babylon; and he was a
ready scribe in the law of Moses, which Yehovah Yehovah of Israel had given: and the king granted him
all his request, according to the hand of Yehovah his Yehovah upon him.
[9] For upon the first day of the first
month began he to go up from Babylon,
and on the first day of the fifth month came he to Jerusalem, according to
the good hand of his Yehovah upon him.
[10] For Ezra had prepared his heart to seek the law of Yehovah, and to do it, and to teach in Israel statutes and
judgments.
Ezra 10
[17] And they
made an end with all the men that had taken strange
wives by the first day of the first
month.
Ezek. 29
[17] And it
came to pass in the seven and twentieth year, in
the first month, in the first day of the month, the word of Yehovah came
unto me, saying,
[18]
Son of man, Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon
caused his army to serve a great service against Tyrus:
every head was made bald, and every shoulder was peeled: yet had he no wages, nor his army, for Tyrus,
for the service that he had served against it:
[19]
Therefore thus said the Lord Yehovah ;
Behold, I will give the land of Egypt unto Nebuchadrezzar king
of Babylon; and he shall take her multitude, and take her spoil, and take her
prey; and it shall be the wages for his army.
[20]
I have given him the land of Egypt for his labour wherewith
he served against it, because they wrought for me, said the Lord Yehovah .
[21]
In that day will I cause the horn of the house of Israel to bud forth, and I
will give you the opening of the mouth in the midst of them; and they shall
know that I am Yehovah.
The beginning of barley harvest
Ruth 1
[22] So Naomi
returned, and Ruth the Moabitess, her daughter
in law, with her, which returned out of the country of Moab: and they came to
Bethlehem in the beginning of barley harvest.
2 Sam.
21
[9] And he
delivered them into the hands of the Gibeonites,
and they hanged them in the hill before Yehovah:
and they fell all seven together, and were put to death in the days of harvest,
in the first days, in the beginning of barley harvest.
A good time to be New and come
out and be separate
By strength of hand Yehovah brought
us out from Egypt, from the house of bondage (for us, our last life of sin)
Exod. 13
[3] And Moses said
unto the people, Remember this day, in
which ye came out from Egypt, out of the house of bondage; for by strength of hand Yehovah brought you out from this place: there shall
no leavened bread be eaten.
[8]
And you shall shew thy
son in that day, saying, This is done because of that which Yehovah did unto me when I came forth out of Egypt.
[9]
And it shall be for a sign unto you upon thine hand,
and for a memorial between thine eyes,
that Yehovah's law may be in thy mouth: for
with a strong hand had Yehovah brought you
out of Egypt.
[14]
And it shall be when thy son asketh you in time to come, saying, What
is this?
that you shall say
unto him, By
strength of hand Yehovah brought us out
from Egypt, from the house of bondage:
[15]
And it came to pass, when Pharaoh would hardly let us go, that Yehovah slew all the firstborn in the land of Egypt,
both the firstborn of man, and the firstborn of beast: therefore I sacrifice
to Yehovah all that openeth the matrix, being males; but all the firstborn
of my children I redeem.
Deut. 6
[20] And when thy son asks you in time to come, saying, What mean the testimonies, and the statutes, and the
judgments, which Yehovah our God had
commanded you?
[21] Then you shall say unto thy son, We were Pharaoh's bondmen in Egypt; and Yehovah brought us out of Egypt with a mighty hand:
[22]
And Yehovah showed signs and wonders,
great and sore, upon Egypt, upon Pharaoh, and upon all
his household, before our eyes:
[23]
And he brought us out from thence, that he might bring us in, to give us the
land which he sware unto our fathers.
[24]
And Yehovah commanded us to do all these statutes,
to fear Yehovah our God, for our good
always, that he might preserve us alive, as it is at this day.
[25]
And it shall be our righteousness, if we observe to do all these commandments
before Yehovah our God, as he had
commanded us.
Always,
watch out for the mixed multitude that may try
to join you
Exod. 12
[38] And a mixed multitude went up also with them; and
flocks, and herds, even very much cattle.
Num. 11
[4] And the mixt multitude that
was among them fell a lusting: and the children of Israel also wept
again, and said, Who shall give us flesh to eat?
Neh. 13
[3] Now it came to
pass, when they had heard the law, that they separated from Israel all the mixed multitude.
Come out and be separate
Rev. 18
[4]
And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come
out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins,
and that ye receive not of her plagues.
Separate
yourselves from
this world, be born from above, born of the water and spirit, born again, a New person!
John 3
[3] Yeshua ... said ... Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the
kingdom of Yehovah.
[5] Yeshua answered, verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a man be born
of water and of the Spirit, he cannot
enter into the kingdom of Yehovah.
[6]
That which is born of the flesh is flesh;and that
which is born of the Spirit is spirit.[7]
Marvel not that I said unto you, you must be born
again!
The New Covenant, Testament
Who was
the new covenant given to?
And what
is the new covenant?
Jer.31
[31] Behold, the
days come, said Yehovah, that I will make
a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:
[32] Not according
to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by
the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they (the
people) brake, although I was an husband unto them, said Yehovah:
[33] But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel;
[34] And they shall
teach no more every man his neighbour, and every
man his brother, saying, Know Yehovah: for they shall
all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, said Yehovah; for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will
remember their sin no more.
Paul
quotes Jer.31
Heb.8
[8] [8] For finding fault with them, (the people) he said, Behold,
the days come, said the Lord, when I will make a new
covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah:
[9] Not according
to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by
the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in
my covenant, and I regarded them not, said the Lord.
[10] For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of
Israel after those days, said the Lord; I
will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be
to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:
[11] And they shall
not teach every man his neighbour, and every man
his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to
the greatest.
[12] For I will be
merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I
remember no more.
Heb.12
[24] And
to Yeshua the mediator
of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling
Exod.24
[8] And Moses took
the blood, and sprinkled it on the people, and said, Behold the blood of the covenant, which Yehovah
had made with you concerning all these words
Heb.10
[14] For by one offering he had perfected for ever them that
are sanctified.
[15] Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said
before,
[16] This is the covenant that I will make with them after those
days, said the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds
will I write them;
[17] And
their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.
[18] Now where
remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin.
[19] Having
therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the
holiest by the blood of Yeshua,
[20] By a new and living way, which he had consecrated for
us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh;
[21] And having an high priest over the house of God;
[22] Let us draw
near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled
from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.
[23] Let us hold
fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful
that promised;)
[24] And let us
consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:
[25]
Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is;
but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
[26]
For if we sin wilfully after that we have
received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no
more sacrifice for sins,
[27] But a certain
fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the
adversaries.
[28] He that
despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:
[29] Of how much
sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who had trodden under foot the Son of God, and had counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith
he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and had done despite unto the Spirit of
grace?
[30] For we know
him that had said, Vengeance belongeth unto
me, I will recompense, said the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his
people.
[31] It is a
fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God
A new heart and a new spirit, a new creature
Ezek.11
[19] And I will
give them one heart, and I will put a new
spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their
flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh:
Ezek. 18
[31] Cast away from
you all your transgressions, whereby ye have transgressed; and make you a new heart and a new spirit: for why will ye die, O house of Israel?
Ezek. 36
[26] A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will
take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.
"a new man, a new woman"
[22] That ye
put off concerning the former conversation the
old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;
[23] And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;
[24]
And that ye put on the new man, which
after Yehovah is created in righteousness and true holiness.
Col. 3
[9] Lie not one to another, seeing that ye
have put off the old man with his deeds;
[10]
And have put on the new man, which is
renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:
2 Cor. 5
[17] Therefore if any man be in Messiah, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all
things are become new.
1 Pet. 1 [22] Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth
through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one
another with a pure heart fervently:
[23] Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of
incorruptible, by the word of Yehovah,
which liveth and abideth for
ever.
[24] For all flesh
is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away:
[25] But
the word of Yehovah endureth for
ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you.
Rev. 21
[5] And he
that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I
make all things new.
And he said unto
me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.
New
Jerusalem, new heavens and a new earth
Isa.65
[17] For,
behold, I create new heavens and a new earth:
and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into
mind.
Isa.66
[22] For as
the new heavens and the new earth,
which I will make,
shall remain before me, said Yehovah, so shall your
seed and your name remain.
2 Pet.3
[13] Nevertheless
we, according to his promise, look for new
heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.
Rev.3
[12] Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my
God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God,
and the name of the city of my God, which is new
Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write
upon him my new name.
Rev.21
[2] And I John saw
the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven,
prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
We will be changed, a new body, one day
Job.14
[14] If a man die,
shall he live again? all the days of my
appointed time will I wait, till my change come.
1Cor.15
[51] Behold,
I shew you a mystery; We
shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed
[52] In a moment,
in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and
the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we
shall be changed.
It
is very important to remember this
day, in which ye came out from Egypt, out of the house of bondage; for by
strength of hand Yehovah brought you out
from this place. - for us, our last live of sin
