1 Kgs.6 [1] And it came to pass in the four hundred and eightieth year after the children of Israel were come out of the land of Egypt, in the fourth year of Solomon's reign over Israel, in the month Zif, which is the second month, that he began to build the house of Yehovah.

Today is the 4th Sabbath of the seven Sabbaths we were told to count
We were told to count "Sabbaths" not omers.
An "omer" is a "sheaf" of barley - עמר omer - A dry measure of 1/10 ephah (about 2 liters)
Lev.23 [15] And you shall count unto you from the morrow after the Sabbath, from the day that you brought the sheaf of the wave offering; seven Sabbaths shall be complete:
[16] Even unto the morrow after the seventh Sabbath shall you number fifty days; and you shall offer a new meat offering unto Yehovah.
Our seven week journey we observe, in memorial to meet God again on Mt. Sinai to receive the commandments and receive the Spirit of God.
From slaves in Egypt (our last lives of sin) to the people of God
The giving of the Law (10 commandments) and the giving of the Holy Spirit
How are you be behaving these 50 days? (Physically and Spiritually)
Today’s Topic:
No other god
I was thinking today about all the
churches that don’t keep the 10 Commandments, and all the congregations that
don’t acknowledge Yeshua as the Word of God, which is God made in the flesh the
only means of salvation.
Who are they serving? No one
This took me back to this, the Words
in scripture:
[1]
And when the people saw that Moses delayed to come down out of the mount, the
people gathered themselves together unto Aaron, and said unto him, Up, make us
gods, which shall go before us; for as for this Moses, the man that brought us
up out of the land of Egypt, we don’t know what is become of him.
[2] And Aaron said unto them, Break off the golden earrings, which are
in the ears of your wives, of your sons, and of your daughters, and bring them
unto me.
[3] And all the people brake off the golden earrings which were in their
ears, and brought them unto Aaron.
[4] And he received them at their hand, and fashioned it with a graving
tool, after he had made it a molten calf: and they said, these be your gods,
O Israel, which brought you up out of the land of Egypt.
[5] And when Aaron saw it, he
built an altar before it; and Aaron made proclamation, and said, Tomorrow is a
feast to Yehovah.
[6]
And they rose up early on the morrow, and offered burnt offerings, and brought
peace offerings; and the people sat down to eat and to drink, and rose up to
play.
[7]
And Yehovah said unto Moses, Go, get you down; for your people, which you
brought out of the land of Egypt, have corrupted themselves:
[8] They have turned aside quickly out of the way which I commanded
them: they
have made them a molten calf, and have worshipped it, and have sacrificed
thereunto, and said, These be your gods, O Israel, which have brought you up
out of the land of Egypt.
[9]
And Yehovah said unto Moses, I have seen this people, and, behold, it is a stiff
necked people:
[10] Now therefore let me alone, that my wrath may wax hot against them,
and that I may consume them: and I will make of you a great nation.
[11] And Moses besought Yehovah his God, and said, Yehovah, why does your
wrath wax hot against your people, which you hast brought forth out of the land
of Egypt with great power, and with a mighty hand?
[12] Wherefore should the Egyptians speak, and say, for mischief did he
bring them out, to slay them in the mountains, and to consume them from the
face of the earth? Turn from your fierce wrath, and repent of this evil against
your people.
[13] Remember Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, your servants, to whom you swore
by your own self, and said unto them, I will multiply your seed as the stars of
heaven, and all this land that I have spoken of will I give unto your seed, and
they shall inherit it for ever.
[14] And Yehovah repented of the evil which he thought to do unto his
people.
[15] And Moses turned, and went down from the mount, and the two tables
of the testimony were in his hand: the tables were written on both their sides;
on the one side and on the other were they written.
[16] And the tables were the work of God, and the writing was the
writing of God, graven upon the tables.
[17] And when Joshua heard the noise of the people as they shouted, he
said unto Moses, There is a noise of war in the camp.
[18] And he said, it is not the voice of them that shout for mastery,
neither is it the voice of them that cry for being overcome: but the noise of
them that sing do I hear.
[19] And it came to pass, as soon as he came nigh unto the camp, that he
saw the calf, and the dancing: and Moses' anger waxed hot, and he cast the tables
out of his hands, and broke them beneath the mount.
[20] And he took the calf which they had made, and burnt it in the fire,
and ground it to powder, and strawed it upon the water, and made the children
of Israel drink of it.
[21] And Moses said unto Aaron, What did this people unto you, that you
hast brought so great a sin upon them?
[22] And Aaron said, Let not the anger of my lord wax hot: you know the
people, that they are set on mischief.
[23] For they said unto me, make us
gods, which shall go before us: for as for this Moses, the man that brought us
up out of the land of Egypt, we don’t know what is become of him.
[24] And I said unto them, whosoever had any gold, let them break it
off. So they gave it me: then I cast it into the fire, and there came out this
calf.
[25] And when Moses saw that the people were naked; (for Aaron had made
them naked unto their shame among their enemies:)
[26]
Then Moses stood in the gate of the camp, and said, Who is on Yehovah's side? Let him come unto me. And all the sons of
Levi gathered themselves together unto him.
[27] And he said unto them, Thus said Yehovah God of Israel, Put every
man his sword by his side, and go in and out from gate to gate throughout the
camp, and slay every man his brother, and every man his companion, and every
man his neighbor.
[28] And the children of Levi did according to the word of Moses: and
there fell of the people that day about three thousand men.
[29] For Moses had said, consecrate yourselves today to Yehovah, even
every man upon his son, and upon his brother; that he may bestow upon you a
blessing this day.
[30]
And it came to pass on the morrow, that Moses
said unto the people, You have sinned a great sin: and now I will go up unto Yehovah; peradventure I shall make an atonement for your sin.
[31] And Moses returned unto Yehovah, and said, Oh, this people
have sinned a great sin, and have made them gods of gold.
[32] Yet now, if you will
forgive their sin--; and if not, blot me, I pray you, out of your book which you
hast written.
[33]
And Yehovah said unto Moses, Whosoever hath sinned against me, him will I blot out of
my book.
[34] Therefore now go, lead the
people unto the place of which I have spoken unto you: behold, mine Angel shall
go before you: nevertheless in the day when I visit I will visit their sin upon
them.
[35]
And Yehovah plagued the people, because they made the calf, which Aaron made.

Meaning: Ashera = "groves
(for idol worship)" 1) a Babylonian (Astarte)-Canaanite goddess (of

[6] And the children of Israel did evil again in
the sight of Yehovah, and served Baalim, and Ashtaroth, and the
gods of Syria, and the gods of Zidon, and the gods of Moab, and the gods of the
children of Ammon, and the gods of the Philistines, and forsook
Yehovah, and served not him.
1Kgs.22
[51] Ahaziah the son of Ahab
began to reign over Israel in Samaria the seventeenth year of Jehoshaphat king
of Judah, and reigned two years over Israel.
[52] And he did
evil in the sight of Yehovah, and walked in the way of his father, and
in the way of his mother, and in the way of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made
Israel to sin:
[53] For he served
Baal, and worshipped him, and provoked to anger Yehovah God of Israel,
according to all that his father had done.
2Kgs.17
[12] For they served idols,
whereof Yehovah had said unto them, You shall not do this thing.
[13] Yet Yehovah testified against Israel, and against Judah, by all the
prophets, and by all the seers, saying, Turn you from your evil ways, and keep
my commandments and my statutes, according to all the law which I commanded
your fathers, and which I sent to you by my servants the prophets.
[14] Notwithstanding they would not hear, but hardened their necks, like
to the neck of their fathers, that did not believe in Yehovah their God.
[15] And they rejected his statutes, and his covenant that he made with
their fathers, and his testimonies which he testified against them; and they
followed vanity, and became vain, and went after the heathen that were round
about them, concerning whom Yehovah had charged them, that they should not do
like them.
[16] And they left
all the commandments of Yehovah their God, and made them molten images, even
two calves, and made a grove, and worshipped all the host of heaven, and served
Baal.
1Kgs.11
[1]
But king Solomon loved many strange women, together with the
daughter of Pharaoh, women of the Moabites, Ammonites, Edomites, Zidonians, and
Hittites;
[2] Of the nations concerning which Yehovah said unto the children of
Israel, Ye shall not go in to them, neither shall they come in unto you: for
surely they will turn away your heart after their gods: Solomon
clave unto these in love.
[3]
And he had seven hundred wives, princesses, and three hundred concubines: and
his wives turned away his heart.
[4] For it came to pass, when
Solomon was old, that his wives turned away his
heart after other gods: and his heart was not perfect with Yehovah his God, as was
the heart of David his father.
[5] For Solomon went after Ashtoreth the
goddess of the Zidonians, and after Milcom the abomination of the Ammonites.
מַלְכָּם Malkam {mal-kawm'}
or מִלְכּוֹם
Milkowm {mil-kome'}
Meaning: Milcom = "great king" 1) the god of the
Ammonites and Phoenicians to whom some Israelites sacrificed their infants in
the valley of Hinnom
[6] And Solomon did
evil in the sight of Yehovah, and went not fully after Yehovah, as did David
his father.
[7] Then did Solomon build a high
place for Chemosh, the abomination of Moab, in the hill that is before Jerusalem,
and for Molech, the abomination of the children of Ammon.
[8] And likewise did he for all his strange wives, which burnt incense and sacrificed unto their gods.
[9]
And Yehovah was angry with Solomon, because his
heart was turned from Yehovah God of Israel, which had appeared unto him twice,
[10] And had commanded him concerning this thing, that he should not
go after other gods: but he kept not that which Yehovah commanded.
[11]
Wherefore Yehovah said unto Solomon, Forasmuch as this is done of you, and you have not kept my covenant and my
statutes, which I have commanded you, I will surely rend the kingdom from you,
and will give it to your servant.
Rom.1
[1]
Paul, a servant of Yeshua the Messiah, called to be an apostle, separated unto
the gospel of God,
[2] (Which he had promised afore by his prophets in the holy
scriptures,)
[3] Concerning his Son Yeshua the Messiah our Lord, which was made of
the seed of David according to the flesh;
[4] And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit
of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead:
[5] By whom we have received grace and apostleship, for obedience to the
faith among all nations, for his name:
[6] Among whom are you also the called of Yeshua the Messiah:
[7] To all that be in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints: Grace
to you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Yeshua the Messiah.
[8] First, I thank my God through Yeshua the Messiah for you all, that
your faith is spoken of throughout the whole world.
[9] For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of
his Son, that without ceasing I make mention of you always in my prayers;
[10] Making request, if by any means now at length I might have a
prosperous journey by the will of God to come unto you.
[11] For I long to see you, that I may impart unto you some spiritual
gift, to the end you may be established;
[12] That is, that I may be comforted together with you by the mutual
faith both of you and me.
[13] Now I would not have you ignorant, brethren, that oftentimes I
purposed to come unto you, (but was let hitherto,) that I might have some fruit
among you also, even as among other Gentiles.
[14] I am debtor both to the Greeks, and to the Barbarians; both to the
wise, and to the unwise.
[15] So, as much as in me is, I am ready to preach the gospel to you
that are at Rome also.
[16] For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power
of God unto salvation to everyone that believes; to the Jew first, and also to
the Greek.
[17] For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to
faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.
[18]
For the wrath of God is revealed from
heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth
in unrighteousness;
[19] Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God
hath showed it unto them.
[20] For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are
clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal
power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
[21] Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God,
neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish
heart was darkened.
[22] Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,
[23] And changed the glory of the
incorruptible God into an image made
like to corruptible man, and to birds, and four footed beasts, and creeping
things.
[24]
Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonor
their own bodies between themselves:
[25] Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who
is blessed forever. Amen.
[26]
For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into
that which is against nature: Lesbians
[27]
And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned
in their lust one toward another; men with men working that
which is unseemly, (shameful) and receiving in themselves that recompense of
their error which was meet. Homosexual
Torah tells us:
Deut.22 [5] The woman shall
not wear that which pertains unto a man, neither shall a man put on
a woman's garment: for all that do so are abomination unto Yehovah your God.
Lev.18 [22]
You shall not lie with mankind,
as with womankind: it is abomination. [23] Neither shall you lie with any beast to
defile yourself therewith: neither shall any woman stand before a beast to lie
down thereto: it is
confusion.
Bestiality - sexual relations between
a human being and an animal - savagely
cruel or depraved, wicked behavior…

[28]
And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them
over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
[29] Being filled with:
all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness,
covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity;
whisperers,[30] Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters,
inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
[31] Without understanding, covenant breakers, without natural
affection, implacable, unmerciful:
[32] Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such
things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.
Matt.6 [24] No man can serve two masters: for
either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the
one, and despise the other.
Ye cannot serve God
and mammon. (treasures, riches, the world)
Yeshua
said:
[1] And God spoke all these words,
saying,
[2] I am Yehovah your God, which have brought you out of the land of
Egypt, out of the house of bondage.
[3]
You shall have no other gods before Me.
[4] You shall not
make unto you any graven image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven
above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the
earth:
[5] You shall not bow down yourself to
them, nor serve them:
For I Yehovah your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the
fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that
hate Me; (or any generation for that matter)
[6] And showing mercy unto thousands of
them that love Me, and keep My Commandments.
In closing for today:
Serve no other god, other doctrine etc…
