Shabbat Shalom
שַׁבָּת שָׁלוֹם
Today, we sadly use the Gregorian calendar from Pope Gregory; from the 1500’s.
Today is May 13, 2023
May - Maia's month L
Old
French Mai
Old English Maius
Latin Maius "of Maia"
Latin Maius mensis "month of Maia"
Maius has always had 31 days.
Maia (meaning "the great one") is the Italic goddess of spring, the daughter of Faunus, and wife of Vulcan.
The God of Israel has His own Calendar: Zif, which is the second month, day 22
Coming Feast of Weeks: a Sabbath - May 28, 2023
Feast of Weeks, Sunday a Sabbath - Hag Sh'vu-ot - חַג שָׁבֻעֹת
Feast of Harvest Hag ha katseer - חַג הַקָּצִיר
Pentecost πεντηκοστή - pentēkoste
Our seven week journey we observe, in memorial, spiritually to meet God again on Mt. Sinai, to receive the commandments and receive the Spirit of God.
From slaves in Egypt, (our last lives of sin) to the people of God and the giving of the Law, (10 commandments) and the giving of the Holy Spirit
We were told to count "Sabbaths" not omers.
An "omer" is a "sheaf" of barley - עמר omer - A dry measure of 1/10 ephah (about 2 liters)
Lev.23 [15] And you shall count unto you from the morrow after the Sabbath, from the day that you brought the sheaf of the wave offering; seven Sabbaths shall be complete:
[16] Even unto the morrow after the seventh Sabbath shall you number fifty days; and you shall offer a new meat offering unto Yehovah.
This
Sabbath is the fifth Sabbath of the seven Sabbaths we were told to count.
Today’s Topic:
Nor did they inquired for Yehovah God
Other
gods (male and female)
A question:
So why do we attend this congregation?
Things our congregation looks for with people we
meet, if they:
If they: Keep the 4th commandment – Sabbath (and the rest of the
commandments)
If they: Observe new moon, how and when?
If they: Keep the 3 feasts of Yehovah, how to do them
and with the understanding of Yeshua in them.
If they: keep
the other 7 Sabbaths of the 3 feasts
If they: Keep the food laws – clean and unclean
If they: Have the correct Bible version – KJV and the correct doctrine
If they: observe and keep the ordinances and
understand the judgments
I did many studies in the past pertaining to this,
they are on my website.
There are lists of possibilities for you to decide where to
attend or not to attend.
Just to mention a few churches with different gods:
Catholic, Judaism, Protestant congregations, churches and any religion for that matter with another god or gods.
Then
we have the many Messianic congregations which are all different and don’t agree with each other…
This
eliminates most places to attend already.
They
all have:
Wrong
doctrines, wrong gods
(female or male), no 4th commandment Sabbath, wrong
Bible versions, wrong made
up Hebrew words used, wrong
dates for feasts or wrong
ways to observe the feasts, wrong
way of the new moon sightings, wrong
websites, wrong social
media platforms…
This
is just some of the things we have to deal with all the time.
Yeshua said:
Pss.16 [4] Their sorrows shall be multiplied
that hasten after another god: their drink offerings of blood will I not offer, nor take up
their names into my lips.

will cut off man from off the land, said Yehovah.

will also stretch out mine hand upon Judah, and upon all the
inhabitants of Jerusalem; and I
will cut off the remnant of Baal from this place, and the name of the Chemarims with the priests;
[5] And them that worship the
host of heaven upon the housetops; and them that worship and that swear by Yehovah, and that swear by Malcham;

Unbelief
Matt.13 [58] And
he did not many mighty works there because of their unbelief.
Matt.17 [20] And Yeshua said unto them, Because of
your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If
ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain,
Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be
impossible unto you.
Mark 6 [6] And
he marvelled because of their unbelief.
And he went round about the villages, teaching.
Mark 9 [24] And
straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I
believe; help thou mine unbelief.
Mark 16 [14] Afterward he
appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat, and upbraided them with their unbelief and
hardness of heart, because they believed not them which had seen him after he
was risen.
Rom.3 [3] For
what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make
the faith of God without effect?
Rom.4 [20] He staggered
not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in
faith, giving glory to God…
Rom.11 [20] Well;
because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith.
[23] And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief,
shall be grafted in: for God is able to graff
them in again.
[30] For as you in times past have not believed God, yet
have now obtained mercy through their unbelief:
[21] For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed
lest he also spare not thee.
[22] Behold
therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but
toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also
shall be cut off.
[32] For God hath concluded them all in unbelief,
that he might have mercy upon all.
Heb.3 [12] Take heed,
brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in
departing from the living God.
[19] So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.
Heb.4 [6] Seeing
therefore it remains that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was
first preached entered not in because of unbelief:
[11] Let us labor therefore to enter into that rest, lest
any man fall after the same example of unbelief
Unbelieving
Acts 14 [2] But the unbelieving Jews
stirred up the Gentiles, and made their minds evil affected against the
brethren.
Tit.1 [15] Unto
the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is
nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled.
Rev.21 [8] But
the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers,
and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their
part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
John 3 [18] He that believeth
on him is not condemned: but he that
believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in
the name of the only begotten Son of God.
Other gods
Exod.20 [3] You
shall have no other gods before me.
Exod.23 [13] And
in all things that I have said unto you be circumspect: and make no mention of
the name of other gods, neither let it be heard out of your mouth.
Deut.5 [7] You
shall have none other gods before me.
Deut.6 [14] You shall not go after other gods, of the gods of the people which are round about you;
[15] (For Yehovah your God is a jealous God among you) lest the anger of Yehovah your God be kindled against you, and destroy you from off the face of the earth.
Deut.7 [1] When Yehovah your God shall bring you into
the land whither you goes to possess it, and hath cast out many nations before
you, the Hittites, and the Girgashites,
and the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Perizzites,
and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, seven nations greater
and mightier than you;
[2] And when Yehovah
your God shall deliver them before you; you shall smite them, and utterly
destroy them; you shall make no covenant with them, nor show mercy unto them:
[3] Neither shall you make marriages with them; your daughter you shall
not give unto his son, nor his daughter shall you take unto your son.
[4] For they will turn away your son from following me that
they may serve other gods: so will the anger of Yehovah be kindled against you, and
destroy you suddenly.
[5] But thus shall you deal with them; you shall destroy
their altars, and break down their images, and cut down their groves, and burn
their graven images with fire.
[6] For you are a holy people unto Yehovah
your God: Yehovah your God hath chosen
you to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the
face of the earth.
Deut.8 [18] But you shall remember Yehovah your God: for it is he that gives you power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he swore unto your fathers, as it is this day.
[19] And it shall be, if you do at all forget Yehovah your God, and walk after other gods, and serve them, and worship them, I testify against you this day that you shall surely perish.
[20] As the nations which Yehovah destroyed before your face, so shall you perish; because you would not be obedient unto the voice of Yehovah your God.
Deut.11 [16] Take heed to yourselves, that your heart be not deceived, and you turn aside, and serve other gods, and worship them;
[17] And then Yehovah's
wrath be kindled against you, and he shut up the heaven, that there be no rain,
and that the land yield not her fruit; and lest you perish quickly from off the
good land which Yehovah
gives you.
[18] Therefore shall you lay up these my words in your
heart and in your soul, and bind them for a sign upon your hand, that they may
be as frontlets between your eyes.
[19] And you shall teach them your children, speaking of them when you
sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when
you rise up.
[20] And you shall write them upon the door posts of your house, and
upon your gates:
[21] That your days may be multiplied, and the days of your children, in
the land which Yehovah
swore unto your fathers to give them, as the days of heaven upon the earth.
[22] For if you shall diligently keep all these commandments which I
command you, to do them, to love Yehovah
your God, to walk in all his ways, and to cleave unto him;
[23] Then will Yehovah
drive out all these nations from before you, and you shall possess greater
nations and mightier than yourselves.
[24] Every place where on the soles of your feet shall tread shall be yours:
from the wilderness and Lebanon, from the river, the river Euphrates, even unto
the uttermost sea shall your coast be.
[25] There shall no man be able to stand before you: for Yehovah your God shall lay the fear of
you and the dread of you upon all the land that you shall tread upon, as he
hath said unto you.
[26] Behold, I set before you this day a blessing and a curse;
[27] A blessing, if you obey the commandments of Yehovah your God, which I command you
this day:
[28] And a curse, if you will not obey the commandments of Yehovah your God, but turn aside out
of the way which I command you this day, to go after other gods,
which you have not known.
Deut.13 [1] If there arise among you a prophet, or a dreamer of dreams, and gives you a sign or a wonder,
[2] And the sign or the wonder come to pass, whereof he
spoke unto you, saying, Let us go after other gods, which you hast
not known, and let us serve them;
[3] You shall not hearken unto the words of that prophet,
or that dreamer of dreams: for Yehovah
your God proves you, to know whether you love Yehovah
your God with all your heart and with all your soul.
[4] You shall walk after Yehovah
your God, and fear him, and keep his commandments, and obey his voice, and you
shall serve him, and cleave unto him.
[5] And that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams, shall be put to death;
because he hath spoken to turn you away from Yehovah
your God, which brought you out of the land of Egypt, and redeemed you out of
the house of bondage, to thrust you out of the way which Yehovah your God commanded you to walk
in. So shall you put the evil away from the midst of you.
[6] If your brother, the son of your mother, or your son, or your daughter, or the wife of your bosom, or your friend, which is as your own soul, entice you secretly, saying, Let us go and serve other gods, which you hast not known, you, nor your fathers;
[7] Namely, of the gods of the people which are round about
you, nigh unto you, or far off from you, from the one end of the earth even
unto the other end of the earth;
[8] You shall not consent unto him, nor hearken unto him; neither shall
your eye pity him, neither shall you spare, neither shall you conceal him:
[9] But you shall surely kill him; your hand shall be first upon him to
put him to death, and afterwards the hand of all the people.
[10] And you shall stone
him with stones, that he die; because he hath sought to thrust you away from Yehovah your God, which brought you
out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage.
[11] And all Israel shall hear, and fear, and shall do no more any such
wickedness as this is among you.
[12] If you shall hear say in one of your cities, which Yehovah your God hath given you to
dwell there, saying,
[13] Certain men, the children of Belial, are gone out from among you, and have withdrawn the inhabitants of their city, saying, Let us go and serve other gods, which you have not known;
[14] Then shall you inquire, and make search, and ask
diligently; and, behold, if it be truth, and the thing certain, that such
abomination is wrought among you;
[15] You shall surely smite the inhabitants of that city with the edge
of the sword, destroying it utterly, and all that is therein, and the cattle
thereof, with the edge of the sword.
Deut.17 [1] You
shall not sacrifice unto Yehovah
your God any bullock, or sheep, wherein is blemish, or any evil favor: for that
is an abomination unto Yehovah
your God.
[2] If there be found among you, within any of your gates which Yehovah your God gives you, man or
woman, that hath wrought wickedness in the sight of Yehovah
your God, in transgressing his covenant,
[3] And had gone and served other gods, and
worshipped them, either the sun, or moon, or any of the host of heaven, which I
have not commanded;
[4] And it be told you, and you hast heard of it, and
inquired diligently, and, behold, it be true, and the thing certain, that such
abomination is wrought in Israel:
[5] Then shall you bring forth that man or that woman, which have
committed that wicked thing, unto your gates, even that man or that woman, and
shall stone them with stones, till they die.
Deut.18 [20] But
the prophet, which shall presume to speak a word in my name, which I have not
commanded him to speak, or that shall speak in the name of other gods,
even that prophet shall die.
Deut.28 [14] And you
shall not go aside from any of the words which I command you this day, to the
right hand, or to the left, to go after other gods to serve
them.
[36] Yehovah shall
bring you, and your king which you shall set over you, unto a nation which
neither you nor your fathers have known; and there shall you serve other
gods, wood and stone.
[64] And Yehovah
shall scatter you among all people, from the one end of the earth even unto the
other; and there you shall serve other gods, which neither you nor
your fathers have known, even wood and stone.
Deut.29 [25] Then men shall say, Because they have forsaken the
covenant of the LORD God of their fathers, which he made with them when he
brought them forth out of the land of Egypt: [26] For they went and served other gods, and
worshipped them, gods whom they knew not, and whom he had not given unto them:
[27] And the anger of Yehovah was kindled against
this land, to bring upon it all the curses that are written in this book:
[28] And Yehovah rooted them out of
their land in anger, and in wrath, and in great indignation, and cast them into
another land, as it is this day.
Deut.30 [17] But if your
heart turn away, so that you will not hear, but shall be drawn away, and
worship other gods, and serve them; [18] I denounce unto you this day, that ye shall
surely perish, and that ye shall not prolong your days upon the land, whither
thou passest over Jordan to
go to possess it.
[19] I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have
set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed
may live:
Deut.31 [18] And I will
surely hide my face in that day for all the evils which they shall have
wrought, in that they are turned unto other gods.
[20] For when I shall have brought them into the land which
I swore unto their fathers, that flows with milk and honey; and they shall have
eaten and filled themselves, and waxen fat; then will they turn unto other
gods, and serve them, and provoke me, and break my covenant.
Gods of
Exod.12 [12] For I will
pass through the land of Egypt this night, and will smite all the firstborn in
the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment: I
am Yehovah.
Exod.20 [23] You
shall not make with me gods of silver, neither shall you make unto you gods of gold.
Exod.32 [31] And Moses
returned unto Yehovah,
and said, Oh, this people have sinned a great sin, and have made them gods
of gold.
Deut.6 [14] You
shall not go after other gods, of
the gods of the people
which are round about you;
Deut.13 [6] If your brother, the son of your mother, or your son, or your daughter, or the wife of your bosom, or your friend, which is as your own soul, entice you secretly, saying, Let us go and serve other gods, which you hast not known, you, nor your fathers;
[7] Namely, of the gods of the people which are round about you,
nigh unto you, or far off from you, from the one end of the earth even unto the
other end of the earth;
Deut.29 [14] Neither with
you only do I make this covenant and this oath;
[15] But with him that stands here with us this day before Yehovah our God, and also with him
that is not here with us this day:
[16] (For you know how we have dwelt in the land of Egypt; and how we
came through the nations which you passed by;
[17] And you have seen their abominations, and their idols, wood and
stone, silver and gold, which were among them:)
[18] Lest there should be among you man, or woman, or family, or tribe,
whose heart turns away this day from Yehovah
our God, to go and serve the gods of these nations; lest there should be among you a root that bears
gall and wormwood;
[19] And it come to pass, when he hears the words of this curse that he bless himself in his heart, saying, I shall have peace, though I walk in the imagination of mine heart, to add drunkenness to thirst:
[20] Yehovah will
not spare him, but then the anger of Yehovah
and his jealousy shall smoke against that man, and all the curses that are
written in this book shall lie upon him, and Yehovah
shall blot out his name from under heaven.
Deut.31 [16] And Yehovah said unto Moses, Behold, you shall sleep with your fathers; and
this people will rise up, and go a whoring after the gods of the strangers of the land, whither they
go to be among them, and will forsake me, and break my covenant which I have
made with them.
Num.5 [14] And the spirit of jealousy come upon him…
1 John 4 [1] Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits
whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the
world.
[2] Hereby know you the Spirit of God:
Every spirit that confesses that Yeshua the Messiah is come in
the flesh is of God:
[3] And every spirit that confesses not that Yeshua the Messiah is come in
the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof you have heard
that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
[6] We are of God: he that knows God hears us; he that is
not of God hears not us. Hereby know we the spirit
of truth, and the spirit of error.
Exod.12 all the gods of Egypt…
Exod.20 [23] Ye shall not
make with me gods of silver,
neither shall ye make unto you gods of gold.
Judg. 10 … served Baalim, and Ashtaroth, and the gods of Syria,
and the gods of Zidon, and the gods of Moab, and the gods of the
children of Ammon, and the gods of the Philistines…
2Kgs.17 [29] Howbeit every nation made gods of their
own, and put them in the houses of the high places which the Samaritans had
made, every nation in their cities wherein they dwelt.
[31] And the Avites made Nibhaz and Tartak, and the Sepharvites burnt their children in fire to Adrammelech and Anammelech, the gods of Sepharvaim.
2Kgs.18 [33] Had any of the gods
of the nations delivered at all his land out of the hand of the king
of Assyria?
[34] Where are the gods of Hamath, and of Arpad? where
are the gods of Sepharvaim, Hena, and Ivah? …
2Chr.25 [14] the gods of the children of Seir, and set them up to be
his gods, and bowed down himself before them, and burned incense unto them.
[20] the gods
of Edom.
2Chr.28 [23] gods of Damascus, the gods of the
kings of Syria
1Cor. 8[4] As concerning therefore the eating of those things that are offered in sacrifice unto idols, we know that an idol is nothing in the world, and that there is none other God but one.
[5] For though there be that are called gods,
whether in heaven or in earth, (as there be gods many, and lords many,)
[6] But to us there is but one God, the Father, of
whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all
things, and we by him.
[7] Howbeit
there is not in every man that knowledge…
In closing for today:
There are just too many false gods to talk
about L Beware
Stay with the God of Israel in Scripture who created the heavens, the earth, the seas and everthing.
