----------
God’s calendar
We are now in the 9th month, 10th day of God called Kislev in Hebrew
Zech. 7 [1] And it came to pass in the fourth year of king Darius,
that the word of the LORD came unto Zechariah in the fourth day of the ninth month, even in Chisleu,
---------------------------------
Question:
Why are we here today?
---------
Answer:
We were told to remember
the Sabbath Day to keep it holy
---------
The 4th Commandment, the Sabbath, is a part of the covenant given to us at
mount Sinai
Exod.
20
[8]
Remember the sabbath
day, to keep it holy.
[9] Six days shalt thou labour,
and do all thy work:
[10] But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD
thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor
thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle,
nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:
[11] For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in
them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

Woe unto them that are wise in their own

strength to mingle strong drink: [23] Which justify
the wicked for reward, and take away the righteousness of the righteous from

Many people
are selling dead trees for pagan Christmas
already in Nov. to the gentiles
I know this is about idols, but...
Jer. 10 [1] Hear ye the word which the LORD speaketh
unto you, O house of Israel:
[2] Thus saith the LORD, Learn not the way of
the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are
dismayed at them.
[3] For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth
a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe.
[4] They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails
and with hammers, that it move not.
[5] They are upright as the palm tree, but speak not: they must needs be borne, because they cannot go. Be not afraid
of them; for they cannot do evil, neither also is it in them to do good.
I digress…

A short recap
of false love, feelings and emotions - Beware!
Halloween - Also
called All Hallows Eve, All Saints' Eve, Samhain,
Hallowed End
Halloween started 2,000 years ago in Celtic Ireland, which is now Great Britain , France , and Ireland . The Celtic New Year was
celebrated on November 1 st . New Years Eve, or All Hallows Eve, was called “Samhain.”
All
Hallows Eve is the name from which Halloween originated. Samhain
was the most important holiday of the year. On this day summer officially
ended, and it was believed that spirits of people who had died that year came
back to the world of the living looking for a body to possess for the following
year.
On
Samhain all of the people who lived in Celtic Ireland
would put out their hearth fires in order to frighten the spirits. The town
would also have a noisy parade and ghoulish costumes would be worn to scare
away the spirits from possessing someone's body

Thanksgiving
George
Washington proclaimed a National Day of Thanksgiving in

-----------------
Kwanzaa - Ron Karenga
(aka Dr. Maulana Ron Karenga)
invented the seven-day feast, Dec. 26-Jan. 1,
in 1966, branding
it a black alternative to Christmas.
The idea was to celebrate the end of what he considered the
Christmas-season exploitation of African Americans.
---------------
Christmas - Once Upon A Time, Christmas Was Banned in 1659 in America
The following is a quote from the Encyclopedia Britannica, Volume
11; page 390.
"During
the later periods of Roman history, sun worship gained in importance and
ultimately led to what has been called a 'solar monotheism.'
Nearly
all the gods of the period were possessed of Solar
qualities, and both Christ and Mithra acquired the
traits of solar deities.
The
feast of Sol and Victus (open unconquered Sun) on
December 25th was celebrated with great joy, and eventually this date was taken
over by the Christians as Christmas, the birthday of Christ.
The
Christians were trying to get more converts so they adapted a pagan holiday to
their worship to appease the pagans in 336 AD.
---------------
The Encyclopedia Britannica reports that "The traditional customs
connected with Christmas have developed from several sources as a result of the
coincidence of the celebration of the birth of Christ with the pagan
agricultural and solar observations at midwinter.
In
the Roman world the Saturnalia (December 17) was a time of merrymaking and
exchange of gifts.
December
25 was also regarded as the birth date of the Iranian mystery god Mithra, the Sun of Righteousness."
---------------
Colliers Encyclopedia agrees. Quote: "After the triumph of Constantine,
the church at Rome assigned December 25 as the date for the celebration of the feast,
possibly about A.D. 320 or 353.
By
the end of the fourth century the whole Christian world was celebrating
Christmas on that day, with the exception of the Eastern churches, where it was
celebrated on January 6.
The
choice of December 25 was probably influenced by the fact that on this day the
Romans celebrated the Mithraic feast of the Sun-god (natalis solis invicti),
and that the Saturnalia also came at this time."
---------------
Both encyclopedias plainly reveal that the source of the celebration
of December 25 is the birthday of Mithra, the pagan
sun god.
Sun worshippers since the time of Babel recognized this time of
year in honor of their pagan gods.
1st
century believers, taught personally by Christ, did not celebrate His birthday.
2nd
century theologians condemned the thought.
Only
after severe persecution, destruction and inaccessibility of biblical scripture
and the blending of pagan doctrine with the worship of God was the Mithraic celebration of December 25th proclaimed to be
"Christian" in nature.
These facts are well documented. They can be found in any
encyclopedia.
There
is no way to "Christianize" the birthday of the sun god.
Anyone
with access to a computer or encyclopedia can know better than those with
so-called theological degrees.

2 Thes. 3 [13]
But ye, brethren, be not weary in well doing.
Prov.
23 [17] Let not thine heart envy
sinners: but be thou in the fear of the LORD all the day long. [18] For surely there is an end; and thine
expectation shall not be cut off.
2 Cor. 4 [1] Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not;
[2]
But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness,
nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth
commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God.
[3] But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:
[4] In whom the god of this world (Satan) hath
blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious
gospel of Messiah, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
[5] For we preach not ourselves, but Messiah Yeshua
the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake.

Baal and Ashtaroth.
Judg. 10 [6 ] And the children of Israel did evil again
in the sight of the LORD, and served Baalim, and Ashtaroth, and the gods of Syria, and the gods of Zidon, and the gods of Moab, and the gods of the children
of Ammon, and the gods of the Philistines, and
forsook the LORD, and served not him.

be not lifted up above his brethren, and that he turn not aside from the
commandment, to the right hand, or to the left: to the end that he may prolong
his days in his kingdom, he, and his children, in the midst of Israel. ( Deut. 17:19, 20 above )
"2": And he said unto his mother, The eleven
hundred shekels of silver that were taken from thee, about which thou cursedst, and spakest of also in
mine ears, behold, the silver is with me; I took it. And his mother said, Blessed be thou of the LORD, my son.
"3": And when he had restored the eleven hundred shekels of silver to
his mother, his mother said, I had wholly dedicated the silver unto the LORD
from my hand for my son, to make a graven image and a molten image: now
therefore I will restore it unto thee.
"4": Yet he restored the money unto his mother; and his mother took
two hundred shekels of silver, and gave them to the founder, who made thereof a
graven image and a molten image: and they were in the house of Micah.
"5": And the man Micah had an house of gods,
and made an ephod, and teraphim, and consecrated one
of his sons, who became his priest.

2 Kgs. 22 - Josiah, good, 639-608 BC
[2] And he did that which was right in the sight of the LORD
, and walked in all the way of David his father, and turned not aside to
the right hand or to the left.
[3] And it came to pass in the eighteenth year of king Josiah , that the king
sent Shaphan the son of Azaliah,
the son of Meshullam, the scribe, to the house of the
LORD, saying,
[4] Go up to Hilkiah the high priest, that he may sum
the silver which is brought into the house of the LORD, which the keepers of
the door have gathered of the people:
[5] And let them deliver it into the hand of the doers of the work, that have
the oversight of the house of the LORD: and let them give it to the doers of
the work which is in the house of the LORD, to repair the breaches of the
house,
[6] Unto carpenters, and builders, and masons, and to buy timber and hewn stone
to repair the house.
[7] Howbeit there was no reckoning made with them of the money that was
delivered into their hand, because they dealt faithfully.
[8] And Hilkiah the high
priest said unto Shaphan the scribe, I have found the book of the law (Torah) ñÅôÆø äÇúÌåÉøÈä in the house of the LORD. And Hilkiah gave the book
to Shaphan, and he read it.
[9] And Shaphan the scribe
came to the king, and brought the king word again, and said, Thy servants have
gathered the money that was found in the house, and have delivered it into the
hand of them that do the work, that have the oversight of the house of the
LORD.
[10] And Shaphan the scribe shewed
the king, saying, Hilkiah the priest hath delivered
me a book. And Shaphan read it before the king.
[11] And it came to pass, when the king had heard the words of the book of the
law, that he rent his clothes.
[12] And the king commanded Hilkiah the priest, and Ahikam the son of Shaphan, and Achbor the son of Michaiah, and Shaphan the scribe, and Asahiah a
servant of the king's, saying,
[13] Go ye, inquire of the LORD for me, and for the people, and for all Judah,
concerning the words of this book that is found: for great is the wrath of the
LORD that is kindled against us, because our fathers have not hearkened unto
the words of this book, to do according unto all that which is written
concerning us.
[14] So Hilkiah the priest, and Ahikam,
and Achbor, and Shaphan,
and Asahiah, went unto Huldah
the prophetess, the wife of Shallum the son of Tikvah, the son of Harhas, keeper
of the wardrobe; (now she dwelt in Jerusalem in the college;) and they communed
with her.
[15] And she said unto them, Thus saith the LORD God
of Israel, Tell the man that sent you to me,
[16] Thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will bring evil
upon this place, and upon the inhabitants thereof, even all the words of the
book which the king of Judah hath read:
[17] Because they have forsaken me, and have burned incense unto other gods,
that they might provoke me to anger with all the works of their hands;
therefore my wrath shall be kindled against this place, and shall not be
quenched.
[18] But to the king of Judah which sent you to inquire of the LORD, thus shall
ye say to him, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, As
touching the words which thou hast heard;
[19] Because thine heart was tender, and thou hast
humbled thyself before the LORD, when thou heardest
what I spake against this place, and against the
inhabitants thereof, that they should become a desolation and a curse, and hast
rent thy clothes, and wept before me; I also have heard thee, saith the LORD.
[20] Behold therefore, I will gather thee unto thy fathers, and thou shalt be gathered into thy grave in peace; and thine eyes shall not see all the evil which I will bring
upon this place. And they brought the king word again.
