Today’s Topic:
Our God is
forgotten
Scripture tells us:
Deut.4 [2] You shall not
add unto the word which I command you, neither shall you diminish
ought from it, that you may keep the commandments of Yehovah your
God which I command you.
Deut.12 [32] What thing
so ever I command you, observe to do it: you shall not
add thereto, nor diminish from
it.
Prov.30 [6] Add
not unto His words, lest He reprove thee, and you be found a liar.
We are in the 21 century today.
Why are we using the Pope
Gregory Calendar from the 1500’s?
Sadly the Gregorian
calendar is the calendar used
in most parts of the world.
Here are some samples of what we are taught from our youth:
Our Gregorian calendar:
January - Janus's month
Latin Januarius
"of Janus"
Latin Janu(s) "Janus" + -arius "ary (pertaining to)"
Latin Januarius mensis

Janus is the Roman god of
gates and doorways, depicted with two faces looking in opposite directions. His
festival month is January.
Januarius had 29
days, until Julius when it became 31 days long.
February - month of Februa
Latin Februarius
mensis "month of Februa"
Latin dies februatus "day of purification"
Februarius had 28 days, until circa 450 BC when it had 23 or 24 days on some of
every second year, until Julius when it had 29 days on every fourth year and 28
days otherwise.
Februa is the Roman festival of purification, held on February fifteenth. It is possibly of
Sabine origin.
March - Mars' month

original beginning of the year, and the time

As you can see, most name come from pagan gods.
God said:
Gen.1 [14] And God said let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide
the day from the night; and let them be
for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:
[15]
And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light
upon the earth: and it was so.
[16]
And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and
the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also
[17]
And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth,
[18]
And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the
