שַׁבָּת שָׁלוֹם

Today is June 14, 2025

June -Juno's month
Latin Junius mensis "month of Juno"

Junius had 30 days, until Numa when it had 29 days, until Julius when it became 30 days long.

Juno is the principle goddess of the Roman Pantheon. She is the goddess of marriage and the well-being of women. She is the wife and sister of Jupiter. She is identified with the Greek goddess Hera.

God’s calendar

We are now in the third month of God called Sivan 17th day   סִיוָן

Today’s topic

Power of God

I am just giving you a few verses; you may have to read the whole chapter…

Some of the Power and wrath of God:

I will start with this power:

Gen.1 [1] In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

Jude

[5] I will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, how that Yehovah, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not.

[6] And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.

[7] Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.

2 Peter 2

[4] For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;
[5] And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly;
[6] And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly;
[7] And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked:
[8] (For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds;)
[9] Yehovah knows how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:

Isa 14- the devil was cast out of heaven

[12] How are you fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how are you cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!
[13] For you have said in your heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:
[14] I will ascend above the heights of the clouds;

I will be like the most High.

[15] Yet you shall be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.
[16] They that see you shall narrowly look upon you, and consider you, saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms;
[17] That made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof; that opened not the house of his prisoners?
[18] All the kings of the nations, even all of them, lie in glory, every one in his own house.
[19] But you are cast out of your grave like an abominable branch, and as the raiment of those that are slain, thrust through with a sword, that go down to the stones of the pit; as a carcase trodden under feet.
[20] You shall not be joined with them in burial, because you have destroyed your land, and slain your people: the seed of evildoers shall never be renowned.

Ezek.28

[13] You have been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was your covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of your tabrets and of your pipes was prepared in you in the day that you was created.
[14] You are the anointed cherub that covers; and I have set your so: you were upon the holy mountain of God; you have walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.

[15] You were perfect in your ways from the day that you were created until iniquity was found in you.

[16] By the multitude of your merchandise they have filled the midst of you with violence, and you have sinned: therefore I will cast you as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy you, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.

[16] By the multitude of your merchandise they have filled the midst of you with violence, and you have sinned: therefore I will cast you as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy you, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.

[17] Your heart was lifted up because of your beauty, you have corrupted your wisdom by reason of your brightness: I will cast you to the ground, I will lay you before kings, that they may behold you.

[18] You have defiled your sanctuaries by the multitude of your iniquities, by the iniquity of your traffic; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of you, it shall devour you, and I will bring you to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold you.
[19] All they that know you among the people shall be astonished at you: you shall be a terror, and never shall you be any more.

Rev.12 [9] And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceives the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

Gen.6 a worldwide flood

[1] And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them,
[2] That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.
[3] And Yehovah said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.

[4] There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.

[5] And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.
[6] And it repented Yehovah that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.

[7] And Yehovah said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.

[8] But Noah found grace in the eyes of Yehovah.
[9] These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God.
[10] And Noah begat three sons, Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
[11] The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence.
[12] And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth.
[13] And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.
[14] Make you an ark of gopher wood; rooms shall you make in the ark, and shall pitch it within and without with pitch.
[15] And this is the fashion which you shall make it of: The length of the ark shall be three hundred cubits, the breadth of it fifty cubits, and the height of it thirty cubits.
[16] A window shall you make to the ark, and in a cubit shall you finish it above; and the door of the ark shall you set in the side thereof; with lower, second, and third stories shall you make it.

[17] And, behold, I, even I, do bring a flood of waters upon the earth, to destroy all flesh, wherein is the breath of life, from under heaven; and every thing that is in the earth shall die.

[18] But with you will I establish my covenant; and you shall come into the ark, you, and your sons, and your wife, and your sons' wives with you.
[19] And of every living thing of all flesh, two of every sort shall you bring into the ark, to keep them alive with you; they shall be male and female.
[20] Of fowls after their kind, and of cattle after their kind, of every creeping thing of the earth after his kind, two of every sort shall come unto you, to keep them alive.
[21] And take you unto you of all food that is eaten, and you shall gather it to you; and it shall be for food for you, and for them.
[22] Thus did Noah; according to all that God commanded him, so did he.

Gen.19 Sodom and Gomorrah

[1] And there came two angels to Sodom at even; and Lot sat in the gate of Sodom: and Lot seeing them rose up to meet them; and he bowed himself with his face toward the ground;
[2] And he said, Behold now, my lords, turn in, I pray you, into your servant's house, and tarry all night, and wash your feet, and ye shall rise up early, and go on your ways. And they said, Nay; but we will abide in the street all night.
[3] And he pressed upon them greatly; and they turned in unto him, and entered into his house; and he made them a feast, and did bake unleavened bread, and they did eat.
[4] But before they lay down, the men of the city, even the men of Sodom, compassed the house round, both old and young, all the people from every quarter:
[5] And they called unto Lot, and said unto him, Where are the men which came in to you this night? bring them out unto us, that we may know them.
[6] And Lot went out at the door unto them, and shut the door after him,
[7] And said, I pray you, brethren, do not so wickedly.
[8] Behold now, I have two daughters which have not known man; let me, I pray you, bring them out unto you, and do ye to them as is good in your eyes: only unto these men do nothing; for therefore came they under the shadow of my roof.
[9] And they said, Stand back. And they said again, This one fellow came in to sojourn, and he will needs be a judge: now will we deal worse with you, than with them. And they pressed sore upon the man, even Lot, and came near to break the door.
[10] But the men put forth their hand, and pulled Lot into the house to them, and shut to the door.
[11] And they smote the men that were at the door of the house with blindness, both small and great: so that they wearied themselves to find the door.
[12] And the men said unto Lot, Hast you here any besides? son in law, and your sons, and your daughters, and whatsoever you have in the city, bring them out of this place:

[13] For we will destroy this place, because the cry of them is waxen great before the face of Yehovah; and Yehovah had sent us to destroy it.
[14] And Lot went out, and spake unto his sons in law, which married his daughters, and said, Up, get you out of this place; for Yehovah will destroy this city. But he seemed as one that mocked unto his sons in law.
[15] And when the morning arose, then the angels hastened Lot, saying, Arise, take your wife, and your two daughters, which are here; lest you be consumed in the iniquity of the city.
[16] And while he lingered, the men laid hold upon his hand, and upon the hand of his wife, and upon the hand of his two daughters; Yehovah being merciful unto him: and they brought him forth, and set him without the city.
[17] And it came to pass, when they had brought them forth abroad, that he said, Escape for your life; look not behind you, neither stay you in all the plain; escape to the mountain, lest you be consumed.
[18] And Lot said unto them, Oh, not so, my Lord:
[19] Behold now, your servant hath found grace in your sight, and you have magnified your mercy, which you have shewed unto me in saving my life; and I cannot escape to the mountain, lest some evil take me, and I die:
[20] Behold now, this city is near to flee unto, and it is a little one: Oh, let me escape thither, (is it not a little one?) and my soul shall live.
[21] And he said unto him, See, I have accepted you concerning this thing also, that I will not overthrow this city, for the which you have spoken.
[22] Haste you, escape thither; for I cannot do anything untill you be come thither. Therefore the name of the city was called Zoar.

[23] The sun was risen upon the earth when Lot entered into Zoar.

[24] Then Yehovah rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from Yehovah out of heaven;
[25] And he overthrew those cities, and all the plain, and all the inhabitants of the cities, and that which grew upon the ground.

[26] But his wife looked back from behind him, and she became a pillar of salt.

Pss.78 [31] The wrath of God came upon them, and slew the fattest of them, and smote down the chosen men of Israel.

Rev.14

[9] And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, [10] The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:

[19] And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God.

Rev.15

[1] And I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvellous, seven angels having the seven last plagues; for in them is filled up the wrath of God.

Gen.13

[10] And Lot lifted up his eyes, and beheld all the plain of Jordan, that it was well watered every where, before Yehovah destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah, even as the garden of Yehovah, like the land of Egypt, as you come unto Zoar.

Deut.2

[21] A people great, and many, and tall, as the Anakims; but Yehovah destroyed them before them; and they succeeded them, and dwelt in their stead:

[8] And they brought the head of Ish-bosheth unto David to Hebron, and said to the king, Behold the head of Ish-bosheth the son of Saul your enemy, which sought your life; and Yehovah had avenged my lord the king this day of Saul, and of his seed.

2 Sam.18

[19] Then said Ahimaaz the son of Zadok, Let me now run, and bear the king tidings, how that Yehovah had avenged him of his enemies.

[2] And when Yehovah your God shall deliver them before you; you shall smite them, and utterly destroy them; you shall make no covenant with them, nor show mercy unto them…

[23] But Yehovah your God shall deliver them unto you, and shall destroy them with a mighty destruction, until they be destroyed.

Deut.22

[20] Yehovah will not spare him, but then the anger of Yehovah and his jealousy shall smoke against that man, and all the curses that are written in this book shall lie upon him, and Yehovah shall blot out his name from under heaven.
[21] And
Yehovah shall separate him unto evil out of all the tribes of Israel, according to all the curses of the covenant that are written in this book of the law…

Deut.28

[15] But it shall come to pass, if thou wilt not hearken unto the voice of Yehovah your God, to observe to do all his commandments and his statutes which I command thee this day; that all these curses shall come upon thee, and overtake thee:
[16] Cursed shalt thou be in the city, and cursed shalt thou be in the field.
[17] Cursed shall be your basket and your store.
[18] Cursed shall be the fruit of your body, and the fruit of your land, the increase of your kine, and the flocks of your sheep.
[19] Cursed shalt thou be when thou comest in, and cursed shalt thou be when thou goest out.
[20] Yehovah shall send upon thee cursing, vexation, and rebuke, in all that thou settest thine hand unto for to do, until thou be destroyed, and until thou perish quickly; because of the wickedness of your doings, whereby thou hast forsaken me.
[21] Yehovah shall make the pestilence cleave unto thee, until he have consumed thee from off the land, whither thou goest to possess it.

[23] And your heaven that is over your head shall be brass, and the earth that is under thee shall be iron.
[24] Yehovah shall make the rain of your land powder and dust: from heaven shall it come down upon thee, until thou be destroyed.

[26] And your carcase shall be meat unto all fowls of the air, and unto the beasts of the earth, and no man shall fray them away.
[27] Yehovah will smite you with the botch of Egypt, and with the emerods, and with the scab, and with the itch, whereof you canst not be healed.

[28] Yehovah shall smite thee with madness, and blindness, and astonishment of heart:
[29] And you shall grope at noonday, as the blind gropeth in darkness, and thou shalt not prosper in your ways: and thou shalt be only oppressed and spoiled evermore, and no man shall save thee.
[30] You shall betroth a wife, and another man shall lie with her: thou shalt build an house, and you shall not dwell therein: thou shalt plant a vineyard, and shalt not gather the grapes thereof.

[59] Then Yehovah will make your plagues wonderful, and the plagues of your seed, even great plagues, and of long continuance, and sore sicknesses, and of long continuance.

[63] And it shall come to pass, that as Yehovah rejoiced over you to do you good, and to multiply you; so Yehovah will rejoice over you to destroy you, and to bring you to nought; and ye shall be plucked from off the land whither you goest to possess it.

[23] And that the whole land thereof is brimstone, and salt, and burning, that it is not sown, nor beareth, nor any grass groweth therein, like the overthrow of Sodom, and Gomorrah, Admah, and Zeboim, which Yehovah overthrew in his anger, and in his wrath:

Jer.20

[16] And let that man be as the cities which Yehovah overthrew, and repented not: and let him hear the cry in the morning, and the shouting at noontide…

Rev.12

[7] And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,
[8] And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.
[9] And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

Rev.18

[1] And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory.
[2] And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.

[3] For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies.

[4] And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that you be not partakers of her sins, and that you receive not of her plagues.
[5] For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God had remembered her iniquities.

[6] Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double unto her double according to her works: in the cup which she had filled fill to her double.
[7] How much she had glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she said in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow.

[8] Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is Yehovah God who judged her.

[9] And the kings of the earth, who have committed fornication and lived deliciously with her, shall bewail her, and lament for her, when they shall see the smoke of her burning,[10] Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas, that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in one hour is your judgment come.
[11] And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her; for no man buys their merchandise any more:

[12] The merchandise of gold, and silver, and precious stones, and of pearls, and fine linen, and purple, and silk, and scarlet, and all thyine wood, and all manner vessels of ivory, and all manner vessels of most precious wood, and of brass, and iron, and marble,
[13] And cinnamon, and odours, and ointments, and frankincense, and wine, and oil, and fine flour, and wheat, and beasts, and sheep, and horses, and chariots, and slaves, and souls of men.

[14] And the fruits that your soul lusted after are departed from you, and all things which were dainty and goodly are departed from you, and you shall find them no more at all.
[15] The merchants of these things, which were made rich by her, shall stand afar off for the fear of her torment, weeping and wailing,
[16] And saying, Alas, alas, that great city, that was clothed in fine linen, and purple, and scarlet, and decked with gold, and precious stones, and pearls!
[17] For in one hour so great riches is come to nought.

And every shipmaster, and all the company in ships, and sailors, and as many as trade by sea, stood afar off,
[18] And cried when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, What city is like unto this great city!
[19] And they cast dust on their heads, and cried, weeping and wailing, saying, Alas, alas, that great city, wherein were made rich all that had ships in the sea by reason of her costliness! for in one hour is she made desolate.

[20] Rejoice over her, you heavens, and you holy apostles and prophets; for God had avenged you on her.

Rev.19

[1] And after these things I heard a great voice of much people in heaven, saying, praise Yehovah - Hallelu Yah ; Salvation, and glory, and honor, and power, unto the Lord our God:
[2] For true and righteous are his judgments: for He had judged the great whore, which did corrupt the earth with her fornication, and hath avenged the blood of his servants at her hand.
[3] And again they said,
praise Yehovah, Hallelu Yah.

And her smoke rose up for ever and ever.

[4] And the four and twenty elders and the four beasts fell down and worshipped God that sat on the throne, saying, Amen; praise Yehovah Hallelu Yah

In closing for today:

Heb.12 [29] For our God is a consuming fire.

May Yah Bless you
