The Word
of God - Torah, Prophets and Writings
First, I will go over the Sabbath, the 4th commandment:
The Sabbath started in Gen.
2
Gen.2 [1] Thus the
heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.
Ex. 20 [8] Remember the Sabbath day, to
keep it holy.
Remember
Isa. 58 [13] If you turn away your foot
from the Sabbath, from doing your pleasure on my holy day; and call the Sabbath
a delight, the holy of Yehovah, honorable;
and shall honor him,
Lev. 23 [3] Six days shall work be
done: but the
seventh day is the Sabbath of rest, a "holy convocation"; you shall do no work
therein: it
is the Sabbath of Yehovah in all your
dwellings.
All Sabbaths are "holy
convocations, a miqra kodesh"
– public meetings
מקרא
miqra: convocation, convoking,
reading, a calling together, sacred assembly, something called out, that
is, a public meeting (the act, the persons, or the place); also a rehearsal
kodesh: a sacred place or thing; consecrated, dedicated,
hallowed, holiness, saint, sanctuary, apartness, sacredness, separateness,
apartness, sacredness, holiness: All to the God of Israel.
The feasts of Yehovah
are in Lev. 23.
There are some times 7
extra Sabbaths during these three feasts and Holy days.

Buying and selling is
evil on the Sabbath.
So why are we at this congregation?
Most churches don’t even keep the 10 commandments
Prayer
תְּפִלָּה
Te phillâh From H6419; intercession, supplication;
by implication a hymn:
- prayer.
פָּלַל
pâlal - A primitive root; to judge
(officially or mentally); by extension to intercede, pray: - intreat,
judge (-ment),
(make) pray (-er, -ing),
make supplication.
Yeshua taught His disciples to pray
Mat. 6
[5]
And when you pray, you shall
not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray
standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be
seen of men. Verily I say unto you, they have their reward.
[6]
But you, when you pray, enter into your closet, and when you have shut the
door, pray to your Father which is in secret; and your Father which sees in
secret shall reward thee openly.
[7] But when you
pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they
shall be heard for their much speaking.
[8] Be not you therefore
like unto them:
for your Father knows what things you have
need of, before you ask him.
[9] After this
manner therefore pray you:
Your kingdom come.
Your will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our
debtors.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us
from evil:
For unto You is the
kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever.
Amen.
For if you forgive men their trespasses,
your heavenly Father will also forgive you:
But if you forgive not men their
trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
Mark 11
[24] Therefore I Yeshua
say unto you, what things so ever you desire, when you pray, believe that you
receive them, and you shall have them.
Paul
David prayed all the time.
We shall read some Psalms:
Pss.4 [1] Hear me when I call, O God of my righteousness: You
have enlarged me when I was in distress; have mercy upon me, and hear my prayer.
Pss.5 [3] My voice shall
You hear in the morning, O Yehovah; in the
morning will I direct my prayer unto you, and will look up.
Pss.6 [9] Yehovah had
heard my supplication; Yehovah will
receive my prayer.
Pss.17 [1] Hear the right, O Yehovah,
attend unto my cry, give ear unto my prayer,
that goes not out of feigned lips.
Pss.39 [12] Hear my prayer,
O Yehovah,
and give ear unto my cry; hold not your peace at my
tears: for I am a stranger with you, and a sojourner, as all my fathers were.
Pss.42 [8] … Yehovah will
command his loving kindness in the daytime, and in the night his song shall be
with me, and my prayer unto the God of my life.
Pss.54 [2] Hear my prayer,
O God; give ear to the words of my mouth.
Pss.55 [1] Give ear to my prayer, O God; and hide not thyself
from my supplication.
Pss.61 [1] Hear my cry, O
God; attend unto my prayer.
Pss.64 [1] Hear my voice, O God, in my prayer:
preserve my life from fear of the enemy.
Pss.65 [2] O You that hears prayer, unto You
shall all flesh come.
Pss.66 [19] …verily God hath heard me; he hath attended to the
voice of my prayer.[20]
Blessed be God, which hath not turned away my prayer, nor his mercy
from me.
Pss.69 [13] … as for me, my prayer is unto you, O
Yehovah,
in an acceptable time: O God, in the multitude of your mercy hear
me, in the truth of your salvation.
[20] The prayers of David the son of Jesse are ended.(for
that time)
Pss.80 [4] O Yehovah God of
hosts, how long will you be angry against the prayer of your
people?
Pss.84 [8] O Yehovah God of
hosts, hear
my prayer: give ear, O God of Jacob. Selah.
Pss.86 [6] Give ear, O Yehovah, unto
my prayer; and attend to the voice of my supplications.
Pss.88 [1] O Yehovah God of
my salvation, I have cried day and night before You:
[2] Let my prayer come before you: incline your ear
unto my
cry;
[13] But unto you have I cried, O Yehovah;
and in the morning shall my prayer prevent you.
Pss.102 [1] Hear my prayer,
O Yehovah,
and let my cry come unto you.

destitute, and not despise their prayer.
Pss.109 [4] For my love
they are my adversaries: but I give myself unto prayer.
[7] When he shall be judged, let him be condemned: and let
his prayer become sin.
Pss.141 [2] Let my prayer be
set forth before you as incense; and the lifting up of my hands as the evening
sacrifice.
[5] Let the righteous smite me; it shall be a kindness: and
let him reprove me; it shall be a excellent oil
which shall not break my head: for yet my prayer also shall be
in their calamities.
Pss.143 [1] Hear my prayer, O Yehovah,
give ear to my supplications: in your faithfulness answer me, and in your
righteousness.
Prov.15 [8] The sacrifice
of the wicked is an abomination to Yehovah: but
the prayer of the upright is His delight.
[29] Yehovah is far
from the wicked: but He
hears the prayer of
the righteous.
Prov.28 [9] He
that turns away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer shall be abomination.
[1] Give the king your judgments, O God, and your
righteousness unto the king's son.
[2] He shall judge your people with righteousness,
and your poor with judgment.
[3] The mountains shall bring peace to the people,
and the little hills, by righteousness.
[4] He shall judge the poor of the people he shall
save the children of the needy, and shall break in pieces the oppressor.
[5] They shall fear thee as long as the sun and moon
endure, throughout all generations.
[6] He shall come down like rain upon the mown
grass: as showers that water the earth.
[7] In his days shall the righteous flourish; and
abundance of peace so long as the moon endures.
[8] He shall have dominion also from sea to sea, and
from the river unto the ends of the earth.
[9] They that dwell in the wilderness shall bow
before him; and his enemies shall lick the dust.
[10] The kings of Tarshish
and of the isles shall bring presents: the kings of Sheba and Seba
shall offer gifts.
[11] Yea, all kings shall fall down before him: all
nations shall serve him.
[12] For he shall deliver the needy when he cries;
the poor also, and him that hath no helper.
[13] He shall spare the poor and needy, and shall
save the souls of the needy.
[14] He shall redeem their soul from deceit and
violence: and precious shall their blood be in his sight.
[15] And he shall live, and to him shall be given of
the gold of Sheba: prayer also shall be made for him continually; and daily
shall he be praised.
[16] There shall be a handful of corn in the earth
upon the top of the mountains; the fruit thereof shall shake like Lebanon: and
they of the city shall flourish like grass of the earth.
[17] His name shall endure for ever: his name shall
be continued as long as the sun: and men shall be blessed in him: all nations
shall call him blessed.
[18] Blessed be the Yehovah
God, the God of Israel, who only doeth wondrous things.
[19] And blessed be his glorious name for ever: and
let the whole earth be filled with his glory; Amen, and Amen.
