Today’s Topic:

A few Prophecies in the Scriptures

It is and was written:

Our Bible is the only book I know of with fulfilled Prophecies

Matt.2 [5] And they said unto him, In Bethlehem of Judaea: for thus it is written by the prophet,

[6] And you Bethlehem, in the land of Juda, art not the least among the princes of Juda: for out of you shall come a Governor, that shall rule my people Israel.

Mic.5 [2] But you, Bethlehem Ephratah, though you be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of you shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.

Matt.4 [4] But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.

Deut.8 [3] And he humbled you, and suffered you to hunger, and fed you with manna, which you knew not, neither did your fathers know; that he might make you know that man doth not live by bread only, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of Yehovah doth man live.

Matt.4 [6] And said unto him, If you be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written , He shall give his angels charge concerning you: and in their hands they shall bear you up, lest at any time you dash your foot against a stone.

Pss.91 [11] For he shall give his angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways.[12] They shall bear you up in their hands, lest you dash your foot against a stone .

Matt.4 [7] Yeshua said unto him, It is written again, You shall not tempt Yehovah your God.

Deut.6 [16] You shall not tempt Yehovah your God, as you tempted him in Massah.

Matt.4 [10] Then said Yeshua unto him, Get you hence, Satan: for it is written, You shall worship Yehovah your God, and him only shall you serve.

Deut.26 [10] And now, behold, I have brought the firstfruits of the land, which you, O Yehovah, hast given me. And you shall set it before Yehovah your God, and worship before Yehovah your God:

John the Baptist

Luke.3 [4] As it is written in the book of the words of Esaias the prophet, saying, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare you the way of Yehovah, make his paths straight.

Isa.40 [3] The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare you the way of Yehovah, make straight in the desert a highway for our God

Mark 1 [2] As it is written in the prophets, Behold, I send my messenger before your face, which shall prepare your way before you.

Mal.3 [1] Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and Yehovah, whom you seek, shall suddenly come to this temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom you delight in: behold, he shall come, said Yehovah of hosts.

Mark 9 [12] And he answered and told them, Elias verily cometh first, and restoreth all things; and how it is written of the Son of man, that he must suffer many things, and be set at nought.

[13] But I say unto you, That Elias is indeed come, and they have done unto him whatsoever they listed, as it is written of him.

Matt.11 [10] For this is he, of whom it is written, Behold, I send my messenger before your face, which shall prepare your way before you.

Matt.21 [13] And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but you have made it a den of thieves.

Isa.56 [7] Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people.

Matt.26 [31] Then said Yeshua unto them, All you shall be offended because of me this night: for it is written, I will smite the shepherd, and the sheep of the flock shall be scattered abroad.

Zech.13 [7] Awake, O sword, against my shepherd, and against the man that is my fellow, said Yehovah of hosts: smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered: and I will turn mine hand upon the little ones.

Mark.7 [6] He answered and said unto them, Well had Esaias prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honored me with their lips, but their heart is far from me.

Isa.29 [13] Wherefore Yehovah said, Forasmuch as this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honor me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men:

Judas

Acts 1 [20] For it is written in the book of Psalms, Let his habitation be desolate, and let no man dwell therein: and his bishoprick (office)let another take.

Pss.69 [25]Let their habitation be desolate; and let none dwell in their tents.

Pss.109 [8] Let his days be few; and let another take his office.

Mark 14 [21] The Son of man indeed goeth, as it is written of him: but woe to that man by whom the Son of man is betrayed! good were it for that man if he had never been born.

[27] And Yeshua said unto them, All you shall be offended because of me this night: for it is written, I will smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered.

Zech. 13 [7] Awake, O sword, against my shepherd, and against the man that is my fellow, said Yehovah of hosts: smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered: and I will turn mine hand upon the little ones.

Luke 2 [23] (As it is written in the law of Yehovah, Every male that opens the womb shall be called holy to Yehovah;)

Exod. 13 [2] Sanctify unto me all the firstborn, whatsoever opens the womb among the children of Israel, both of man and of beast: it is mine.

Luke 24 [46] And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Messiah to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day:

Read Jonah

John 6 [31] Our fathers did eat manna in the desert; as it is written, He gave them bread from heaven to eat.

Exod.16 [4] Then said Yehovah unto Moses, Behold, I will rain bread from heaven for you; and the people shall go out and gather a certain rate every day, that I may prove them, whether they will walk in my law, or no.

Neh.9 [15] And gave them bread from heaven for their hunger, and brought forth water for them out of the rock for their thirst, and promisedst them that they should go in to possess the land which you had sworn to give them.

John 6 [45] It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that had heard, and had learned of the Father, cometh unto me.

Isa.54 [13] And all your children shall be taught of Yehovah; and great shall be the peace of your children.

John 12 [14] And Yeshua, when he had found a young ass, sat thereon; as it is written, [15] Fear not, daughter of Sion: behold, your King cometh, sitting on an ass's colt.

Zech.9 [9] Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, your King cometh unto you: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass.

Acts 15 [15] And to this agree the words of the prophets; as it is written, [16] After this I will return, and will build again the tabernacle of David, which is fallen down; and I will build again the ruins thereof, and I will set it up:

Amos 9:[11] In that day will I raise up the tabernacle of David that is fallen, and close up the breaches thereof; and I will raise up his ruins, and I will build it as in the days of old:

[17] That the residue of men might seek after Yehovah, and all the Gentiles, upon whom my name is called, said Yehovah, who does all these things.

Acts.23 [5] Then said Paul, I wist not, brethren, that he was the high priest: for it is written, You shall not speak evil of the ruler of your people.

Exod.22 [28] You shall not revile the gods (judges), nor curse the ruler of your people.

Rom.1 [17] For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written The just shall live by faith.

Hab.2 [4] Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith.

Rom.2 [24] For the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles through you, as it is written.

Pss.74 [10] O God, how long shall the adversary reproach? Shall the enemy blaspheme your name for ever?

[18] Remember this, that the enemy had reproached, O Yehovah, and that the foolish people have blasphemed your name.

Isa.52 [5] Now therefore, what have I here, said Yehovah, that my people is taken away for noughtthey that rule over them make them to howl, said Yehovah; and my name continually every day is blasphemed.

Rom.3 [4] God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That you might be justified in your sayings, and mightest overcome when you art judged.

Pss.51 [4] Against you, you only, have I sinned, and done this evil in your sight: that you might be justified when you speak, and be clear when you judge.

Rom.3 [10] As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:

Pss.14 [3] They are all gone aside, they are all together become filthy: there is none that doeth good, no, not one.

Pss.53 [3] everyone of them is gone back: they are altogether become filthy; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.

Rom.4 [17] As it is written, I have made you a father of many nations,

Gen.17 [4] As for me, behold, my covenant is with you, and you shall be a father of many nations.

Rom.8 [36] As it is written, For your sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.

Pss.44 [22] Yea, for your sake are we killed all the day long; we are counted as sheep for the slaughter.

Rom.9 [13] As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated

Mal.1 [2] I have loved you, said Yehovah. Yet you say, Wherein hast you loved us? Was not Esau Jacob's brother? said Yehovah: yet I loved Jacob,

[3] And I hated Esau, and laid his mountains and his heritage waste for the dragons of the wilderness.

Rom.9 [33] As it is written, Behold, I lay in Sion a stumbling stone and rock of offence: and whosoever believes on him shall not be ashamed.

Isa.8 [14] And he shall be for a sanctuary; but for a stone of stumbling and for a rock of offence to both the houses of Israel, for a gin and for a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem.

Rom.10 [15] And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!

Isa.52 [7] How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publishes peace; that brings good tidings of good, that publishes salvation; that said unto Zion, Your God reigneth!

Rom.11 [8] (According as it is written, God had given them the spirit of slumber, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear;) unto this day.

Jer.5 [21] Hear now this, O foolish people, and without understanding; which have eyes, and see not; which have ears, and hear not:

Rom.11 [26] And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:

Pss.14 [7] Oh that the salvation of Israel were come out of Zion! when Yehovah bring back the captivity of his people, Jacob shall rejoice, and Israel shall be glad.

Pss.53 [6] Oh that the salvation of Israel were come out of Zion! When God bringeth back the captivity of his people, Jacob shall rejoice, and Israel shall be glad.

Rom.12 [19] Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, said Yehovah.

Deut.32 [35] To me belongs vengeance, and recompence; their foot shall slide in due time: for the day of their calamity is at hand, and the things that shall come upon them make haste.

[41] If I whet my glittering sword, and mine hand take hold on judgment; I will render vengeance to mine enemies, and will reward them that hate me.

[43] Rejoice, O you nations, with his people: for he will avenge the blood of his servants, and will render vengeance to his adversaries, and will be merciful unto his land, and to his people.

Rom.14 [11] For it is written, As I live, said Yehovah, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.

Isa.45 [23] I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear.

Rom.15 [3] For even Messiah pleased not himself; but, as it is written, The reproaches of them that reproached you fell on me.

Pss.69 [9] For the zeal of thine house had eaten me up; and the reproaches of them that reproached you are fallen upon me.

Rom.15 [9] And that the Gentiles might glorify God for his mercy; as it is written, For this cause I will confess to you among the Gentiles, and sing unto your name.

Isa.61 [9] And their seed shall be known among the Gentiles, and their offspring among the people: all that see them shall acknowledge them, that they are the seed which Yehovah had blessed.

Isa.66 [19] And I will set a sign among them, and I will send those that escape of them unto the nations, to TarshishPul, and Lud, that draw the bow, to Tubal, and Javan, to the isles afar off, that have not heard my fame, neither have seen my glory; and they shall declare my glory among the Gentiles.

Rom.15 [21] But as it is written, To whom he was not spoken of, they shall see: and they that have not heard shall understand.

Isa.65 [1] I am sought of them that asked not for me; I am found of them that sought me not: I said, Behold me, behold me, unto a nation that was not called by my name.

1Cor.1 [19] For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.

Isa.29 [14] Therefore, behold, I will proceed to do a marvellous work among this people, even a marvellous work and a wonder: for the wisdom of their wise men shall perish, and the understanding of their prudent men shall be hid.

1 Cor.1 [31] That, according as it is written, He that glories, let him glory in Yehovah.

Jer.9 [23] Thus said Yehovah, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches:

[24] But let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understands and knows me, that I am Yehovah which exercise loving-kindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, said Yehovah.

1Cor.2 [9] But as it is written, Eye had not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God had prepared for them that love him.

Isa.64 [4] For since the beginning of the world men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither had the eye seen, O God, beside you, what he had prepared for him that waiteth for him.

1Cor.3 [19] For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness.

Job.5[ 13] He take the wise in their own craftiness: and the counsel of the froward is carried headlong.

1Cor.9 [9] For it is written in the law of Moses, You shall not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen?

Deut.25 [4] You shall not muzzle the ox when he treadeth out the corn.

1Tim.5 [18] For the scripture said, You shall not muzzle the ox that treads out the corn.

Deut.25 [4] You shall not muzzle the ox when he treads out the corn.

Luke 24 [44] And he, Yeshua said unto them, These are the words which I spoke unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning Me.

Pss.2 [7] I will declare the decree: Yehovah had said unto me, You are my Son; this day have I begotten you.

Pss.45 [6] Your throne, O God, is for ever and ever: the scepter of your kingdom is a right sceptre.

[7] You lovest righteousness, and hatest wickedness: therefore God, your God, had anointed you with the oil of gladness above your fellows.

Heb.1 [8] But unto the Son he said, Your throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of your kingdom.

[9] You have loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even your God, had anointed you with the oil of gladness above your fellows.

[10] And, You, Lord, in the beginning have laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands:

[11] They shall perish; but you remain; and they all shall wax old as doth a garment;

[12] And as a vesture shall you fold them up, and they shall be changed: but you are the same, and your years shall not fail.

[13] But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies your footstool?

Acts.2:34 Yehovah said unto my Lord, Sit you on my right hand,

[35] Until I make your foes your footstool.

[36] Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God had made that same Yeshua, whom you have crucified, both Lord and Messiah.

Messiah is from the “Seed of the woman”, Messiah was to bruise Satan’s head

Gen.3 [15] And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her seed; it shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise his heel.

Gal.4 [4] But when the fullness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law…

Messiah is from the Seed of Abraham

Gen.22 [17] That in blessing I will bless you, and in multiplying I will multiply your seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and your seed shall possess the gate of his enemies;

[18] And in your seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because you have obeyed my voice.

Gal.3 [16] Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He said not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to your seed, which is Messiah.

Messiah is from the Seed of David and a prophet

Pss. 132 [11] Ye hovah had sworn in truth unto David; he will not turn from it; Of the fruit of your body will I set upon your throne.

Acts 2 [30] Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Messiah to sit on his throne;

Acts 13 [22] … he raised up unto them David to be their king; to whom also he gave testimony, and said, I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after mine own heart, which shall fulfill all my will

[23] Of this man's seed had God according to his promise raised unto Israel a Savior, Yeshua

Messiah was to come from the tribe of Judah

Gen. 49 [10] The scepter shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be.

Rev.5 [5] And one of the elders said unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, had prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.

Heb. 7 [14] For it is evident that our Lord sprang out of Judah; of which tribe Moses spoke nothing concerning priesthood.

The Messiah had to come before the tribe of Judah lost its tribal identity

Gen. 49 [10] The scepter shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be.

Dan. 9 [24] Seventy weeks are determined upon your people and upon your holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.

[25] Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.

[26] And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.

Gal.4 [4] But when the fullness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law

[5] To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.

Messiah was to be born of a virgin

Isa.7 [14] Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.

Matt.1 [23] Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

Messiah is from Bethlehem of Judaea

Mic. 5 [2] But you, Bethlehem Ephratah, though you be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of you shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.

Matt.2 [1] Now when Yeshua was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem

Innocent children of Israel were to be slaughtered at that time

Jer.31[15] Thus said Yehovah; A voice was heard in Ramah, lamentation, and bitter weeping; Rahel weeping for her children refused to be comforted for her children, because they were not.

Matt. 2 [16] Then Herod, when he saw that he was mocked of the wise men, was exceeding wroth, and sent forth, and slew all the children that were in Bethlehem, and in all the coasts thereof, from two years old and under, according to the time which he had diligently inquired of the wise men.

[17] Then was fulfilled that which was spoken by Jeremy the prophet, saying,
[18] In Rama was there a voice heard, lamentation, and weeping, and great mourning, Rachel weeping for her children, and would not be comforted, because they are not.

Again

Messiah was to be preceded by a forerunner, John the Baptistbefore entering His public ministry

Isa. 40 [3] The voice of him that cries in the wilderness, Prepare you the way of Yehovah, make straight in the desert a highway for our God.

[4] Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low: and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough places plain:

[5] And the glory of Yehovah shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together: for the mouth of Yehovah had spoken it.

Mal. 3 [1] Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom you seek, shall suddenly come to this temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom you delight in: behold, he shall come, said Yehovah of hosts.

Matt. 11[10] For this is he, of whom it is written, Behold, I send my messenger before your face, which shall prepare your way before you.

Matt. 3 [1] In those days came John the Baptist, preaching in the wilderness of Judaea,
[2] And saying, Repent you: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

[3] For this is he that was spoken of by the prophet Isaiah, saying,

The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare you the way of the Lord, make his paths straight.

Mark 1 [2] As it is written in the prophets, Behold, I send my messenger before your face, which shall prepare your way before you.

Luke 7 [27] This is he, of whom it is written, Behold, I send my messenger before your face, which shall prepare your way before you.

Messiah was to be a prophet

Deut. 18 [15] Yehovah your God will raise up unto you a Prophet from the midst of you, of your brethren, like unto me; unto him you shall hearken;

[18] I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto you, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him.

Acts 3 [22] For Moses truly said unto the fathers, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall you hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you.

[23] And it shall come to pass, that every soul, which will not hear that prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people.

Messiah was to be a priest after the order of Melchisedec

Pss. 110 [4] Yehovah had sworn, and will not repent, You are a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek.

Heb. 5 [6] As he said also in another place, You are a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.

[10] Called of God an high priest after the order of Melchisedec.

Heb. 6[20] Whither the forerunner is for us entered, even Yeshua, made an high priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.

Messiah, as the “Servant of the Lord,” Messiah was to be a faithful and patient redeemer, for the Gentiles as well as the Jews

Isa. 42 [1] Behold my servant, whom I uphold; mine elect, in whom my soul delights; I have put my spirit upon him: he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles.

[2] He shall not cry, nor lift up, nor cause his voice to be heard in the street.

[3] A bruised reed shall he not break, and the smoking flax shall he not quench: he shall bring forth judgment unto truth.

[4] He shall not fail nor be discouraged, till he has set judgment in the earth: and the isles shall wait for his law.

Matt. 12

[17] That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying,

[18] Behold my servant, whom I have chosen; my beloved, in whom my soul is well pleased: I will put my spirit upon him, and he shall show judgment to the Gentiles.

[19] He shall not strive, nor cry; neither shall any man hear his voice in the streets.

[20] A bruised reed shall he not break, and smoking flax shall he not quench, till he send forth judgment unto victory.

[21] And in his name shall the Gentiles trust.

Messiah was to enter Jerusalem on a donkey - to bring salvation.

Messiah was meek and lowly

Zech. 9 [9] Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, your King cometh unto you: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass.

Matt. 21 [2] Saying unto them, Go into the village over against you, and straightway you shall find an ass tied, and a colt with her: loose them, and bring them unto me.

[5] Tell you the daughter of Sion, Behold, your King cometh unto you, meek, and sitting upon an ass, and a colt the foal of an ass.

Messiah was to enter the second temple before it was destroyed

Mal. 3 [1] Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom you seek, shall suddenly come to this temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom you delight in: behold, he shall come, said Yehovah of hosts.

[2] But who may abide the day of his coming? And who shall stand when he appears? for he is like a refiner's fire, and like fullers' soap:

[3] And he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto Yehovah an offering in righteousness.

Messiah was to be rejected by all - His friends and brethren

Pss. 41[9] Yea, mine own familiar friend, in whom I trusted, which did eat of my bread, had lifted up his heel against me.

John 7 [5] For neither did his brethren believe in him.

Messiah’s sufferings and death at Jerusalem were all in accordance with what had been foretold in Psa. 22 and Isa. 53.

Isa.9 [6] For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon His shoulder: and His name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
