Today, we sadly use the Gregorian calendar from Pope Gregory; from the 1500’s.

The date is Sept. 3, 2022 (in the 21 Century)

September -- the seventh month

Middle English septembre
Latin September
Latin septem "seven" + -ber (adj. suffix)
Latin september mensis "seventh month"

September had 30 days, until Numa when it had 29 days, until Julius when it became 30 days long.

The God of Israel has His own Calendar:

We are now in the 6th month of God called Elul  אֱל֑וּל, day 6

Neh.6 [15] So the wall was finished in the twenty and fifth day of the month Elul,

Neh.7 [73] So the priests, and the Levites, and the porters, and the singers, and some of the people, and the Nethinims, and all Israel, dwelt in their cities; and when the seventh month came, the children of Israel were in their cities.

We see very early in the Scriptures sorcerers

Exod.7 [11] Then Pharaoh also called the wise men and the sorcerers: now the magicians of Egypt, they also did in like manner with their enchantments.

Jer.27

[1] In the beginning of the reign of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah came this word unto Jeremiah from Yehovah, saying,

[2] Thus said Yehovah to me; Make you bonds and yokes, and put them upon your neck,
[3] And send them to the king of Edom, and to the king of Moab, and to the king of the Ammonites, and to the king of Tyrus, and to the king of Zidon, by the hand of the messengers which come to Jerusalem unto Zedekiah king of Judah;
[4] And command them to say unto their masters,

Thus said Yehovah of hosts, the God of Israel;

Thus shall you say unto your masters;
[5] I have made the earth, the man and the beast that are upon the ground, by my great power and by my outstretched arm, and have given it unto whom it seemed meet unto me.
[6] And now have I given all these lands unto the hand of Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, my servant; and the beasts of the field have I given him also to serve him.
[7] And all nations shall serve him, and his son, and his son's son, until the very time of his land come: and then many nations and great kings shall serve themselves of him.

[8] And it shall come to pass, that the nation and kingdom which will not serve the same Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, and that will not put their neck under the yoke of the king of Babylon, that nation will I punish, said Yehovah, with the sword, and with the famine, and with the pestilence, until I have consumed them by his hand.

[9] Therefore hearken not you to your prophets, nor to your diviners, nor to your dreamers, nor to your enchanters, nor to your sorcerers, which speak unto you, saying, You shall not serve the king of Babylon:
[10] For they prophesy a lie unto you, to remove you far from your land; and that I should drive you out, and you should perish
.

[11] But the nations that bring their neck under the yoke of the king of Babylon, and serve him, those will I let remain still in their own land, said Yehovah; and they shall till it, and dwell therein.

[12] I spoke also to Zedekiah king of Judah according to all these words, saying, Bring your necks under the yoke of the king of Babylon, and serve him and his people, and live.
[13] Why will you die, thou and your people, by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence, as Yehovah had spoken against the nation that will not serve the king of Babylon?
[14] Therefore hearken not unto the words of the prophets that speak unto you, saying, You shall not serve the king of Babylon: for they prophesy a lie unto you.

[15] For I have not sent them, said Yehovah, yet they prophesy a lie in my name; that I might drive you out, and that you might perish, you, and the prophets that prophesy unto you.

[16] Also I spoke to the priests and to all this people, saying, Thus said Yehovah; Hearken not to the words of your prophets that prophesy unto you, saying, Behold, the vessels of Yehovah's house shall now shortly be brought again from Babylon: for they prophesy a lie unto you.

[17] Hearken not unto them; serve the king of Babylon, and live: wherefore should this city be laid waste?
[18] But if they be prophets, and if the word of Yehovah be with them, let them now make intercession to Yehovah of hosts, that the vessels which are left in the house of Yehovah, and in the house of the king of Judah, and at Jerusalem, go not to Babylon.

[19] For thus said Yehovah of hosts concerning the pillars, and concerning the sea, and concerning the bases, and concerning the residue of the vessels that remain in this city,
[20] Which Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon took not, when he carried away captive Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim king of Judah from Jerusalem to Babylon, and all the nobles of Judah and Jerusalem;
[21] Yea, thus said Yehovah of hosts, the God of Israel, concerning the vessels that remain in the house of Yehovah, and in the house of the king of Judah and of Jerusalem;
[22] They shall be carried to Babylon, and there shall they be until the day that I visit them, said Yehovah; then will I bring them up, and restore them to this place.

Dan.2 [2] Then the king commanded to call the magicians, and the astrologers, and the sorcerers and the Chaldeans, for to show the king his dreams. So they came and stood before the king.

Mal.3 [5] And I will come near to you to judgment; and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, and against the adulterers, and against false swearers, and against those that oppress the hireling in his wages, the widow, and the fatherless, and that turn aside the stranger from his right, and fear not me, said Yehovah of hosts.

Rev.21 [8] But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

Deut.18 [10] There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that uses divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch, [11] Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer.

[12] For all that do these things are an abomination unto Yehovah: and because of these abominations Yehovah your God doth drive them out from before you.
[13] You shall be perfect with Yehovah your God.

1Sam.15 [23] For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of Yehovah, he had also rejected you from being king.

2Kgs.9 [22] And it came to pass, when Joram saw Jehu, that he said, Is it peace, Jehu? And he answered,

What peace, so long as the whoredoms of your mother Jezebel and her witchcrafts are so many?

Here is an amazing story… Did he repent, no mention in 2Kgs.21

2 Chr.33 [1] Manasseh was twelve Years old when he began to reign, and he reigned fifty and five Years in Jerusalem:
[2] But did that which was evil in the sight of Yehovah, like unto the abominations of the heathen, whom Yehovah had cast out before the children of Israel.

[3] For he built again the high places which Hezekiah his father had broken down, and he reared up altars for Baalim, and made groves, and worshipped all the host of heaven, and served them.
[4] Also he built altars in the house of Yehovah, whereof Yehovah had said, In Jerusalem shall my name be forever.
[5] And he built altars for all the host of heaven in the two courts of the house of Yehovah.

[6] And he caused his children to pass through the fire in the valley of the son of Hinnom: also he observed times, and used enchantments, and used witchcraft, and dealt with a familiar spirit, and with wizards: he wrought much evil in the sight of Yehovah, to provoke him to anger.

[7] And he set a carved image, the idol which he had made, in the house of God, of which God had said to David and to Solomon his son, In this house, and in Jerusalem, which I have chosen before all the tribes of Israel, will I put my name for ever:
[8] Neither will I any more remove the foot of Israel from out of the land which I have appointed for your fathers; so that they will take heed to do all that I have commanded them, according to the whole law and the statutes and the ordinances by the hand of Moses.
[9] So Manasseh made Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem
to err, and to do worse than the heathen, whom Yehovah had destroyed before the children of Israel.

Back to 2 Chr.33

[10] And Yehovah spoke to Manasseh, and to his people: but they would not hearken.

[11] Wherefore Yehovah brought upon them the captains of the host of the king of Assyria, which took Manasseh among the thorns, and bound him with fetters, and carried him to Babylon.

[12] And when he was in affliction, he besought Yehovah his God, and humbled himself greatly before the God of his fathers,
[13] And prayed unto him: and he was intreated of him, and heard his supplication, and brought him again to Jerusalem into his kingdom.

Then Manasseh knew that Yehovah he was God.

[14] Now after this he built a wall without the city of David, on the west side of Gihon, in the valley, even to the entering in at the fish gate, and compassed about Ophel, and raised it up a very great height, and put captains of war in all the fenced cities of Judah.
[15]
And he took away the strange gods, and the idol out of the house of Yehovah, and all the altars that he had built in the mount of the house of Yehovah, and in Jerusalem, and cast them out of the city.
[16] And he repaired the altar of Yehovah, and sacrificed thereon peace offerings and thank offerings, and commanded Judah to serve Yehovah God of Israel.

[17] Nevertheless the people did sacrifice still in the high places, yet unto Yehovah their God only.

[18] Now the rest of the acts of Manasseh, and his prayer unto his God, and the words of the seers that spoke to him in the name of Yehovah God of Israel, behold, they are written in the book of the kings of Israel.

[19] His prayer also, and how God was intreated of him, and all his sin, and his trespass, and the places wherein he built high places, and set up groves and graven images, before he was humbled: behold, they are written among the sayings of the seers. (we don’t have today)
[20] So Manasseh slept with his fathers, and they buried him in his own house: and Amon his son reigned in his stead.

Mic.5 [1] Now gather thyself in troops, O daughter of troops: he had laid siege against us: they shall smite the judge of Israel with a rod upon the cheek.
[2] But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of you shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.
Messiah

[3] Therefore will he give them up, until the time that she which travails had brought forth: then the remnant of his brethren shall return unto the children of Israel.
[4] And he shall stand and feed in the strength of Yehovah, in the majesty of the name of Yehovah his God; and they shall abide: for now shall he be great unto the ends of the earth.
[5] And this man shall be the peace, when the Assyrian shall come into our land: and when he shall tread in our palaces, then shall we raise against him seven shepherds, and eight principal men.
[6] And they shall waste the land of Assyria with the sword, and the land of Nimrod in the entrances thereof: thus shall he deliver us from the Assyrian, when he cometh into our land, and when he treads within our borders.
[7] And the remnant of Jacob shall be in the midst of many people as a dew from Yehovah, as the showers upon the grass, that tarries not for man, nor waits for the sons of men.
[8] And the remnant of Jacob shall be among the Gentiles in the midst of many people as a lion among the beasts of the forest, as a young lion among the flocks of sheep: who, if he go through, both treads down, and tears in pieces, and none can deliver.
[9] Your hand shall be lifted up upon your adversaries, and all your enemies shall be cut off.
[10] And it shall come to pass in that day, said Yehovah, that I will cut off your horses out of the midst of you, and I will destroy your chariots:
[11] And I will cut off the cities of your land, and throw down all your strong holds:
[12] And I will cut off witchcrafts out of your hand; and thou shall have no more soothsayer:
[13] Thy graven images also will I cut off, and your standing images out of the midst of you; and thou shall no more worship the work of your hands.
[14] And I will pluck up your groves out of the midst of you: so will I destroy your cities.
[15] And I will execute vengeance in anger and fury upon the heathen, such as they have not heard.

Nah.3[4] Because of the multitude of the whoredoms of the well favored harlot, the mistress of witchcrafts, that sells nations through her whoredoms, and families through her witchcrafts.

Gal.5 [19] Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,[20] Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,[21] Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

Rev.22 [12] … I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.
[13] I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.
[14] Blessed are they that do his commandments that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. [15] For without are dogs, and
sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loves and makes a lie.

[16] I Yeshua have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.

[17] And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that hears say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.

[18] For I testify unto every man that hears the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:
[19] And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
[20] He which testifies these things said, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Yeshua

Inclosing for today:

A spiritual world

Saul / Paul said:

Eph.6 [10] Finally,

my brethren and sisters, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might.[11] Put on the whole armor of God that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

Wiles - Traveling overthat istravesty, (trickery): -, lie in wait.

[12For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Principalities - chief (in various applications of order, time, place or rank…

Powers – (in the sense of ability); privilegeforcecapacitycompetency (objectively) mastery (superhumanpotentatetoken of control), delegated influence: - authority in jurisdiction, liberty, power, right, strength.

Rulers of the darkness - world ruler, an epithet of Satan

Spiritual – (supernatural), wickedness (maliceplots sins - iniquity) in

High places - celestial, in the heavens

[13] Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

[14] Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;

[15] And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

[16] Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith you shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

[17] And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

[18] Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints…

God bless all of you…

Stay alert, watch and pray always

Num.23 [23] Surely there is no enchantment against Jacob, neither is there any divination against Israel:
