Today, we sadly use the Gregorian calendar from Pope Gregory; from the 1500’s,

The date is July 16, 2022 (in the 21 Century)

July -- Julius Caesar's month

Middle English Julie
Latin Julius "Julius"
Latin Julius
mensis "month of Julius"
Latin
quintilis mensis "fifth month"

Quintilis (and later Julius) has always had 31 days.

Julius Caesar reformed the Roman calendar (hence the Julian calendar) in 46 BC. In the process, he renamed this month after himself.

The God of Israel has His own Calendar:

We are now in the 4th month of God which has no scriptural name, day 16

Today’s Topic:

Some questions with answers

Let’s start:

Acts 2 - Pentecost – Feast of Weeks / Feast of Harvest

Question - Who was there?

Answer - Jews from every nation, Acts 2, verse 5

Question - Why were they there?

Answer -To attend one of the feasts of Yehovah, Feast of Weeks - Lev. 23

Lev.23

[1] And Yehovah spoke unto Moses, saying,[2] Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, Concerning the feasts of Yehovah, which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations, even these are My feasts.

Deut.16

[16] Three times in a year shall all thy males appear before Yehovah thy God in the place which he shall choose; in the feast of unleavened bread, and in the feast of weeks, and in the feast of tabernacles: and they shall not appear before Yehovah empty: [17] Every man shall give as he is able, according to the blessing of Yehovah thy God which he hath given you.

Here is Acts:

Acts 2

[1] And when the day of Pentecost/ Feast of Weeks was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
[2] And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.
[3] And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.[4] And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

[5] And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven.

Gentiles received the Baptism in Acts 10

Acts.10 [45] And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost[46] For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God. Then answered Peter,[47] Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we?[48] And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord.

Let’s examine these verses below:

Gal.1

[6] I marvel that ye are so soon removed from Him that called you into the grace of Messiah unto another gospel.

Grace of Messiah – the underserved favor of: Messiah’s offering of Himself as a sin sacrifice for us.

[8] But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.

[9] As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.

2 Cor. 11

[4] For if he that comes preaches another /other Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if you receive another /other spirit, which you have not received, or another/other gospel, which you have not accepted, you might well bear with him. (Go along with them and their doctrine)

To all Protestants:

You selected the church that you attend.

You say you feel the spirit there.

You say you feel Jesus there.

You enjoy their gospel they preach.

You say your church is the right one.

You say every other church is wrong.

What about all the other Protestant churches that you don’t attend?

They say they feel the spirit there.

They say they feel Jesus there.

They say they have the right gospel that they preach

Sounds to me like 2 Cor.11 [4] above

Another /other Jesus, another /other spirit, another/other gospel

I know what you say about other churches:

You don’t believe their gospel.

You don’t attend their church services.

You could cite many things wrong with their gospel.

But each of them say they have Jesus, feel the spirit, and have the correct gospel.

Sounds to me like 2 Cor.11 [4] Another /other Jesus, another /other spirit, another/other gospel

The corrupt “mother church” is the Catholic Church L

Here is a list of her children:

A short list of Protestant churches

All these churches were created after the 1500s.

And many more…

For a moment, just think of all the different Jesus(s) spirits, and gospels above

None of these churches were around during the time of Messiah Yeshua / Jesus

I know you understand all the churched I listed above do not agree with each other’s doctrines. They are not together in one body.

Amazing, they all still say they feel Jesus, feel the Spirit, have the Gospel

Protestants was supposed to be protesting the Catholic Church.

A dictionary definition: Protestant : a member or follower of any of the Western Christian churches that are separate from the Roman Catholic Church and follow the principles of the Reformation, including the Baptist, Presbyterian, and Lutheran churches…

However, Protestants still follow the Roman Catholic Church with all their false holidays and false day of worship, Sunday.

They all have a different Jesus, spirit, and gospel, as Apostle Paul put it

I thought there was just “one body” of Christ / Messiah

Rom.12 [4] For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office:[5] So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.

1 Cor. 10 [17] For we being many are one bread, and one body: for we are all partakers of that one bread.

1 Cor. 12[12] For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.[13] For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.

[20] But now are they many members, yet but one body.

The list of Protestant churches above show there are many bodies and not one church knows what the other church is doing.

All different Jesus(s), spirits, gospels

Question - Who is right?

Answer – None of them

They still are, unknowingly following the Catholic Church.

Please Read http://OneinMessiah.net/confess.htm

Roman Catholic and Protestant Confessions about Sunday

How can we determine who is correct scripturally?

Our rule of thumb, follow the Holy Scriptures.

We read the English KJV version of the Bible, which has been verified to be the most accurate English version.

Let’s start with the 10 Commandments in Exod. 20, Deut. 5

Question - Which Protestant church keeps the 10 Commandments?

Answer - none

Question - Which one of these Protestant churches keep the feasts of God?

Answer - none

Question - Which one keeps the seven Sabbaths in the holy days and the feasts of God?

Answer – none

Question - which church knows what to eat, as far as clean and unclean foods?

Answer - none

Question - what version of the Bible are they reading?

Answer – They use just about any corrupt version

Above, I went over the Feasts of Yehovah but the Protestants and Catholics still follow pagan holidays and observances, here are a few:

Fake Gregorian New Year in January

Christmas – false embellishments over the years… Watch Christmas unwrapped on YouTube. History Channel

Chanukah (same time as Christmas)

in Kislev are the days of Chanukah, which are eight... these were appointed a Festival with Hillel [prayers of praise] and thanksgiving. - Shabbat 21b, Babylonian Talmud (we don't follow)

Don't buy a 8 or 9 candlestick Menorahunscriptural, no 8 days of oil in the Maccabee stories – made up

Easter

Valentine’s Day

Saint Patrick Day

Thanksgiving

Halloween

Fat Tuesday

Lent

Conformation

Ash Wednesday - too many Catholic feasts to list

Kwanzaa - Ron Karenga (aka Dr. Maulana Ron Karenga) invented the seven-day feast (Dec. 26-Jan. 1) in 1966, branding it a black alternative to Christmas. The idea was to celebrate the end of what he considered the Christmas-season exploitation of African Americans.

Judaism's Rosh Hashanah, New Year and Passovers are wrong (don't follow Jewish calendars, they have made-up names)

Bar or Bat - Mitzvahs

Tu B' Shevat - too many feasts in Judaism to list

Tisha B'Av

Question - What is wrong with all these?

Answer - Really can't verify these by the scriptures

Again, First, the 10 Commandments in the Law

I want to read this because I can’t get some people to read it for themselves.

Remember John said: 1 John. 3 [4] Whosoever commits sin transgresses also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.

Exod.20

[1] And God spoke all these words, saying,
1

[2] I am Yehovah your God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.
[3] Thou shall have no other gods before me.

2
[4] Thou shall not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:
[5] Thou shall not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I Yehovah your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;
[6] And showing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.

3
[7] You shall not take the name of Yehovah your God in vain; for Yehovah will not hold him guiltless that takes his name in vain.

4
[8] Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.
[9] Six days shall you labor, and do all your work:
[10] But the seventh day is the Sabbath of Yehovah your God: in it you shall not do any work, you, nor your son, nor your daughter, your manservant, nor your maidservant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger that is within your gates:
[11] For in six days Yehovah made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore Yehovah blessed the Sabbath day, and hallowed it.

5
[12] Honor your father and your mother: that your days may be long upon the land which Yehovah your God gives thee.

6
[13] You shall not kill.

7
[14] You shall not commit adultery.

8
[15] You shall not steal.

9
[16] You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.

10
[17] You shall not covet your neighbor’s house, you shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is your neighbor’s.

2 more questions with answers - Col.2:14 and Acts 15:20, 29

Now the letters which are from Torah

Saul /Paul, a Jewish man

Col.2 [14] Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;

Last week I explained the Law and some of its parts:

Physical offerings for sin are over now and pointed to offering of the body of Yeshua the Messiah once for all.

Heb.10 [10] By the which will we are sanctified (made Holy) through the offering of the body of Yeshua the Messiah once for all.

Parts of the Law:

The service of the Levites

Sacrifice for sin

The levities, their priesthood, the service of each family,  all physical sacrifices, temple services and all the activities that go with them:

All the physical services: The incense, perfumes - service of the ministry, and the service of the burden in the tabernacle of the congregation, service of the sanctuary, the service of the ministry, a service of gift, the cloths of service (special garments) for all instruments of all manner of service; silver also for all instruments of silver by weight, for all instruments of every kind of service…etc

All this above has served it coarse, and is completed, it fulfilled its purpose.

These parts of the law are applicable for today:

Food laws

Clean and unclean laws

Commandments, all Sabbaths, feasts

Statutes

Judgments - Exod.21 [1now these are the judgments…

Testimonies

Ordinance

Question - So which part of the law was against us in Col.2 [14]?

Answer - the punishment for our sins from the Judgments was against us

Rev.1 [5] And from Yeshua the Messiah who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood…

Next question in Acts 15:20, 29 - Idols, Blood, Strangle, fornication

Acts 15 [19] Wherefore my sentence is, that we trouble not them, which from among the Gentiles are turned to God:

[20] But that we write unto them, that they abstain from pollutions of idols, and from fornication, and from things strangled, and from blood.

[21] For Moses of old time hath in every city them that preach him, being read in the synagogues every Sabbath day.

In verse 21 - You can see here, there is a Sabbath day to come and learn torah

[29] That you abstain from meats offered to idols, and from blood, and from things strangled, and from fornication: from which if you keep yourselves, ye shall do well. Fare ye well.

Idols, Blood, Strangle – There are many verses

Back to Torah:

Lev.19 [4] Turn you not unto idols, nor make to yourselves molten gods: I am Yehovah your God.

Lev.7 [26] Moreover ye shall eat no manner of blood, whether it be of fowl or of beast, in any of your dwellings.

Lev.17 [14] For it is the life of all flesh; the blood of it is for the life thereof: therefore I said unto the children of Israel, You shall eat the blood of no manner of flesh: for the life of all flesh is the blood thereof: whosoever eats it shall be cut off.

Lev.22 [8] That which dies of itself, or is torn with beasts, he shall not eat to defile himself therewith: I am Yehovah.

Fornication - many verses, here is the definition:

זָנָה zanah {za-nah'}

Meaning:  1) to commit fornication, be a harlot, play the harlot 1a) (Qal) 1a1) to be a harlot, act as a harlot, commit fornication 1a2) to commit adultery 1a3) to be a cult prostitute 1a4) to be unfaithful (to God) (fig.) 1b) (Pual) to play the harlot 1c) (Hiphil) 1c1) to cause to commit adultery 1c2) to force into prostitution 1c3) to commit fornication

Origin:  a primitive root [highly-fed and therefore wanton]

Usage:  AV - ...harlot 36, go a whoring 19, whoredom 15, whore 11, commit fornication 3, whorish 3, harlot + 0802 2, commit 1, continually 1, great 1, whore's + 0802 1; 93 times - all evil

Dictionary – fornication sexual relations between people not married to each other:

to prostitute one's body to the lust of another 2) to give one's self to unlawful sexual intercourse 2a) to commit fornication 3- to be given to idolatry, to worship idols 3a) to permit one's self to be drawn away by another into idolatry -

Which is all NOT of God, but evil.

In conclusion for today:

We all have to understand, at that time, there were no Gospels nor letters, the people there only had the Tanach.

The Word of God - Torah, Prophets and Writings (psalms)

Ta Na Kh is an acronym for:

T = Torah (law, teachings) - first 5 books of Moses

N = Navieem or prophets (pl. sounds like - Na vi eem)

K = Ke'tuvim or writings (psalms etc.)

Paul said - I am a Pharisee, the son of a Pharisee

Acts.23 [6] But when Paul perceived that the one part were Sadducees, and the other Pharisees, he cried out in the council, Men and brethren, I am a Pharisee, the son of a Pharisee: of the hope and resurrection of the dead I am called in question.

He would never add or diminish for the Words of God and make new commandments or laws in his lettersx.

If you read something in the letters you think is changing the Tanach, you or your doctrine is explaining it wrong.

Read the letters with a Torah mindset.

I believe this is enough for today…

Remember:

Isa.59 [2] …your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that He will not hear.

John.9 [31] Now we know that God hears not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth His will, him He hears.

Prov.28 [9] He that turns away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer shall be abomination.

P.S:

And Romans 14 - read it again, it is talking about food and fasting - not the Sabbath
