Shabbat Shalom

שַׁבָּת שָׁלוֹם

Today we are still using the Gregorian calendar from Pope Gregory; from the 1500’s which he introduced it as a modification of, and replacement for the Julian calendar.

Today is Sept. 21, 2024

We acknowledge God’s calendar – the 6th month Elul , day 17

Neh.6 [15] So the wall was finished in the twenty and fifth day of the month Elul, in fifty and two days.

Neh.7[73] So the priests, and the Levites, and the porters, and the singers, and some of the people, and the Nethinims, and all Israel, dwelt in their cities; and when the seventh month came, the children of Israel were in their cities.

Seventh month is ha Ethanim = 1 Kings:8:2

Our ministry has been a teaching ministry for the last 23 years to bring up topics in the Bible that have never been discussed or mentioned in your life.

Today is the 4th commandment, the Sabbath.

Sabbath is not a Jewish tradition.

Here in Genesis 2:2,3 there were no Jews nor Israel at that time.

Gen.2 [2And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.

[3] And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.

Ex. 20 [8] Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.

זכר  Remember

zâkar - zaw-karA primitive root; properly to mark (so as to be recognized), that is, to remember; by implication to mentionmake mention ofbe mindful, recount, record (-er), remember, make to be remembered, bring (call, come, keep, put) to (in) remembrance…

[9] Six days shall you labor, and do all your work:

[10] But the seventh day is the Sabbath of Yehovah your God: in it you shall not do any work, you, nor your son, nor your daughter, your manservant nor your maidservant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger that is within your gates:

[11] For in six days Yehovah made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore Yehovah blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

Isa. 58 [13] If you turn away your foot from the Sabbath, from doing your pleasure on my holy day; and call the sabbath a delight, the holy of Yehovah, honorable; and shall honor him,

1 - not doing thine (your) own ways,

2 - nor finding thine (your) own pleasure,

3 - nor speaking thine (your) own words:

[14] Then shall you delight yourself in Yehovah; and I will cause you to ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed you with the heritage of Jacob your father: for the mouth of Yehovah had spoken it.

Lev. 23 [3Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the Sabbath of restan "holy convocation"; ye shall do no work therein: it is the Sabbath of Yehovah in all your dwellings.

Today’s topic:

Small recap of the fall

Holy days and feast

that will be coming soon

As you read the information below you will see God has specific days for his feast and holy days.

These days are not at your convenience or any other day but the day God said in Scripture.

We keep these days with people that keep the commandments of God.

If you want to learn about the feasts there are other days we can teach you.

You have to keep the Sabbath first. The seventh month, ha ethanim has 4 extra Sabbaths.

We believe the fall feast and holy days coming pertain to the second coming of Messiah in someone’s lifetime in the future.

We do these days as a rehearsal.

Memorial of Trumpets, you better hear the trumpet

Day of Atonement, possibly be the day the Lord Yeshua comes back to earth again

Feast of Tabernacles, we hope to tabernacle of the Lord God throughout eternity

Our rationale is, if you Yeshua kept the spring feasts and holy days according to the Scriptures, why would he not keep the fall feast  and holy days according to the Scriptures?

The spring feasts and holy days are Passover, the feast of unleavened bread and feast of weeks (Pentecost)

Yeshua died on Passover, He is our Passover

1Cor.5 [7] Purge out therefore the old leaven, that you may be a new lump, as you are unleavened.

For even Messiah our passover is sacrificed for us.

[8] Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.

We do acknowledge resurrection Sunday, when Yeshua rose from the dead.

50 day later is the feast of weeks - Pentecost is when Yeshua comes back as the Holy Spirit

John 14: [18] I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you

Here is our list of the fall Feast and Holidays for 2024

Oct. 5 SaturdayMemorial of Trumpets, at our congregation

Oct. 14 MondayDay of Atonement, at our congregation

Oct. 19 to the 26, Sat. to Sat. Feast of Tabernacles, at our farm

Most people never heard of the feasts of Yehovah,

Lev. 23

[1] And Yehovah spoke unto Moses, saying,
[2] Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, Concerning the feasts of Yehovah which you shall proclaim to be holy convocations, even these are My feasts.

[3] Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the sabbath of rest, an holy convocation; you shall do no work therein: it is the sabbath of Yehovah in all your dwellings.

[4] These are the feasts of Yehovah, even holy convocations, which ye shall proclaim in their seasons.

The 7th month - ha Ethanim – 1 Kings 8:2

[23] And Yehovah spoke unto Moses, saying,
[24] Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, In the seventh month, in the first day of the month, shall you have a Sabbath, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, an holy convocation.
[25] You shall do no servile work therein: but you shall offer an offering made by fire unto Yehovah.

[26] And Yehovah spoke unto Moses, saying,
[27] Also on the tenth day of this seventh month there shall be a day of atonement: it shall be an holy convocation unto you; and you shall afflict your souls, and offer an offering made by fire unto Yehovah.
[28] And you shall do no work in that same day: for it is a day of atonement, to make an atonement for you before Yehovah your God.
[29] For whatsoever soul it be that shall not be afflicted in that same day, he shall be cut off from among his people.
[30] And whatsoever soul it be that doeth any work in that same day, the same soul will I destroy from among his people.
[31] You shall do no manner of work: it shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations in all your dwellings.
[32] It shall be unto you a Sabbath of rest, and you shall afflict your souls: in the ninth day of the month at even, from even unto even, shall you celebrate your Sabbath.

[33] And Yehovah spoke unto Moses, saying,
[34] Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, the fifteenth day of this seventh month shall be the feast of tabernacles for seven days unto Yehovah.
[35] On the first day shall be
an holy convocation: you shall do no servile work therein.
[36] Seven days you shall offer an offering made by fire unto Yehovah: on the eighth day shall be
an holy convocation unto you; and you shall offer an offering made by fire unto Yehovah: it is a solemn assembly; and you shall do no servile work therein.

[37] These are the feasts of Yehovah, which you shall proclaim to be holy convocations, to offer an offering made by fire unto Yehovah, a burnt offering, and a meat offering, a sacrifice, and drink offerings, everything upon his day:

[39] Also in the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when you have gathered in the fruit of the land, you shall keep a feast unto Yehovah seven days: on the first day shall be a Sabbath, and on the eighth day shall be a Sabbath.
[40] And you shall take you on the first day the boughs of goodly trees, branches of palm trees, and the boughs of thick trees, and willows of the brook; and you shall rejoice before Yehovah your God seven days.
[41] And you shall keep it a feast unto Yehovah seven days in the year. It shall be a statute forever in your generations: you shall celebrate it in the seventh month.
[42] You shall dwell in booths seven days; all that are Israelites born shall dwell in booths:
[43] That your generations may know that I made the children of Israel to dwell in booths, when I brought them out of the land of Egypt: I am Yehovah your God.
