Torah, Prophets and Writings (psalms)Ta Na Kk is an acronym for:

T = Torah (law, teachings) - first 5 books of Moses

N = Navieem or prophets (pl. sounds like - Na vi eem)

K = Ke'tuvim or writings (psalms etc.)

Today’s topic:

 Requirements to please Yehovah

 

Deut. 10 

[12] And now, Israel, what does Yehovah your God require of youbut to fear Yehovah your God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve Yehovah your God with all your heart and with all your soul, 

[13] To keep the commandments of Yehovah, and his statutes, which I command you this day for your good?

[14] Behold, the heaven and the heaven of heavens is Yehovah's your God, the earth also, with all that therein is.
[15] Only Yehovah had a delight in your fathers to love them, and he chose their seed after them, even you above all people, as it is this day.
[16] Circumcise therefore the foreskin of your heart, and be no more stiffnecked.
[17] For Yehovah your God is God of gods, and Lord of lords, a great God, a mighty, and a terrible, which regardeth not persons, nor taketh reward:
[18] He does execute the judgment of the fatherless and widow, and loveth the stranger, in giving him food and raiment.
[19] Love you therefore the stranger: for you were strangers in the land of Egypt.
[20You shall fear Yehovah your God; him shall thou serve, and to him shall thou cleave, and swear by his name.
[21] He is your praise, and he is your God, that have done for you these great and terrible things, which thine eyes have seen.
[22] Thy fathers went down into Egypt with threescore and ten persons; and now Yehovah your God have made you as the stars of heaven for multitude.

[8] He have showed you, O man, what is good; and what does Yehovah require of youbut to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God

God is my portion

Pss.73 [26] My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever.

Pss.119 [57] You are my portion, O Yehovah: I have said that I would keep your words.

Pss.142 [5] I cried unto you, O Yehovah: I said, You are my refuge and my portion in the land of the living.

Lam.3 [24] Yehovah is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him.

 

Most people will not inherit the kingdom of God:

Homosexuality, lesbianism and being effeminate is Sin.

You must REPENT.

homosexuality. Sexual orientation to persons of the same sex. Sexual activity with another of the same sex.

Lev.18 [22] Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.

 

Lev.20 [13] If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.

 

Exod.22 :19 Whosoever lies with a beast shall surely be put to death.

 

1 Cor.6:[9] Know you not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,

 

Gen. Chap. 13:13 But the men of Sodom [were] wicked and sinners before Yehovah exceedingly.

 

1Cor.6 [9] Know you not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God?

Be not deceived:

neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,[10] Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.

[11] And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.

 

Gal.5 [19] Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these;

Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,

20] Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,[21] Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like:

of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

2 Pet.2

Jude 1

[1] Jude, the servant of Yeshua the Messiah, and brother of James, to them that are sanctified by God the Father, and preserved in Yeshua the Messiah, and called:
[2] Mercy unto you, and peace, and love, be multiplied.
[3] Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.
[4] For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.
[5] I will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, how that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not.
[6] And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.
[7] Even as Sodom and Gomorrha
, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.
[8] Likewise also these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities.

[9] Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, Yehovah rebuke you.
[10] But these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves.
[11] Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core.
[12] These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds they are without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots;
[13] Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever.
[14] And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints,
[15] To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.
[16] These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaketh great swelling words, having men's persons in admiration because of advantage.
[17] But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah;
[18] How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts.
[19] These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit.
[20] But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,
[21] Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah unto eternal life.
[22] And of some have compassion, making a difference:
[23] And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.
[24] Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,
[25] To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.
