Today, we sadly use the Gregorian calendar from Pope Gregory; from
the 1500’s,
The date is July 2, 2022 (in the 21
Century)
July -- Julius Caesar's month
Middle English Julie
Latin Julius "Julius"
Latin Julius mensis
"month of Julius"
Latin quintilis mensis
"fifth month"
Quintilis (and later Julius) has always had 31 days.
Julius Caesar reformed the Roman calendar (hence the Julian calendar)
in 46 BC. In the process, he renamed this month after himself.
The God of Israel has His own Calendar:
We are
now in the 4th month of God which has no scriptural
name, day 2
Today’s Topic:
A review
What is sin?
Question: So why are we here today?
Answer: We were
told to remember the Sabbath Day to keep it holy.
The Sabbath is the 4th Commandment of the covenant given to us at
Mount Sinai in the 3rd month, Sivan.
Ex. 20 [8] Remember the Sabbath
day, to keep it holy.
זָכ֛וֹר֩
אֶת־י֥֙וֹם
הַשַּׁבָּ֖֜ת
לְקַדְּשֽׁ֗וֹ׃
זכר Remember
zâkar - zaw-kar' - A
primitive root; properly to mark (so as to be recognized),
that is, to remember; by implication
to mention; make mention of, be mindful,
recount, record (-er), remember, make to be
remembered, bring (call, come, keep, put) to (in) remembrance…
[9] Six days shall you labor, and do all your work:
****[10] But the seventh day is the Sabbath of Yehovah your God:
John says:
Rev.1 [10] I was in the Spirit on Yehovah's Day - (The Sabbath)
Back to Exod. 20:10
in it you shall not do any work, you, nor your son, nor your daughter, your manservant, nor your maidservant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger that is within your (your) gates:
[11] For in six days Yehovah made
heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh
day: wherefore Yehovah blessed
the Sabbath day,
and hallowed it.
The Sabbath is
not a service for an hour and a half, nor any day you might pick.
The Shabbat
is a 24 hour period on the seventh day.
The Sabbath started here for us:
Gen.2
[1] Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host
of them.
[2] And on the seventh day God ended his work which he
had made; and he rested on the seventh day from
all his work which he had made.
[3] And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because
that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.
Isa. 58 [13]
If you turn away your foot from the Sabbath, from doing your
pleasure on my holy day; and call the Sabbath a delight, the holy
of Yehovah, honorable; and shall honor him,
How?
1 - not doing your own ways,
2 - nor finding your own pleasure,
3 - nor speaking your own words:
[14] Then shall you delight thyself in Yehovah; and I will cause thee to ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed thee with the heritage of Jacob your father: for the mouth of Yehovah hath spoken it.
[6] Also the sons of the stranger, that join themselves to Yehovah,
to serve him, and to love the name of Yehovah, to be his
servants, every one that keeps the sabbath
from polluting it, and takes hold of my covenant;
[7] Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful
in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be
accepted upon mine altar; for mine house
shall be called an house of prayer for all people.
Lev. 23 [3] Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the Sabbath of rest, a "holy convocation"; you shall do no work therein: it is the Sabbath of Yehovah in all your dwellings.

[16] There dwelt men of Tyre also
therein, which brought fish, and all manner of ware, and sold on
the Sabbath unto
the children of Judah, and in Jerusalem. [17] Then I
contended with the nobles of Judah, and said unto them, what evil
thing is this that you do, and profane the Sabbath day?
מָֽה־הַדָּבָ֙ר הָרָ֤ע הַזֶּה֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר אַתֶּ֣ם עֹשִׂ֔ים

**Before you
can do the feasts properly, on the right day, you need to learn God’s calendar
Pss.104 [19] He appointed the moon for seasons: : the sun knows his going down.
עָשָׂ֣ה
יָ֭רֵחַ
לְמוֹעֲדִ֑ים
שֶׁ֜֗מֶשׁ

We,
today have to put ourselves in the children of Israel place in the wilderness,
looking up at the sky every 29 or so days to see the little silver of the moon,
on the right side of the moon to recognize a new month is here.
A
blacked out moon is not the “New Moon”
Sometimes
there are two days of blacked out moons in a month
Do
not follow a Judaism calendar, they are wrong
They
are unscriptural with made- up names and times
God’s
calendar
God’s
New Year
Exod.12 [2] This month shall be unto you the beginning of months: it shall be the first month of the year to you. (Happy New Year, around March)
12 months:
1. a Aviv / Nissan, Est. 3:7 - ha Aviv, Exodus 12:2 and
Exodus 13:4 - in English, scripture calls it Abib
2. Ziv - 1 Kings 6:1 calls it Zif - Not called Iyyar as Judaism states
3. Sivan - Esther 8:9
4. No scriptural name - Judaism uses Tammuz, it is Not the name of the 4th month as Judaism states - That is a false God
5. No
scriptural name
Judaism uses Av, it is unscriptural - This is not the name of the 5th month as Judaism states
6. - Elul is the name of the 6th month
Elul, seems like it is the name of the sixth month by the two verses below:
Neh.6 [15] So the wall was finished in the twenty and fifth day of the month Elul, in fifty and two days.
Neh.7 [73] So the
priests, and the Levites, and the porters, and the singers, and some of the
people, and the Nethinims, and all Israel, dwelt in
their cities; and when the seventh month came, the children of Israel were in
their cities.
We use September, Judaism uses Tishrei – God uses ha Ethanim
7. ha Ethanim - 1
Kings 8:2 - calls it ha Ethanim - Tishrei is
the wrong name as Judaism states
The first and the last letters of the Hebrew alphabet
God is the first and the last!
Ha Ethanim = “enduring” - the permanent brooks
הָאֵתָנִים- ha Ethanim
הָ Ha, the (the definite article)
אֵ aleph (first letter in Hebrew alphabet)
תָ tov (last letter in Hebrew alphabet)
נִים neem: permanent brooks
Ethanim = enduring - seventh month, corresponding end of Sept, Oct. - so named because permanent streams (of mercy) still flowed - plural of the word below:
איתן eythan -
perpetual, constant, perennial, ever-flowing, ever-flowing (of a stream),
permanence, permanent, enduring (figuratively)
8. Bool - 1 Kings 8:38 - In English, scripture calls it Bul - Not called Cheshvan or Mar Cheshvan as Judaism states
9. Chislev - Zach 7:1 - in English, scripture calls it Chisleu
10 Teveth - Esther 2:16 - in English, scripture calls it Tebeth
11. Sh’vat - Zach 1:7 - in English, scripture calls it Sebat
12. Adar -
Esther 3:7
Sometimes we have a leap
year, so Passover in not in the Winter
Next:
"7" other Sabbaths besides the weekly 7th day Sabbath
There are "7" other
holydays which are treated like a Sabbath
NO WORK - NO BUYING or SELLING
1 – 3 – 7
The 1st month, the 3rd month, and the 7th month
There are only 3 feasts and
holy days not 7
feasts
Lev. 23
The 1st month - 15th day
The feast of unleavened bread חַג הַמַּצּוֹת
1 *** [7] In the first day you shall have an holy convocation: you shall do no servile work therein.
בַּיּוֹם,
הָרִאשׁוֹן,
מִקְרָא-קֹדֶשׁ,
יִהְיֶה
לָכֶם;
כָּל-מְלֶאכֶת
עֲבֹדָה, לֹא
תַעֲשׂוּ
2 *** [8] But you shall offer an offering made by fire unto seven days: in the seventh day is an holy convocation: you shall do no servile work therein. 21th day
The 3rd month
The feast of weeks חַג הַשָּׁבֻעוֹת
(feast of harvest, Pentecost - Always on
Sunday or the first day)
3 *** [21] And you
shall proclaim on the selfsame day, that it may be an holy convocation unto
you: you shall do no servile work therein: it shall be a statute for ever in all
your dwellings throughout your generations.
Our rationale is:
If Yeshua fulfilled the
Spring
feasts and holy days right pertaining to the scriptures, (which was his first
coming)
Why would he not fulfill the fall feast
and holy days of the seventh month pertaining to the scriptures? (Possibility
his second coming, in someone’s life time)
The 7th month
You better hear the sound of the trumpet - get
ready
You better be atoned and forgiven of your sins
If you want to tabernacle with God for ever
Memorial of blowing of trumpets זִכְרוֹן תְּרוּעָה - 1st day
4 *** [24] Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, In the seventh month, in the first day of the month, shall you have a sabbath, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, an holy convocation.
[25] Ye shall do no servile work therein: but you
shall offer an offering made by fire unto .
The Day of Atonement - יוֹם הַכִּפֻּרִים 10th day
5 *** [27] Also on the tenth day of this seventh month there shall be a day of atonement: it shall be an holy convocation unto you; and you shall afflict your souls, and offer an offering made by fire unto.
[28] And you shall do no work in that same day: for it is a day of atonement, to make an atonement for you before your God.
[29] For whatsoever soul it be that shall not be afflicted in that same day, he shall be cut off from among his people.
[30] And whatsoever soul it be that doeth any work in that same
day, the same soul will I destroy from among his people.
[31] Ye shall do no manner of work: it shall be a statute for ever
throughout your generations in all your dwellings.
[32] It shall be unto you a Sabbath of rest, and you shall afflict your souls:
in the ninth day of the month at even, from even unto even, shall you celebrate
your Sabbath.
The feast of tabernacles חַג הַסֻּכּוֹת
6 *** [35] On the first day shall be an holy convocation: you shall do no servile work therein. 15th day
7 *** [36] Seven days you shall
offer an offering made by fire unto : on the eighth
day shall be an holy
convocation unto you; and you shall offer an offering made by fire unto : it is a
solemn assembly; and you shall do no servile work therein. 22nd day
Read the complete chapter of Lev. 23.
You will be able see the "7" others
Sabbaths in context.
Why doesn’t
any pseudo Christian ever talk about the 60 times in the
Gospels and letters it uses the word Sabbath!
The first day is mentioned only 2 times when they met for certain events in Acts and the letter to the Corinthians
It never says the 1st day replaced the 7th day as Sabbath
It never says the 1st day is a Commandment or a rest
Acts 20:7 And upon the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul preached unto them, ready to depart on the morrow; and continued his speech until midnight.
1
Corinthians 16:2 Upon the first day of the
week let every one of you lay by him in store, as God hath prospered
him, that there be no gatherings when I come.
In closing for today:
Review:
I went over the new moon to understand when a new month starts
I went over the Sabbath
I went over the “calendar of God” (months and names)
God’s New Year
I went over the 3 feasts and holy days of God (with 7 extra
Sabbaths)
The Gospels and letters are not the New Testament, Covenant
I spoke about the first and second returns of Messiah Yeshua
Remember; beware of
false websites and teachers that copy each other such as:
Protestant pastors, Judaism, fake rabbis, Messianic rabbis
Mat. 23 [8] But be not you called Rabbi: for one is
your Master, even Christ / Messiah; and all ye are brethren.
John 1 [38] Then Yeshua turned, and
saw them following, and said unto them, What seek you? They
said unto him, Rabbi, (which is to say,
being interpreted, Master,)
where dwell you?
Messianics that follow Judaism nor Messianics that follow Karaites
Protestant
teachers that follow Messianics that follow Karaites or
Judaism
As Paul cautioned the Colossians, I caution you:
Colossians 2:16:
Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holy day , or of the new moon, or of the Sabbath days: 17:
Which are a shadow of "things to come" (future tense); but the body is of Messiah / Christ.
Review:
judge - κρινω krino: to try to condemn, to separate, put asunder, to pick out, to be of opinion, judge, to pronounce an opinion concerning right and wrong, to contend, to dispute
Holy day - ορτη heorte -heh-or-tay' - a festival: - feast, holyday.
New moon - νουμηνία noumēnia - noo-may-nee'-ah - the new moon
Meat - βρῶσις brōsis - that which is eaten, clean food, some type of grain
Sabbath days - sabbaton - σάββατον - sab'-bat-on - Of Hebrew origin; the Sabbath, the day of weekly repose from secular avocations - Sabbath days: 7 Sabbaths in feasts.
Shadow - σκια skia : shadow,
an image cast by an object and representing the form of that object, a sketch,
outline
Shadows of "things to come"
3 harvests - 3 feasts (not 7 feasts)
Which is, Which was, Which is to come
The feasts and holy days of Yehovah are all
about the Messiah
May God bless all of us…
