Matt.25[
32] And before him shall be
gathered
all nations: and
he shall separate them one from another, as
a shepherd divideth his sheep from
the goats: [33
] And he shall set
the sheep on his right hand
, but the goats on the left.
Matt.7[
15] Beware of false prophets,
which come to you in sheep's
clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
Matt.9[
36] But when he saw
the multitudes, he was moved with compassion
on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad,
as sheep having no shepherd.
Matt.10[
5] These twelve Jesus sent forth,
and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the
Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not
:[6] But go rather
to the lost sheep of the house of Israel
.
[16] Behold,
I send you forth as sheep
in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents,
and harmless as doves.
Matt.15[
22] And, behold, a
woman of Canaan came out of the same
coasts, and cried unto him, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord, thou Son of David;
my daughter is grievously vexed with a devil.[23
] But he answered her not a word. And his disciples
came and besought him, saying, Send her away; for she crieth after us.[
24] But he answered and said,
I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of
Israel.
Matt.18[
12] How think ye? if a man have
an hundred sheep, and one of
them be gone astray, doth he not leave the ninety and nine, and goeth into
the mountains, and seeketh that which is gone astray? [
13] And if so be that he find it, verily
I say unto you, he rejoiceth more of that sheep
, than of the ninety and nine which went not astray.[
14] Even
so it is not the will of your Father which is in heaven, that one of these
little ones should perish.
Matt.26[
31] Then saith Jesus unto them,
All ye shall be offended because of me this night: for it is written, I will
smite the shepherd, and the sheep
of the flock shall be scattered abroad.
Mark.6[
34] And Jesus, when he came
out, saw much people, and was
moved with compassion toward them, because they were
as sheep not having a shepherd: and he began to teach
them many things.
Mark.14[
27] And Jesus saith unto them,
All ye shall be offended because of me this night: for it is written, I will
smite the shepherd, and the sheep
shall be scattered.
Luke.15[
4] What man of you, having an
hundred sheep, if he lose one
of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after
that which is lost, until he find it? [5
] And when he hath found it, he layeth it on his shoulders, rejoicing.[
6] And when he cometh home,
he calleth together his friends and neighbours, saying unto them, Rejoice with
me; for I have found my sheep
which was lost.[6
] And when he cometh home, he calleth together his friends and
neighbours, saying unto them, Rejoice with me; for I have found my sheep which
was lost.[7]
I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be
in heaven over one sinner that repenteth
, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need
no repentance.
John.10
[1] Verily,
verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold,
but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.
John.21[
16] He saith to him again the
second time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord;
thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him,
Feed my sheep.
[15
] So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son
of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou
knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him,
Feed my lambs.[
17] He saith unto him the third
time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said
unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest
all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him,
Feed my sheep.
Acts.8[
32] The place of the scripture
which he read was this, He was led as a sheep
to the slaughter; and like a lamb dumb before his shearer,
so opened he not his mouth:

sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as
sheep for the slaughter.

ye were as sheep going astray
; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop

1Pet.5[1
] The elders which are among you
I exhort, who am also an elder, and a witness of the sufferings
of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that shall be revealed:
Eph.4[
11] And he gave some,
apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists;
and some, pastors and teachers;[
12] For the perfecting of the saints,
for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
1Cor.12[
27] Now ye are the body of Christ,
and members in particular.[28
] And God hath set some in the church,
first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers
, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments,

them, and which may go in before them, and which may lead them out, and which
may bring them in; that the congregation of the LORD be not as
sheep which have no shepherd.

17] And he said,
I saw all Israel scattered upon the hills, as sheep that have
not a shepherd: and the LORD said, These have no master:
let them return every man to his house in peace.

, I did see all Israel scattered upon the mountains, as sheep
that have no shepherd: and the LORD said, These have

people hath been lost sheep:
their shepherds have caused them to go astray
, they have turned them away
on the mountains: they have gone from mountain to hill, they have forgotten
their restingplace.
Ezek.34[
12]
As a shepherd seeketh out his flock in the
day that he is among his sheep that are scattered; so will I seek out my sheep,
and will deliver them out of all places where they have been scattered in the
cloudy and dark day.
Zech.13[
7] Awake, O sword, against my

the shepherd, and the sheep
shall be scattered: and I will turn mine hand upon the little ones.
Jer.16[
19] O LORD, my strength, and
my fortress, and my refuge in the day of affliction,
the Gentiles shall come unto thee from the ends of the earth, and shall
say, Surely
our fathers have inherited lies, vanity, and things wherein there is no profit.

Gal.5
[15] But if
ye bite

Luke.17[1
] Then said he unto the disciples, It is impossible
but that offences will come: but woe unto him, through whom they come![
2] It were better for him that
a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that
he should offend one of these little ones.[3
] Take heed to yourselves: If thy
brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him.[4]
And if he trespass against thee
seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying,
I repent; thou shalt forgive him.
Matt.18[
21] Then came
Peter to him, and said,
Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive
him? till seven times?
[22] Jesus saith unto him, I say not
unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.
Matt.18[
23] Therefore is the kingdom

Amos.3
[3] Can two walk together, except they be agreed?
1Cor.2[
16] For who hath known the mind
of the Lord, that he may instruct
him? But we have the mind of Christ
.
1Cor.1[
10] Now I beseech you, brethren,
by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and
that there be no divisions among you

Rom.12[
16] Be of the

Phil.4[
2] I beseech Euodias, and beseech
Syntyche, that they be of the same mind

1Pet.4[
1] Forasmuch then as Christ

in the flesh hath ceased from sin;

6] That ye may with

2Cor.13[
11] Finally, brethren, farewell.
Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of
one mind, live in peace; and the God
of love and peace shall be with you.
Phil.1[
27] Only let your conversation
be as it becometh the gospel of Christ: that whether I come and see you, or
else be absent, I may hear of your affairs, that ye stand fast in
one spirit, with
one mind
striving together for the faith of the gospel;
Phil.2[
2] Fulfil ye my joy, that ye
be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of
one mind
.
1Pet.3[
8]
Finally, be ye all
of one mind, having compassion one of another,
love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous:[9] Not rendering evil for evil,
or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing;
knowing that ye are thereunto called, that
ye should inherit a blessing.
Luke.11[
34] The light of the body is
the eye: therefore when thine eye is single
, thy whole body also is full of light; but when thine
eye is evil, thy body also is full of darkness.[35
] Take heed therefore that the
light which is in thee be not darkness.[
36] If thy whole body therefore be
full of light, having no part dark, the whole shall be full of light, as when
the bright shining of a candle doth give thee light.
Beware of divisions
Rom.16[
17] Now I beseech you, brethren,
mark them which cause divisions and offences
contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid
them.
1Cor.1[
10] Now I beseech you, brethren,
by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and
that there be no divisions among
you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same
judgment.
1Cor.3[
3] For ye are yet carnal: for
whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and
divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men?
1Cor.11[
18] For first of all, when ye
come together in the church, I hear that there be division
s among you; and I partly believe it.

3John.1[

How to handle Elders
Jas.5[14] Is
any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them
pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:
1Tim.5
[1] Rebuke not an elder, but intreat him as a father; and the younger men
as brethren;
[17] Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of
double honour, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine.[18] For
the scripture saith, Thou shalt not muzzle the ox that treadeth out the corn.
And, The labourer is worthy of his reward.[19] Against an elder receive not
an accusation, but before two or three witnesses.
Heb.13
[17] Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they

[2] But he that
entereth in by the
door
is the shepherd of the sheep
.
[3] To him the porter openeth;
and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth
them out.
[4] And when he putteth forth
his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know
his voice.
[5] And a stranger will they
not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers.
[6] This parable spake Jesus
unto them: but they understood not what things they were which he spake unto
them.
[7] Then said Jesus unto them
again, Verily, verily, I say unto you,
I am the door of the sheep
.
[9]
I am the door:
[
[11]
I am the good shepherd
:
[
[13] The hireling fleeth, because
he is an hireling, and careth not for the sheep.
[14]
I am the good shepherd
, and know my sheep, and am known of mine.
[15] As the Father knoweth me,
even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep.
[16] And
other sheep I have,
which are not of this fold: them also I must bring,
and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be
one fold, and one shepherd.
[17] Therefore doth my Father
love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again.
[18] No man taketh it from me,
but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power
to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.
[19] There was a division therefore
again among the Jews for these sayings.
[20] And many of them said,
He hath a devil, and is mad; why hear ye him?
[21] Others said, These are
not the words of him that hath a devil. Can a devil open the eyes of the blind?
[22] And it was at Jerusalem
the feast of the dedication, and it was winter.
[23]
And Jesus walked in the temple in Solomon's porch.
[24] Then came the Jews round
about him, and said unto him, How long dost thou make us to doubt? If thou
be the Christ, tell us plainly.
[25] Jesus answered them, I
told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father's name, they
bear witness of me.
[26] But ye believe not,
because ye are not of my
sheep, as I said unto you.
[27]
My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow
me:
[28] And I give unto them eternal
life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of
my hand.
[29] My Father, which gave them
me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's
hand.
[30] I and my Father are one.
[2] Feed
the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight
thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready
mind;
[3] Neither as being lords over
God's heritage, but being ensamples to the flock.
[4] And when the chief Shepherd
shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away.
[5] Likewise, ye younger, submit
yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be
clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the
humble.
[6] Humble yourselves therefore
under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:
[7] Casting all your care upon
him; for he careth for you.
[24] And when he had begun to
reckon, one was brought unto him, which owed him ten thousand talents.
[25] But forasmuch as he had
not to pay, his lord commanded him to be sold, and his wife, and children,
and all that he had, and payment to be made.
[26] The servant therefore fell
down, and worshipped him, saying, Lord, have patience with me, and I will pay
thee all.
[27] Then the lord of that servant
was moved with compassion, and loosed him, and forgave him the debt.
[28] But the same servant went
out, and found one of his fellowservants, which owed him an hundred pence:
and he laid hands on him, and took him by the throat, saying, Pay me that thou
owest.
[29] And his fellowservant fell
down at his feet, and besought him, saying, Have patience with me, and I will
pay thee all.
[30] And he would not: but went
and cast him into prison, till he should pay the debt.
[31] So when his fellowservants
saw what was done, they were very sorry, and came and told unto their lord
all that was done.
[32] Then his lord, after that
he had called him, said unto him, O thou wicked servant, I forgave thee all
that debt, because thou desiredst me:
[33] Shouldest not thou also
have had compassion on thy fellowservant, even as I had pity on thee?
[34] And his lord was wroth,
and delivered him to the tormentors, till he should pay all that was due unto
him.
[35] So likewise shall my heavenly Father
do also unto you, if ye from your hearts forgive not every one his brother
their trespasses.
[10] To whom they all gave heed, from the least to the greatest, saying, This
man is the great power of God.
[11] And to him they had regard, because that of long time he had bewitched
them with sorceries.
[12]
But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of
God, and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women.
[13] Then
Simon himself believed also: and when
he was baptized, he continued with Philip, and wondered, beholding the miracles
and signs which were done.
[14] Now when the apostles which
were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent
unto them Peter and John:
[15] Who, when they were come
down, prayed for them, that they might receive the Holy Ghost:
[16] (For as yet he was fallen
upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.)
[17] Then laid they their hands
on them, and they received the Holy Ghost.
[18] And when Simon saw that through laying on of the
apostles' hands the Holy Ghost was given, he offered them money,
[19] Saying, Give me also this power, that on whomsoever I lay hands, he may
receive the Holy Ghost.
[20] But Peter said unto him, Thy money perish with thee, because thou hast
thought that the gift of God may be purchased with money.
[21] Thou hast neither part nor lot in this matter: for thy heart is not right
in the sight of God.
[22] Repent therefore of this thy wickedness, and pray God, if perhaps the
thought of thine heart may be forgiven thee.
[23] For I perceive that thou art in the gall of bitterness, and in the bond
of iniquity.
[24] Then answered Simon, and said, Pray ye to the Lord for me, that none of
these things which ye have spoken come upon me.
[2] Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God:
and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.
[3] For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then
not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise
of the same:
[4] For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which
is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister
of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil.
[5] Wherefore ye must needs be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience
sake.
