Shabbat Shalom
Sept. 9th , 2006 - 6th month, 15th day of God
Parshah: Ki Tavo - when thou art come
Torah portion Deut. 26 to 29
book of the law
Deut.17[ 18] And it shall be, when he sitteth upon the throne of his kingdom, that he shall write him a copy of this law in a book out of that which is before the priests the Levites:
------------------------------
Deut.28[ 58] If thou wilt not observe to do all the words of this law that are written in this book, that thou mayest fear this glorious and fearful name, THE LORD THY GOD;
[61] Also every sickness, and every plague, which is not written in the book of this law , them will the LORD bring upon thee, until thou be destroyed.
Deut.29[ 20] The LORD will not spare him, but then the anger of the LORD and his jealousy shall smoke against that man, and all the curses that are written in this book shall lie upon him, and the LORD shall blot out his name from under heaven. [21] And the LORD shall separate him unto evil out of all the tribes of Israel, according to all the curses of the covenant that are written in this book of the law :
[27] And the anger of the LORD was kindled against this land, to bring upon it all the curses that are written in this book:
---------------------------------
Deut.30[ 10] If thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to keep his commandments and his statutes which are written in this book of the law, and if thou turn unto the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul.
Deut.31[ 24] And it came to pass, when Moses had made an end of writing the words of this law in a book, until they were finished, [ 25] That Moses commanded the Levites, which bare the ark of the covenant of the LORD, saying, [ 26] Take this book of the law, and put it in the side of the ark of the covenant of the LORD your God, that it may be there for a witness against thee.
---------------------------------
Josh.1
[8]
This book of the law shall not depart
out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein
day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written
therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have
good success.
Dan.9
[10] Neither have we obeyed the voice of the LORD our God, to walk in his laws, which he set before us by his servants the prophets.
[11] Yea, all Israel have transgressed thy law, even by departing, that they might not obey thy voice; therefore the curse is poured upon us, and the oath that is written in the law of Moses the servant of God, because we have sinned against him.
[12] And he hath confirmed his words, which he spake against us, and against our judges that judged us, by bringing upon us a great evil: for under the whole heaven hath not been done as hath been done upon Jerusalem.
[13] As it is written in the law of Moses, all this evil is come upon us: yet made we not our prayer before the LORD our God, that we might turn from our iniquities, and understand thy truth.
Mal.4[
4]
Remember ye the law of Moses
my servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel,
with the statutes and judgments.
