Sarai - Sarah

Gen.11 [30 ] But Sarai was barren ; she had no child.

Gen.17 [15] And God said unto Abraham, As for Sarai thy wife, thou shalt not call her name Sarai, but Sarah shall her name be.[16] And I will bless her, and give thee a son also of her: yea, I will bless her, and she shall be a mother of nations; kings of people shall be of her.

Gen.17 [19] And God said, Sarah thy wife shall bear thee a son indeed; and thou shalt call his name Isaac : and I will establish my covenant with him for an everlasting covenant, and with his seed after him.

[21] But my covenant will I establish with Isaac, which Sarah shall bear unto thee at this set time in the next year.

Gen.21 [3] And Abraham called the name of his son that was born unto him, whom Sarah bare to him, Isaac .

Rebekah

Gen.24 [60] And they blessed Rebekah, and said unto her, Thou art our sister, be thou the mother of thousands of millions , and let thy seed possess the gate of those which hate them.

Gen.25 [20 ] And Isaac was forty years old when he took Rebekah to wife, the daughter of Bethuel the Syrian of Padan-aram, the sister to Laban the Syrian.[ 21] And Isaac intreated the LORD for his wife, because she was barren : and the LORD was intreated of him, and Rebekah his wife conceived.

Gen.25 [21] And Isaac intreated the LORD for his wife, because she was barren: and the LORD was intreated of him, and Rebekah his wife conceived .
[22] And the children struggled together within her; and she said, If it be so, why am I thus? And she went to inquire of the LORD.
[23] And the LORD said unto her,
Two nations are in thy womb, and two manner of people shall be separated from thy bowels; and the one people shall be stronger than the other people; and the elder shall serve the younger.
[24] And when her days to be delivered were fulfilled, behold, there were
twins in her womb.
[25] And the first came out red, all over like an hairy garment; and they called his name
Esau .
[26] And after that came his brother out, and his hand took hold on Esau's heel; and his name was called
Jacob : and Isaac was threescore years old when she bare them.
[27] And the boys grew: and Esau was a cunning hunter, a man of the field; and Jacob was a plain man, dwelling in tents.
[28] And Isaac loved Esau, because he did eat of his venison: but Rebekah loved Jacob.
[29] And Jacob sod pottage: and Esau came from the field, and he was faint:
[30] And Esau said to Jacob, Feed me, I pray thee, with that same red pottage; for I am faint: therefore was his name called Edom.

Rachel

Gen.29 [28 ] And Jacob did so, and fulfilled her week: and he gave him Rachel his daughter to wife also.
[
29] And Laban gave to Rachel his daughter Bilhah his handmaid to be her maid.
[
30] And he went in also unto Rachel, and he loved also Rachel more than Leah, and served with him yet seven other years.
[
31] And when the LORD saw that Leah was hated, he opened her womb: but Rachel was barren.

Gen.35 Now the sons of Jacob were twelve:
[23] The sons of Leah; Reuben, Jacob's firstborn, and Simeon, and Levi, and Judah, and Issachar, and Zebulun:
[24] The sons of
Rachel ; Joseph, and Benjamin:
[25] And the sons of
Bilhah, Rachel's handmaid; Dan, and Naphtali:
[26] And the sons of
Zilpah, Leah's handmaid; Gad, and Asher:

these are the sons of Jacob, which were born to him in Padan-aram.

Manoah' wife

Judg.13 [2 ] And there was a certain man of Zorah, of the family of the Danites, whose name was Manoah; and his wife was barren , and bare not. [3] And the angel of the LORD appeared unto the woman, and said unto her, Behold now, thou art barren , and bearest not: but thou shalt conceive, and bear a son.

Judg.13 [24] And the woman bare a son, and called his name Samson : and the child grew, and the LORD blessed him.

Judg.16 [ 30] And Samson said, Let me die with the Philistines. And he bowed himself with all his might; and the house fell upon the lords, and upon all the people that were therein. So the dead which he slew at his death were more than they which he slew in his life.
[
31] Then his brethren and all the house of his father came down, and took him, and brought him up, and buried him between Zorah and Eshtaol in the burying place of Manoah his father. And he judged Israel twenty years.

Hannah

1Sam.1 [1 ] Now there was a certain man of Ramathaim-zophim, of mount Ephraim , and his name was Elkanah, the son of Jeroham, the son of Elihu, the son of Tohu, the son of Zuph, an Ephrathite: [2 ] And he had two wives; the name of the one was Hannah, and the name of the other Peninnah: and Peninnah had children, but Hannah had no children .

[5] But unto Hannah he gave a worthy portion; for he loved Hannah: but the LORD had shut up her womb.
[6] And her adversary also provoked her sore, for to make her fret, because the LORD had shut up her womb.

1Sam.1 [20] Wherefore it came to pass, when the time was come about after Hannah had conceived, that she bare a son, and called his name Samuel, saying, Because I have asked him of the LORD.

1Sam.7 [15] And Samuel judged Israel all the days of his life

1Sam.25 [1] And Samuel died

Elisabeth

Luke.1 [5] There was in the days of Herod, the king of Judaea, a certain priest named Zacharias , of the course of Abia: and his wife was of the daughters of Aaron, and her name was Elisabeth.
[6] And they were both righteous before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless.
[7] And they had no child, because that Elisabeth was barren, and they both were now well stricken in years.

[13] But the angel said unto him, Fear not, Zacharias: for thy prayer is heard; and thy wife Elisabeth shall bear thee a son, and thou shalt call his name John .
[14] And thou shalt have joy and gladness; and many shall rejoice at his birth.
[15] For he shall be great in the sight of the Lord, and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink; and he shall be filled with the Holy Ghost, even from his mother's womb.
[16] And many of the children of Israel shall he turn to the Lord their God.
[17] And he shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elias, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just; to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.

Luke.1 [76 ] And thou, child, shalt be called the prophet of the Highest : for thou shalt go before the face of the Lord to prepare his ways;

Mary

Luke.1 [27] To a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin's name was Mary.[28] And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women.

[30] And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God.
[
31] And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS.

32] He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David:

34] Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man?
