שַׁבָּת שָׁלוֹם
Today, we use the Gregorian calendar from Pope Gregory; from the 1500’s,
Today is February 13th, 2021
February -- month of Februa
Latin dies februatus "day of purification"
Februarius had 28 days, until 450 BC when it had 23 or 24 days on some of every second year, until Julius when it had 29 days on every fourth year and 28 days otherwise.
This month had 27 days until the month was abolished by Julius.
Februa is the Roman festival of purification held on February fifteenth. It is possibly of Sabine origin.
Sabine, member of an ancient Italic tribe located in the mountainous country east of the Tiber River. They were known for their religious practices and beliefs, and several Roman institutions were said to have derived from them.
Yehovah God has His own calendar, which is deleted from the world
We are now in the eleventh month, which is the month Sebat… שְׁבָט Sh’vat, day 30 - Part o Jan. / Feb. 2021
Zech.1 [7] Upon the four and twentieth day of the eleventh month, which is the month Sebat… שְׁבָט Sh’vat

This Saturday evening
starts Adar, the 12 month in the scriptures.
We then will read the Book of Esther Soon.
Esth.3 [7] ….the twelfth month, that is, the month Adar = “glorious” אֲדָר
דָר means to dwell, live
I see by this word Adar, when broken down, can convey a message that the "invisible, glorious God" wants to dwell among us and in us.
In the Book of Esther, the Hebrew the word "Esther" means "star" but the root of the word "Esther" is "satar" and means "hidden".
The words, God and Lord do not appear in the book of Esther, they are "hidden or silent".
Purim is coming…

Here are a few:
Gen.15
[1] After these
things the word of Yehovah came unto Abram in
a vision, saying, Fear
not, Abram: I am your shield, and your exceeding great
reward.
Gen.46
[2] … God spoke unto Israel in the visions of the night, and
said, Jacob, Jacob. And he said, Here am I. [3] And he said, I am God,
the God of your father: fear not to go down into Egypt; for I will there make
of you a great nation:
[4] I will go down with you into Egypt; and I will also surely bring you
up again: and Joseph shall put his hand upon your eyes.
Num.12
[1] And Miriam and Aaron spoke against Moses because of the
Ethiopian woman whom he had married: for he had married an Ethiopian woman.
[2] And they said, Had Yehovah
indeed spoken only by Moses? had he not spoken
also by us? And Yehovah
heard it.
[3] (Now the man Moses was very meek, above all the men which
were upon the face of the earth.)
[4] And Yehovah
spoke suddenly unto Moses, and unto Aaron, and unto Miriam, Come out you three
unto the tabernacle of the congregation. And they three came out.
[5] And Yehovah
came down in the pillar of the cloud, and stood in the door of the tabernacle,
and called Aaron and Miriam: and they both came forth.
[6] And He said, hear now my
words: If there be a prophet among you,
I Yehovah
will make myself known unto him in a vision, and will speak unto him in a dream.
[7] My servant Moses is not so, who is faithful in all mine
house.
[8] With him will I speak mouth to mouth, even apparently, and not in
dark speeches; and the similitude of Yehovah shall he behold: wherefore then were
you not afraid to speak against my servant Moses?
[9] And the anger of Yehovah
was kindled against them; and he departed.
Num.24
[1] And when Balaam saw that it pleased Yehovah to bless Israel, he
went not, as at other times, to seek for enchantments, but he set his face
toward the wilderness.
[2] And Balaam lifted up his eyes, and he saw Israel abiding in his
tents according to their tribes; and the spirit of God came upon him.
[3] And he took up his parable, and said, Balaam the son of Beor had
said, and the man whose eyes are open had said:[4] He had said, which
heard the words of God, which saw the vision of the Almighty,
falling into a trance, but having
his eyes open: [5] How goodly are your tents, O Jacob, and your
tabernacles, O Israel!
[6] As the valleys are they spread forth, as gardens by the river's
side, as the trees of align aloes which Yehovah had planted, and as
cedar trees beside the waters.
[7] He shall pour the water out of his buckets, and his seed shall be in
many waters, and his king shall be higher than Agag, and his kingdom shall
be exalted.
[8] God brought him forth out of Egypt; he had as it were the strength
of an
unicorn: he shall eat up the nations his enemies, and shall break their bones,
and pierce them through with his arrows.
[9] He couched, he lay down as a lion, and as
a great lion: who shall stir him up? Blessed is he that blesseth you, and cursed is
he that curseth
you.
[10] And Balak's
anger was kindled against Balaam, and he smote his hands together: and Balak said
unto Balaam, I called you to curse mine enemies, and, behold, you hast
altogether blessed them these three times.
[11] Therefore now flee you to your place: I thought to promote you unto
great honor; but, lo, Yehovah
had kept you back from honor.
[12] And Balaam said unto Balak, Spoke I not also to your messengers
which you sentest
unto me, saying,
[13] If Balak
would give me his house full of silver and gold, I cannot go beyond the
commandment of Yehovah,
to do either good or bad of mine own mind; but what Yehovah says, that will I
speak?
[14] And now, behold, I go unto my people: come therefore, and I will
advertise you what this people shall do to your people in the latter days.
[15] And he took up his parable, and said, Balaam the son of Beor had
said, and the man whose eyes are open had said:
[16] He had said, which heard the words of God, and knew the knowledge
of the most High, which saw the vision
of the Almighty, falling into a trance, but having his eyes open:
[17] I shall see him, but not now: I shall behold him, but not nigh:
there shall come a Star out of Jacob, and a Sceptre shall rise out of
Israel, and shall smite the corners of Moab, and destroy all the children of Sheth.
[18] And Edom shall be a possession, Seir also shall be a
possession for his enemies; and Israel shall do valiantly.
[19] Out of Jacob shall come he that shall have dominion, and shall
destroy him that remains of the city [20] And when he looked on Amalek,
he took up his parable, and said, Amalek was the first of the nations; but his
latter end shall be that he perishes forever.
[21] And he looked on the Kenites, and took up his parable, and said,
Strong is your dwelling place, and you put
your nest in a rock.
[22] Nevertheless the Kenite
shall be wasted, until Asshur
shall carry you away captive.
[23] And he took up his parable, and said, Alas, who shall live when God
doeth this!
[24] And ships shall come from the coast of Chittim, and shall afflict Asshur,
and shall afflict Eber,
and he also shall perish forever.
[25] And Balaam rose up, and went and returned to his place: and Balak
also went his way.
1Sam.3
[1] And the child Samuel ministered unto Yehovah
before Eli. And the word of Yehovah
was precious in those days; there was
no open vision.
[2] And it came to pass at that time, when Eli was laid down in his
place, and his eyes began to wax dim, that he could not see;
[3] And ere the lamp of God went out in the temple of Yehovah,
where the ark of God was, and Samuel was laid down to sleep;
[4] That Yehovah
called Samuel: and he answered, Here am I.
[5] And he ran unto Eli, and said, Here am I;
for you called me. And he said, I called not;
lie down again. And he went and lay down.
[6] And Yehovah
called yet again, Samuel. And Samuel arose and went to Eli, and said, Here
am I; for you didst call me. And he answered, I called not, my son; lie down
again.
[7] Now Samuel did not yet know Yehovah, neither was the
word of Yehovah
yet revealed unto him.
[8] And Yehovah
called Samuel again the third time. And he arose and went to Eli, and said,
here am I; for you didst call me. And Eli perceived that Yehovah had called the
child.
[9] Therefore Eli said unto Samuel, Go, lie
down: and it shall be, if he call you, that you shall say, Speak, Yehovah;
for your servant hears. So Samuel went and lay down in his place.
[10] And Yehovah
came, and stood, and called as at other times, Samuel, Samuel. Then Samuel
answered, Speak; for your servant hears.
[11] And Yehovah
said to Samuel, Behold, I will do a thing in Israel, at which both the ears of
every one that hears it
shall tingle.
[12] In that day I will perform against Eli all things which I have
spoken concerning his house: when I begin, I will also make an end.
[13] For I have told him that I will judge his house for ever for the
iniquity which he knows; because his sons made themselves vile, and he
restrained them not.
[14] And therefore I have sworn unto the house of Eli, that the iniquity
of Eli's house shall not be purged with sacrifice nor offering forever.
[15] And Samuel lay until the morning, and opened the doors of the house
of Yehovah.
And Samuel feared to show Eli the vision.
[16] Then Eli called Samuel, and said, Samuel, my son. And he answered,
Here am I.
[17] And he said, What is the thing that Yehovah had said unto you?
I pray you hide it not from me: God do so to you,
and more also, if you hide anything from me of all the things that he said unto
you.
[18] And Samuel told him every whit, and hid nothing from him. And he
said, It
is Yehovah:
let him do what seems him good.
[19] And Samuel grew, and Yehovah was with him, and did let none of his
words fall to the ground.
[20] And all Israel from Dan even to Beer-sheba knew that Samuel was
established to be a prophet of Yehovah.
[21] And Yehovah
appeared again in Shiloh: for Yehovah
revealed himself to Samuel in Shiloh by the word of Yehovah.
2Sam.7
[17] According to
all these words, and according to all this vision, so did Nathan
speak unto David.
1Chr.17
[1] Now it came to pass, as David sat in his house, that
David said to Nathan the prophet, Lo, I dwell in an
house of cedars, but the ark of the covenant of Yehovah remains under
curtains.
[2] Then Nathan said unto David, Do all that is in your heart; for God
is with you.
[3] And it came to pass the same night, that the word of God came to
Nathan, saying,
[4] Go and tell David my servant, Thus says Yehovah, Thou shall not
build me an house to dwell in:
[5] For I have not dwelt in an house since the day that I brought up
Israel unto this day; but have gone from tent to tent, and from one tabernacle
to another.
[6] Where so ever I have walked with all Israel, spoke I
a word to any of the judges of Israel, whom I commanded to feed my people,
saying, Why have you not built me an house of cedars?
[7] Now therefore thus shall you say unto my servant David, Thus says Yehovah
of hosts, I took you from the sheepcote, even from following the sheep, that
you should be ruler over my people Israel:
[8] And I have been with you whithersoever you hast walked, and have cut
off all your enemies from before you, and have made you a name like the name of
the great men that are in the earth.
[9] Also I will ordain a place for my people Israel, and will plant
them, and they shall dwell in their place, and shall be moved no more; neither
shall the children of wickedness waste them anymore, as at the beginning,
[10] And since the time that I commanded judges to be over my people
Israel. Moreover I will subdue all your enemies. Furthermore I tell you that Yehovah
will build you an house.
[11] And it shall come to pass, when your days be
expired that you must go to be with your fathers, that I will raise up your
seed after you, which shall be of your sons; and I will establish his kingdom.
[12] He shall build me a house, and I will establish his throne forever.
[13] I will be his father, and he shall be my son: and I will not take
my mercy away from him, as I took it from him that was before you:
[14] But I will settle him in mine house and in my kingdom for ever: and
his throne shall be established for evermore.
[15] According to all these words, and according to all this vision, so
did Nathan speak unto David.
2Chr.9
[29] Now the rest
of the acts of Solomon, first and last, are they not written in the book of
Nathan the prophet, and in the prophecy of Ahijah the Shilonite,
and in the visions of Iddo the seer against Jeroboam the son of Nebat?
2Chr.26
[1] Then all the people of Judah took Uzziah, who was sixteen
years old, and made him king in the room of his father Amaziah.
[2] He built Eloth,
and restored it to Judah, after that the king slept with his fathers.
[3] Sixteen years old was Uzziah when he began to reign, and he reigned
fifty and two years in Jerusalem. His mother's name also was Jecoliah
of Jerusalem.
[4] And he did that which was right in the sight of Yehovah, according to all
that his father Amaziah
did.[5] And he sought God in
the days of Zechariah, who had understanding in the visions of
God: and as long as he sought Yehovah, God made him to prosper.
2Chr.32
[32] Now the rest
of the acts of Hezekiah, and his goodness, behold, they are written in the vision of Isaiah the prophet, the son of Amoz,
and in the book of the kings of Judah and Israel.
Job.33
[14] For God speaketh
once, yea twice, yet man perceives it not.
[15]
In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falls upon men, in
slumbering upon the bed;
[16] Then he opens the ears of men, and seals their instruction,
[17] That he may withdraw man from his purpose, and hide pride from man.
[18] He keeps back his soul from the pit, and his life from perishing by
the sword.
Pss.89
[18] For Yehovah
is our defense; and the Holy One of Israel is our king.
[19] Then you spoke in vision to your holy one, and said, I have laid
help upon one that is mighty; I have exalted one chosen out of the people.
[20] I have found David my servant; with my holy oil have I anointed him:
[21] With whom my hand shall be established: mine arm also shall
strengthen him.
Prov.29
[18] Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keeps the law, happy is he.
Isa.1
[1] The vision of
Isaiah the son of Amoz,
which he saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings
of Judah.
Isa.21
[1] The burden of the desert of the sea. As whirlwinds in the south pass through; so it cometh from the desert, from a terrible land.[2] A grievous vision is declared unto me; the treacherous dealer deals treacherously, and the spoiler spoils. Go up, O Elam: besiege, O Media; all the sighing thereof have I made to cease. [3] Therefore are my loins filled with pain: pangs have taken hold upon me, as the pangs of a woman that travails: I was bowed down at the hearing of it; I was dismayed at the seeing of it.
Isa.22
[1] The burden of
the valley of vision. What ails you now, that you are wholly gone up
to the housetops? [2] You that are full of stirs, a tumultuous city, a
joyous city: your slain men are not slain with the sword, nor dead in battle.
[3] All your rulers are fled together, they are bound by the archers:
all that are found in you are bound together, which have fled from far.
[4] Therefore said I, Look away from me; I will weep bitterly, labor not
to comfort me, because of the spoiling of the daughter of my people.
[5] For it is a
day of trouble, and of treading down, and of perplexity by the Lord Yehovah
of hosts in the valley of vision, breaking down the
walls, and of crying to the mountains.
Isa.28
[7] But they also
have erred through wine, and through strong drink are out of the way; the
priest and the prophet have erred through strong drink, they are swallowed up
of wine, they are out of the way through strong drink; they
err in vision, they stumble
in judgment.
Isa.29
[1] Woe to Ariel, to Ariel, the city where David dwelt! Add
you year to year; let them kill sacrifices.
[2] Yet I will distress Ariel, and there shall be heaviness and sorrow:
and it shall be unto me as Ariel.
[3] And I will camp against you round about, and will lay siege against
you with a mount, and I will raise forts against you.
[4] And you shall be brought down, and shall speak out of the ground,
and your speech shall be low out of the dust, and your voice shall be, as of
one that had a familiar spirit, out of the ground, and your speech shall
whisper out of the dust.
[5] Moreover the multitude of your strangers shall be like small dust,
and the multitude of the terrible ones shall be as chaff that passes away: yea,
it shall be at an instant suddenly.
[6] Thou shall be visited of Yehovah of hosts with thunder, and with
earthquake, and great noise, with storm and tempest, and the flame of devouring
fire.
[7] And the multitude of all the nations that fight against Ariel, even
all that fight against her and her munition, and that
distress her, shall be as a dream of a
night vision.
[8] It shall even be as when an hungry man dreams, and, behold, he eats;
but he awakes, and his soul is empty: or as when a thirsty man dreams, and,
behold, he drinks; but he awakes, and, behold, he is faint, and his soul had
appetite: so shall the multitude of all the nations be, that fight against
mount Zion.
[9] Stay yourselves, and wonder; cry you out, and cry: they are drunken,
but not with wine; they stagger, but not with strong drink.
[10] For Yehovah
had poured out upon you the spirit of deep sleep, and had closed your eyes: the
prophets and your rulers, the seers had he covered.
[11] And the vision of all is
become unto you as the words of a book that is sealed, which men deliver to one
that is learned, saying, Read this, I pray you: and he says, I cannot; for it
is sealed:
[12] And the book is delivered to him that is not learned, saying, Read
this, I pray you: and he says, I am not learned.
[13] Wherefore the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people draw near me with
their mouth, and with their lips do honour me, but have removed their heart far
from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men:
[14] Therefore, behold, I will proceed to do a marvelous work among this
people, even a marvelous work and a wonder: for the wisdom of their wise men
shall perish, and the understanding of their prudent men shall be hid.
[15] Woe unto them that seek deep to hide their counsel from Yehovah,
and their works are in the dark, and they say, Who
sees us? And who knows us?
[16] Surely your turning of things upside down shall be esteemed as the
potter's clay: for shall the work say of him that made it, He made me not? or
shall the thing framed say of him that framed it, He had no understanding?
[17] Is it not yet a very little while, and Lebanon shall be turned into
a fruitful field, and the fruitful field shall be esteemed as a forest?
[18] And in that day shall the deaf hear the words of the book, and the
eyes of the blind shall see out of obscurity, and out of darkness.
[19] The meek also shall increase their joy in Yehovah, and the poor among
men shall rejoice in the Holy One of Israel.
[20] For the terrible one is brought to naught, and the scorner is
consumed, and all that watch for iniquity are cut off:
[21] That make a man an offender for a word, and lay a snare for him
that reproveth
in the gate, and turn aside the just for a thing of naught.
[22] Therefore thus says Yehovah, who redeemed Abraham, concerning the
house of Jacob, Jacob shall not now be ashamed, neither shall his face now wax
pale.
[23] But when he sees his children, the work of mine hands, in the midst
of him, they shall sanctify my name, and sanctify the Holy One of Jacob, and
shall fear the God of Israel.
[24] They also that erred in spirit shall come to understanding, and
they that murmured shall learn doctrine.
Jer.14
[14] Then Yehovah said unto me, The prophets prophesy lies in my name: I sent them not, neither have I commanded them, neither spoke unto them: they prophesy unto you a false vision and divination, and a thing of naught, and the deceit of their heart. [15] Therefore thus says Yehovah concerning the prophets that prophesy in my name, and I sent them not, yet they say, Sword and famine shall not be in this land; by sword and famine shall those prophets be consumed.
Jer.23
[16] Thus says Yehovah
of hosts, Hearken not unto the words of the prophets that prophesy unto you:
they make you vain: they speak a vision of their own heart,
and not out of the mouth of Yehovah.
Lam.2
[9] Her gates are
sunk into the ground; he had destroyed and broken her bars: her king and her
princes are among the Gentiles: the law is no more; her prophets also find no vision from
Yehovah.
Many visions here:
Ezek.1
[1] Now it came
to pass in the thirtieth year, in the fourth month, in the fifth day of the
month, as I was among the captives by the river of Chebar, that the heavens
were opened, and I saw visions of God.
Ezek.7
[1] Moreover the word of Yehovah came unto me,
saying,
[2] Also, you son of man, thus says the Lord Yehovah unto the land of
Israel; An end, the end is come upon the four corners of the land.
[3] Now is the end come upon you, and I will send mine anger upon you,
and will judge you according to your ways, and will recompense upon you all
your abominations.
[4] And mine eye shall not spare you, neither will I have pity: but I
will recompense your ways upon you, and your abominations shall be in the midst
of you: and you shall know that I am Yehovah.
[5] Thus says the Lord Yehovah;
An evil, an only evil, behold, is come.
[6] An end is come, the end is come: it watches for you; behold, it is
come.
[7] The morning is come unto you, O you that dwell in the land: the time
is come, the day of trouble is near, and not the sounding again of the
mountains.
[8] Now will I shortly pour out my fury upon you, and accomplish mine
anger upon you: and I will judge you according to your ways, and will
recompense you for all your abominations.
[9] And mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity: I will
recompense you according to your ways and your abominations that are in the
midst of you; and you shall know that I
am Yehovah
that smites.
[10] Behold the day, behold, it is come: the morning is gone forth; the
rod had blossomed, pride had budded.
[11] Violence is risen up into a rod of wickedness: none of them shall remain,
nor of their multitude, nor of any of theirs: neither shall there be wailing
for them.
[12] The time is come, the day draw near: let not the buyer rejoice,
nor the seller mourn: for wrath is upon all the multitude thereof.
[13] For the seller shall not return to that which is sold, although
they were yet alive: for the vision is
touching the whole multitude thereof, which shall not return; neither shall any
strengthen himself in the iniquity of his life.
[14] They have blown the trumpet, even to make all ready; but none goeth to
the battle: for my wrath is upon all the multitude
thereof.
[15] The sword is without, and the pestilence and the famine within: he
that is in the field shall die with the sword; and he that is in the city,
famine and pestilence shall devour him.
[16] But they that escape of them shall escape, and shall be on the
mountains like doves of the valleys, all of them mourning, every one for his
iniquity.
[17] All hands shall be feeble, and all knees shall be weak as water.
[18] They shall also gird themselves with sackcloth, and horror shall
cover them; and shame shall be upon all faces, and baldness upon all their
heads.
[19] They shall cast their silver in the streets, and their gold shall
be removed: their silver and their gold shall not be able to deliver them in
the day of the wrath of Yehovah:
they shall not satisfy their souls, neither fill
their bowels: because it is the stumbling block of their iniquity.
[20] As for the beauty of his ornament, he set it in majesty: but they made
the images of their abominations and of their detestable things therein:
therefore have I set it far from them.
[21] And I will give it into the hands of the strangers for a prey, and
to the wicked of the earth for a spoil; and they shall pollute it.
[22] My face will I turn also from them, and they
shall pollute my secret place: for the robbers shall enter into it, and defile
it.
[23] Make a chain: for the land is full of bloody crimes, and the city
is full of violence.
[24] Wherefore I will bring the worst of the heathen, and they shall
possess their houses: I will also make the pomp of the strong to cease; and
their holy places shall be defiled.
[25] Destruction cometh; and they shall seek peace, and there shall be
none.
[26] Mischief shall come upon mischief, and rumor shall be upon rumor; then shall they seek a vision of the
prophet; but the law shall perish from the priest, and counsel from the
ancients.
[27] The king shall mourn, and the prince shall be clothed with
desolation, and the hands of the people of the land shall be troubled: I will
do unto them after their way, and according to their deserts will I judge them;
and they shall know that I am Yehovah.
Ezek.8
[1] And it came to pass in the sixth year, in the sixth
month, in the fifth day of the month, as I sat in mine house, and the elders of
Judah sat before me, that the hand of the Lord Yehovah fell there upon me.
[2] Then I beheld, and lo a likeness as the appearance of fire: from the
appearance of his loins even downward, fire; and from his
loins even upward, as the appearance of brightness, as the color of amber.
[3] And he put forth the form of an hand, and took me by a lock of mine
head; and the spirit lifted me up between the earth and the heaven, and brought me in the visions of God to
Jerusalem, to the door of the inner gate that looks toward the north; where
was the seat of the image of jealousy, which provoks to jealousy.
[4] And, behold, the glory of the God of Israel was there,
according to the vision that I saw in the plain.
[5] Then said he unto me, Son of man, lift up your eyes now the way
toward the north. So I lifted up mine eyes the way toward the north, and behold
northward at the gate of the altar this image of jealousy in the entry.
[6] He said furthermore unto me, Son of man, see you what they do, even
the great abominations that the house of Israel commits here, that I should go
far off from my sanctuary? But turn you yet again, and you shall see greater
abominations.
[7] And he brought me to the door of the court; and when I looked, behold
a hole in the wall.
[8] Then said he unto me, Son of man, dig now in the wall: and when I
had digged
in the wall, behold a door.
[9] And he said unto me, Go in, and behold the wicked abominations that
they do here.
[10] So I went in and saw; and behold every form of creeping things, and
abominable beasts, and all the idols of the house of Israel, portrayed upon the
wall round about.
[11] And there stood before them seventy men of
the ancients of the house of Israel, and in the midst of them stood Jaazaniah
the son of Shaphan,
with every man his censer in his hand; and a thick cloud of incense went up.
[12] Then said he unto me, Son of man, hast you seen what the ancients
of the house of Israel do in the dark, every man in the chambers of his
imagery? for
they say, Yehovah
sees us not; Yehovah
had forsaken the earth.
[13] He said also unto me, Turn you yet again, and you shall see greater
abominations that they do.
[14] Then he brought me to the door of the gate of Yehovah's house which was
toward the north; and, behold, there sat women weeping for Tammuz.
[15] Then said he unto me, have you seen this, O son of man? turn
you yet again, and you shall see greater abominations than these.
[16] And he brought me into the inner court of Yehovah's house, and,
behold, at the door of the temple of Yehovah, between the porch and the altar, were
about five and twenty men, with their backs toward the temple of Yehovah,
and their faces toward the east; and they worshipped the sun toward the east.
[17] Then he said unto me, have you seen this, O son of man? Is it a
light thing to the house of Judah that they commit the abominations which they
commit here? for
they have filled the land with violence, and have returned to provoke me to
anger: and, lo, they put the branch to their nose.
[18] Therefore will I also deal in fury: mine eye shall not spare,
neither will I have pity: and though they cry in mine ears with a loud voice,
yet will I not hear them.
Ezek.11
[24] Afterwards the spirit took me up, and brought me in a vision by the Spirit of God into Chaldea, to them of the captivity. So the vision that I had seen went up from me. [25] Then I spoke unto them of the captivity all the things that Yehovah had showed me.
Ezek.12
[22] Son of man,
what is that proverb that you have in the land of Israel, saying, The
days are prolonged, and every vision fails?
[23] Tell them
therefore, Thus says the Lord Yehovah;
I will make this proverb to cease, and they shall no more use it as a proverb
in Israel; but say unto them, The days are at hand, and the effect of every vision.
[24] For there
shall be no more any vain vision nor
flattering divination within the house of Israel.
[25] For I am Yehovah: I will speak, and the word that I
shall speak shall come to pass; it shall be no more prolonged: for in your
days, O rebellious house, will I say the word, and will perform it, says the
Lord Yehovah.
[26] Again the word of Yehovah
came to me, saying,
[27] Son of man,
behold, they of the house of Israel say, The vision that he
sees is for many days to come, and he prophesieth of the times
that are far off.
Ezek.13
[1] And the word of Yehovah came unto me,
saying,
[2] Son of man, prophesy against the prophets of Israel that prophesy,
and say you unto them that prophesy out of their own hearts, Hear you the word
of Yehovah;
[3] Thus says the Lord Yehovah;
Woe unto the foolish prophets, that follow their own spirit, and have seen
nothing!
[4] O Israel, your prophets are like the foxes in the deserts.
[5] You have not gone up into the gaps, neither made up the hedge for
the house of Israel to stand in the battle in the day of Yehovah.
[6] They have seen vanity and lying divination, saying, Yehovah
says: and Yehovah
had not sent them: and they have made others to hope that they would confirm
the word.
[7] Have you not
seen a vain vision, and have you not spoken a lying divination,
whereas you say, Yehovah
says it; albeit I have not spoken?
[16] To wit, the prophets of Israel which prophesy concerning Jerusalem, and which see visions of peace for her, and there is no peace, says the Lord Yehovah. [17] Likewise, you son of man, set your face against the daughters of your people, which prophesy out of their own heart; and prophesy you against them, [18] And say, Thus says the Lord Yehovah; Woe to the women that sew pillows to all armholes, and make kerchiefs upon the head of every stature to hunt souls! Will you hunt the souls of my people, and will you save the souls alive that come unto you?
Ezek.40
[1] In the five and twentieth year of our captivity, in the
beginning of the year, in the tenth day of the month, in the fourteenth year
after that the city was smitten, in the selfsame day the hand of Yehovah
was upon me, and brought me thither.
[2] In the visions
of God brought he me into the land of Israel, and set
me upon a very high mountain, by which was as the frame of a city on the south.
Ezek.43
[1] Afterward he brought me to the gate, even the gate that
looks toward the east:
[2] And, behold, the glory of the God of Israel came from the way of the
east: and his voice was like a noise of many waters: and the earth shined with
his glory.
[3] And it was
according to the appearance of the vision which I saw, even
according to the vision that I saw when I came to destroy the
city: and the visions were like the vision that I
saw by the river Chebar;
and I fell upon my face. [4] And the glory of Yehovah came into the house
by the way of the gate whose prospect is toward the east.
[5] So the spirit took me up, and brought me into the inner court; and,
behold, the glory of Yehovah
filled the house.
[6] And I heard him speaking unto me out of the house; and the man stood
by me.
Many visions in Daniel
Dan.1
[17] As for these
four children, God gave them knowledge and skill in all learning and wisdom:
and Daniel had understanding in all visions and dreams.
Dan.2
[19] Then was the
secret revealed unto Daniel in a night vision. Then Daniel blessed
the God of heaven.
[28] But there is a God in heaven that reveals
secrets, and makes known to the king Nebuchadnezzar what shall be in the
latter days. Your dream, and the visions of your head upon
your bed, are these…
Dan.4
[5] I saw a dream
which made me afraid, and the thoughts upon my bed and the visions of my
head troubled me.
[9] O Belteshazzar,
master of the magicians, because I know that the spirit of the holy gods is in
you, and no secret troubleth
you, tell me the visions of my dream that I have seen, and the
interpretation thereof.[10] Thus
were the visions of mine head in my bed; I saw, and behold a tree
in the midst of the earth, and the height thereof was great.
[13] I saw in the visions
of my head upon my bed, and, behold, a watcher and an
holy one came down from heaven….
Dan.7
[1] In the first
year of Belshazzar king of Babylon Daniel had a dream and visions
of his head upon his bed: then he wrote the dream, and told the sum of the
matters.[2]
Daniel spoke and said, I saw in my vision by night, and,
behold, the four winds of the heaven strove upon the great sea.
[7] After this I
saw in the night visions, and behold a fourth beast, dreadful and
terrible, and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth: it devoured and
brakes in pieces, and stamped the residue with the feet of it: and it was
diverse from all the beasts that were before it; and it had ten horns.
[13] I saw in the
night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the
clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near
before him.
[15] I Daniel was
grieved in my spirit in the midst of my body, and the visions of my
head troubled me.
Dan.8[1]
In the third year of the reign of king Belshazzar a vision appeared unto me, even
unto me Daniel, after that which appeared unto me at the first.
[2] And I saw in a vision;
and it came to pass, when I saw, that I was at Shushan in the palace,
which is in the province of Elam; and I saw in a vision, and I was by the river
of Ulai.
[3] Then I lifted up mine eyes, and saw, and, behold, there stood before
the river a ram which had two horns: and the two horns were high; but one was
higher than the other, and the higher came up last.
[4] I saw the ram pushing westward, and northward, and southward; so
that no beasts might stand before him, neither was there any that could deliver
out of his hand; but he did according to his will, and became great.
[5] And as I was considering, behold, an
he goat came from the west on the face of the whole earth, and touched not the
ground: and the goat had a notable horn between his eyes.
[6] And he came to the ram that had two horns, which I had there seen
standing before the river, and ran unto him in the fury of his power.
[7] And I saw him come close unto the ram, and he was moved with choler
against him, and smote the ram, and brake his two horns: and there was no power
in the ram to stand before him, but he cast him down to the ground, and stamped
upon him: and there was none that could deliver the ram out of his hand.
[8] Therefore the he goat waxed very great: and when he was strong, the
great horn was broken; and for it came up four notable ones toward the four
winds of heaven.
[9] And out of one of them came forth a little horn, which waxed exceeding
great, toward the south, and toward the east, and toward the pleasant land.
[10] And it waxed great, even to the host of heaven; and it cast down
some of the host and of the stars to the ground, and stamped upon them.
[11] Yea, he magnified himself even to the prince of the host, and by
him the daily sacrifice was taken away, and the place of his sanctuary was cast
down.
[12] And an host was given him against the daily
sacrifice by reason of transgression, and it cast down the truth to the ground;
and it practiced, and prospered.
[13] Then I heard one saint speaking, and another saint said unto that
certain saint which spoke, How long shall be the vision concerning the daily
sacrifice, and the transgression of desolation, to give both the sanctuary and
the host to be trodden under foot?
[14] And he said unto me, unto two thousand and three hundred days; then
shall the sanctuary be cleansed.
[15] And it came to pass, when I, even I Daniel, had seen the vision,
and sought for the meaning, then, behold, there stood before me as the
appearance of a man.
[16] And I heard a man's voice between the banks of Ulai, which called, and
said, Gabriel, make this man to understand the vision.
[17] So he came near where I stood: and when he came, I was afraid, and
fell upon my face: but he said unto me, Understand, O son of man: for at the
time of the end shall be the vision.
[18] Now as he was speaking with me, I was in a deep sleep on my face
toward the ground: but he touched me, and set me upright.
[19] And he said, Behold, I will make you know what shall be in the last
end of the indignation: for at the time appointed the end shall be.
[20] The ram which you saw having two horns are the kings of Media and
Persia.
[21] And the rough goat is the king of Grecia: and the great horn
that is between his eyes is the first king.
[22] Now that being broken, whereas four stood up for it, four kingdoms
shall stand up out of the nation, but not in his power.
[23] And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors are
come to the full, a king of fierce countenance, and understanding dark
sentences, shall stand up.
[24] And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power: and he
shall destroy wonderfully, and shall prosper, and practice, and shall destroy
the mighty and the holy people.
[25] And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his
hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy
many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be
broken without hand.
[26] And the vision of the evening and the morning which was told is
true: wherefore shut you up the vision; for it shall be for many days.
[27] And I Daniel fainted, and was sick certain days; afterward I rose up,
and did the king's business; and I was astonished at the vision, but none
understood it.
Dan.9
[21] Yea, whiles
I was speaking in prayer, even the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at
the beginning, being caused to fly swiftly, touched me about the time of
the evening oblation. [22] And he informed me, and talked with me, and said, O
Daniel, I am now come forth to give you skill and understanding.[23] At the beginning of your
supplications the commandment came forth, and I am come to show you; for you
are greatly beloved: therefore understand the matter, and consider the vision.
[24] Seventy
weeks are determined upon your people and upon your holy city, to finish the
transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity,
and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and
prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.
[25] Know therefore and understand, that from the going
forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the
Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be
built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.
[26] And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but
not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the
city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the
end of the war desolations are determined.
[27] And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in
the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease,
and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until
the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.
Dan.10
[1] In the third
year of Cyrus king of Persia a thing was revealed unto Daniel, whose name was
called Belteshazzar;
and the thing was true, but the time appointed was long: and he understood the
thing, and had understanding of the vision.
[7] And I Daniel
alone saw the vision: for the men that were with me saw not the vision;
but a great quaking fell upon them, so that they fled to hide themselves.[8]
Therefore I was left alone, and saw this great vision, and there
remained no strength in me: for my comeliness was turned in me into corruption,
and I retained no strength.
[14] Now I am
come to make you understand what shall befall your people in the latter days:
for yet the vision is for many days. [15]
And when he had spoken such words unto me, I set my face toward the ground, and
I became dumb.
[16] And, behold,
one like the similitude of the sons of men touched my lips: then I opened my
mouth, and spoke, and said unto him that stood before me, O my lord, by the vision my
sorrows are turned upon me, and I have retained no strength.
Dan.11
[14] And in those
times there shall many stand up against the king of the south: also the robbers
of your people shall exalt themselves to establish the vision; but
they shall fall.
Hos.12
[9] And I that am Yehovah your God from the
land of Egypt will yet make you to dwell in tabernacles, as in the days of the
solemn feast.[10] I have also
spoken by the prophets, and I have multiplied visions, and used similitudes,
by the ministry of the prophets.
Joel.2
[28] And it shall
come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your
sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your
young men shall see visions: [29] And also upon the
servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit.[30]
And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and
pillars of smoke.
[31] The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood,
before the great and the terrible day of Yehovah come.
[32] And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of
Yehovah
shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as
Yehovah
had said, and in the remnant whom Yehovah shall call.
Obad.1
[1] The vision of
Obadiah. Thus says the Lord Yehovah
concerning Edom; We have heard a rumour from Yehovah, and an ambassador
is sent among the heathen, Arise you, and let us rise up against her in battle.
Nah.1
[1] The burden of
Nineveh. The book of the vision of Nahum the Elkoshite.
Hab.2
[1] I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower,
and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I
am reproved.[2] And Yehovah
answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon
tables, that he may run that readeth
it.[3] For the vision is yet for an
appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it
tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. [4]
Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall
live by his faith.
Matt.17
[1] And after six days Yeshua
takes Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into an
high mountain apart,
[2] And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun,
and his raiment was white as the light.
[3] And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with
him.
[4] Then answered Peter, and said unto Yeshua, Lord, it is good
for us to be here: if you wilt, let us make here three tabernacles; one for
you, and one for Moses, and one for Elias.
[5] While he yet spoke, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and
behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This
is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear you him.
[6] And when the disciples heard it, they fell on their face, and were
sore afraid.
[7] And Yeshua
came and touched them, and said, Arise, and be not afraid.
[8] And when they had lifted up their eyes, they saw no man, save Yeshua
only.
[9] And as they came down from the mountain, Yeshua charged them,
saying, Tell the vision to no man,
until the Son of man be risen again from the dead.
[22] And when he,
Zacharias
came out, he could not speak unto them: and they
perceived that he had seen a vision in the temple: for he
beckoned unto them, and remained speechless.
[22]
Yea, and certain women also of our company made us astonished,
which were early at the sepulcher;
[23] And when
they found not his, Yeshua’s
body, they came, saying, that they had also
seen a vision of
angels, which said that he was alive.
[24] And certain of them which were with us went to the
sepulcher, and found it even so as the women had said: but him they saw not.
Many visions in Acts
Acts.2 – Joel
16] But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel;
[17] And it shall
come to pass in the last days, says God, I will pour out
of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy,
and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream
dreams:
[18] And on my
servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and
they shall prophesy:
[19] And I will show wonders in heaven above, and signs in
the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke:
[20] The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood,
before that great and notable day of the Lord come:
[21] And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of
the Lord shall be saved.
[10] And there
was a certain disciple at Damascus, named Ananias; and to him said the Lord in
a vision, Ananias. And he said, Behold, I am here, Lord.
[12] And had seen
in a vision a man named Ananias coming in, and putting his
hand on him, that he might receive his sight.
[1] There was a certain man in Caesarea called Cornelius, a
centurion of the band called the Italian band,
[2] A devout man, and one that feared God with all his house, which gave
much alms to the people, and prayed to God alway
[3] He saw in a vision evidently
about the ninth hour of the day an angel of God coming in to him, and saying
unto him, Cornelius.
[4] And when he looked on him, he was afraid, and said, What
is it, Lord? And he said unto him, Thy prayers and your alms are come up for a
memorial before God.
[17] Now while
Peter doubted in himself what this vision which he had seen
should mean, behold, the men which were sent from Cornelius had made inquiry
for Simon's house, and stood before the gate,
[18] And called, and asked whether Simon, which was
surnamed Peter, were lodged there.
[19] While Peter
thought on the vision, the Spirit said unto him, Behold, three men
seek you.
[5] I was in the
city of Joppa praying: and in a trance I saw a vision, A certain
vessel descend, as it had been a great sheet, let down from head[6] Upon the
which when I had fastened mine eyes, I considered, and saw four footed beasts
of the earth, and wild beasts, and creeping things, and fowls of the air.
[7] And I heard a voice saying unto me, Arise, Peter; slay and eat.
[8] But I said, Not so, Lord: for
nothing common or unclean had at any time entered into my mouth.
[9] But the voice answered me again from heaven, What God had cleansed,
that call not you common.
[10] And this was done three times: and all were drawn up again into
heaven.
[11] And, behold, immediately there were three men already come unto the
house where I was, sent from Caesarea unto me.
[12] And the spirit bade me go with them, nothing doubting. Moreover
these six brethren accompanied me, and we entered into the man's house:
[13] And he showed us how he had seen an angel in his house, which stood
and said unto him, Send men to Joppa, and call for Simon, whose surname is
Peter;
[14] Who shall tell you words, whereby you and all your house shall be
saved.
[15] And as I began to speak, the Holy Ghost fell on them, as on us at
the beginning.
[16] Then remembered I the word of the Lord, how that he said, John
indeed baptized with water; but you shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost.
[17] Forasmuch then as God gave them the like gift as he did unto us,
who believed on the Lord Yeshua
Messiah; what was I, that I could withstand God?
[18] When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified
God, saying, Then had God also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life.ven by four corners; and it came even to me:
Acts.12 Peter
[9] …but thought
he saw a vision.
[9] And a vision appeared
to Paul in the night;
[9] Then spoke
the Lord to Paul in the night by a vision, Be
not afraid, but speak, and hold not your peace: [10] For I am with
you, and no man shall set on you to hurt you: for I have much people in this
city.
Acts.26 Saul’s
conversion
[19] Whereupon, O
king Agrippa, I was not disobedient unto the heavenly vision: [20]
But showed first unto them of Damascus, and at Jerusalem, and throughout all
the coasts of Judaea, and then to the Gentiles, that they should repent and
turn to God, and do works meet for repentance
Rev. 1
[1] The Revelation of Yeshua
the Messiah, which God gave unto him, to show unto his servants things which
must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his
servant John:
[2] Who bare record of the word
of God, and of the testimony of Yeshua the Messiah, and of all things that he
saw.
[17] And thus I John saw the horses in the vision, and them that sat on
them, having breastplates of fire, and of jacinth, and brimstone: and the heads
of the horses were as the heads of lions; and out of their mouths issued fire
and smoke and brimstone.
In closing for today:
I just scratched the
surface on this topic.
As we have seen above,
God gave many people visions.
More to come one day,
Lord willing….
