Judaism is wrong by calling this month Iyyar. Iyyar is not in the Hebrew Scriptures.

1Kgs.6 [1] And it came to pass in the four hundred and eightieth year after the children of Israel were come out of the land of Egypt, in the fourth year of Solomon's reign over Israel, in the month Zif, which is the second month, that he began to build the house of the LORD.

Spring Feasts and Holy Days of the Lord this year 2007

We are counting the omer. This is the 5th week of counting the omer. Two weeks left.

Lev.23 [ 15 ] And ye shall count unto you from the morrow after the sabbath , from the day that ye brought the sheaf of the wave offering; seven sabbaths shall be complete:[ 16 ] Even unto the morrow after the seventh sabbath shall ye number fifty days; and ye shall offer a new meat offering unto the LORD [17 ] Ye shall bring out of your habitations two wave loaves of two tenth deals: they shall be of fine flour; they shall be baken with leaven; they are the firstfruits unto the LORD.

This year, 2007, our dates are as follows:

The 3rd month, Sivan 9th is on the 27th of May and is a Sabbath ( Sunday ) Feast of Weeks - Pentecost.

Two sabbaths in a row.

The giving of the Torah ( commandments ) and giving of the Holy Spirit ( Acts 2 and Joel 2:28 ).

When the weather is nice, this is easy to say or feel :

My lord delayeth his coming

24] Consider the ravens: for they neither sow nor reap; which neither have storehouse nor barn; and God feedeth them: how much more are ye better than the fowls?

25] And which of you with taking thought can add to his stature one cubit?

26] If ye then be not able to do that thing which is least, why take ye thought for the rest?

39] And this know, that if the goodman of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched, and not have suffered his house to be broken through.

40] Be ye therefore ready also: for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not.

41] Then Peter said unto him, Lord, speakest thou this parable unto us, or even to all?

42] And the Lord said, Who then is that faithful and wise steward, whom his lord shall make ruler over his household, to give them their portion of meat in due season?

43] Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.

44] Of a truth I say unto you, that he will make him ruler over all that he hath.

45] But and if that servant say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming; and shall begin to beat the menservants and maidens, and to eat and drink, and to be drunken;

46] The lord of that servant will come in a day when he looketh not for him, and at an hour when he is not aware, and will cut him in sunder, and will appoint him his portion with the unbelievers.

covetousness = lust + corrupt minds and hearts

Col.3 [5] Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:

Mark.7 [ 20] And he said, That which cometh out of the man, that defileth the man.

חמד chamad - A primitive root; to delight in: - beauty, greatly beloved, covet, delectable thing, (great) delight, desire, goodly, lust, (be) pleasant (thing), precious (thing).

Exod.18 [21 ] Moreover thou shalt provide out of all the people able men, such as fear God, men of truth, hating covetousness ; and place such over them, to be rulers of thousands, and rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens:

10] But chiefly them that walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise government. Presumptuous are they, selfwilled, they are not afraid to speak evil of dignities.
[
11] Whereas angels, which are greater in power and might, bring not railing accusation against them before the Lord.
[
12] But these, as natural brute beasts, made to be taken and destroyed, speak evil of the things that they understand not; and shall utterly perish in their own corruption;
[
13] And shall receive the reward of unrighteousness, as they that count it pleasure to riot in the day time. Spots they are and blemishes, sporting themselves with their own deceivings while they feast with you;
[
14] Having eyes full of adultery, and that cannot cease from sin; beguiling unstable souls: an heart they have exercised with covetous practices ; cursed children:
[
15] Which have forsaken the right way, and are gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Bosor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness;
[
16] But was rebuked for his iniquity: the dumb ass speaking with man's voice forbad the madness of the prophet.
[
17] These are wells without water, clouds that are carried with a tempest; to whom the mist of darkness is reserved for ever.
[
18] For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error.
[
19] While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage.
[
20] For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.
[
21] For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.
[
22] But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.

Please "Take Heed"

Exod.34 [12 ] Take heed to thyself, lest thou make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land whither thou goest, lest it be for a snare in the midst of thee:

Num.23 [12 ] And he answered and said, Must I not take heed to speak that which the LORD hath put in my mouth?

Deut.4 [9 ] Only take heed to thyself, and keep thy soul diligently, lest thou forget the things which thine eyes have seen, and lest they depart from thy heart all the days of thy life: but teach them thy sons, and thy sons' sons; [ 10] Specially the day that thou stoodest before the LORD thy God in Horeb, when the LORD said unto me, Gather me the people together, and I will make them hear my words, that they may learn to fear me all the days that they shall live upon the earth, and that they may teach their children.

[23] Take heed unto yourselves, lest ye forget the covenant of the LORD your God, which he made with you, and make you a graven image, or the likeness of any thing, which the LORD thy God hath forbidden thee.

Deut.11 [16 ] Take heed to yourselves, that your heart be not deceived, and ye turn aside, and serve other gods, and worship them;[17] And then the LORD's wrath be kindled against you, and he shut up the heaven, that there be no rain, and that the land yield not her fruit; and lest ye perish quickly from off the good land which the LORD giveth you.[ 18] Therefore shall ye lay up these my words in your heart and in your soul, and bind them for a sign upon your hand, that they may be as frontlets between your eyes. Deut.12 [13 ] Take heed to thyself that thou offer not thy burnt offerings in every place that thou seest:

[19] Take heed to thyself that thou forsake not the Levite as long as thou livest upon the earth.

[28] Observe and hear all these words which I command thee, that it may go well with thee, and with thy children after thee for ever, when thou doest that which is good and right in the sight of the LORD thy God. Deut.24 [8 ] Take heed in the plague of leprosy, that thou observe diligently, and do according to all that the priests the Levites shall teach you: as I commanded them, so ye shall observe to do.

Matt.6 [1 ] Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven.

Matt.16 [6 ] Then Jesus said unto them, Take heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees.

Matt.18 [10 ] Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven.

Rom.11 [21 ] For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee.

1Cor.3 [10 ] According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon.
