Today's Topic: Take
hold of the Lord's Covenant
Have you been "joined" to
the Lord yet?
The Lord's covenants are like marriage contracts
Gen.2 [20] And
Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast
of the field; but for Adam there was not found an help meet for him.
[21] And the LORD God caused a deep sleep
to fall upon Adam and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the
flesh instead thereof;
[22] And the rib, which the LORD God had
taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.
[23] And Adam said, This is now bone of my
bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken
out of Man.
[24] Therefore shall a man leave his
father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one
flesh.
Matt.19 [4] ...Have ye not read, that he which made them at the
beginning made them male and female,
[5] And
said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to
his wife: and they twain (2) shall be one flesh?
[6] Wherefore they are no more twain (2),
but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined
together, let not man put asunder.

Jer.3 [14] Turn,
O backsliding children, saith the LORD; for I am
married unto you: and I will take you one of a city, and two of a
family, and I will bring you to Zion:
[15] And I
will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with
knowledge and understanding.
[16] And it shall come to pass, when ye be
multiplied and increased in the land, in those days, saith the LORD, they shall
say no more, The ark of the covenant of the LORD: neither shall it come to
mind: neither shall they remember it; neither shall they visit it; neither
shall that be done any more.
[17] At that time they shall call
Jerusalem the throne of the LORD; and all the nations shall be gathered unto
it, to the name of the LORD, to Jerusalem: neither shall they walk any more
after the imagination of their evil heart.
[18] In
those days the house of Judah shall walk with the house of Israel, and they
shall come together out of the land of the north to the land that I have given
for an inheritance unto your fathers.
--------------------
Eph.5 [21]
Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God.
[22] Wives, submit
yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.
[23] For the
husband is the head of the wife, even as Messiah is the head of the church:
and he is the saviour of the body.
[24] Therefore as the church (set apart ones) is subject unto Messiah,
so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing.
[25] Husbands, love your wives,
even as Messiah also loved the church, and gave himself for it;
[26] That he might sanctify and cleanse it
with the washing of water by the word,
[27] That he might present it to himself a
glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it
should be holy and without blemish.
[28] So ought men to love their wives as their
own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself.
[29] For no man ever yet hated his own
flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church:
[30] For we are members of his body, of
his flesh, and of his bones.
[31] For this cause shall a man leave
his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be
one flesh.
[32] This is a great mystery: but I speak
concerning Messiah and the set apart ones / church.
[33] Nevertheless let every one of you in
particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she
reverence her husband.

One law, one ordinance to him that is
homeborn, and unto "the stranger"
that sojourneth among you
----------
Exod. 12
[43] And the LORD said unto Moses and Aaron,
This is the ordinance of the passover:
There shall no stranger eat thereof:
[44] But every man's servant that is bought for
money, when thou hast circumcised him, then shall he eat thereof.
[45] A foreigner and an hired servant shall not
eat thereof.
[46] In one house shall it be eaten;
thou shalt not carry forth ought of the flesh
abroad out of the house;
neither shall ye break a bone thereof.
[47] All the congregation of Israel shall keep
it.
--------
[48] And when a stranger shall sojourn with thee, and will keep the
passover to the LORD,
let all his males
be circumcised,
and then let him
come near and keep it;
and he (the stranger) shall
be as one that is born in the land:
for no uncircumcised person shall eat thereof.
[49] One law shall
be to him that is homeborn, and unto "the
stranger" that sojourneth among you.
-----------
Num. 9
[1] And the LORD spake unto Moses in the
wilderness of Sinai, in the first month of the second year after they
were come out of the land of Egypt, saying,
[2] Let the children of Israel also keep the passover at his appointed season.
[3] In the fourteenth day of this month, at even, ye shall keep it in
his appointed season: according to all the (statutes)
rites of it, and according to all the (ordinances)
ceremonies thereof, shall ye keep it.
[4] And Moses spake unto the children of Israel,
that they should keep the passover.
[5] And they kept the passover on the fourteenth
day of the first month at even in the wilderness of Sinai: according to all that the LORD commanded Moses, so did the children
of Israel.
[6] And there were certain men, who were
defiled by the dead body of a man, that they could not keep the passover on
that day: and they came before Moses and before Aaron on that day:
[7] And those men said unto him, We are
defiled by the dead body of a man: wherefore are we kept back, that we may not
offer an offering of the LORD in his appointed season among the children of
Israel?
[8] And Moses said unto them, Stand still,
and I will hear what the LORD will command concerning you.
[9] And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
[10] Speak unto the children of Israel,
saying, If any man of you or of your posterity shall be unclean by reason of a
dead body, or be in a journey afar off, yet he shall keep the passover unto the
LORD.
[11] The fourteenth day of the second
month at even they shall keep it, and eat it with unleavened bread and bitter
herbs.
[12] They shall leave none of it unto the
morning, nor break any bone of it: according to all the ordinances of the
passover they shall keep it.
[13] But the man that is clean, and is not
in a journey, and forbeareth to keep the passover, even the same soul shall be
cut off from among his people: because he brought not the offering of the LORD
in his appointed season, that man shall bear his sin.
[14] And if a stranger shall sojourn among you, and will keep the passover
unto the LORD;
according to the ordinance of the passover, and
according to the manner thereof, so shall he (the stranger) do:
ye shall have "one
ordinance", both for the "stranger",
and for him that was born in the land.
--------------------
King Hezekiah did as it was written in Exod. 12 and Numbers 9 above.
People from Israel and Judah, with
"the strangers" that "joined themselves to the Lord",
kept the Passover and Feast of
Unleavened Bread.
2 Chr.
30
[1] And Hezekiah sent to all Israel and
Judah, and wrote letters also to Ephraim and Manasseh, that they should come to
the house of the LORD at Jerusalem, to keep the
passover unto the LORD God of Israel.
[2] For the king had taken counsel, and
his princes, and all the congregation in Jerusalem, to
keep the passover in the second month.
[3] For they could not keep it at that time,
because the priests had not sanctified themselves sufficiently, neither had the
people gathered themselves together to Jerusalem.
[4] And the thing pleased the king and all
the congregation.
[5] So they established a decree to make
proclamation throughout all Israel, from Beer-sheba even to Dan, that they
should come to keep the passover unto the LORD God of Israel at Jerusalem: for they had not done it of a long time in such sort as it
was written.
[6] So the posts went with the letters
from the king and his princes throughout all Israel
and Judah, and according to the commandment of the king, saying, Ye children of Israel, turn
again unto the LORD God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, and he will return to
the remnant of you, that are escaped out of the
hand of the kings of Assyria.
[7] And be not ye like
your fathers, and like your brethren, which trespassed against the LORD
God of their fathers, who therefore gave them up to desolation, as ye see.
[8] Now be ye not stiffnecked, as your fathers
were, but yield yourselves unto the LORD, and enter into his sanctuary, which
he hath sanctified for ever: and serve the LORD your God, that the fierceness
of his wrath may turn away from you.
[9] For if ye turn again unto the LORD, your
brethren and your children shall find compassion before them that lead them
captive, so that they shall come again into this land: for the LORD your God is
gracious and merciful, and will not turn away his face from you, if ye return
unto him.
[10] So the posts passed from city to city
through the country of Ephraim and Manasseh even unto Zebulun: but they laughed them to scorn, and mocked them.
[11] Nevertheless divers of Asher and Manasseh
and of Zebulun humbled themselves, and came to Jerusalem.
[12] Also in Judah the hand of God was to
give them one heart to do the commandment of the king and of the princes, by
the word of the LORD.
[13] And there assembled at Jerusalem much
people to keep the feast of unleavened bread in the
second month, a very great congregation.
[14] And they arose and took away the
altars that were in Jerusalem, and all the altars for incense took they away,
and cast them into the brook Kidron.
[15] Then they killed the passover on
the fourteenth day of the second month: and the priests and the Levites
were ashamed, and sanctified themselves, and brought in the burnt offerings
into the house of the LORD.
[16] And they stood in their place after
their manner, according to the law of Moses the man of God: the priests sprinkled
the blood, which they received of the hand of the Levites.
[17] For there were many
in the congregation that were not sanctified: therefore the Levites had
the charge of the killing of the passovers for every one that was not clean, to
sanctify them unto the LORD.
[18] For a multitude of the people, even
many of Ephraim, and Manasseh, Issachar, and Zebulun, had not cleansed
themselves, yet did they eat the passover otherwise than it was written.
But Hezekiah prayed for them, saying, The good LORD pardon
every one
[19] That prepareth his heart to seek God, the
LORD God of his fathers, though he be not cleansed according to the
purification of the sanctuary.
[20] And the LORD hearkened to Hezekiah, and healed the
people.
[21] And the children of Israel that were present
at Jerusalem kept the feast of unleavened bread seven
days with great gladness: and the Levites and the
priests praised the LORD day by day, singing with loud instruments unto the
LORD.
[22] And Hezekiah spake comfortably unto all the Levites that taught the good knowledge of the LORD:
and they did eat throughout the feast seven days, offering peace offerings, and
making confession to the LORD God of their fathers.
[23] And the whole assembly took counsel to keep other seven days: and they kept other seven days with gladness.
[24] For Hezekiah king of Judah did give
to the congregation a thousand bullocks and seven thousand sheep; and the
princes gave to the congregation a thousand bullocks and ten thousand sheep:
and a great number of priests sanctified themselves.
All kept the Passover and Feast of Unleavened Bread as in
Exod. 12 and Numbers 9 above.
[25] And all the congregation of Judah, with the
priests and the Levites, and all the congregation that
came out of Israel, and the "strangers"
that came out of the land of Israel, and that
dwelt in Judah, rejoiced.
[26] So there was great joy in Jerusalem: for
since the time of Solomon the son of David king of Israel there was not the
like in Jerusalem.
[27] Then the priests the Levites arose and blessed the people: and
their voice was heard, and their prayer came up to his
holy dwelling place, even unto heaven.
-------------
One law, one ordinance to him that is
homeborn, and unto "the stranger"
that sojourneth among you
One law, one ordinance also pertains
to the Sabbath for the "stranger"
Isa. 56
[1] Thus saith the LORD, Keep ye judgment, and do
justice: for my salvation is near to come, and my righteousness to be revealed.
[2] Blessed is the man that doeth this, and the
son of man that layeth hold on it; that keepeth the
sabbath from polluting it, and keepeth his hand from doing any evil.
[3] Neither let
the son of the stranger, that hath joined himself to the LORD, speak, saying, The LORD hath
utterly separated me from his people:
neither let the eunuch say, Behold, I am a dry
tree.
[4] For thus saith the LORD unto the eunuchs that
keep my sabbaths, and choose the things that please me, and take hold of my
covenant;
[5] Even unto them will I give in mine house and
within my walls a place and a name better than of sons and of daughters: I will
give them an everlasting name, that shall not be cut off.
[6] Also the sons of the
stranger, that join themselves to the LORD, to serve him, and to love
the name of the LORD, to be his servants, every one that keepeth the sabbath
from polluting it, and taketh hold of my covenant;
[7] Even them will I bring to my holy mountain,
and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their
sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called an
house of prayer for all people.
--------------------
One law, one ordinance to him that is
homeborn, and unto "the stranger"
that sojourneth among you
[29] And
this shall be a statute for ever unto you: that in the seventh month, on the
tenth day of the month, ye shall afflict your souls, and do no work at all,
whether it be one of your own country, or a
stranger that sojourneth among you:
Lev.17
[1] And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
[2] Speak unto Aaron, and unto his sons, and unto all the children of
Israel, and say unto them; This is the thing which the LORD hath commanded,
saying,
[3] What man soever there be of the house of Israel, that killeth an ox,
or lamb, or goat, in the camp, or that killeth it out of the camp,
[4] And bringeth it not unto the door of the tabernacle of the
congregation, to offer an offering unto the LORD before the tabernacle of the
LORD; blood shall be imputed unto that man; he hath shed blood; and that man
shall be cut off from among his people:
[5] To the end that the children of Israel may bring their sacrifices,
which they offer in the open field, even that they may bring them unto the
LORD, unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, unto the priest, and
offer them for peace offerings unto the LORD.
[6] And the priest shall sprinkle the blood upon the altar of the LORD
at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and burn the fat for a sweet
savour unto the LORD.
[7] And they shall no more offer their sacrifices unto devils, after
whom they have gone a whoring. This shall be a statute for ever unto them
throughout their generations.
[8] And thou shalt say unto them,
Whatsoever man there be of the house of Israel, or of
the strangers which sojourn among you, that offereth a burnt
offering of sacrifice,
[9]
And bringeth it not unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, to
offer it unto the LORD; even that man shall be cut off from among his people.
[10] And whatsoever man there be of the
house of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn
among you, that eateth any manner of blood; I will even set my face
against that soul that eateth blood, and will cut him off from among his
people.
[11] For the life of the flesh is in the
blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your
souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.
[12]
Therefore I said unto the children of Israel, No soul of you shall eat blood, neither
shall any stranger that sojourneth among you eat
blood.
[13] And
whatsoever man there be of the children of Israel, or
of the strangers that sojourn among you, which hunteth and catcheth
any beast or fowl that may be eaten; he shall even pour out the blood thereof,
and cover it with dust.
[14] For it
is the life of all flesh; the blood of it is for the life thereof: therefore I
said unto the children of Israel, Ye shall eat the blood of no manner of flesh:
for the life of all flesh is the blood thereof: whosoever eateth it shall be
cut off.
[15] And every soul that eateth that which died of itself, or that which
was torn with beasts, whether it be one of your own country, or a stranger, he
shall both wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until
the even: then shall he be clean.
[16] But if he wash them not, nor bathe his flesh; then he shall bear
his iniquity.
--------------------
Lev.18
[1] And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
[2] Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, I am the LORD
your God.
[3] After the doings of the land of Egypt, wherein ye dwelt, shall ye
not do: and after the doings of the land of Canaan, whither I bring you, shall
ye not do: neither shall ye walk in their ordinances.
[4] Ye shall do my judgments, and keep mine ordinances, to walk therein:
I am the LORD your God.
[5] Ye shall therefore keep my statutes, and my judgments: which if a
man do, he shall live in them: I am the LORD.
[6] None of you shall approach to any that is near of kin to him, to
uncover their nakedness: I am the LORD.
[7] The nakedness of thy father, or the nakedness of thy mother, shalt
thou not uncover: she is thy mother; thou shalt not uncover her nakedness.
[8] The nakedness of thy father's wife shalt thou not uncover: it is thy
father's nakedness.
[9] The nakedness of thy sister, the daughter of thy father, or daughter
of thy mother, whether she be born at home, or born abroad, even their
nakedness thou shalt not uncover.
[10] The nakedness of thy son's daughter, or of thy daughter's daughter,
even their nakedness thou shalt not uncover: for theirs is thine own nakedness.
[11] The nakedness of thy father's wife's daughter, begotten of thy
father, she is thy sister, thou shalt not uncover her nakedness.
[12] Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy father's sister: she is
thy father's near kinswoman.
[13] Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy mother's sister: for
she is thy mother's near kinswoman.
[14] Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy father's brother, thou
shalt not approach to his wife: she is thine aunt.
[15] Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy daughter in law: she is
thy son's wife; thou shalt not uncover her nakedness.
[16] Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy brother's wife: it is
thy brother's nakedness.
[17] Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of a woman and her daughter,
neither shalt thou take her son's daughter, or her daughter's daughter, to
uncover her nakedness; for they are her near kinswomen: it is wickedness.
[18] Neither shalt thou take a wife to her sister, to vex her, to
uncover her nakedness, beside the other in her life time.
[19] Also thou shalt not approach unto a woman to uncover her nakedness,
as long as she is put apart for her uncleanness.
[20] Moreover thou shalt not lie carnally with thy neighbour's wife, to
defile thyself with her.
[21] And thou shalt not let any of thy seed pass through the fire to
Molech, neither shalt thou profane the name of thy God: I am the LORD.
[22] Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is
abomination.
[23] Neither shalt thou lie with any beast to defile thyself therewith:
neither shall any woman stand before a beast to lie down thereto: it is
confusion.
[24] Defile not ye yourselves in any of these things: for in all these
the nations are defiled which I cast out before you:
[25] And the land is defiled: therefore I do visit the iniquity thereof
upon it, and the land itself vomiteth out her inhabitants.
[26] Ye
shall therefore keep my statutes and my judgments, and shall not commit any of
these abominations; neither any of your own nation, nor any stranger that sojourneth among you:
[27] (For all these abominations have the
men of the land done, which were before you, and the land is defiled;)
[28] That the land spue not you out also,
when ye defile it, as it spued out the nations that were before you.
[29] For whosoever shall commit any of
these abominations, even the souls that commit them shall be cut off from among
their people.
[30]
Therefore shall ye keep mine ordinance, that ye commit not any one of these
abominable customs, which were committed before you, and that ye defile not
yourselves therein: I am the LORD your God.
--------------------
[33] And if a stranger sojourn with thee in your
land, ye shall not vex him.
[34] But the stranger that dwelleth
with you shall
be unto you as one born among you, and thou shalt love him as
thyself; for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt: I am the LORD your God.
--------------------
Lev.20 [1] And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
[2] Again,
thou shalt say to the children of Israel, Whosoever he be of the children of
Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn in Israel,
that giveth any of his seed unto Molech; he shall surely be put to death: the
people of the land shall stone him with stones.
--------------------
Lev.25
[1] And the LORD spake unto Moses in mount
Sinai, saying,
[2] Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye come
into the land which I give you, then shall the land keep a sabbath unto the
LORD.
[3] Six years thou shalt sow thy field, and six years thou shalt prune
thy vineyard, and gather in the fruit thereof;
[4] But in the seventh year shall be a sabbath of rest unto the land, a
sabbath for the LORD: thou shalt neither sow thy field, nor prune thy vineyard.
[5] That which groweth of its own accord of thy harvest thou shalt not
reap, neither gather the grapes of thy vine undressed: for it is a year of rest
unto the land.
[6] And the sabbath of the land shall be meat for you; for thee, and for
thy servant, and for thy maid, and for thy hired servant, and for thy
stranger that sojourneth with thee, [7] And for thy cattle, and for
the beast that are in thy land, shall all the increase thereof be meat.
[23] The
land shall not be sold for ever: for the land is mine; for ye are strangers and
sojourners with me.
[35] And if thy brother be waxen poor, and fallen in decay
with thee; then thou shalt relieve him: yea, though he be a stranger, or a
sojourner; that he may live with thee.
[45] Moreover of the
children of the strangers that do sojourn among you, of them shall ye
buy, and of their families that are with you, which they begat in your land:
and they shall be your possession.
[46] And ye shall take them as an inheritance for
your children after you, to inherit them for a possession; they shall be your
bondmen for ever:
but over your brethren the children of Israel, ye
shall not rule one over another with rigour.
[47] And if a
sojourner or stranger wax rich by thee, and thy brother that dwelleth by him
wax poor, and sell himself unto the stranger or sojourner by thee, or to the
stock of the stranger's family:
--------------------
Num.15
[1] And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
[2] Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye be
come into the land of your habitations, which I give unto you,
[3] And will make an offering by fire unto the LORD, a burnt offering,
or a sacrifice in performing a vow, or in a freewill offering, or in your
solemn feasts, to make a sweet savour unto the LORD, of the herd, or of the
flock:
[4] Then shall he that offereth his offering unto the LORD bring a meat
offering of a tenth deal of flour mingled with the fourth part of an hin of
oil.
[5] And the fourth part of an hin of wine for a drink offering shalt
thou prepare with the burnt offering or sacrifice, for one lamb.
[6] Or for a ram, thou shalt prepare for a meat offering two tenth deals
of flour mingled with the third part of an hin of oil.
[7] And for a drink offering thou shalt offer the third part of an hin
of wine, for a sweet savour unto the LORD.
[8] And when thou preparest a bullock for a burnt offering, or for a
sacrifice in performing a vow, or peace offerings unto the LORD:
[9] Then shall he bring with a bullock a meat offering of three tenth
deals of flour mingled with half an hin of oil.
[10] And thou shalt bring for a drink offering half an hin of wine, for
an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD.
[11] Thus shall it be done for one bullock, or for one ram, or for a
lamb, or a kid.
[12] According to the number that ye shall prepare, so shall ye do to
every one according to their number.
[13] All that are born of the country shall do these things after this
manner, in offering an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD.
[14] And if a stranger
sojourn with you, or whosoever be among you in your generations, and
will offer an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD; as ye do, so he shall do.
[15] One
ordinance shall be both for you of the congregation, and also for the stranger that sojourneth with you, an
ordinance for ever in your generations: as ye are, so
shall the stranger be before the LORD.
[16] One law and one manner
shall be for you, and for the
stranger that sojourneth with you.
[17] And the LORD spake unto Moses,
saying,
[18] Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye come
into the land whither I bring you,
[19] Then it shall be, that, when ye eat of the bread of the land, ye
shall offer up an heave offering unto the LORD.
[20] Ye shall offer up a cake of the first of your dough for an heave
offering: as ye do the heave offering of the threshingfloor, so shall ye heave
it.
[21] Of the first of your dough ye shall give unto the LORD an heave
offering in your generations.
[22] And if ye have erred,
and not observed all these commandments, which the LORD hath spoken unto Moses,
[23] Even all that the LORD hath commanded
you by the hand of Moses, from the day that the LORD commanded Moses, and
henceforward among your generations;
[24] Then it shall be, if ought be committed by ignorance without the knowledge of
the congregation, that all the congregation shall offer one young bullock for a
burnt offering, for a sweet savour unto the LORD, with his meat offering, and
his drink offering, according to the manner, and one kid of the goats for a sin
offering.
[25] And the priest shall make an
atonement for all the congregation of the children of Israel, and it shall be
forgiven them; for it is ignorance: and
they shall bring their offering, a sacrifice made by fire unto the LORD, and
their sin offering before the LORD, for their
ignorance:
[26] And it
shall be forgiven all the congregation of the children of Israel, and the stranger that sojourneth among them; seeing all the people were in ignorance.
[29] Ye shall have one law for him that sinneth
through ignorance, both for him that is born among the children of
Israel, and for the stranger that sojourneth among
them.
[28] And the priest shall make an
atonement for the soul that sinneth ignorantly, when
he sinneth by ignorance before the LORD, to make an atonement for
him; and it shall be forgiven him.
[29] Ye shall
have one law for him that sinneth through ignorance, both for him
that is born among the children of Israel, and for the
stranger that sojourneth among them.

[30] But the soul that doeth ought presumptuously,
whether he be born in the land, or a stranger,
the same reproacheth the LORD; and that soul shall be cut off from among his
people.
[31] Because he hath despised the word of the
LORD, and hath broken his commandment, that soul shall utterly be cut off; his
iniquity shall be upon him.

Num. 19 [10] And he
that gathereth the ashes of the heifer shall wash his clothes, and be unclean
until the even: and it shall be unto the children of Israel, and unto the stranger that sojourneth among them, for
a statute for ever.
Num. 35 [15] These
six cities shall be a refuge, both for the children of Israel, and for the stranger, and for the sojourner among
them: that every one that killeth any person unawares may flee thither.
Josh. 20 [9] These
were the cities appointed for all the children of Israel, and for the stranger that sojourneth among them, that
whosoever killeth any person at unawares might flee thither, and not die by the
hand of the avenger of blood, until he stood before the congregation.

Ezek. 14 [7] For
every one of the house of Israel, or of the stranger that sojourneth in
Israel, which separateth himself from me, and setteth up his idols in his
heart, and putteth the stumblingblock of his iniquity before his face, and
cometh to a prophet to inquire of him concerning me; I the LORD will answer him
by myself:
[8] And I will set my face against that man, and will make him
a sign and a proverb, and I will cut him off from the midst of my people; and
ye shall know that I am the LORD.

The "stranger"
begets children and becomes as one born in the
land, enters a "tribe of Israel", and
receives an inheritance in the land of Israel.
[21] So shall ye divide this land unto you
according to the tribes of Israel.
[22] And it shall come to pass, that ye shall
divide it by lot for an inheritance unto you, and to
the strangers that sojourn among you, which shall beget children among you:
and they shall be unto
you as born in the country among the children of Israel;
they shall have inheritance with you among the
tribes of Israel.
[23] And it shall come to pass, that in what tribe the stranger sojourneth, there shall ye
give him his inheritance, saith the Lord GOD.

Purim
Esth. 9 [27] The Jews ordained, and took upon
them, and upon their seed, and upon all such as joined
themselves unto them, so as it should not fail,
that they would keep these two days according to their writing, and according
to their appointed time every year;

Zech. 2 [11] And many
nations shall be joined to the LORD in that day,
and shall be my people: and I will dwell in the midst of thee, and thou shalt
know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me unto thee.

[41] Moreover concerning a stranger, that is not of thy people Israel, but
cometh out of a far country for thy name's sake;
[42] (For they shall hear of thy great name, and of thy strong hand, and
of thy stretched out arm;) when he shall come and pray toward this house;
[43] Hear thou in heaven thy dwelling
place, and do according to all that the stranger
calleth to thee for: that all people of the earth may know thy name, to
fear thee, as do thy people Israel; and that they may know that this house,
which I have builded, is called by thy name.

Rev.19
[1] And after these things I heard a great
voice of much people in heaven, saying, Hallelu Yah; Salvation, and
glory, and honour, and power, unto the Lord our God:
[2] For true and righteous are his judgments: for he hath judged the
great whore, which did corrupt the earth with her fornication, and hath avenged
the blood of his servants at her hand.
[3] And again they said, Hallelu Yah. And her smoke rose up for
ever and ever.
[4] And the four and twenty elders and the four beasts fell down and
worshipped God that sat on the throne, saying, Amen; Hallelu Yah.
[5] And a voice came out of the throne, saying, Praise our God, all ye
his servants, and ye that fear him, both small and great.
[6] And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the
voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Hallelu
Yah: for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth.
[7] Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour
to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come,
and his wife hath made herself ready.
[8] And to her was granted that she should be
arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness
of saints.
[9] And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they
which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb.
And he saith unto me,
These are the true sayings of God.
[10] And I fell at his feet to worship
him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not:
I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Yeshua:
worship God: for the testimony of Yeshua is the spirit of prophecy.
[11] And I saw heaven opened, and behold a
white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in
righteousness he doth judge and make war.
[12] His eyes were as a flame of fire, and
on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but
he himself.
[13] And he was clothed with a vesture
dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of
God.
[14] And the armies which were in heaven
followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.
[15] And out of his mouth goeth a sharp
sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a
rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of
Almighty God.
[16] And he hath on his vesture and on his
thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF
LORDS.
[17] And I saw an angel standing in the
sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the
midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the
great God;
[18] That ye may eat the flesh of kings,
and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of
horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and
bond, both small and great.
[19] And I saw the beast, and the kings of
the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat
on the horse, and against his army.
[20] And the beast was taken, and with him
the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them
that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image.
These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.
[21] And the remnant were slain with the
sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth:
and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.
