Today we use the Gregorian calendar from Pope Gregory; from the 1500’s.

June 8, 2019 - in the 21 Century

June -- Juno's month

Middle English jun(e)
Old French
juin
Old English
junius
Latin
Junius "of Juno"
Latin
Junius mensis "month of Juno"

Junius had 30 days, until Numa when it had 29 days, until Julius when it became 30 days long.

Juno is the principle goddess of the Roman Pantheon. She is the goddess of marriage and the well-being of women. She is the wife and sister of Jupiter. She is identified with the Greek goddess Hera.

Yehovah God has His own calendar, which is deleted from the world

We are now in the 3rd month of God called Sivan

Esth.8 [9] Then were the king's scribes called at that time in the third month, that is, the month Sivan, סִיוָן , day 4

This is our sixth Sabbath of the seven week journey again, spiritually speaking.

One infraction of a person so far on our travel

Infraction: failure to obey or fulfill a law, contract or agreement, or an instance of this.

Remember: We were told to count "Sabbaths" not omers like many people are doing.

An "omer" is a "sheaf" of barley

עמר omer  - A dry measure of 1/10 ephah (about 2 liters)

Lev.23 [15] And ye shall count unto you from the morrow after the sabbath, from the day that ye brought the sheaf of the wave offering; seven Sabbaths shall be complete:[16] Even unto the morrow after the seventh sabbath shall ye number fifty days; and ye shall offer a new meat offering unto Yehovah.

Hag Sh'vu-ot - חַג שָׁבֻעֹת - Feasts of Weeks / Pentecost, a Sabbath “Offering time” - June 16, 2019

Just want to say, this is not a study I intended to do, it just wanted to talk about Heaven

Prov.14 [14] The backslider in heart shall be filled with his own ways: and a good man shall be satisfied from himself.

Let’s read some Jeremiah

Jer.2

[19] Thine own wickedness shall correct thee, and thy backslidings shall reprove thee: know therefore and see that it is an evil thing and bitter, that thou hast forsaken Yehovah thy God, and that my fear is not in thee, saith the Lord Yehovah of hosts.

Jer.3

[1] They say, If a man put away his wife, and she go from him, and become another man's, shall he return unto her again? shall not that land be greatly polluted? but thou hast played the harlot with many lovers; yet return again to me, saith Yehovah.

[2] Lift up thine eyes unto the high places, and see where thou hast not been lien with. In the ways hast thou sat for them, as the Arabian in the wilderness; and thou hast polluted the land with thy whoredoms and with thy wickedness.

[3] Therefore the showers have been withholden, and there hath been no latter rain; and thou hadst a whore's forehead, thou refusedst to be ashamed.

[4] Wilt thou not from this time cry unto me, My father, thou art the guide of my youth?

[5] Will he reserve his anger for ever? will he keep it to the end? Behold, thou hast spoken and done evil things as thou couldest.

[6] Yehovah said also unto me in the days of Josiah the king, Hast thou seen that which backsliding Israel hath done? she is gone up upon every high mountain and under every green tree, and there hath played the harlot.

[7] And I said after she had done all these things, Turn thou unto me. But she returned not. And her treacherous sister Judah saw it.

[8] And I saw, when for all the causes whereby backsliding Israel committed adultery I had put her away, and given her a bill of divorce; yet her treacherous sister Judah feared not, but went and played the harlot also.

[9] And it came to pass through the lightness of her whoredom, that she defiled the land, and committed adultery with stones and with stocks.

[10] And yet for all this her treacherous sister Judah hath not turned unto me with her whole heart, but feignedly, saith Yehovah.

[11] And Yehovah said unto me, The backsliding Israel hath justified herself more than treacherous Judah.

[12] Go and proclaim these words toward the north, and say, Return, thou backsliding Israel, saith Yehovah; and I will not cause mine anger to fall upon you: for I am merciful, saith Yehovah, and I will not keep anger for ever.

[13] Only acknowledge thine iniquity, that thou hast transgressed against Yehovah thy God, and hast scattered thy ways to the strangers under every green tree, and ye have not obeyed my voice, saith Yehovah.

[14] Turn, O backsliding children, saith Yehovah; for I am married unto you: and I will take you one of a city, and two of a family, and I will bring you to Zion:
[15] And
I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding.

[16] And it shall come to pass, when ye be multiplied and increased in the land, in those days, saith Yehovah, they shall say no more, The ark of the covenant of Yehovah: neither shall it come to mind: neither shall they remember it; neither shall they visit it; neither shall that be done any more.

[17] At that time they shall call Jerusalem the throne of Yehovah; and all the nations shall be gathered unto it, to the name of Yehovah, to Jerusalem: neither shall they walk any more after the imagination of their evil heart.

[18] In those days the house of Judah shall walk with the house of Israel, and they shall come together out of the land of the north to the land that I have given for an inheritance unto your fathers.

[19] But I said, How shall I put thee among the children, and give thee a pleasant land, a goodly heritage of the hosts of nations? and I said, Thou shalt call me, My father; and shalt not turn away from me.

[20] Surely as a wife treacherously departeth from her husband, so have ye dealt treacherously with me, O house of Israel, saith Yehovah.

[21] A voice was heard upon the high places, weeping and supplications of the children of Israel: for they have perverted their way, and they have forgotten Yehovah their God.

[22] Return, ye backsliding children, and I will heal your backslidings. Behold, we come unto thee; for thou art Yehovah our God.

[23] Truly in vain is salvation hoped for from the hills, and from the multitude of mountains: truly in Yehovah our God is the salvation of Israel.

[24] For shame hath devoured the labour of our fathers from our youth; their flocks and their herds, their sons and their daughters.
[25] We lie down in our shame, and our confusion covereth us: for we have sinned against Yehovah our God, we and our fathers, from our youth even unto this day, and have not obeyed the voice of Yehovah our God.

Jer.8 [5] Why then is this people of Jerusalem slidden back by a perpetual backsliding? they hold fast deceit, they refuse to return.

Jer.14 [7] Yehovah, though our iniquities testify against us, do thou it for thy name's sake: for our backslidings are many; we have sinned against thee.

1Kgs.12 [32] And Jeroboam ordained a feast in the eighth month, on the fifteenth day of the month, like unto the feast that is in Judah, and he offered upon the altar. So did he in Bethel, sacrificing unto the calves that he had made: and he placed in Bethel the priests of the high places which he had made.

[33] So he offered upon the altar which he had made in Bethel the fifteenth day of the eighth month, even in the month which he had devised of his own heart; and ordained a feast unto the children of Israel: and he offered upon the altar, and burnt incense.

Their own ways, eyes…

Isa.5 [20] Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!
[21]
Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight!
[22]
Woe unto them that are mighty to drink wine, and men of strength to mingle strong drink:[23] Which justify the wicked for reward, and take away the righteousness of the righteous from him!

Isa.66Yea, they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delighteth in their abominations.

Sad, many do things like this – They are “right in your own eyes

1Deut.12 [8] Ye shall not do after all the things that we do here this day, every man whatsoever is right in his own eyes.

Judg.17 [6] In those days there was no king in Israel, but every man did that which was right in his own eyes.

Judg.21 [25] In those days there was no king in Israel: every man did that which was right in his own eyes

Prov. 3 [5] Trust in Yehovah with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

[7] Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear Yehovah, and depart from evil.

Prov.12 [15] The way of a fool is right in his own eyes: but he that hearkeneth unto counsel is wise.

Prov.15 [27] He that is greedy of gain troubleth his own house; but he that hateth gifts shall live.

[32] He that refuseth instruction despiseth his own soul: but he that heareth reproof getteth understanding.

Prov.16 [2] All the ways of a man are clean in his own eyes; but Yehovah weigheth the spirits.

Prov.21 [2] Every way of a man is right in his own eyes: but Yehovah pondereth the hearts.

Prov.28 [11] The rich man is wise in his own conceit; but the poor that hath understanding searcheth him out.

[26] He that trusteth in his own heart is a fool: but whoso walketh wisely, he shall be delivered.

Prov.29 [24] Whoso is partner with a thief hateth his own soul: he heareth cursing, and bewrayeth it not.

Prov.30 [12] There is a generation that are pure in their own eyes, and yet is not washed from their filthiness.

Ecc. [5] The fool foldeth his hands together, and eateth his own flesh.

Willing to justify yourself

Luke.10 [25] And, behold, a certain lawyer stood up, and tempted him, saying, Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?

[26] Yeshua said unto him, What is written in the law? how readest thou?

[27] And he answering said, Thou shalt love Yehovah thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself.

[28] And Yeshua said unto him, Thou hast answered right: this do, and thou shalt live.

[29] But he, willing to justify himself, said unto Yeshua, And who is my neighbour?

[30] And Yeshua answering said, A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, which stripped him of his raiment, and wounded him, and departed, leaving him half dead.
[31] And by chance there came down a certain priest that way: and when he saw him, he passed by on the other side.
[32] And likewise a Levite, when he was at the place, came and looked on him, and passed by on the other side.
[33] But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when he saw him, he had compassion on him,
[34] And went to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine, and set him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him.
[35] And on the morrow when he departed, he took out two pence, and gave them to the host, and said unto him, Take care of him; and whatsoever thou spendest more, when I come again, I will repay thee.
[36] Which now of these three, thinkest thou, was neighbour unto him that fell among the thieves?
[37] And he said, He that shewed mercy on him. Then said Yeshua unto him, Go, and do thou likewise.

Luke.16 [15] And he said unto them, Ye are they which justify yourselves before men; but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God.

Our Brother and Sisters died for the Greater Good

The Messiah and Heaven

Heb.11 - faith

[1] Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
[2] For by it the elders obtained a good report.

[3] Through
faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

[4] By
faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh.

[5] By
faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.

[6] But without faith it is impossible to please Him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.

[7] By
faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.

[8] By
faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went.
[9]
By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise:
[10] For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God.

[11]
Through faith also Sara herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged him faithful who had promised.

[12] Therefore sprang there even of one, and him as good as dead, so many as the stars of the sky in multitude, and as the sand which is by the sea shore innumerable.

[13]
These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.

[14] For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country.

[15] And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might have had (bad) opportunity to have returned.

[16] But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city.

[17] By
faith Abraham, when he was tried, offered up Isaac: and he that had received the promises offered up his only begotten son,[18] Of whom it was said, That in Isaac shall thy seed be called:[19] Accounting that God was able to raise him up, even from the dead; from whence also he received him in a figure.

[20] By faith Isaac blessed Jacob and Esau concerning things to come.

[21] By faith Jacob, when he was a dying, blessed both the sons of Joseph; and worshipped, leaning upon the top of his staff.

[22] By
faith Joseph, when he died, made mention of the departing of the children of Israel; and gave commandment concerning his bones.

[23] By
faith Moses, when he was born, was hid three months of his parents, because they saw he was a proper child; and they were not afraid of the king's commandment.
[24] By
faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter;
[25] Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season;
[26] Esteeming the reproach of Messiah greater riches than the treasures in Egypt: for he had respect unto the recompence of the reward.

[27] By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king: for he endured, as seeing him who is invisible.
[28]
Through faith he kept the passover, and the sprinkling of blood, lest he that destroyed the firstborn should touch them.
[29]
By faith they passed through the Red sea as by dry land: which the Egyptians assaying to do were drowned.

[30]
By faith the walls of Jericho fell down, after they were compassed about seven days.

[31]
By faith the harlot Rahab perished not with them that believed not, when she had received the spies with peace.

[32] And what shall I more say?

for the time would fail me to tell of Gedeon, and of Barak, and of Samson, and of Jephthae; of David also, and Samuel, and of the prophets:

[33] Who
through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions,

[34] Quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight the armies of the aliens.

[35] Women received their dead raised to life again: and others were tortured, not accepting deliverance; that they might obtain a better resurrection:

[36] And others had trial of cruel mockings and scourgings, yea, moreover of bonds and imprisonment:

[37] They were stoned, they were sawn asunder, were tempted, were slain with the sword: they wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins; being destitute, afflicted, tormented;[38] (Of whom the world was not worthy:)

they wandered in deserts, and in mountains, and in dens and caves of the earth.

[39] And these all, having obtained a good report
through faith, received not the promise (of Messiah):[40] God having provided some better thing for us, (we saw the Messiah)

that they without (outside of the body) us should not be made perfect.

They all believed in the “Greater Good”, Heaven

Luke 14

[26] If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.

[27] And whosoever doth not
bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple.

[28] For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it?
[29] Lest haply, after he hath laid the foundation, and is not able to finish it, all that behold it begin to mock him,
[30] Saying, This man began to build, and was not able to finish.
[31] Or what king, going to make war against another king, sitteth not down first, and consulteth whether he be able with ten thousand to meet him that cometh against him with twenty thousand?
[32] Or else, while the other is yet a great way off, he sendeth an ambassage, and desireth conditions of peace.

[33] So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he
cannot be my disciple.

[34] Salt is good: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be seasoned?

[35] It is neither fit for the land, nor yet for the dunghill; but men cast it out.

He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.

1Cor.10 [24] Let no man seek his own, but every man another's wealth.

1Tim.5 [8] But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.

Jas.1 [8] A double minded man / woman is unstable in all his ways.

[9] Let the brother of low degree rejoice in that he is exalted:
[10] But the rich, in that he is made low: because as the flower of the grass he shall pass away.

[11] For the sun is no sooner risen with a burning heat, but it withereth the grass, and the flower thereof falleth, and the grace of the fashion of it perisheth:

so also shall the rich man fade away in his ways.

[12] Blessed is the man / woman that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which Yehovah hath promised to them that love him.

[13] Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man:
[14]
But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.
[15] Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.

[16] Do not err, my beloved brethren.

Peter reports:

2Pet.2 [20] For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of Lord and Saviour Yeshua the Messiah, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.

[
21] For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them. (Backsliding)

[22] But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to
his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.

In closing: Be careful!

Matt.16 [26] For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
