The Basics again

Be Holy:

Lev.19 

[1] And Yehovah spoke unto Moses, saying,

[2] Speak unto all the congregation of the children of Israel, and say unto them, You shall be holy:

forYehovah your God am holy.

 

Lev.20

[7] Sanctify yourselves therefore, and be ye holy: for I am Yehovah your God.

 

1Pet.1

[15] But as he which had called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;

[16] Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.

 

Conversation - ναστροφ anastrophe {an-as-trof-ay'}

Meaning:  1) manner of life, conduct, behavior…

 

God starts his days in the evening as stated below:

Gen.1

And the evening and the morning were the first day.

And the evening and the morning were the second day.

And the evening and the morning were the third day.

And the evening and the morning were the fourth day.

And the evening and the morning were the fifth day.

And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

 

The creation of the Sabbath, the 4th commandment

 

Gen.2 

[2] And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made;

and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.

[3] And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.

There are 12 hours of day and 12 hours of night

 

The 10 commandments are also in Deut. 5 which was 40 years after they were first given.

I suggest you start with the first 10 commandment.

You are either doing them or not.

 

Here are the 10 commandments:

Exod.20

1st commandment

[1] And God spoke all these words, saying,

[2] I am Yehovah your God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.

[3] You shall have no other gods before me.

2nd commandment

[4] You shall not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:

[5] You shall not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I Yehovah your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;

[6] And showing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.

3rd commandment

[7] You shall not take the name of Yehovah your God in vain; for Yehovah will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.

4th commandment

[8] Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.

[9] Six days shall you labor, and do all your work:

[10] But the seventh day is the sabbath of Yehovah your God: in it you shall not do any work, thou, nor your son, nor your daughter, your manservant, nor your maidservant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger that is within your gates:

[11] For in six days Yehovah made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore Yehovah blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

5th commandment

[12] Honor your father and your mother: that your days may be long upon the land which Yehovah your God gives thee.

6th commandment

[13] You shall not kill.

7th commandment

[14] You shall not commit adultery.

8th commandment

[15] You shall not steal.

9th commandment

[16] You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.

10th commandment

[17] You shall not covet your neighbor’s house, you shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is your neighbor’s.

 

Deut.8

[2] …you shall remember all the way which Yehovah your God led you these forty years in the wilderness, to humble you and to prove you, to know what was in your heart, whether you would keep his commandments, or no

 

1 John 3 

[4] Whosoever commits sin transgresses also the law:

for sin is the transgression of the law.

 

1 John 3

8] He that commits sin is of the devil, for the devil sins from the beginning.

How much sin is going the heaven? =  

Which commandments can you break = 0

 

The New Year we inherited is in the dead of winter. - Frozen, dead…

Exod.12

[1] And Yehovah spoke unto Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt, saying,

[2] This month shall be unto you the beginning of months: it shall be the first month of the year to you.

As you read this information pertaining to God’s calendar below, please notice how Judaism and some Messianics changed or made up some names that are not in the scriptures.

For God’s calendar, don’t use any other calendar. There is only one calendar in the bible.

 

God’s calendar from scripture – that is forgotten

First month

Ha Aviv / Nissan, Est. 3:7 - ha Aviv, Exodus 12:2 and

Exodus 13:4, in English, scripture calls it Abib

 

Second month

Ziv - 1 Kings 6:1 calls it Zif

Not called Iyyar as Judaism and some Messanics state

3. Sivan - Esther 8:9

 

Fourth month

4. No name - Tammuz is Not the name of the 4th month as Judaism and some Messanics state - That is a false god

 

Fifth month

5No name - Av is Not in the bible - This is Not the name of the 5th month as Judaism and some Messanics state

Sixth month 

6. Elul is the name of the 6th month

Elul is the name of the sixth month by the two verses below:

 

Neh.6

[15] So the wall was finished in the twenty and fifth day of the month Elul, in fifty and two days.

[73] So the priests, and the Levites, and the porters, and the singers, and some of the people, and the Nethinims, and all Israel, dwelt in their cities; and when the seventh month came, the children of Israel were in their cities.

Scripture calls it Ethanim

Tishrei is not the beginning of the year and is the wrong name as Judaism and some Messanics state.

Tishrei is neither Adam’s birthday nor when the world was created.

In English, scripture calls it Bul

Not called Cheshvan or Mar Cheshvan as Judaism and some Messanics state.

9. Chislev - Zach 7:1

In English, scripture calls it Chisleu

In English, scripture calls it Tebeth

11. Shevat - Zach 1:7 - in English, scripture calls it Sebat

Did you know Yeshua/Yeshua was born in Israel?

Yeshua is his name in Hebrew and it means "He will save".

Did you know the letter "J "in our alphabet was created about 500 yours ago?

 

Did you know, the Gospels and letters were in Koine Greek?

 

The Greek transliteration and sound for the English word “Yeshua “ 

Ιησους - Iisous pronounced ee-ay-sooce

 

Did you know?

Yeshua was Jewish?

Joseph and Mary were Jewish? (Yoseph and Miriam)?

The prophets were Jewish?

The Apostles were Jewish?

There is a difference between the Jews in the bible and the Jews in the Jewish Religion today?

 

I am talking about Jews in the Bible, not Jews in Judaism.

 

Judaism was created about 200 to 400 AD by fake rabbis.

There are “NO” rabbis in the Bible except Yeshua, Yeshua your master.

Some people try to tell you rabbi means teacher, it does not.

 

In Hebrew, moreh is a male teacher, morah is a female teacher.

 

Bible says:

Matt.23

[8] But be not you called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Messiah; and all you are brethren.

[10] Neither be you called masters: for one is your Master, even Messiah.

 

Yeshua never said call no man teacher.

 

John 20

[16] Yeshua said unto her, Mary.

She turned herself, and said unto him, Rabboni; which is to say, Master.

 

John 1

[38] Then Yeshua turned, and saw them following, and said unto them, What seek you? They said unto him, Rabbi, (which is to say, being interpreted, Master,) where do you dwell?

The word “Christian” appears three time in scripture

 

Acts 11

[26] And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people.

And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.

 

Acts 26

[28] Then Agrippa said unto Paul, Almost you persuad me to be a Christian.

 

1Pet.4

[16] Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf.

There were no Protestants before 1500 AD nor Catholics at the time of Messiah Yeshua

 

So what is the true meaning of the word “Christian”?

 

Let's define some words: Messiah and Christian

Greek- Christos - Messiah

Hebrew - Messiah - מְשִיחַ = Anointed One

The English word “Christian” below really means Messiah followers, not meaning Protestants or Catholics.

Messiah followers - מְשִׁיחִ י מְשִׁיחִיִּים

 

Yeshua and the apostles read from the TaNaKh - acronym - ( Torah / Teaching, Nevi'im / Prophets and Ketivim / Writings).

 

You know this is called today as the Old Testament.

 

The TaNaKh was written Hebrew.

2 questions:

 What is the New Covenant?

Who was the New Covenant given to?

 

God’s laws would be written in our hearts sealed with the blood of the Messiah – no longer of animal sacrifices.

 

The law:

The word Law (Torah) is often misunderstood when reading the bible.

 

The law has many parts:

Commandments, ordinances, judgments and sacrifices etc…

Torah – first five books in the bible means teaching, instruction.

 

Law – sacrifices

Rom.10 [4]

For Messiah /Messiah is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone that believes

 

End:

τελος telos tel'-os - From a primary word τελλω tello (to set out for a definite point or goal); properly the point aimed at as a limit, the result...

 

Messiah is our GOAL

 

Levitical Priesthood (sacrifices) was the schoolmaster

 

Gal 3: 24-25

Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Messiah/Messiah, that we might be justified by faith. But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster.

 

Other “Ends” (Goals):

 

1 Peter 1:9

Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls

 

1 Tim 1:5

Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned: 

 

Who was the new covenant given to?

Jer.31

[31] Behold, the days come, said Yehovah, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:

(33) But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel;

 

Apostle Paul quotes Jer.31:31 above.

 

Heb.8

[8] For finding fault with them, he said, Behold, the days come, said the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah…

 

If the New Covenant was given to the house of Israel, how do I partake of the New Covenant?

Always One God for All!

 

Exod.

12:49 One law shall be to him that is home born, and unto the stranger that sojourns among you

 

Lev. 19:34

But the stranger that dwells with you shall be unto you as one born among you, and you shall love him as thyself; for you were strangers in the land of Egypt: I am Yehovah your God.

 

Num.15

[16] One law and one manner shall be for you, and for the stranger that sojourns with you.

 

[29] You shall have one law for him that sins through ignorance, both for him that is born among the children of Israel, and for the stranger that sojourns among them.

 

Jas.4

[12] There is one lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy:....

 

In Messiah, there is only ONE body.

 

Jews and Gentiles all KEEP the same Commandments and Feasts of God.

We are all ONE in Messiah.

 

All of us need to understand:

 

Eph.2

[19] Now therefore you (Gentiles) are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints, and of the household of God;

[20] And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Yeshua Messiah himself being the chief corner stone;

[21] In whom all the building fitly framed together grows unto an holy temple in Yehovah:

[22] In whom you also are built together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.

 

We are all “One” in Messiah

 

Eph.3:6

That the Gentiles should be fellow heirs, and of the same body and partakers of his promise in Messiah and put no difference between us and them, purifying their hearts by the gospel…

 

Acts.15

[9] And put no difference between us (Jews) and them (Gentiles), purifying their hearts by faith.

Rom.3

[22] Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Yeshua Messiah unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:

 

Rom.10

[12] For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.

[13] For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved

 

Who is the Vine?

John 15:5

Yeshua said: I am the vine, you are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same brings forth much fruit: for wiyout me you can do nothing.

 

You are grafted in

According to Romans 11 you must be grafted among the natural branches (Israel) and into the vine which is Messiah

 

Rom. 11:17

And if some of the branches (the Jews) be broken off, and you (Gentiles) being a wild olive tree, wert grafted in among them, and with them partake of the root and fatness of the olive tree,

[18] Boast not against the branches (the Jews). But if thou boast, you bear not the root, but the root thee.

[19] You wilt say then, The branches were broken off, that I might be graffed in.

[20] Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and you stand by faith.

Be not high minded, but fear:

[21] For if God spared not the natural branches(the Jews), take heed lest he also spare not you. (Gentiles)

  

Gal 3:28

There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for you are all one in Messiah Yeshua.

 

Now that you have joined in the Covenant, what are these Laws of God that are supposed to be written on our hearts?

 

Most Christians that I have asked do not know where the 10 Commandments are written in the bible. DO YOU?

 

Corinthians 6:9

Know you not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God?

Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.

 

Gal 5:

[19] Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,

[20] Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,

[21] Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

 

Matt 22: 35-40

Then one of them, which was a lawyer, asked him a question, tempting him, and saying,

Master, which is the great commandment in the law?

 

Yeshua said unto him, you shall love Yehovah your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. 

This is the first and great commandment.

 

Deut 6:5 

From the Law the First Commandment above takes in the first four commandments and explains how you should LOVE GOD.

 

And the second is like unto it, you shall love your neighbor as yourself. 

 

On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

 

Lev 19:18

The Second commandment above takes in the other six commandments and explains how you should love your neighbor.

 

One important Question:

What is Sin?

 

1 John, chapter 3:4

Whosoever commits sin transgresses also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. 

How much sin is going to heaven? 0
