שַׁבָּתוֹן
The last day, a Great day, a Holy Convocation, a Solemn Assembly
Lev.23 [34] Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, the fifteenth
day of this seventh month shall be the feast of tabernacles for
seven days unto Yehovah.
[35] On the first day shall be a holy convocation: you shall
do no servile work therein.
[36] Seven days you shall offer an offering made by fire unto Yehovah:
Today *** on the eighth day shall
be an holy convocation unto you; and
you shall offer an offering made by fire unto Yehovah: it is a
solemn assembly; and you shall do no servile work therein.
Solemn assembly: עֲצֶרֶת
עֲצֶרֶת עֲצָרָה ‛ătsârâh ‛ătsereth, ats-aw-raw', ats-eh'-reth
An assembly, especially on a holy day (a meeting)
Back to Lev. 23
[37] These are the feasts of Yehovah, which
you shall proclaim to be holy convocations,
to offer an offering made by fire unto Yehovah, a
burnt offering, and a meat offering, a sacrifice, and drink offerings, everything
upon his day:
[38] Beside the Sabbaths of Yehovah, and
beside your gifts, and beside all your vows, and beside all your freewill
offerings, which you give unto Yehovah.
[39] Also in the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when
you have gathered in the fruit of the land, you shall keep a feast
unto Yehovah seven days:
*** on the first day shall be
a Sabbath, and on the “eighth day” shall be a sabbath.
[40] And you shall take you on the first day the boughs of goodly
trees, branches of palm trees, and the boughs of thick trees, and willows of
the brook; and you shall rejoice before Yehovah your
God seven days.
[41] And you shall keep it a feast unto Yehovah seven
days in the year.
It shall be a statute forever in
your generations: you shall celebrate it in the seventh month.
[42] You shall dwell in booths seven days; all
that are Israelites born shall dwell in booths:[43] That your generations may
know that I made the children of Israel to dwell in booths, when I brought them
out of the land of Egypt: I am Yehovah your
God.
[44] And Moses declared unto the
children of Israel the feasts of Yehovah.
(Which we did again in 2022, Praise God)
Ezra.3
[1] And when the
seventh month was come, and the children of Israel were in the cities, the
people gathered themselves together as one man to Jerusalem.
[2] Then stood up Jeshua the son
of Jozadak,
and his brethren the priests, and Zerubbabel the
son of Shealtiel,
and his brethren, and built the altar of the God of Israel, to offer burnt
offerings thereon, as it is written in the law of Moses the man of God.
[3] And they set the altar upon his bases; for fear was upon them
because of the people of those countries: and they offered burnt offerings
thereon unto Yehovah, even burnt offerings
morning and evening.
[4] They kept also the feast of
tabernacles, as it is written, and offered the daily burnt offerings by
number, according to the custom, as the duty of every day required;
[5] And afterward offered the continual burnt offering, both of the new
moons, and of all the set feasts of Yehovah that
were consecrated, and of every one that willingly offered a freewill offering
unto Yehovah.
[6] From the first day of the
seventh month began they to offer burnt offerings unto
Yehovah.
But the foundation of the temple of Yehovah was not
yet laid.
Neh.8
[14] And they found written in the law which Yehovah had
commanded by Moses, that the children of Israel should dwell in booths in the
feast of the seventh month:
[15] And that they should publish and proclaim in all
their cities, and in Jerusalem, saying, Go forth unto the mount, and fetch
olive branches, and pine branches, and myrtle branches, and palm branches, and
branches of thick trees, to make booths, as it is written.
[16] So the people went forth, and brought them, and
made themselves booths, every one upon the roof of his house, and in their
courts, and in the courts of the house of God,
and in the street of the water gate, and in the street of the gate of Ephraim.
[17] And all the congregation of them that were come
again out of the captivity made booths, and sat under the booths:
for since
the days of Jeshua the son of Nun unto that
day had not the children of Israel done so.
And there was very great gladness.
[18] Also day by day, from the first day unto the
last day, he read in the book of the law of God. And they kept the feast seven days; and on the eighth day was a solemn assembly,
according unto the manner.
2 Chr. 7 [8]
Also at the same time Solomon kept the feast seven days, and all
Israel with him, a very great congregation, from the entering in
of Hamath unto
the river of Egypt. [9] And in the eighth day they made
a solemn assembly: for they kept the dedication of the altar seven days,
and the feast seven days.
Sad,
even pagan used this word ătsârâh עֲצָרָה

assembly for Baal. And they proclaimed it.

Now for
Zech.14
[1] Behold, the day of Yehovah comes, and thy
spoil shall be divided in the midst of you.
[2] For I will gather all
nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the
houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the
people shall not be cut off from the city.
[3] Then shall Yehovah go forth, and
fight against those nations, as when
he fought in the day of battle.
[4] And his feet shall
stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the
east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east
and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the
mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.
[5] And you shall flee to the valley of the
mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal:
yea, you shall flee, like as you fled from before the earthquake in
the days of Uzziah
king of Judah:
and Yehovah my God shall come, and all the saints with you.
[6] And it shall come to
pass in that day, that the light shall not be clear, nor dark:
[7] But it shall be one day which shall be known to Yehovah, not day, nor night: but it shall
come to pass, that at evening time it shall be light.
[8] And it shall be in
that day, that living waters shall go out from Jerusalem; half of them toward the former sea,
and half of them toward the hinder sea: in summer and in winter shall it be.
[9] And Yehovah shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one Yehovah, and his name
one.
[10] All the land shall
be turned as a plain from Geba
to Rimmon south of
Jerusalem: and it shall be lifted up, and inhabited in her place, from
Benjamin's gate unto the place of the first gate, unto the corner gate, and
from the tower of Hananeel
unto the king's winepresses.
[11] And men shall dwell in
it, and there shall be no more utter
destruction; but Jerusalem shall be safely inhabited.
[12] And this shall be the plague wherewith Yehovah will smite all the people that have
fought against Jerusalem;
Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon
their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue
shall consume away in their mouth.
[13] And it shall come to
pass in that day, that a great tumult from Yehovah shall be among them; and they shall
lay hold every one on the hand
of his neighbor, and his hand shall rise up against the hand of his neighbor.
[14] And Judah also shall fight at Jerusalem; and
the wealth of all the heathen / nations
round about shall be gathered together, gold, and silver, and apparel, in great
abundance.
[15] And so shall be the
plague of the horse, of the mule, of the camel, and of the ass, and of all the
beasts that shall be in these tents, as this plague.
[16] And it shall come to
pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, Yehovah of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles.
[17] And it shall be, that whoso will not come up of all the
families of the earth unto Jerusalem to worship the
King, Yehovah of hosts, even
upon them shall be no rain.
[18] And if the
family of Egypt go not up, and come not, that have no rain;
there shall be the plague, wherewith Yehovah will smite the nations / heathen
that come not up to keep the feast of
tabernacles.
[19] This shall be the
punishment of Egypt, and the punishment of all nations that come not
up to keep the feast of tabernacles.
[20] In that day shall
there be upon the bells of the horses, HOLINESS UNTO THE Yehovah; and the pots in Yehovah's house shall be like the bowl's before the altar.
[21] Yea, every pot in
Jerusalem and in Judah shall be holiness unto Yehovah of hosts: and all they that
sacrifice shall come and take of them, and seethe therein: and
in that day there shall be no
more the Canaanite in the house of Yehovah
of hosts.
John 7
[2] … feast of tabernacles was at hand
[14] Now about the midst of the feast Yeshua went
up into the temple, and taught.
****[37] In the last day, that great
day of the feast, Yeshua stood and cried,
saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.
[38] He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of
his belly shall flow rivers of living water.
[39] (But this spoke he of the Spirit, which they that
believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because
that Yeshua was not yet glorified.)
In

We are commanded by God - Learn
not the way of the heathen
Jer.10 [2] Thus said Yehovah, Learn
not the way of the heathen , and be not dismayed at
the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them.
The customs of the people are vain
[3] For the customs of the people are
vain: for one cuts a tree out of
the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe. [4] They deck
it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers
that it move not.
