Today we use the Gregorian calendar from Pope Gregory; from the
1500’s.
July 4th, 2020 - in the 21
Century
July -- Julius Caesar's month
Middle English Julie
Latin Julius "Julius"
Latin Julius mensis
"month of Julius"
Latin quintilis mensis
"fifth month" – Now the 7th month L
Quintilis (and later Julius) has always had 31 days.
Julius Caesar
reformed the Roman calendar (hence the Julian calendar) in 46 BC. In the
process, he renamed this month after himself.
Yehovah God has His own calendar, which is deleted from the world
We are now in the 4th month of God, day 12 - no scriptural name
Judaism uses Tammuz, a
made up name
Ezek.8[ 14 ] Then he brought me to the
door of the gate of the Yehovah's house
which was toward the north; and, behold, there sat women weeping
for Tammuz - ( pagan deity ) תַּמּוּז -- a
Sumerian deity of food or vegetation, a Phoenician deity

News - commonly reported:
TODAY - Independence Day, the
Fourth of July is a federal holiday in the United States commemorating
the Declaration of Independence of the United States, on July 4, 1776. The Continental
Congress declared that the thirteen American colonies were no
longer subject (and subordinate) to the monarch
of Britain, King George III, and were now united, free, and independent states.
Today’s Topic:
[1] Hear this, all you people; give
ear, all you inhabitants of the world:[2] Both low and high, rich and poor,
together.
[3] My mouth shall speak of wisdom; and
the meditation of my heart shall be of understanding.
[4] I will incline mine ear to a
parable: I will open my dark saying upon the harp.
[1] And Yehovah
spoke unto Moses, saying,[2]
See, I have called by name Bezaleel the son of Uri,
the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah:[3] And I
have filled him with the spirit of God, in wisdom, and in understanding, and in
knowledge, and in all
manner of workmanship,[4] To
devise cunning works, to work in gold, and in silver, and in brass,[5] And in cutting of stones, to set
them, and in carving of timber, to work in all manner of workmanship.
Bezaleel and Aholiab
[1] Then wrought Bezaleel
and Aholiab,
and every wise hearted man, in
whom Yehovah put wisdom and understanding to know how to work all manner of work for the
service of the sanctuary, according to all that Yehovah
had commanded.
[1] Now therefore
hearken, O Israel,
unto the
statutes and unto the judgments, which I teach you, for to do them, that you
may live, and go in and possess the land which Yehovah
God of your fathers gives you.
[2] You shall not add unto the word which I command you,
neither shall you diminish ought from it, that you may keep the commandments of Yehovah your God which I command you.
[3] Your eyes have seen what Yehovah did
because of Baal-peor: for all the men that followed
Baal-peor, Yehovah thy God
hath destroyed them from among you.
[4] But you that did
cleave unto Yehovah your God are alive ever one of
you this day.
[5] Behold, I have
taught you statutes and judgments, even as Yehovah my
God commanded me, that you should do so in the land
whither you go to possess it.
[6] Keep therefore and do them; for this is your wisdom and
your understanding in the sight of the nations,
which shall hear all these statutes, and say,
surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people.
[7] For what nation is there so great, who hath God so nigh
unto them, as Yehovah our God is in all things that
we call upon him for?
[8] And what nation is there so great, that hath statutes and
judgments so righteous as all this law, which I set
before you this day?
[9] Only take
heed to yourself, and keep your soul diligently,
lest you forget the things which your eyes have seen, and lest they depart from
thy heart all the days of thy life: but teach them thy sons, and thy sons' sons;
[10] Specially the day that you stood before Yehovah
your God in Horeb, when Yehovah
said unto me, Gather me the people together, and I will make them hear My Words,
that they may learn to fear me all
the days that they shall live upon the earth, and that they may teach their
children.
[11] And you came near and stood under the mountain; and the
mountain burned with fire unto the midst of heaven, with darkness, clouds, and
thick darkness.
[12] And Yehovah spoke unto you out of the midst of the fire: you
heard the voice of the words, but saw no similitude; only you heard a voice.
[13] And He declared unto you His covenant, which he commanded
you to perform, even Ten
Commandments; and He
wrote them upon two tables of stone.
[14] And Yehovah commanded me at that
time to teach you statutes and judgments, that you might do them in the land
whither you go over to possess it.
[15] Take you
therefore good heed unto yourselves;
for you saw no manner of similitude on the day that
Yehovah spoke unto you in Horeb
out of the midst of the fire:
[16] Lest you corrupt yourselves, and make you a graven image,
the similitude of any figure, the likeness of male or female,
[17] The likeness of
any beast that is on the earth, the likeness of any winged fowl that flies in
the air,
[18] The likeness of anything
that creeps on the ground, the likeness of any fish that is in the waters
beneath the earth:
[19] And lest you lift
up your eyes unto heaven, and when you see the sun, and the moon, and the
stars, even all the host of heaven, should be driven to worship them, and serve
them, which Yehovah thy God hath divided unto all
nations under the whole heaven.
[20] But Yehovah hath taken you, and
brought you forth out of the iron furnace, even out of Egypt, to be unto him a
people of inheritance, as you are this day.
[21] Furthermore Yehovah was angry
with me for your sakes, and swore that I should not go over Jordan, and that I
should not go in unto that good land, which Yehovah thy
God gives you for an inheritance:
[22] But I must die in
this land, I must not go over Jordan: but you shall go over, and possess that
good land.
[23] Take heed unto yourselves, lest you forget the covenant of Yehovah your God, which he made with you, and make you a
graven image, or the likeness of anything, which Yehovah
thy God hath forbidden thee.
[24] For Yehovah thy God
is a consuming fire, even a jealous God.
[25] When you shall beget children, and children's children, and
you shall have remained long in the land, and shall corrupt yourselves, and
make a graven image, or the likeness of anything, and shall do evil in the
sight of Yehovah thy God, to provoke Him to anger:
[26] I call heaven and
earth to witness against you this day, that you shall soon utterly perish from
off the land whereunto you go over Jordan to possess it; you shall not prolong
your days upon it, but shall utterly be destroyed.
[27] And Yehovah shall scatter you
among the nations, and you shall be left few in number among the heathen,
whither Yehovah shall lead you.
[28] And there you shall serve gods, the work of men's hands,
wood and stone, which neither see, nor hear, nor eat, nor smell.
[29] But if from thence you shall seek Yehovah
thy God, you shall find Him, if you seek him with all your heart and with all your
soul.
[30] When you are in tribulation, and all these things are come
upon you, even in the latter days, if you turn to Yehovah
your God, and shall be obedient unto his voice;
[31] (For Yehovah thy God is a merciful God ;) He will not forsake you; neither destroy you, nor forget the covenant of your fathers which He
swore unto them.
[32] For ask now of the days that are past, which were before
you, since the day that God created man upon the earth, and ask from the one
side of heaven unto the other, whether there hath been any such thing as this
great thing is, or hath been heard like it?
[33] Did ever people hear the voice of God speaking out of the
midst of the fire, as you have heard, and live?
[34] Or hath God assayed to go and take Him a nation from the
midst of another nation, by temptations, by signs, and by wonders, and by war,
and by a mighty hand, and by a stretched out arm, and by great terrors,
according to all that Yehovah your God did for you in
Egypt before your eyes?
[35] Unto you it was showed, that you might know that Yehovah He is God; there is none else beside him.
[36] Out of heaven He made you to hear His voice, that he might
instruct you and upon earth he showed you his great fire; and you heard His
words out of the midst of the fire.
[37] And because He loved your fathers, therefore he chose their
seed after them, and brought thee out in his sight with his mighty power out of
Egypt;[38] To drive out nations from before you greater and mightier
than you are, to bring you in, to give you their land for an inheritance, as it
is this day.
[39] Know
therefore this day, and
consider it in your heart, that Yehovah
he is God in heaven above, and upon the earth beneath: there is none else.
[40] You shall keep therefore His statutes, and His commandments,
which I command you this day, that it may go well with you, and with your children
after you, and that you may prolong your days upon the earth, which Yehovah your God gives you, forever.
So where shall wisdom
be found?
Where is the place of understanding?
Job 28
[1]
Surely there is a vein for the silver, and a place for gold where they fine it.
[2] Iron is taken out of the
earth, and brass is molten out of the stone.
[3] He sets an end to darkness,
and searches out all perfection: the stones of darkness, and the shadow of
death.
[4] The flood breaks out from
the inhabitant; even the waters forgotten of the foot: they are dried up, they are gone away from men.
[5] As for the earth, out of it
cometh bread: and under it is turned up as it were fire.
[6] The stones of it are the
place of sapphires: and it hath dust of gold.
[7] There is a path which no
fowl knows, and which the vulture's eye hath not seen:
[8] The lion's whelps have not
trodden it, nor the fierce lion passed by it.
[9] He puts forth his hand upon
the rock; he overturns the mountains by the roots.
[10] He cuts out rivers among
the rocks; and his eye sees every precious thing.
[11] He binds the floods from
overflowing; and the thing that is hid brings he forth
to light.
[12] But
where shall wisdom be found? And where is the place of
understanding?
[13]
Man knows not the price thereof; neither is it found in the land of the living.
[14] The depth says, It is not in me: and the sea says, It is not with me.
[15] It cannot be gotten for gold, neither shall silver be weighed for the price thereof.
[16] It cannot be valued with
the gold of Ophir, with the precious onyx, or the
sapphire.
[17] The gold and the crystal
cannot equal it: and the exchange of it shall not be for jewels of fine gold.
[18] No mention shall be made of
coral, or of pearls: for the price of wisdom is above rubies.
[19] The topaz of Ethiopia shall
not equal it, neither shall it be valued with pure
gold.
[20]
Whence then cometh wisdom? And where is the place of understanding?
[21]
Seeing it is hid from the eyes of all living, and kept close from the fowls of
the air.
[22] Destruction and death say, we have heard the fame thereof with our ears.
[23]
God understands the way thereof, and He knows the place thereof.
[24] For He looks
to the ends of the earth, and sees under the whole heaven;
[25] To make the weight for the
winds; and he weighs the waters by measure.
[26] When he made a decree for
the rain, and a way for the lightning of the thunder:
[27] Then did he see it, and
declare it; he prepared it, yea, and searched it out.
[28]
And unto man he said, Behold, the fear of Yehovah,
that is wisdom; and to depart from evil is understanding.
In closing for now:
One more time,
Be safe out there,
