Today,
we use the Gregorian calendar from Pope Gregory; from the 1500’s,
The
date is March 19, 2022 (in the 21 Century)
March
-- Mars' month
Middle English March(e)
Anglo-French March(e)
Old English Martius
Latin Martius "of Mars"
Latin Marti(s) "Mars" + -us (adj.
suffix)
Latin Martius mensis "month of Mars"
Martius has always
had 31 days.
March
was the original beginning of the year and the time for the resumption of war.
Mars
is the Roman god of war. He is identified
with the Greek god Ares.
God has His own Calendar:
We have a leap year, so we are now in the 13th month
of God called Adar 2, day 15

We
read from law and the prophets every Sabbath like they did in the Book of Acts
13 [15] … after
the reading of the
law and the prophets…
As Yeshua said it:
Luke
24 [44] And Yeshua said
unto them, These are the words which I spoke unto you, while I was yet with
you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me.
Today’s
topic:
A few
verses in Scripture pertaining to:
The
resurrection
Starting with the End:
Ecc.12: [1] Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth,
while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when you shall say, I
have no pleasure in them;
[2] While the sun, or the light, or the moon, or the stars, be not
darkened, nor the clouds return after the rain:
[3] In the day when the keepers of the house shall tremble, and the
strong men shall bow themselves, and the grinders cease because they are few,
and those that look out of the windows be darkened,
[4] And the doors shall be shut in the streets, when the sound of the
grinding is low, and he shall rise up at the voice of the bird, and all the
daughters of music shall be brought low;
[5] Also when they shall be afraid of that which is high, and fears
shall be in the way, and the almond tree shall flourish (be contemned, despised, abhorred), and the grasshopper shall be a burden, and desire shall
fail: because man goes to his long home, and the mourners go about the
streets: [6] Or ever the silver cord be loosed, or the golden bowl be broken, or
the pitcher be broken at the fountain, or the wheel broken at the cistern.
[7] Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was:
and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.
[13] Let us hear the conclusion of the whole
matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the
whole duty of man.
[14] For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every
secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be
evil.
Job 14:
[7] For there is hope of a tree, if it be cut down, that it will
sprout again, and that the tender branch thereof will not cease.
[8] Though the root thereof waxes
old in the earth, and the stock thereof dies in the ground;
[9] Yet through the scent of water
it will bud, and bring forth boughs like a plant.
[10] But man dies, and wastes away:
yea, man gives up the ghost, and where is he?
[11] As the waters fail from the
sea, and the flood decays and dries up:
[12] So man lies down, and rises
not: till the heavens are no more, they shall not awake, nor be
raised out of their sleep.
[13] O that you would hide me in
the grave, that you would keep me secret, until your wrath be past, that you
would appoint me a set time, and remember me!
[14] If a man die, shall he live
again? All the days of my
appointed time will I wait, till my change come.
1Cor.15
[52] In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump:
for the trumpet shall sound, and the
dead shall be raised incorruptible,
and we shall be changed.
[53] For this corruptible must put
on incorruption, and this
mortal must put on immortality.
[54] So when this corruptible
shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on
immortality, and then shall be brought to pass the saying that is
written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
[55] O death, where is your sting?
O grave, where is your victory?
[56] The sting of death is sin;
and the strength of sin is the law.
[57] But thanks be to God, which gives us the victory through
our Lord Yeshua the Messiah.
[58] Therefore, my beloved
brethren, be you steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of Yehovah, forasmuch as you know that your labor is not in
vain in Yehovah.
Yeshua said:
John 6
[39] …this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all
which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day. [40] And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one
which sees the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.
[44] No man can come to me, except
the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.
[54] Whoso eats my
flesh, and drinks my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.
John 11
[20] Then Martha, as soon as she heard that Yeshua
was coming, went and met him: but Mary sat still in the house. [21] Then said Martha unto Yeshua, Lord, if thou had been here, my brother had not
died.
[22] But I know, that even now,
whatsoever thou wilt ask of God, God will give it thee.
[23] Yeshua
said unto her, your brother shall rise again.
[24] Martha said unto
him, I know that he shall rise again in the
resurrection at the last day.
[25] Yeshua said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that
believes in me, though he was dead, yet shall he live: [26] and whosoever
lives and believes in me shall never die.
Do you
believe this?
Matt.22
[23] The same day came to him the Sadducees, which say that there is no resurrection, and asked him,
[24] Saying, Master, Moses
said, if a man die having no children, his brother shall marry his
wife, and raise up seed unto his brother.
[25] Now there were with us seven
brethren: and the first, when he had married a wife, deceased, and, having no
issue, left his wife unto his brother:
[26] Likewise the second also, and
the third, unto the seventh.
[27] And last of all the woman died also.
[28] Therefore in the resurrection
whose wife shall she be of the seven? for they
all had her.
[29] Yeshua answered and said unto them,
You do err, not knowing the
scriptures, nor the power of God.
[30] For in the resurrection they
neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in
heaven.
[31] But as touching the
resurrection of the dead, have you not read that which was spoken unto you by
God, saying,
[32] I am the God of Abraham, and
the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob?
God is
not the God of the dead, but of the living.
Same account in Mark, a little
different
Mark 12
[18] Then come unto him the Sadducees, which say there is no
resurrection; and they asked him, saying,
[19] Master, Moses wrote unto
us, If a man's brother die, and leave his
wife behind him, and leave no children, that his brother should take his wife,
and raise up seed unto his brother.
[20] Now there were seven
brethren: and the first took a wife, and dying left no seed.
[21] And the second took her, and
died, neither left he any seed: and the
third likewise.
[22] And the seven had her, and
left no seed: last of all the woman died also.
[23] In the resurrection therefore,
when they shall rise, whose wife shall she be of them? for the
seven had her to wife.
[24] And Yeshua answering
said unto them, do you not therefore err, because you know not the
scriptures, neither the power of God?
[25] For when they shall rise from the dead, they neither marry, nor are
given in marriage; but are as the angels which are in heaven.
[26] And as touching the dead,
that they rise: have you not read in the book of Moses, how in the bush God
spoke unto him, saying, I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the
God of Jacob?
[27] He is not the God of the dead, but the God of the living: you therefore do greatly
err.
Same account in Luke, a little
different
Luke 20
[27] Then came to him certain of the Sadducees, which deny that
there is any resurrection; and they asked him,
[28] Saying, Master, Moses wrote
unto us, If any man's brother die, having a wife, and he die without children,
that his brother should take his wife, and raise up seed unto his brother.
[29] There were therefore seven
brethren: and the first took a wife, and died without children.
[30] And the second took her to
wife, and he died childless.
[31] And the third took her; and
in like manner the seven also: and they left no children, and died.
[32] Last of all the woman died also.
[33] Therefore in the resurrection
whose wife of them is she? for seven had her
to wife.
[34] And Yeshua answering
said unto them, the children of
this world marry, and are given in marriage:
[35] But they which shall be
accounted worthy to obtain that world and the resurrection from the dead,
neither marry, nor are given in marriage:
[36] Neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto the
angels; and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection.
[37] Now that the dead are raised,
even Moses showed at the bush, when he calls Yehovah the
God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.
[38] For he is not a God of the dead, but of the living: for all live
unto him.
Matt. 27
[50] Yeshua, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded
up the ghost.
[51] And,
behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom;
and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent;
[52] And the graves were opened; and
many bodies of the saints which slept arose,[53] And came out of the graves
after His resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many.
Luke 14
[11] For whosoever exalts himself shall be abased; and he that humbles himself shall be exalted.
[12] Then said he also to him that
bade him, When you make a dinner or a supper, call not your friends, nor your
brethren, neither your kinsmen, nor your rich neighbors; lest they also bid
thee again, and a recompense be made thee.
[13] But
when you make a feast, call the poor, the maimed, the lame, and the blind: [14] and you shall be
blessed; for they cannot recompense thee: for you shall be
recompensed at the resurrection of the just.
Acts 1
[22] Beginning from the baptism of
John, unto that same day that he was taken up from us, must one be ordained to
be a witness with us of His, Messiah’s resurrection.
[26] And they gave
forth their lots; and the lot fell upon Matthias; and he was numbered with the
eleven apostles.
Acts 2
[22] Peter said:
You men of Israel,
hear these words; Yeshua of Nazareth, a man approved of God among
you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of
you, as you yourselves also know:
[23] Him,
being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, you have
taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain:
[24] Whom
God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not
possible that he should be holden of it.
[25] For David spoke concerning him (Psalm 16), I foresaw the Lord always before my face, for
he is on my right hand, that I should not be moved: [26] Therefore did my heart rejoice, and my tongue was glad; moreover also
my flesh shall rest in hope:
[27]
Because you will not leave my soul in hell, neither wilt you suffer your Holy One to see corruption.
[28] Thou had
made known to me the ways of life; you shall make me full of joy with your countenance.
Pss.16
[8] I have set Yehovah
always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved. [9] Therefore my heart is glad, and my
glory rejoices: my flesh also shall rest in hope.
[10] For You will not leave my
soul in hell; neither wilt you suffer your Holy One to see corruption [11] You wilt show me the path of life:
in your presence is fullness of joy; at your right hand there are pleasures for
evermore.
Peter continues:
[29] Men
and brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David,
that he is both dead and buried, and his
sepulcher is with us unto this day.
[30]
Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him,
that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Messiah to sit on his throne; [31] He seeing this before spoke of the resurrection of Messiah, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see
corruption.
Peter
Acts 4
[1] And as they spoke unto the people, the
priests, and the captain of the temple, and the Sadducees, came upon them. [2] Being grieved that they taught the people, and
preached through Yeshua the resurrection from the dead.
[33] And with great power gave the
apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Yeshua:
and great grace was upon them all.
Paul adventures:
Acts 23
[6]…when Paul perceived that the
one part were Sadducees, and the other Pharisees, he cried out in the council,
Men and brethren, I am a Pharisee, the son of a Pharisee: of the hope and resurrection of the dead I am called in question. [7] And when he had so said, there arose a dissension between the
Pharisees and the Sadducees: and the multitude was divided.
[8] For the Sadducees say that
there is no resurrection, neither angel, nor spirit: but the Pharisees confess
both.
Acts 24
[1] And after five days Ananias the
high priest descended with the elders,
and with a certain orator named Tertullus, who informed the governor against Paul.
[2] And
when he was called forth, Tertullus began to accuse him, saying, Seeing that by thee
we enjoy great quietness, and that very worthy deeds are done unto this nation
by your providence,
[3] We
accept it always, and in all places, most noble Felix, with all thankfulness, [4] notwithstanding, that I be not further tedious unto
thee, I pray thee that you would hear us of your clemency a few words.
[5] For we
have found this man a pestilent fellow, and a mover of sedition among all the
Jews throughout the world, and a ringleader of the sect of the Nazarenes:[6] Who also hath gone about to profane the temple: whom
we took, and would have judged according to our law.
[7] But
the chief captain Lysias came upon us, and with great violence took him
away out of our hands,
[8]
Commanding his accusers to come unto thee: by examining of whom yourself may
take knowledge of all these things, whereof we accuse him.
[9] And
the Jews also assented, saying that these things were so.
[10] Then Paul, after that the governor had
beckoned unto him to speak, answered,
Forasmuch as I
know that you have been of many years a judge unto this nation, I do the more
cheerfully answer for myself:
[11]
Because that you may understand, that there are yet but twelve days since I
went up to Jerusalem for to worship.
[12] And they neither found me in the temple disputing with any man, neither
raising up the people, neither in the synagogues, nor in the city:
[13] Neither can they prove the things whereof they now accuse
me.
[14] But this I confess unto thee,
that after the way which they call heresy, so worship I the God of my
fathers, believing
all things which are written in the law and in the prophets:
[15] And have hope
toward God, which they themselves also allow, that there shall be a
resurrection of the dead, both of the just and unjust.
[16] And herein do I exercise myself, to have always
a conscience void of offence toward God, and toward men.
[17] Now after many years I came to bring alms to my
nation, and offerings.
[18] Whereupon certain Jews from Asia found me
purified in the temple, neither with multitude, nor with tumult.
[19] Who ought to have been here before thee, and
object, if they had ought
against me.
[20] Or else let these same here say, if they have
found any evil doing in me, while I stood before the council,
[21] Except it be for this one
voice, that I cried standing among them, Touching
the resurrection of the dead I am called in question by you this day.
[22] And when Felix heard these
things, having more perfect knowledge of that way, he deferred them, and said,
When Lysias the
chief captain shall come down, I will know the uttermost of your matter.
[23] And
he commanded a centurion to keep Paul, and to let him have liberty, and that he
should forbid none of his acquaintance to minister or come unto him.
[24] And
after certain days, when Felix came with his wife Drusilla, which was a Jewess,
he sent for Paul, and heard him concerning the faith in Messiah.
[25] And
as he reasoned of righteousness, temperance, and judgment to come Felix
trembled, and answered, Go your way for this time; when I have a convenient
season, I will call for thee.
[26] He
hoped also that money should have been given him of Paul, that he might lose
him: wherefore he sent for him the oftener, and communed with him.
[27] But
after two years Porcius Festus came into Felix' room: and Felix, willing
to show the Jews a pleasure, left Paul bound.
At the end of time:
Dan.12
[1] And at that time shall Michael stand up,
the great prince which stands for the children of your people: and there shall
be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that
same time: and at that time your people shall be delivered, every one that shall
be found written in the book.
[2] And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth
shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.
[3] And they that are wise
shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to
righteousness as the stars forever and
ever.
Paul to the Romans:
Rom.1
[1] Paul, a servant of Yeshua the Messiah,
called to be an apostle, separated unto the gospel of God,
[2] (Which
he had promised afore by his prophets in the holy scriptures,)
[3]
Concerning his Son Yeshua the Messiah our Lord, which was made of the seed
of David according to the flesh; [4] And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to
the spirit of holiness, by the
resurrection from the dead: [5] By whom we have received grace and apostleship, for obedience to the
faith among all nations, for his name:
[6] Among
whom are you also the called of Yeshua the Messiah:[7] To all that be in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints: Grace to
you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Yeshua the Messiah.
Rom.6
[1] What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin,
that grace may abound?
[2] God
forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?
[3]
Know you not, that so many of
us as were baptized into Yeshua the Messiah were baptized into his death?
[4]
Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Messiah
was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should
walk in newness of life.
[5] For if
we have been planted together in the likeness of His death, we shall be
also in the
likeness of His resurrection:
[6]
Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin
might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.
[7] For he
that is dead is freed from sin.
[8] Now if
we be dead with Messiah, we believe that we shall also live with him:
[9]
Knowing that Messiah being raised from the dead dies no more; death hath no more dominion over him.
[10] For
in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he lives, he lives unto
God.
More references of the
resurrection
Phil.3
[10] That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and
the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death; [11] If
by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.
Heb.11
[35] Women received their dead
raised to life again: and others were
tortured, not accepting deliverance; that
they might obtain a better resurrection…
1 Pet.1
[3] Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Yeshua Messiah, which according to his abundant mercy
hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Yeshua Messiah from the dead, [4] To an
inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fades not away, reserved in heaven for you,[5] Who are kept by
the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last
time.
1Pet.3
[18] For Messiah also
hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to
God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:
[19] By
which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison;
[20] Which
sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the
days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls
were saved by water. [21] The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us
(not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good
conscience toward God,) by the
resurrection of Yeshua Messiah: [22] Who is gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of
God; angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him.
2 Tim.2
[16] … shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase
unto more ungodliness.[17] And their word will eat as doth a canker: of whom
is Hymenaeus and Philetus;
[18] Who concerning the truth have erred, saying that the resurrection is past already; and overthrow the faith of some.
Acts 23
[8]…the Sadducees say that there
is no resurrection, neither angel, nor spirit: but the Pharisees confess both.
Acts 17
[18] Then certain philosophers of the Epicureans, and of
the Stoicks, encountered him. And some
said, what will this babbler say? Others said, He seems to
be a setter forth of strange gods: because he preached unto them Yeshua, and the resurrection.
[19] And they took him, and
brought him unto Areopagus, saying, May we know what
this new doctrine, whereof you speak is?
[20] For you bring certain strange things to our ears: we would know
therefore what these things mean.
[21] (For all the Athenians and strangers which were there spent their
time in nothing else, but either to tell, or to hear some new thing.)
[22] Then Paul stood in the
midst of Mars' hill, and said, You men of Athens, I
perceive that in all things you are too superstitious.
[23] For as I passed by, and beheld your devotions, I found an altar
with this inscription, TO THE UNKNOWN GOD.
Whom therefore you ignorantly worship, him declare I
unto you.
[24] God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is
Lord of heaven and earth, dwells not in temples made with hands;
[25] Neither is worshipped with men's hands, as though he needed anything,
seeing he gives to all life, and breath, and all things;
[26] And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all
the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the
bounds of their habitation;
[27] That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him,
and find him, though he be not far from every one of us:
[28] For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also
of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.
[29] Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to
think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art
and man's device.
[30] And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commands all
men everywhere to repent:
[31] Because He hath appointed a
day, in the which he will judge the
world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given
assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.
[32] And when they heard of the
resurrection of the dead, some mocked: and
others said, we will hear thee again of this
matter.
Rev.20
[1] And I saw an angel come down
from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his
hand.
[2] And he laid hold on the
dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a
thousand years,
[3] And cast him into the bottomless
pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the
nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he
must be loosed a little season.
[4] And I saw thrones, and they
sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them
that were beheaded for the witness of Yeshua,
and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his
image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands;
and they lived and reigned with Messiah a thousand years.
[5] But the rest of the dead lived
not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.
[6] Blessed and holy is he that had part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be
priests of God and of Messiah, and shall reign with him a thousand years.
[14] And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the
second death.
[7] And when the thousand years
are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,
[8] And shall go out to deceive
the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number
of whom is as the sand of the sea.
[9] And they went up on the
breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the
beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.
[10] And the devil that deceived
them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the
false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night forever and
ever
[11] And I saw a great white
throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled
away; and there was found no place for them.
[12] And I saw the dead, small and
great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was
opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things
which were written in the books, according to their works.
[13] And the sea gave up the
dead who were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead who
were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
[14] And death and hell were cast
into the lake of fire. This is the second
death.
[15] And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was
cast into the lake of fire.
Rev.21
[1] And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven
and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
[2] And I John saw the holy
city, New Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as
a bride adorned for her husband.
[3] And I heard a great voice out
of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell
with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them,
and be their God.
[4] And God shall wipe away all
tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor
crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed
away.
[5] And he that sat upon the
throne said, Behold, I make all things new.
And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.
The soul, spirit goes back to God
Again:
Ecc.12
[7] Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and
the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.
1Pet.3
[19] Yeshua went and preached unto the
spirits in prison;[20] Which sometime were disobedient, when once the
longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing,
wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water.
Gen.35
[18] And it came to pass, as her soul (Rachel) was in departing,
(for she died) that she called his name Benoni, but
his father called him Benjamin.
Phil.1
[23] For I am in a strait betwixt two, having a desire to depart,
and to be with Messiah; which is
far better:[24]
Nevertheless to abide in the flesh is more needful for you.
2Cor.5
[6] Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are
at home in the body, we are absent from Yehovah:
[7] (For we walk by faith, not by sight) [8] We are confident, I say, and
willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with Yehovah.[9] Wherefore we labor,
that, whether present or absent,
we may be accepted of him.
1Cor.15
[45] And so it is written, The first man
Adam was made a living soul; the last
Adam was made a quickening spirit.
Rev.11
[3] … I will
give power unto my two witnesses and they shall prophesy a thousand two
hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.
[4] These are the two olive trees, and the two
candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.
[5] And if any man will hurt them, fire proceeds out
of their mouth, and devours their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he
must in this manner be killed.
[6] These have power to shut heaven that it rain not
in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to
blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will.
[7] And when they shall have finished their testimony,
the beast that ascends out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them,
and shall overcome them, and kill them.
[8] And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of
the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our
Lord was crucified.
[9] And they of the people and kindreds
and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and
shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves.
[10] And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice
over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these
two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth.
[11] And after three days and an half the Spirit of life from God
entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon
them which saw them. [12] And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them,
Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies
beheld them.
In closing for now:
As we have seen, the resurrection
