שַׁבָּת שָׁלוֹם

Our address is 101 Forrest Crossing Blvd., Franklin Tn. 37064, suite 105A

We are sadly still using the Gregorian calendar from Pope Gregory; from the 1500’s today in the 21 century

January - Janus's month

Latin Januarius mensis "month of Janus"

Janus is the Roman god of gates and doorways, depicted with two faces looking in opposite directions. His festival month is January.

Januarius had 29 days, until Julius when it became 31 days long.

Today is Jan. 31, 2026

We are now in the 11th month of God called Sh’vat, Day 11

Zech. 1 [7] Upon the four and twentieth day of the eleventh month, which is the month Sebat – Sh’vat שְׁבָט

Today’s topic:

The temple of God

Some interesting verses:

We are now the temple of God

John 4

[21] Yeshua said unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour comes, when you shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father.

[23] But the hour comes, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth:

for the Father seeks  such to worship him.

[24] God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

1 Cor.3

[16] Know you not that you are the temple of God,

 and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?

[17] If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy;

for the temple of God is holy, which temple you are.

2 Cor.6

[16] And what agreement had the temple of God with idols?

for you are the temple of the living God;

as God had said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

Eph.2

[19] Now therefore you are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints, and of the household of God;

[20] And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Yeshua the Messiah himself being the chief corner stone;

[21] In whom all the building fitly framed together grows unto an holy temple in the Lord:

[22] In whom you also are built together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.

The kingdom of God

Luke 17

[20] And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come,

he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:

[21] Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.

the kingdom of heaven

Matt.3

[2] And saying, Repent you: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

Matt.4

[17] From that time Yeshua began to preach, and to say,

Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

Matt.10

[77] And as you go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.

There is no information of the second Temple being destroyed in the letters or Revelation…

Yeshua did prophesy of the Second Temple that was to be destroyed in 70 AD in Matt.24 and Mark 13, read below…

Matt.24

[1] And Yeshua went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple.

[2] And Yeshua said unto them, See you not all these things?

verily I say unto you,

There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.

Mark.13

[1] And as he went out of the temple, one of his disciples saith unto him,

Master, see what manner of stones and what buildings are here!

[2] And Yeshua answering said unto him, See these great buildings?

there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.

The second Temple was destroyed in 70 AD by Titus, a Roman general.

We have to understand these verses:

The abomination that makes desolate

Yeshua said:

Matt.24

[15] When you therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet stand in the holy place,

(whoso reads, let him understand:)

Mark.13

[14] But when you shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet standing where it ought not,

(let him that reads understand,) then let them that be in Judaea flee to the mountains:

Dan.8

[11] Yea, he magnified himself even to the prince of the host, and by him the daily sacrifice was taken away, and the place of his sanctuary was cast down.

[12] And an host was given him against the daily sacrifice by reason of transgression, and it cast down the truth to the ground; and it practiced, and prospered.

[13] Then I heard one saint speaking, and another saint said unto sacrifice, and the transgression of desolation, to give both the sanctuary and the host to be trodden under foot?

Daily sacrifice - 08548 תָּמִיד  {ta-meed'}

Meaning:  continuity, perpetuity, to stretch

1a) continually, continuously (as adverb)

1b) continuity

Notes: - the host was given over for the transgression against the daily sacrifice

Dan.9

[27] And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease,

and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

Dan.11

[28] Then shall he return into his land with great riches; and his heart shall be against the holy covenant; and he shall do exploits, and return to his own land.

[31] And arms shall stand on his part, and

they shall pollute the sanctuary of strength, and shall take away the daily sacrifice, and

they shall place the abomination that makes desolate.

[36] And the king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and

magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvelous things against the God of gods, and shall prosper untill the indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined shall be done.

Dan.12

[11] And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that makes desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.

1290 days  - approx. 3 ½ years

Antichrist, antichrists

1 John 2

[18] Little children, it is the last time: and

as you have heard that antichrist shall come,

even now are there many antichrists;

whereby we know that it is the last time.

[22] Who is a liar but he that denies that Yeshua is the Messiah?

He is antichrist, that denies the Father and the Son.

1 John 4

[3] And every spirit that confesseth not that Yeshua the Messiah is come in the flesh is not of God: and

this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof you have heard that it should come;

and even now already is it in the world.

2 John 1

[7] For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Yeshua the Messiah is come in the flesh.

This is a deceiver and an antichrist

The abomination that makes desolate

Let’s read these verses again:

Daily sacrifice - 08548 תָּמִיד  {ta-meed'}

Meaning:  continuity, perpetuity, to stretch

1a) continually, continuously (as adverb)

1b) continuity

Notes: - the host was given over for the transgression against the daily sacrifice?

Dan.9

[27] And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week:

and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease,

and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

Dan.11

[28] Then shall he return into his land with great riches; and his heart shall be against the holy covenant; and he shall do exploits, and return to his own land.

[31] And arms shall stand on his part, and they shall pollute the sanctuary of strength, and shall take away the daily sacrifice, and they shall place the abomination that makes desolate.

[36] And the king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvelous things against the God of gods,

and shall prosper until the indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined shall be done.

Dan.12

[11] And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that makes desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.

Why are these terms used in scripture?

Confirm the covenant

The holy covenant

The temple of God

Replace the “daily sacrifice” with the abomination that makes desolate

Shall pollute the sanctuary of strength

Standing where it ought not

He shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease

Both the sanctuary and the host to be trodden under foot

It cast down “the truth” to the ground;

and it practiced, and prospered

The holy city

2 witnesses:

Rev.11 [8] And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.

Jerusalem = holy city? spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt?

The third Temple

Rev.11

[1] And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying,

Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein.

[2] But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles:

and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months. 3 ½  years

The last reference with the word Temple in it:

Paul said

2 Thes. 2

[4] Who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshipped;

so that he as God sits in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.

We haven’t seen this yet:

Antichrist

Rev.13

[1] And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.

[2] And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.

[3] And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.

[4] And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying,

Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?

[5] And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months. 3 and 1/2 years

[6] And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven.

[7] And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.

[8] And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

[9] If any man have an ear, let him hear.

[10] He that leads into captivity shall go into captivity: he that kills  with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.

The False prophet

[11] And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spoke as a dragon.

[12] And he exercises all the power of the first beast before him, and causes the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.

[13] And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men,

[14] And deceives them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast;

saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.

[15] And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak,

and cause that as many their right hand, or in their foreheads:

[17] And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

[18] Here is wisdom.

Let him that had understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.  600, 60, 6 or 666

Rev.19

[20] And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image.

These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.

In closing for now:

I guess we will have to wait and see
