We are sadly still using the Gregorian calendar from Pope Gregory; from the 1500’s today in the 21 century
January
- Janus's month
Latin Januarius mensis "month of Janus"
Janus is the Roman god of gates and doorways, depicted with two faces looking in opposite directions. His festival month is January.
Januarius had 29 days,
until Julius when it became 31 days long.
Today is
Jan. 31, 2026
We
are now in the 11th month of God called Sh’vat,
Day 11
Zech.
1 [7] Upon the
four and twentieth day of the eleventh
month, which is the month Sebat – Sh’vat שְׁבָט
Today’s
topic:
The
temple of God
Some interesting verses:
We are now the temple of God
John 4
[21]
Yeshua
said unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour comes, when you shall neither in
this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father.
[23]
But the hour comes, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in
truth:
for the
Father seeks such to worship him.
[24] God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him
in spirit and in truth.
1 Cor.3
[16] Know you not that you are the temple of God,
and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?
[17]
If any man defile the temple of God, him shall
God destroy;
for the temple of God
is holy, which temple you are.
[16]
And what agreement had the temple of God
with idols?
for
you are the temple of the living God;
as God had said, I
will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall
be my people.
The kingdom of God
Luke 17
[20]
And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come,
he answered them and
said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:
[21]
Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for,
behold, the kingdom of God is within you.
the kingdom
of heaven
Matt.3
[2]
And saying, Repent you:
for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
Matt.4
[17]
From that time Yeshua began to preach, and to say,
Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
Matt.10
[77]
And as you go, preach, saying, The
kingdom of heaven is at hand.
There
is no information of the second Temple being destroyed in the letters or Revelation…
Yeshua did prophesy of the Second Temple that was to be destroyed in 70 AD in Matt.24 and Mark 13, read below…
[1]
And as he went out of the temple, one of his disciples saith
unto him,
Master,
see what manner of stones and what buildings are here!
[2] And Yeshua
answering said unto him, See these great buildings?
there
shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.
The abomination that makes desolate
Dan.8
[11]
Yea, he magnified himself even to the prince
of the host, and by him the daily
sacrifice was taken away, and the place of his sanctuary was cast down.
[12]
And an host was given him
against the daily sacrifice by reason of
transgression, and it cast down the truth to the ground; and it
practiced, and prospered.
[13]
Then I heard one saint speaking, and another saint said unto sacrifice, and the
transgression of desolation, to give both the sanctuary and the host to
be trodden under foot?
Daily sacrifice - 08548
תָּמִיד {ta-meed'}

Dan.9
[27]
And he shall confirm
the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease,
and for the
overspreading of abominations he shall make it
desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be
poured upon the desolate.
Dan.11
[28]
Then shall he return into his land with
great riches; and his heart shall be against
the holy covenant; and he shall do exploits, and return to his own
land.
[31]
And arms shall stand on his part, and
they shall pollute the sanctuary of strength, and shall take away the daily sacrifice, and
they shall
place the abomination that makes desolate.
[36]
And the king shall do according to his will; and he
shall exalt himself, and
magnify himself above
every god, and shall speak marvelous things against the God of gods, and shall
prosper untill
the indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined shall be done.
Dan.12
[11]
And from the time that the daily
sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that makes desolate set up,
there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.

The abomination that makes desolate
Let’s read these verses again:
Dan.8
[11]
Yea, he magnified himself even to the prince
of the host, and by him the daily
sacrifice was taken away, and the place of his sanctuary was cast down.
[12]
And an host was given him
against the daily
sacrifice by reason of transgression, and it cast down the truth to
the ground; and it practiced, and prospered.
[13]
Then I heard one saint speaking, and another saint said unto sacrifice, and the transgression
of desolation, to give both the sanctuary and the host to be trodden
under foot?

תָּמִיד {ta-meed'}
Meaning: continuity, perpetuity, to stretch

Dan.9
[27]
And he shall confirm
the covenant with many for one week:
and in the midst of
the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation
to cease,
and for the overspreading
of abominations he shall make it desolate,
even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the

Dan.11
[28]
Then shall he return into his land with
great riches; and his heart shall be against
the holy covenant; and he shall
do exploits, and return to his own land.
[31]
And arms shall stand on his part, and they shall
pollute the sanctuary of strength, and shall take away the daily
sacrifice, and they shall place the abomination
that makes desolate.
[36]
And the king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself,
and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak
marvelous things against the God of gods,
and shall prosper
until the indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined shall be done.
Dan.12
[11] And from the
time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that makes desolate set up,
there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.
Why are these terms used in scripture?
Confirm the covenant
The holy covenant
The temple of God
Replace the “daily sacrifice” with the
abomination that makes desolate
Shall pollute the sanctuary of strength
Standing where it ought not
He shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease
Both the sanctuary and the host to be trodden under foot
It cast down “the truth” to the ground;
and it
practiced, and prospered
The holy city
2
witnesses:
Rev.11
[8] And
their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our
Lord was crucified.
Jerusalem
= holy city? spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt?
2 Thes. 2
[4]
Who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is
worshipped;
so that he as God sits in the temple of God, showing himself
that he is God.
We haven’t seen this yet:
Antichrist
In closing for now:
Praise Yah
