First reference of a covenant in Scripture:
God makes a covenant with Noah
Gen. 6 [18] But
with thee will I establish my covenant; and thou shalt come into the ark, thou, and thy sons, and thy wife,
and thy sons' wives with thee.
[19] And of every living thing of all flesh, two
of every sort shalt thou bring into the ark, to keep
them alive with thee; they shall be male and female.
[20] Of fowls after their kind, and of cattle after their kind, of every
creeping thing of the earth after his kind, two of every sort shall come unto
thee, to keep them alive.
[21] And take thou unto thee of all food that is eaten, and thou shalt gather it to thee; and it shall be for food for thee,
and for them.
[22] Thus did Noah; according to
all that God commanded him, so did he.

Gen. 9 [13] I do
set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth.
[14] And it shall come to pass, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that
the bow shall be seen in the cloud:
[15] And I will remember my covenant, which is between me and you and
every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall no more become a flood
to destroy all flesh.
[16] And the bow shall be in the cloud; and I will look upon it, that I
may remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of
all flesh that is upon the earth.

God makes a covenant with Abram
Gen. 17
[1] And when Abram was ninety years old and nine,
the LORD appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk
before me, and be thou perfect.
[2] And I will make my covenant between me
and thee, and will multiply thee exceedingly.
[3] And Abram fell on his face: and God talked with him, saying,
[4] As for me, behold, my covenant is with
thee, and thou shalt be a father of many
nations.
[5] Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall
be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee.
[6] And I will make thee exceeding fruitful, and I will make nations of
thee, and kings shall come out of thee.
[7] And I will establish my covenant between me and
thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant,
to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee.
[8] And I will give unto thee, and to thy seed after
thee, the land wherein thou art a stranger, all the land of Canaan, for an
everlasting possession; and I will be their God.
[9] And God said unto Abraham, Thou shalt keep my covenant therefore, thou, and thy seed after
thee in their generations.
[10] This is my covenant, which ye shall keep, between me and you and thy seed after
thee; Every man child among you shall be circumcised.
[11] And ye shall circumcise the flesh of your foreskin; and it shall be a token of the covenant betwixt me and
you.
[12] And he that is eight days old shall be
circumcised among you, every man child in your generations, he that is born in
the house, or bought with money of any stranger, which is not of thy seed.
[13] He that is born in thy house, and he that is bought with thy money,
must needs be circumcised: and my covenant shall be in your flesh for an everlasting
covenant.
[14] And the uncircumcised man child whose flesh
of his foreskin is not circumcised, that soul shall be cut off from his people;
he hath broken my covenant.
[15] And God said unto Abraham, As for Sarai thy wife, thou shalt not
call her name Sarai, but Sarah shall her name be.
[16] And I will bless her, and give thee a son also of her: yea, I will
bless her, and she shall be a mother of nations; kings of people shall be of
her.
[17] Then Abraham fell upon his face, and laughed, and said in his
heart, Shall a child be born unto him that is an hundred years old? and shall Sarah, that is ninety years old, bear?
[18] And Abraham said unto God, O that Ishmael might live before thee!
[19] And God said, Sarah
thy wife shall bear thee a son indeed; and thou shalt
call his name Isaac: and I will establish my
covenant with him for an everlasting covenant, and with his seed after him.
[20] And as for Ishmael, I have heard thee:
Behold, I have blessed him, and will make him fruitful, and will multiply him
exceedingly; twelve princes shall he beget, and I will make him a great nation.
[21] But my covenant
will I establish with Isaac, which Sarah shall bear unto thee at
this set time in the next year.
[22] And he left off talking with him, and God
went up from Abraham.
[23] And Abraham took Ishmael his son, and all that were born in his
house, and all that were bought with his money, every male among the men of
Abraham's house; and circumcised the flesh of their foreskin in the selfsame
day, as God had said unto him.
[24] And Abraham was ninety years old and nine, when he was circumcised
in the flesh of his foreskin.
[25] And Ishmael his son was thirteen years old, when he was circumcised
in the flesh of his foreskin.
[26] In the selfsame day was Abraham circumcised, and Ishmael his son.
[27] And all the men of his house, born in the house, and bought with
money of the stranger, were circumcised with him.
Neh. 9
[1] Now in the twenty and fourth day of this month
the children of Israel were assembled with fasting, and with sackclothes, and earth upon them.
[2] And the seed of Israel separated themselves from all strangers, and
stood and confessed their sins, and the iniquities of their fathers.
[3] And they stood up in their place, and read in the book of the law of
the LORD their God one fourth part of the day; and another fourth part they
confessed, and worshipped the LORD their God.
[4] Then stood up upon the stairs, of the Levites, Jeshua,
and Bani, Kadmiel, Shebaniah, Bunni, Sherebiah, Bani, and Chenani, and cried with a loud voice unto the LORD their
God.
[5] Then the Levites, Jeshua, and Kadmiel, Bani, Hashabniah, Sherebiah, Hodijah, Shebaniah, and Pethahiah, said, Stand up and bless the LORD your God for ever and ever: and blessed be thy glorious name, which
is exalted above all blessing and praise.
[6] Thou, even thou, art LORD alone; thou hast made heaven, the heaven
of heavens, with all their host, the earth, and all
things that are therein, the seas, and all that is therein, and thou preservest them all; and the host of heaven worshippeth thee.
[7] Thou art the LORD the God, who didst
choose Abram, and broughtest him forth out
of Ur of the Chaldees, and gavest
him the name of Abraham;
[8] And foundest his heart faithful before
thee, and madest a
covenant with him to give the land of the Canaanites, the Hittites, the
Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Jebusites, and the Girgashites,
to give it, I say, to his seed, and hast performed thy words; for thou art
righteous:
[9] And didst see the affliction of our fathers in Egypt, and
heardest their cry by the Red sea;
covenant with
Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob and their seed ( Israel ) mentioned many times in
scripture, to give them the
land
Exod. 6 [1] Then the
LORD said unto Moses, Now shalt thou see what I will
do to Pharaoh: for with a strong hand shall he let them go, and with a strong
hand shall he drive them out of his land.
[2] And God spake unto Moses, and said unto
him, I am the LORD:
[3] And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by the name
of God Almighty, but by my name YEHOVAH was I not known to them.
[4] And I have also established my covenant
with them, to give them the land of Canaan, the land of their pilgrimage,
wherein they were strangers.
[5] And I have also heard the groaning of the children of
Israel, whom the Egyptians keep in bondage; and I
have remembered my covenant.
2Kgs. 13 [23] And the
LORD was gracious unto them, and had compassion on them, and had respect unto
them, because of his covenant with Abraham, Isaac,
and Jacob, and would not destroy them, neither cast he them from his
presence as yet.

The Mt. Sinai Covenant - the Ten Commandments plus....
Exod. 24 [7] And he took the book of the
covenant, and read in the audience of the people: and they said, All
that the LORD hath said will we do, and be obedient. [8] And Moses took
the blood, and sprinkled it on the people, and said, Behold the blood of the covenant, which the LORD hath
made with you concerning all these words.
Deut. 5 [1] And
Moses called all Israel, and said unto them, Hear, O Israel, the statutes and
judgments which I speak in your ears this day, that ye may learn them, and
keep, and do them.
[2] The LORD our God made a covenant with us in Horeb.
[3] The LORD made not this covenant with our
fathers, but with us, even us, who are all of us here alive this day.
Deut. 29 [1] These are the words of the covenant, which the LORD
commanded Moses to make with the children of Israel in the land of Moab, beside the covenant which he made with them in Horeb.
[2] And Moses called unto all Israel, and said
unto them, Ye have seen all that the LORD did before your eyes in the land of
Egypt unto Pharaoh, and unto all his servants, and unto all his land;
[3] The great temptations which thine eyes
have seen, the signs, and those great miracles:
[4] Yet the LORD hath not given you an heart to perceive, and eyes to
see, and ears to hear, unto this day.
[5] And I have led you forty years in the wilderness: your clothes are
not waxen old upon you, and thy shoe is not waxen old upon thy foot.
[6] Ye have not eaten bread, neither have ye drunk wine or strong drink:
that ye might know that I am the LORD your God.
[7] And when ye came unto this place, Sihon
the king of Heshbon, and Og
the king of Bashan, came out against us unto battle, and we smote them:
[8] And we took their land, and gave it for an inheritance unto the Reubenites, and to the Gadites,
and to the half tribe of Manasseh.
[9] Keep therefore the words of this covenant, and do them, that ye may
prosper in all that ye do.
[10] Ye stand this day all of you before the LORD your God; your
captains of your tribes, your elders, and your officers, with all the men of
Israel,
[11] Your little ones, your wives, and thy stranger that is in thy camp,
from the hewer of thy wood unto the drawer of thy water:
[12] That thou shouldest
enter into covenant with the LORD thy God, and into his oath, which the LORD
thy God maketh with thee this day:
[13] That he may establish thee to day for a people
unto himself, and that he may be unto thee a God, as he hath said unto thee,
and as he hath sworn unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob.
[14] Neither with you only do I make this
covenant and this oath;
[15] But with him that standeth here with us this day
before the LORD our God, and also with him that is not here with us this day:
[16] (For ye know how we have dwelt in the land of
Egypt; and how we came through the nations which ye passed by;
[17] And ye have seen their abominations, and their idols, wood and
stone, silver and gold, which were among them:)
[18] Lest there should be among you man, or woman, or family, or tribe,
whose heart turneth away this day from the LORD our
God, to go and serve the gods of these nations; lest there should be among you
a root that beareth gall and wormwood;
[19] And it come to pass, when he heareth the
words of this curse, that he bless himself in his
heart, saying, I shall have peace, though I walk in the imagination of mine
heart, to add drunkenness to thirst:
[20] The LORD will not spare him, but then the anger of the LORD and his
jealousy shall smoke against that man, and all the curses that are written in
this book shall lie upon him, and the LORD shall blot out his name from under
heaven.
[21] And the LORD shall separate him unto evil out of all the tribes of
Israel, according to all the curses of the covenant that are written in this
book of the law:
[22] So that the generation to come of your children that shall rise up
after you, and the stranger that shall come from a far
land, shall say, when they see the plagues of that land, and the sicknesses
which the LORD hath laid upon it;
[23] And that the whole land thereof is brimstone, and salt, and
burning, that it is not sown, nor beareth, nor any
grass groweth therein, like the overthrow of Sodom,
and Gomorrah, Admah, and Zeboim,
which the LORD overthrew in his anger, and in his wrath:
[24] Even all nations shall say, Wherefore hath the LORD done thus unto
this land? what meaneth the
heat of this great anger?
[25] Then men shall say, Because they have forsaken the covenant of the
LORD God of their fathers, which he made with them when he brought them forth
out of the land of Egypt:
[26] For they went and served other gods, and worshipped them, gods whom
they knew not, and whom he had not given unto them:
[27] And the anger of the LORD was kindled against this land, to bring
upon it all the curses that are written in this book:
[28] And the LORD rooted them out of their land in anger, and in wrath,
and in great indignation, and cast them into another land, as it is this day.
[29] The secret things belong unto the LORD our God: but those things
which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do
all the words of this law.

Sabbath Covenant
Exod. 31 [16] Wherefore the children of Israel shall keep the sabbath,
to observe the sabbath throughout their generations,
for a perpetual covenant.
Lev. 24 [8] Every sabbath he shall set
it in order before the LORD continually, being taken from the children of
Israel by an everlasting covenant.
-----------------------------------
***Exod. 34 [10] And he said, Behold, I make a covenant: before all thy people I will do marvels,
such as have not been done in all the earth, nor in any nation: and all the
people among which thou art shall see the work of the LORD: for it is a
terrible thing that I will do with thee.
----------------------------------
Covenant of salt
Lev. 2 [13] And every oblation of thy meat offering shalt
thou season with salt; neither shalt thou suffer the salt of the covenant of thy God to be lacking
from thy meat offering: with all thine offerings thou
shalt offer salt.
Num. 18 [19] All the
heave offerings of the holy things, which the children of Israel offer unto the
LORD, have I given thee, and thy sons and thy daughters with thee, by a statute
for ever: it is a covenant of salt for ever before the LORD unto thee
and to thy seed with thee.

Much of
this has happened and I believe will happen again
Lev. 26
[1] Ye shall make you no idols nor graven image,
neither rear you up a standing image, neither shall ye
set up any image of stone in your land, to bow down unto it: for I am the LORD
your God.
[2] Ye shall keep my sabbaths,
and reverence my sanctuary: I am the LORD.
[3] If ye walk in my statutes, and keep my commandments, and do them;
[4] Then I will give you rain in due season, and the land shall yield
her increase, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit.
[5] And your threshing shall reach unto the vintage, and the vintage
shall reach unto the sowing time: and ye shall eat your bread to the full, and
dwell in your land safely.
[6] And I will give peace in the land, and ye shall lie down, and
none shall make you afraid: and I will rid evil beasts out of the land, neither
shall the sword go through your land.
[7] And ye shall chase your enemies, and they shall fall before you by
the sword.
[8] And five of you shall chase an hundred, and an hundred of you shall
put ten thousand to flight: and your enemies shall fall before you by the
sword.
[9] For I will have respect unto you, and make you fruitful, and
multiply you, and establish my covenant with you.
[10] And ye shall eat old store, and bring forth the old because of the
new.
[11] And I will set my tabernacle among you:
and my soul shall not abhor you.
[12] And I will walk
among you, and will be your God, and ye shall be my people.
[13] I am the LORD your God, which brought you forth
out of the land of Egypt, that ye should not be their bondmen; and I have
broken the bands of your yoke, and made you go upright.
[14] But if ye will not hearken unto me, and will not do all these
commandments;
[15] And if ye shall despise my statutes, or if your soul abhor my judgments,
so that ye will not do all my commandments, but that ye
break my covenant:
[16] I also will do this unto you; I will even
appoint over you terror, consumption, and the burning ague, that shall consume
the eyes, and cause sorrow of heart: and ye shall sow your seed in vain, for
your enemies shall eat it.
[17] And I will set my face against you, and ye shall be slain before
your enemies: they that hate you shall reign over you; and ye shall flee when
none pursueth you.
[18] And if ye will not yet for all this hearken unto me, then I will punish you seven times more for your sins.
[19] And I will break the pride of your power; and
I will make your heaven as iron, and your earth as brass:
[20] And your strength shall be spent in vain: for your land shall not
yield her increase, neither shall the trees of the land yield their fruits.
[21] And if ye walk contrary unto me, and will not hearken unto me; I will bring seven times more plagues upon you according to
your sins.
[22] I will also send wild beasts among you, which shall rob
you of your children, and destroy your cattle, and make you few in number; and
your highways shall be desolate.
[23] And if ye will not be reformed by me by these things, but will walk
contrary unto me;
[24] Then will I also walk contrary unto you,
and will punish you yet seven times for your sins.
[25] And I will bring a sword upon you, that shall avenge the quarrel of my covenant: and when
ye are gathered together within your cities, I will send the pestilence among
you; and ye shall be delivered into the hand of the enemy.
[26] And when I have broken the staff of your bread, ten women shall
bake your bread in one oven, and they shall deliver you your bread again by
weight: and ye shall eat, and not be satisfied.
[27] And if ye will not for all this hearken unto me, but walk contrary
unto me;
[28] Then I will walk contrary unto you also in
fury; and I, even I, will chastise you seven times for your sins.
[29] And ye shall eat the flesh of your sons, and
the flesh of your daughters shall ye eat.
[30] And I will destroy your high places, and cut down your images, and
cast your carcases upon the carcases
of your idols, and my soul shall abhor you.
[31] And I will make your cities waste, and bring your sanctuaries unto
desolation, and I will not smell the savour of your
sweet odours.
[32] And I will bring the land into
desolation: and your enemies which dwell therein shall be astonished
at it.
[33] And I will scatter you among the heathen,
and will draw out a sword after you: and your land shall be desolate, and your
cities waste.
[34] Then shall the land enjoy her sabbaths, as long as it lieth desolate, and ye be in your enemies' land; even then
shall the land rest, and enjoy her sabbaths.
[35] As long as it lieth desolate it shall rest;
because it did not rest in your sabbaths,
when ye dwelt upon it.
[36] And upon them that are left alive of you I
will send a faintness into their hearts in the lands
of their enemies; and the sound of a shaken leaf shall chase them; and they
shall flee, as fleeing from a sword; and they shall fall when none pursueth.
[37] And they shall fall one upon another, as it were before a sword,
when none pursueth: and ye shall have no power to
stand before your enemies.
[38] And ye shall perish among the heathen, and the land of your enemies
shall eat you up.
[39] And they that are left of you shall pine away in their iniquity in
your enemies' lands; and also in the iniquities of their fathers shall they
pine away with them.
--------------------
[40] If they shall
confess their iniquity, and the iniquity of their fathers, with their trespass
which they trespassed against me, and that also they have walked contrary unto
me;
[41] And that I also have walked contrary unto
them, and have brought them into the land of their enemies; if then their
uncircumcised hearts be humbled, and they then accept of the punishment of
their iniquity:
[42] Then will I remember my covenant with Jacob, and also my covenant
with Isaac, and also my covenant with Abraham will I remember; and I will
remember the land.
[43] The land also shall be left of them, and shall enjoy her sabbaths, while she lieth desolate without them: and they shall accept of the
punishment of their iniquity: because, even because they despised my judgments,
and because their soul abhorred my statutes.
--------------------
[44] And yet for all that, when they be in the land
of their enemies, I will not cast them away, neither will I abhor them, to
destroy them utterly, and to break my covenant with them: for I am the LORD
their God.
[45] But I will for their sakes
remember the covenant of their ancestors, whom I brought forth out
of the land of Egypt in the sight of the heathen, that I might be their God: I
am the LORD.
[46] These are the statutes and judgments and laws,
which the LORD made between him and the children of Israel in mount Sinai by the hand of Moses.
-------------------
the
covenant of an everlasting priesthood given to Phinehas, the son of Eleazar,
the son of Aaron the priest
Num. 25
[1] And Israel abode in Shittim,
and the people began to commit whoredom with the daughters of Moab.
[2] And they called the people unto the sacrifices of their gods: and
the people did eat, and bowed down to their gods.
[3] And Israel joined himself unto Baal-peor:
and the anger of the LORD was kindled against Israel.
[4] And the LORD said unto Moses, Take all the heads of the people, and
hang them up before the LORD against the sun, that the fierce anger of the LORD
may be turned away from Israel.
[5] And Moses said unto the judges of Israel, Slay ye every one his men that were joined unto Baal-peor.
[6] And, behold, one of the children of Israel came and brought unto his
brethren a Midianitish woman in the sight of Moses,
and in the sight of all the congregation of the children of Israel, who were
weeping before the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.
[7] And when Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, saw it, he rose up
from among the congregation, and took a javelin in his hand;
[8] And he went after the man of Israel into the tent, and thrust both
of them through, the man of Israel, and the woman through her belly. So the
plague was stayed from the children of Israel.
[9] And those that died in the plague were twenty and four thousand.
[10] And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
[11] Phinehas,
the son of Eleazar, the
son of Aaron the priest, hath turned my wrath away from the children
of Israel, while he was zealous for my sake among them, that I consumed not the
children of Israel in my jealousy.
[12] Wherefore say, Behold, I give unto him my
covenant of peace:
[13] And he shall have it, and his seed after him,
even the covenant of an everlasting priesthood; because he was zealous for his
God, and made an atonement for the children of Israel.
[14] Now the name of the Israelite that was slain, even that was slain
with the Midianitish woman, was Zimri,
the son of Salu, a prince of a chief house among the Simeonites.
[15] And the name of the Midianitish woman
that was slain was Cozbi, the daughter of Zur; he was head over a people, and of a chief house in Midian.
[16] And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
[17] Vex the Midianites, and smite them:
[18] For they vex you with their wiles, wherewith they have beguiled you
in the matter of Peor, and in the matter of Cozbi, the daughter of a prince of Midian,
their sister, which was slain in the day of the plague for Peor's
sake.

Neh. 13 [29]
Remember them, O my God, because they have defiled the priesthood, and the covenant of the priesthood, and of the
Levites.

God makes a covenant with David about the Messiah
2Chr. 21[7] Howbeit
the LORD would not destroy the house of David, because
of the covenant that he had made with David, and as he promised to
give a light to him and to his sons for ever.
Psalm 132 [11]
The LORD hath sworn in truth unto David; he will not turn from it; Of the fruit
of thy body will I ( Messiah )set upon
thy throne.
Isa. 55 [1] Ho,
every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and
he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk
without money and without price.
[2] Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread? and your labour for that which satisfieth not? hearken diligently
unto me, and eat ye that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness.
[3] Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live;
and I will make an everlasting covenant with you,
even the sure mercies of David.
[4] Behold, I have given him for a witness to the people, a
leader and commander to the people.

Isa. 59 [21] As for
me, this is my covenant with them, saith the
LORD; My spirit that is upon thee, and my words which I have put in thy mouth,
shall not depart out of thy mouth, nor out of the mouth of thy seed, nor out of
the mouth of thy seed's seed, saith the LORD, from
henceforth and for ever.

The New Covenant
Jer. 31 [31] Behold,
the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with
the house of Judah:
[32] Not according to the covenant that I
made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them
out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake,
although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD:
[33] But this shall be the covenant that I
will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts,
and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my
people.
Jer. 32 [40] And I will make an everlasting covenant with them,
that I will not turn away from them, to do them good; but I will put my fear in
their hearts, that they shall not depart from me.

The covenant of Levi
Mal. 2 [4] And ye shall know that I have sent this commandment unto
you, that my covenant might be with Levi,
saith the LORD of hosts.
[5] My covenant was with him of life and
peace; and I gave them to him for the fear wherewith he feared me, and was
afraid before my name.
[8] But ye are departed out of the way; ye have
caused many to stumble at the law; ye have corrupted the covenant of Levi, saith the LORD
of hosts.
[10] Have we not all one father? hath not one God created us? why do
we deal treacherously every man against his brother, by profaning the
covenant of our fathers?
[14] Yet ye say, Wherefore?
Because the LORD hath been witness between thee and the wife of thy youth,
against whom thou hast dealt treacherously: yet is she thy companion, and the
wife of thy covenant.

Messiah - the messenger of the covenant
Mal. 3 [1] Behold,
I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord,
whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to this temple, even the messenger of the
covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith
the LORD of hosts.

[72] To perform the mercy promised to our fathers,

in thy seed shall all the kindreds of the earth be

[8] And he gave him the covenant of
circumcision: and so Abraham begat Isaac, and circumcised him the eighth day;
and Isaac begat Jacob; and Jacob begat the twelve patriarchs.

[15] Brethren, I speak after the manner of men; Though it be but a man's covenant, yet if it be confirmed,
no man disannulleth, or addeth
thereto.
[17] And this I say, that the covenant, that was
confirmed before of God in Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty
years after, cannot disannul, that it should make the promise of none effect.
[6] But now hath he obtained a more excellent
ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was
established upon better promises.
[7] For if that first covenant had been
faultless, then should no place have been sought for
the second.
[8] For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith
the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and
with the house of Judah:
[9] Not according to the covenant that I
made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them
out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I
regarded them not, saith the Lord.

[16] This is the covenant that I will make
with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will
put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;
[29] Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye,

the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was
sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?
[24] And to Jesus the mediator of the new
covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh
