Question: Should we call the 7th month Tishrei?
Answer: NO! The word Tishri is not mentioned even once in TaNaK.
Scripture says ha
Ethanim -1 Kings 8:2
1 Kgs. 8 [2] And all the men of Israel assembled themselves unto king Solomon
at the feast in the month ha Ethanim, which is the
seventh month.
It is the 7th month, not new years
no scripture to prove the world was
created on the 26 of Elul or Adam's birthday now, all made up

Always remember:
Deut. 4 [2] Ye shall not add unto the word which
I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the
commandments of the LORD your God which I command you.
Deut. 12 [32] What thing soever I command you,
observe to do it: thou shalt not add thereto, nor diminish from it.
Prov. 30 [6] Add thou not unto his words, lest he
reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.

1 - Question: Why are we here tonight and tomorrow?
2 - Answer: The Memorial of the Blowing of Trumpets is a Sabbath, and a holy convocation. You shall do no servile
work.
Lev.23 [24] Speak unto the children of Israel,
saying, In the seventh month, in the first day of the month, shall ye have a Sabbath, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, an holy convocation.
[25] Ye shall do no servile work therein: but ye shall offer an
offering made by fire unto the LORD.
Let's look at a few vocabulary words for
better understanding:
Holy convocation מִקְרָא-קֹדֶשׁ
Holy קֹדֶשׁ - set-apartness, separateness, sacredness, holiness of God
Convocation מִקְרָא mik-raw - something called out, that is, a public meeting (the act, the
persons, or the palce); also a rehearsal: - assembly, calling, convocation,
reading
-------
Servile work-
melakat avodah מְלֶאכֶת
עֲבֹדָה
עֲבֹדָה avodah - work of any kind: act, bondservant, labour,
service. tillage, work
מְלֶאכֶת melakat - occupation, work, business public business

What Trumpets are to be remembered?
Memorial of the Blowing of Trumpets
Blow the trumpet! Time to "Wake
up"
Exod. 19
[1] In the third month, when the children
of Israel were gone forth out of the land of Egypt, the same day came they into
the wilderness of Sinai.
[2] For they were departed from Rephidim, and were come to the desert of
Sinai, and had pitched in the wilderness; and there Israel camped before the
mount.
[3] And Moses went up unto God, and the LORD called unto him out of the
mountain, saying, Thus shalt thou say to the house of Jacob, and tell the
children of Israel;
[4] Ye have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and how I bare you on
eagles' wings, and brought you unto myself.
[5] Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant,
then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the
earth is mine:
[6] And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation.
These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel.
[7] And Moses came and called for the elders of the people, and laid
before their faces all these words which the LORD commanded him.
[8] And all the people answered together, and said, All that the LORD
hath spoken we will do. And Moses returned the words of the people unto the
LORD.
[9] And the LORD said unto Moses, Lo, I come unto thee in a thick cloud,
that the people may hear when I speak with thee, and believe thee for ever. And
Moses told the words of the people unto the LORD.
[10] And the LORD said unto Moses, Go unto the people, and sanctify them
to day and to morrow, and let them wash their clothes,
[11] And be ready against the third day: for the third day the LORD will
come down in the sight of all the people upon mount Sinai.
[12] And thou shalt set bounds unto the people round about, saying, Take
heed to yourselves, that ye go not up into the mount, or touch the border of
it: whosoever toucheth the mount shall be surely put to death:
[13] There shall not an hand touch it, but he shall surely be stoned, or
shot through; whether it be beast or man, it shall not live: when the trumpet soundeth long, they shall come up to the
mount.
[14] And Moses went down from the mount
unto the people, and sanctified the people; and they washed their clothes.
[15] And he said unto the people, Be ready against the third day: come
not at your wives.
[16] And it came to pass on the third
day in the morning, that there were thunders and lightnings, and a thick cloud
upon the mount, and the voice of the trumpet exceeding loud; so that all the
people that was in the camp trembled.
[17] And Moses
brought forth the people out of the camp to meet with God; and they stood at
the nether part of the mount.
[18] And mount Sinai was altogether on a smoke, because the LORD
descended upon it in fire: and the smoke thereof ascended as the smoke of a
furnace, and the whole mount quaked greatly.
[19] And when the voice of the trumpet sounded long,
and waxed louder and louder, Moses spake, and God answered him by a voice.
[20] And the LORD came down upon mount Sinai, on the top of the mount: and the
LORD called Moses up to the top of the mount; and Moses went up.
[21] And the LORD
said unto Moses, Go down, charge the people, lest they break through unto the
LORD to gaze, and many of them perish.
[22] And let the priests also, which come near to the LORD, sanctify
themselves, lest the LORD break forth upon them.
[23] And Moses said unto the LORD, The people cannot come up to mount
Sinai: for thou chargedst us, saying, Set bounds about the mount, and sanctify
it.
[24] And the LORD said unto him, Away, get thee down, and thou shalt
come up, thou, and Aaron with thee: but let not the priests and the people
break through to come up unto the LORD, lest he break forth upon them.
[25] So Moses went down unto the people, and spake unto them.
Remember this trumpet - Lord himself again
shall descend from heaven - we shall rise, be changed
1 Cor. 15
[1] Moreover,
brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also
ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
[2] By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached
unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
[3] For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received,
how that Messiah died for our sins
according to the scriptures;
[4] And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according
to the scriptures:
[5] And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve:
[6] After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of
whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep.
[7] After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles.
[8] And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due
time.
[9] For I am the least of the apostles, that am not meet to be called an
apostle, because I persecuted the church of God.
[10] But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was
bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all:
yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.
[11] Therefore whether it were I or they, so we preach, and so ye
believed.
[12] Now if Messiah be preached
that he rose from the dead, how say some among you that there is no
resurrection of the dead?
[13] But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Messiah not risen:
[14] And if Messiah be not risen,
then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain.
[15] Yea, and we are found false witnesses of God; because we have
testified of God that he raised up Messiah:
whom he raised not up, if so be that the dead rise not.
[16] For if the dead rise not, then is not Messiah
raised:
[17] And if Messiah be not
raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins.
[18] Then they also which are fallen asleep in Messiah are perished.
[19] If in this life only we have hope in Messiah,
we are of all men most miserable.
[20] But now is Messiah risen
from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.
[21] For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of
the dead.
[22] For as in Adam all die, even so in Messiah
shall all be made alive.
[23] But every man in his own order: Messiah
the firstfruits; afterward they that are Messiah's
at his coming.
[24] Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to
God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority
and power.
[25] For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet.
[26] The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.
[27] For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith, all
things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all
things under him.
[28] And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son
also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be
all in all.
[29] Else what shall they do which are baptized for the dead, if the
dead rise not at all? why are they then baptized for the dead?
[30] And why stand we in jeopardy every hour?
[31] I protest by your rejoicing which I have in Messiah Yeshua our Lord, I die daily.
[32] If after the manner of men I have fought with beasts at Ephesus,
what advantageth it me, if the dead rise not? let us eat and drink; for to
morrow we die.
[33] Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.
[34] Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge
of God: I speak this to your shame.
[35] But some man will say, How are the dead raised up? and with what
body do they come?
[36] Thou fool, that which thou sowest is not quickened, except it die:
[37] And that which thou sowest, thou sowest not that body that shall
be, but bare grain, it may chance of wheat, or of some other grain:
[38] But God giveth it a body as it hath pleased him, and to every seed
his own body.
[39] All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one kind of flesh of
men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds.
[40] There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the
glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another.
[41] There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and
another glory of the stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory.
[42] So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption;
it is raised in incorruption:
[43] It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in
weakness; it is raised in power:
[44] It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is
a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.
--------------
[45] And so it is written, The first man Adam was
made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.
[46] Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that
which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.
[47] The first man is of the earth, earthy: the
second man is the Lord from heaven.

[48] As is the
earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are
they also that are heavenly.
[49] And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear
the image of the heavenly.
[50] Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the
kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
[51] Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall
all be changed,
[52] In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the
last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised
incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
[53] For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this
mortal must put on immortality.
[54] So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this
mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying
that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
[55] O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?
[56] The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.
[57] But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Yeshua
the Messiah.
[58] Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye
stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye
know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.
[13] But I would not have you to be
ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even
as others which have no hope.
[14] For if we believe that
Yeshau died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Yeshua will
God bring with him.
[15] For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are
alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are
asleep.
[16] For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven
with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and
the dead in Messiah shall rise first:
[17] Then we which are alive and remain shall
be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and
so shall we ever be with the Lord.
[18] Wherefore comfort one another with
these words.

Below are all the
scriptures in TaNak that mention the 7th month,
it is not New
Year
The word Tishri is not mentioned even once.
[4] And the ark rested in the seventh
month, on the seventeenth day of the month, upon the mountains of Ararat.
[29] And this shall be a statute for ever
unto you: that in the seventh month, on the tenth day of the month, ye
shall afflict your souls, and do no work at all, whether it be one of your own
country, or a stranger that sojourneth among you:
[24] Speak unto the children of Israel,
saying, In the seventh month, in the first day of the month, shall ye
have a sabbath, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, an holy convocation.
[27] Also on the tenth day of this
seventh month there shall be a day of atonement: it shall be an holy
convocation unto you; and ye shall afflict your souls, and offer an offering
made by fire unto the LORD.
[34] Speak unto the children of Israel,
saying, The fifteenth day of this seventh month shall be the feast of
tabernacles for seven days unto the LORD.
[39] Also in the fifteenth day of the
seventh month, when ye have gathered in the fruit of the land, ye shall
keep a feast unto the LORD seven days: on the first day shall be a sabbath, and
on the eighth day shall be a sabbath.
[41] And ye shall keep it a feast unto the
LORD seven days in the year. It shall be a statute for ever in your
generations: ye shall celebrate it in the seventh month.
[9] Then shalt thou cause the trumpet of
the jubile to sound on the tenth day of the seventh month, in the day of
atonement shall ye make the trumpet sound throughout all your land.
[1] And in the seventh month, on
the first day of the month, ye shall have an holy convocation; ye shall do no
servile work: it is a day of blowing the trumpets unto you.
[7] And ye shall have on the tenth day of
this seventh month an holy convocation; and ye shall afflict your souls:
ye shall not do any work therein:
[12] And on the fifteenth day of the
seventh month ye shall have an holy convocation; ye shall do no servile
work, and ye shall keep a feast unto the LORD seven days:
[2] And all the men of Israel assembled
themselves unto king Solomon at the feast in the
month Ethanim, which is the seventh month.
[25] But it came to pass in the seventh
month, that Ishmael the son of Nethaniah, the son of Elishama, of the seed
royal, came, and ten men with him, and smote Gedaliah, that he died, and the
Jews and the Chaldees that were with him at Mizpah.
[10] The seventh captain for the
seventh month was Helez the Pelonite, of the children of Ephraim: and in
his course were twenty and four thousand.
[3] Wherefore all the men of Israel
assembled themselves unto the king in the feast which was in the seventh
month.
[10] And on the three and twentieth day of
the seventh month he sent the people away into their tents, glad and
merry in heart for the goodness that the LORD had shewed unto David, and to
Solomon, and to Israel his people.
[7] In the third month they began to lay
the foundation of the heaps, and finished them in the seventh month.
[1] And when the seventh month was
come, and the children of Israel were in the cities, the people gathered
themselves together as one man to Jerusalem.
[6] From the first day of the seventh
month began they to offer burnt offerings unto the LORD. But the foundation
of the temple of the LORD was not yet laid.
[73] So the priests, and the Levites, and
the porters, and the singers, and some of the people, and the Nethinims, and
all Israel, dwelt in their cities; and when the seventh month came, the
children of Israel were in their cities.
[2] And Ezra the priest brought the law
before the congregation both of men and women, and all that could hear with
understanding, upon the first day of the seventh month.
[14] And they found written in the law
which the LORD had commanded by Moses, that the children of Israel should dwell
in booths in the feast of the seventh month:
[17] So Hananiah the prophet died the same
year in the seventh month.
[1] Now it came to pass in the seventh
month, that Ishmael the son of Nethaniah the son of Elishama, of the seed
royal, and the princes of the king, even ten men with him, came unto Gedaliah
the son of Ahikam to Mizpah; and there they did eat bread together in Mizpah.
[25] In the seventh month, in the
fifteenth day of the month, shall he do the like in the feast of the seven
days, according to the sin offering, according to the burnt offering, and
according to the meat offering, and according to the oil.
[1] In the seventh month, in the
one and twentieth day of the month, came the word of the LORD by the prophet
Haggai, saying,
[5] Speak unto all the people of the land,
and to the priests, saying, When ye fasted and mourned in the fifth and
seventh month, even those seventy years, did ye at all fast unto me, even
to me?
