Truth, peace and love

By brother John Zachary Sullivan

Rev. 1:5 Unto Him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in His own blood

שִׂנְאָה, תְּעֹרֵר מְדָנִים;    וְעַל כָּל-פְּשָׁעִים, תְּכַסֶּה אַהֲבָה

Prov.10 [12] Hatred stirreth up strifes: but love covereth all sins.

Sukkat David in Messiah - Tabernacle of David - also in Isaiah 16:5, there as Ohel David ... synonymous...

Isaiah 16:5

Isa.16 [5] And in mercy shall the throne be established: and he shall sit upon it in truth in the tabernacle of David, judging, and seeking judgment, and hasting righteousness.

Amos.9 [11] In that day will I raise up the tabernacle of David [Sukkat David - we understand - in Messiah] that is fallen, and close up the breaches thereof; and I will raise up his ruins, and I will build it as in the days of old…

Acts.15 [16] After this I will return, and will build again the tabernacle of David, which is fallen down; and I will build again the ruins thereof, and I will set it up.

Upon "love"

Deut.4[37] And because he loved thy fathers, therefore he chose their seed after them, and brought thee out in his sight with his mighty power out of Egypt;

Deut.5 [10] And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me and keep my commandments.

Deut.6 [5] And thou shalt love Yehovah thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.

Deut.7 [7]The Yehovah did not set his love upon you, nor choose you, because ye were more in number than any people; for ye were the fewest of all people:

[8] But because Yehovah loved you, and because he would keep the oath which he had sworn unto your fathers, hath Yehovah brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you out of the house of bondmen, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt.

[9] Know therefore that Yehovah thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations;

[13] And he will love thee, and bless thee, and multiply thee: he will also bless the fruit of thy womb, and the fruit of thy land, thy corn, and thy wine, and thine oil, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep, in the land which he sware unto thy fathers to give thee.

Deut.10 [12] And now, Israel, what doth Yehovah thy God require of thee, but to fear Yehovah thy God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve Yehovah thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul,

[15] Only Yehovah had a delight in thy fathers to love them, and he chose their seed after them, even you above all people, as it is this day.

[18] He doth execute the judgment of the fatherless and widow, and loveth the stranger, in giving him food and raiment.[19] Love ye therefore the stranger: for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt.

Deut. 11[1] Therefore thou shalt love Yehovah thy God, and keep his charge, and his statutes, and his judgments, and his commandments, alway.

[13] And it shall come to pass, if ye shall hearken diligently unto my commandments which I command you this day, to love Yehovah your God, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul,

[22] For if ye shall diligently keep all these commandments which I command you, to do them, to love Yehovah your God, to walk in all his ways, and to cleave unto him;

Deut. 13[3] Thou shalt not hearken unto the words of that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams: for Yehovah your God proveth you, to know whether ye love Yehovah your God with all your heart and with all your soul.

Deut.15 [16] And it shall be, if he say unto thee, I will not go away from thee; because he loveth thee and thine house, because he is well with thee;

Deut. 19 [9] If thou shalt keep all these commandments to do them, which I command thee this day, to love Yehovah thy God, and to walk ever in his ways; then shalt thou add three cities more for thee, beside these three:

Deut.23 [5] Nevertheless Yehovah thy God would not hearken unto Balaam; but Yehovah thy God turned the curse into a blessing unto thee, because Yehovah thy God loved thee.

Deut.30 [6] And Yehovah thy God will circumcise thine heart, and the heart of thy seed, to love Yehovah thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, that thou mayest live.

[16] In that I command thee this day to love Yehovah thy God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commandments and his statutes and his judgments, that thou mayest live and multiply: and Yehovah thy God shall bless thee in the land whither thou goest to possess it.

[20] That thou mayest love Yehovah thy God, and that thou mayest obey his voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto him: for he is thy life, and the length of thy days: that thou mayest dwell in the land which Yehovah sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.

Deut.33 [3] Yea, he loved the people; all his saints are in thy hand: and they sat down at thy feet; every one shall receive of thy words.

Pss.11 [5] The Yehovah trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth.

[7] For the righteous Yehovah loveth righteousness; his countenance doth behold the upright.

Pss.18 [1] I will love thee, O Yehovah, my strength.

Pss.37 [28] For Yehovah loveth judgment, and forsaketh not his saints; they are preserved for ever: but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off.

Pss.70 [4] Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: and let such as love thy salvation say continually, Let God be magnified.

Pss.91 [14] Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.

Pss.97 [10] Ye that love Yehovah, hate evil: he preserveth the souls of his saints; he delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked.

Pss.119 [47] And I will delight myself in thy commandments, which I have loved.

[48] My hands also will I lift up unto thy commandments, which I have loved; and I will meditate in thy statutes.

[97] O how love I thy law! it is my meditation all the day. [113] I hate vain thoughts: but thy law do I love.

[119] Thou puttest away all the wicked of the earth like dross: therefore I love thy testimonies. [127] Therefore I love thy commandments above gold; yea, above fine gold.

[132] Look thou upon me, and be merciful unto me, as thou usest to do unto those that love thy name.

[140] Thy word is very pure: therefore thy servant loveth it.

[159] Consider how I love thy precepts: quicken me, O Yehovah, according to thy lovingkindness.

[163] I hate and abhor lying: but thy law do I love.

[165] Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them.

Prov.19 [8] He that getteth wisdom loveth his own soul: he that keepeth understanding shall find good.

Isa.56 [6] Also the sons of the stranger, that join themselves to Yehovah, to serve him, and to love the name of Yehovah, to be his servants, every one that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and taketh hold of my covenant

Jer.31 [3] The Yehovah hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee.

Ezek.33 [31] And they come unto thee as the people cometh, and they sit before thee as my people, and they hear thy words, but they will not do them: for with their mouth they shew much love, but their heart goeth after their covetousness. [32] And, lo, thou art unto them as a very lovely song of one that hath a pleasant voice, and can play well on an instrument: for they hear thy words, but they do them not.

Hos.11 [1] When Israel was a child, then I loved him, and called my son out of Egypt.

Amos.5 [15] Hate the evil, and love the good, and establish judgment in the gate: it may be that Yehovah God of hosts will be gracious unto the remnant of Joseph.

Zech 8:19….love the truth and peace

Mark.12 [30] And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. [31] And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.

Luke.6 - trying to be a counselor of love and peace

[27] But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you,

[32] For if ye love them which love you, what thank have ye? for sinners also love those that love them.

[35] But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil.

John 13 [34] A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.

[35] By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.

John.14 [15] If ye love me, keep my commandments.

John.15 [21] He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

[23] Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.

[24] He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.

[28] Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I.

[31] But that the world may know that I love the Father; and as the Father gave me commandment, even so I do. Arise, let us go hence.

John 15[9] As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love.

[10] If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.

[12] This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.

[13] Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

[17] These things I command you, that ye love one another.

John 21[15] So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of

Jonas, lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs.

[16] He saith to him again the second time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my sheep.

[17] He saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me?

***Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep.

Truth, love, peace

Rom. 5:8 God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Rom. 8 [35] Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
[36] As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.
[37] Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
[38] For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
[39] Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Rom. 12[10] Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honor preferring one another…

1Sam.12 [23] Moreover as for me, God forbid that I should sin against YEHOVAH in ceasing to pray for you: but I will teach you the good and the right way:

Remember to pray daily for your brothers and sisters in Messiah in love.

Rom.13 [8] Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.

[9] For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

Rom.15 [10] Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.

[30] Now I beseech you, brethren, for the Lord Yeshua the Messiah's sake, and for the love of the Spirit, that ye strive together with me in your prayers to God for me

1 Cor.16 [24] My love be with you all in Christ Jesus. Amen.

2 Cor.13 [11] Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you.

[14] The grace of the Lord Yeshua the Messiah, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen.

Gal. 5the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,

[23] Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

John 6: 63 …the flesh profits nothing…

but by the Spirit it could profit everything that really matters, like helping people make it into the Kingdom of Heaven ... with forgiveness of sins and tabernacling with the Lord throughout eternity ...

There is a lot about love in 1 John...

1 John 2 [5] But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.

[10] He that loveth his brother abideth in the light, and there is none occasion of stumbling in him.

[15] Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

1John.3 [1] Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.

[10] In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.

[11] For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.

[14] We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death.

[16] Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.

[17] But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?

[18] My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.

[23] And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Yeshua the Messiah, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.

1 John 4 [7] Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.

[8] He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

[9] In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.

[10] Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

[11] Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.

[12] No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.

[16] And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.

[17] Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.

[18] There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.

[19] We love him, because he first loved us.

[20] If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?

[21] And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also.

1 John 5 [1] Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him.

[2] By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.

[3] For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.

Jude 1 [2] Mercy unto you, and peace, and love, be multiplied.

[21] Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah unto eternal life.

Don't love a lie, but love the Truth

Rev.22

[14] Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. [15] For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

Rev.12 [11] And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.
