Subject: under the law

Any time you see the words "under the law" please apply A or B to the scriptures below

A ) True believers:

1 ) are under the law meaning subject to the law of God

2 ) are not under the law meaning the law is not against them to receive the judgment due

3 ) Sin does not have dominion over us because we do not sin willingly, we are not under the law, it is not against us to receive any judgment

B ) Sinners with a carnal mind are:

1) under the law, it is against them, they get the judgment if they don't repent

2) are not subject to the law of God

3) Sin has dominion over us if we sin: we are not under the law, it is against us to receive judgment

Rom.3[19] Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.

Rom.6[ 14] For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace . [15 ] What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid.

Rom.8[ 7] Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.

Gal.5[18] But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.

kept under the law here is talking about sacrifices until the sacrifice of Yeshua

Gal.3[ 23] But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed.[ 24] Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.
[25] But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster.
