bar or var means son

Dan_3:25 דָּמֵה לְבַר ־אֱלָהִין רְבִיעָאָה the fourth is like the Son of God.

Dan.3[ 25] He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.

Talmud - Mas. Sanhedrin 93a ( they understand the scripture says son of God.)

The righteous are greater than the ministering angels, for it is said, He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the son of God.

Dan_7:13 Son of man came with the clouds of heaven

Dan.7 [13] I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him.

Talmud - Mas. Sanhedrin 98a

They did not understand, read below:

32 R. Alexandri said: R. Joshua b. Levi pointed out a contradiction. ( not a contradiction.) it is written, in its time [will the Messiah come], whilst it is also written, I [the Lord] will hasten it! 33 if they are worthy, I will hasten it: if not, [he will come] at the due time. R. Alexandri said: R. Joshua opposed two verses: it is written, And behold, one like the son of man came with the clouds of heaven34 whilst [elsewhere] it is written, [behold, thy king cometh unto thee . . . ] lowly, and riding upon an ass!

Talmud - Mas. Sanhedrin 96b

(35) [Lit., ‘son of the fallen. Bar Nafle is generally assumed to represent the Greek **, the ‘son of the clouds; cf. Dan. VII, 13, there came with the clouds of heaven one like a son of man, which R. Nahman gave a Hebrew connotation.]

Talmud - Mas. Sanhedrin 97a

the tabernacle of David ha-nofeleth [that is fallen].1 He replied, Thus hath R. Johanan said: in the generation when the son of David [i.e., Messiah] will come, scholars will be few in number, and as for the rest, their eyes will fail through sorrow and grief. Multitudes of trouble and evil decrees will be promulgated anew, each new evil coming with haste before the other has ended.

Prov.30[ 4] Who hath ascended up into heaven, or descended? who hath gathered the wind in his fists? who hath bound the waters in a garment? who hath established all the ends of the earth? what is his name, and what is his son's name, if thou canst tell? מַה־שְּׁמוֹ וּמַה־ שֶּׁם־בְּנוֹ, כִּי תֵדָע [ 5] Every word of God is pure: כָּל־אִמְרַת אֱלוֹהַּ צְרוּפָה he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.[6 ] Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.

Talmud - Mas. Sanhedrin 94a

He, said: Let Hezekiah, who hath eight [shemoneh] names, come and mete out punishment to Sennacherib, who hath [likewise] eight.30 Hezekiah, as it is written, For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called [i] Wonderful, [ii] Counsellor, [iii] Mighty, [iv] Judge,31 [v] Everlasting, [vi] Father, [vii] Prince, and [viii] Peace

(32) Isa. IX, 5. It is assumed that the verse refers to Hezekiah .

Does this sound like a mere man to you?

Isa.9[ 6] For unto us a child יֶלֶד is born, unto us a son בֵּן is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: שִׁכְמוֹ and

his name שְׁמוֹ shall be called Wonderful, Counseller, The mighty God, The everlasting Father אֵל גִּבּוֹר, אֲבִי־עַד , The Prince of Peace.

Cf. the following Rabbinic statements : R. Yose the Galilean said: "The name of the Messiah is Peace, for it is said, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace" (Midrash Pereq Shalom, p. 101); The Messiah is called by eight names; Yinnon [see Ps. 72:12], Tzemach [e.g., Jer. 23:5]; Pele [Wonderful, Isa. 9:6(5)], Yoetz [Counselor, Isa. 9:6(5)], Mashiach [Messiah], El [God, Isa. 9:6(5)], Gibbor [Hero, Isa. 9:6(5)], and Avi Ad Shalom [Eternal Father of Peace, Isa. 9:6(5)]; see Deuteronomy Rabbah 1:20." (Ibid. p. 210)

Rabbi Moses Ben Maim on (Maimonides, born 1135 in Spain, and died
1204 in Egypt) wrote
, "God named Him ( the Messiah) with six names as He says concerning Him:.. That He calleth Him God in a distinctive manner, it is to
say with it, that His glory surpasses that of all other children of man."

Rabbi Abraham Ben Ezra ( born 1093 in Spain, died 1167 in Rome ) wrote," There are some interpreters who say that åWonderful, Everlasting Father1are names of God and only åPrince of Peace1 is the name of the child. But according to my view the interpretation is right ( which says ) :
all are the names of the child."

If it [Psalm 2] be interpreted of the Messiah, the matter is clear. (Aben Ezra)

Rabbis have taught this concerns the Messiah-King... (Rabbi Shlomo Yitzhaki)

Babylonian Talmud, Sukkah 52a

Our Rabbis taught, The Holy One, blessed be He, will say to the Messiah, the son of David (May he reveal himself speedily in our days!), Psalm 2 - Ask of me anything, and I will give it to thee, as it is said, I will tell of the decree etc. this day have I begotten thee, ask of me and I will give the nations for thy inheritance.

In the mystical writing of the Zohar: "Behold Yehovah, rideth swift upon a cloud."

"it is the Son, of Whom it is written, 'Kiss the Son'; Thou art the Son, the faithful shepherd; of Thee it is said, 'Kiss the Son.' Tho Thou art the Governor of the universe, the Head of Israel, the Lord of the ministering angels, the Son of the Highest, the Son of the Holy and blessed One, yea the very Shechinah." Part 3, folio 307, Amsterdam edition

Psalm 2

[1] Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?

[2] The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together,

against the LORD, and against His Anointed ( His Messiah מְשִׁיחוֹ )

[3] Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.

[4] He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.

[5] Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.

[6] Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.

[7] I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; יְהוָה, אָמַר אֵלַי בְּנִי אַתָּה this day have I begotten thee.

[8] Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession. ( Like Talmud above )

[9] Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel.

[10] Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth.

[11] Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling.

[12] Kiss the Son, נַשְּׁקוּ־בַר lest He ( the Son ) be angry, and ye perish from the way, when His ( the Son ) wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in Him.( the Son )

Isa.7[ 14] Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son , and shall call his name Immanuel.

Gen: 24: 16 & 43, Rebecca was a virgin

Gen. 24:16 And the damsel was very fair to look upon, a virgin, בְּתוּלָה ( b'tulah ) neither had any man known her: and she went down to the well, and filled her pitcher, and came up.

Gen. 24:43 Behold, I stand by the well of water; and it shall come to pass, that when the virgin ( Rebecca) cometh forth to draw water, and I say to her, Give me, I pray thee, a little water of thy pitcher to drink;

פִּילַגְשִׁים concubines, not Noahide, not maidens

On the website, http://www.jewfaq.org/barmitz.htm , it is clear bar means "son". ( Judaism 101 )
