Today we use the Gregorian calendar (From Pope Gregory, from the
1500's)
Today is March 15, 2025
March - Mars' month
Middle English March
Latin Martius "of Mars"
Latin Martius mensis "month
of Mars"
Martius has always had 31 days.
March was the original beginning of the year,
and the time for the
resumption of war.
Mars is the Roman god of war. He is identified with the Greek god Ares.
Yehovah has His own calendar: We are now in the 12th month, Adar, day 14
Adar = "glorious"
1) Twelfth month,
corresponding to modern March or April
The second Temple
Ezra.6 [14] And the
elders of the Jews builded and they prospered through
the prophesying of Haggai the prophet and Zechariah the son of Iddo.
And they builded, and finished it, according to the commandment of
the God of Israel,
and according to the commandment of Cyrus, and
Darius, and Artaxerxes king of Persia.
[15] And this
house was finished on the third day of the
month Adar, which was in the sixth year of the reign of Darius the
king.
Esth.3 [7] In the first month, that is, the
month Nisan, in the twelfth year of king Ahasuerus,
they cast Pur, that is, the lot, before Haman from
day to day, and from month to month, to the twelfth month, that is, the
month Adar…
Happy Purim
Today’s Topic
Let’s explore a few terms
The
day of Yehovah
The day of the Lord Yeshua the Messiah
Last days
Latter days
And others…
Some
verses may be duplicated
Sometimes
the day of Yehovah is not the end or the last days
Joel 2 and Acts 2 are basically the same: The Baptism of the
Holy Spirit
The day of Yehovah is very dark
Joel 2
[1] Blow the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy
mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of Yehovah comes, for it is nigh
at hand;
[2] A day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of
clouds and of thick darkness, as the morning spread upon the mountains: a great people and a
strong; there hath not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after it, even to the years of many generations.
[21] And it shall
come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.
Amos 5 [18] Woe
unto you that desire the day of Yehovah!
To what end is it for you?
The day of Yehovah
is darkness, and not light.
[19] As if a man did
flee from a lion, and a bear met him; or went into the house, and leaned his
hand on the wall, and a serpent bit him.
[20] Shall not the day of Yehovah be darkness, and not light?, even very dark and no brightness in it?
Isa.13 [9] Behold, the day
of Yehovah comes,
cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he
shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it.
Isa.26 [21] For, behold, Yehovah comes out of his place to punish the inhabitants
of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover
her slain.
Isa.30 [27] Behold, the
name of Yehovah comes
from far, burning with his anger, and the
burden thereof is heavy: his lips are full of indignation, and his tongue as a
devouring fire: [28] And his breath, as an overflowing stream, shall reach
to the midst of the neck, to sift the nations with the sieve of vanity: and
there shall be a bridle in the jaws of the people, causing them to err.
Isa. 66 [15] For, behold, Yehovah will come with fire, and
with his chariots like a whirlwind, to render his anger with fury, and his
rebuke with flames of fire.
[16] For by fire and by his sword
will Yehovah plead
with all flesh: and the slain of Yehovah shall be
many.
[17] They
that sanctify themselves, and purify themselves in the gardens behind one tree
in the midst, eating swine's flesh,
and the abomination, and the mouse, shall be consumed together, said Yehovah.
[18] For I know their works and their thoughts: it shall come, that I will gather all nations and tongues; and
they shall come, and see my glory.
[19] And I will set a
sign among them, and I will send those that escape of them unto the nations, to
Tarshish, Pul, and Lud, that draw the bow, to Tubal, and Javan,
to the isles afar off, that have not heard my fame, neither have seen my glory;
and they shall declare my glory among
the Gentiles.
[20] And they shall bring all your brethren for an offering unto Yehovah out of all nations upon horses, and in chariots, and
in litters, and upon mules, and upon swift beasts, to my holy mountain
Jerusalem, said Yehovah, as the children of Israel
bring an offering in a clean vessel into the house of Yehovah.
A
few verses pertaining to the day of the Lord Yeshua the Messiah, in
the past and in the future
John
the Baptist
Acts.2 [20] The sun shall be turned into darkness, and
the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come…
This below sounds like the end:
2 Pet.3 [10] But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements
shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein
shall be burned up.
[11] Seeing then
that all these things shall
be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation
and godliness,
[12] Looking for and hasting unto the coming
of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire
shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
1 Cor. 5 [1] It is reported commonly that there is fornication among
you, and such fornication as is not so much as named among the Gentiles, that
one should have his father's wife.
[2] And ye are puffed up, and have not rather mourned, that he that hath
done this deed might be taken away from among you.
[3] For I verily, as absent in body, but present in spirit, have judged
already, as though I were present, concerning him that hath so done this deed,
[4] In the name of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah, when ye are gathered
together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah,
[5] To deliver such an one unto
Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may
be saved in the day of the Lord Yeshua.
1 Cor.15 [22] For as in Adam all die, even
so in Christ shall all be made alive.
[23] But every man
in his own order: Christ / Messiah the first fruits; afterward they that are Messiah's at his coming.[24] Then comes the end, when he shall have
delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down
all rule and all authority and power.
1 Thes.2 [19] For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of rejoicing? Are not
even you in the presence of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah at his coming?
1 John 2 [28] And now, little
children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and
not be ashamed before him at his coming.
1 Thes. 3 [12] And the Lord make
you to increase and abound in love one toward another, and toward all men, even
as we do toward you:
[13] To the end he may establish your hearts unblameable in holiness before God, even our Father, at the
coming of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah with all his saints.
1Cor.4 [5] Therefore judge
nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to
light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the
hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God.
Jude 1 [14] And Enoch also,
the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord comes with ten thousands of
his saints,
[15] To execute judgment upon all, and to
convince all that are ungodly among them of all their
ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches
which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.
Phil.1 [10] That you may approve things that are excellent; that you may be sincere and without offence
till the day of
Christ / Messiah;
Phil.2 [16] Holding forth
the word of life; that I may rejoice in
the day of Christ / Messiah,
that I have not run in vain, neither labored in vain.
This sounds like the end:
2 Thes.2 [1] Now we beseech
you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord
Yeshua the Messiah, and by our gathering together
unto him,
[2] That you be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by
spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of
Christ / Messiah is at
hand.
[3] Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except
there come a falling away first, and
that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
[4] Who opposes and exaltes himself above
all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, showing himself that he is
God.
[5] Remember you not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these
things?
[6] And now you know what with holds that he might be revealed in his
time.
[7] For the mystery of iniquity
doth already work: only he who now letteth will
let, until he be taken out of the way.
[8] And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord
shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the
brightness of his coming:
[9] Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
[10] And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish;
because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
[11] And for this cause God shall send them strong
delusion, that they should believe a lie:
[12] That they all might be
damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
[13] But we are bound to give thanks alway
to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the
beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and
belief of the truth:
[14] Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the
glory of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah.
[15] Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which you
have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle.
[16] Now our Lord Yeshua the Messiah himself,
and God, even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given us everlasting
consolation and good hope through grace,
[17]
Comfort your hearts, and establish you in every good word and work
Don’t say my
lord delays his coming
Matt. 24[48] But and if that evil
servant shall say in his heart, My lord delays his coming;
[49] And shall begin to
smite his fellow servants, and to eat and drink with the drunken;
[50] The lord of that servant
shall come in a day when he looketh not for him,
and in an hour that he is not aware of,
[51] And shall cut him asunder,
and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and
gnashing of teeth.
Luke.12 [45] But and if that
servant say in his heart, My lord delays his coming; and shall begin to beat the menservants and
maidens, and to eat and drink, and to be drunken; [46] The lord of
that servant will come in a day when he looketh not
for him, and at an hour when he is not aware, and will cut him in sunder, and will appoint him his portion with the
unbelievers
A gathering:
Rev. 16
[13] And I saw three unclean spirits
like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the
beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.
[14] For they are the spirits of
devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole
world, to gather them to the
battle of that great day of God Almighty.
Latter
time
Sounds like the antiMessiah:
Zech. 14
[1] Behold, the day of Yehovah comes, and your spoil shall be divided in the midst
of thee.
[2] For I will gather all nations
against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses
rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into
captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city.
[3] Then shall Yehovah go forth, and fight against those nations,
as when he fought in the day of battle.
[4] And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which
is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the
midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very
great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half
of it toward the south
[5] And you shall flee to the valley of the mountains; for
the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal:
yea, you shall flee, like as you fled from before the earthquake in the days of
Uzziah king of Judah: and Yehovah
my God shall come, and all the
saints with you.
The Lord comes with
his saints:
Jude 1
[14] And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of
these, saying, Behold, the Lord comes with ten thousands of his saints,
Zech. 14
5 … Yehovah my God shall come, and all the saints with
you.

[1] And I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven,
clothed with a cloud: and a rainbow was upon his head, and his face was as it
were the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire:[2] And he had in his hand
a little book open: and he set his right foot upon the sea, and his left foot
on the earth,
[3] And cried with a loud voice, as when a lion roareth:
and when he had cried, seven thunders uttered their voices.
[4] And when the seven thunders had uttered their voices, I
was about to write: and I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Seal up
those things which the seven thunders uttered, and write them not.
[5] And the angel which I saw stand upon the sea and upon
the earth lifted up his hand to heaven,
[6] And sware by him that liveth
forever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the
earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are
therein, that there should be time no
longer:
[7] But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall
begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to
his servants the prophets.
