Today we use the Gregorian calendar from Pope Gregory; from the
1500’s,
Today is December
5, 2020 in the 21th century
December -- the tenth month -
now it is the 12th month
Middle English decembre
Old French decembre
Latin december
"tenth month"
Latin decem "ten" + -ber (adj. suffix)
December had 30 days, until Numa when it
had 29 days, until Julius when it became 31 days long.
Yehovah God has His own calendar, which is deleted from the world
We are now in the 9th month of God called Kislev / Chislev - day 19
Zech.7 [1] And it came to pass in the fourth year of
king Darius, that the word of Yehovah came unto Zechariah in the fourth
day of the ninth month, even in Chisleu \ Chislev \ Kislev כִסְלֵו

Beware, the false holidays are here!
“Tis the season to be pagan” is all around us again!
Xmas is a made-up holiday
Beware of the "false image" of love or loneliness
Beware of "false feelings and emotions"
These made-up feasts bring on loneliness, depression, suicide and oh yes, debt.
Always remember: Embellished made-up stories are still lies!
Sad to say, I know most of
the world is getting ready to do the made up holidays Chanukah and Christmas.
I get so many emails about
these holidays to buy, buy, and buy.
Another year goes by and a
new generation of the youth is deceived with lies.
The National Retail Federation (NRF)
WASHINGTON – The National Retail Federation today
forecast that retail sales during 2020 will increase between 3.5
percent and 4.1 percent to more than $3.9 trillion despite uncertainty from the
lingering trade war, corona virus and the presidential election.
The
National Retail Federation expects 2020 holiday sales to rise between 3.6%
and 5.2% year over year, amounting to between $755.3
billion and $766.7 billion.
“The nation’s record-long economic expansion is
continuing, and consumers remain the drivers of that expansion,” NRF President and CEO Matthew Shay said. “With gains in household income and wealth,
lower interest rates and strong consumer confidence, we expect another healthy
year ahead. There are always wild cards we cannot control like corona virus and
a politically charged election year. But when it comes to the fundamentals, our
economy is sound and consumers continue to lead the way.”

There are so many things that
are false, made-up, lies during this season.
A short study for a short
day:
Today’s Topic
Watch for falseness
in people, places, events, words spoken, dreams, etc…
Exod.20
[16] You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.
bear
עָנָה
anah - A primitive root:
properly to eye or (generally) to heed, that is, pay attention; by implication
to respond; by extension to begin to speak; specifically
to sing, shout, testify, announce: -
give account, afflict , cry, hear, lift up, say,
(give a) shout, sing (together by course), speak, testify, utter, (bear) witness.
שָׁקַר
shâqar - A primitive root:
to cheat, that
is, be untrue: - fail, deal falsely, lie.
[1] You shall not
raise a false report: put not your hand with the wicked to be an unrighteous
witness.
[2] You shall not follow a multitude to do evil; neither shall you speak
in a cause to decline after many to wrest judgment:
[3] Neither shall you countenance a poor man in his cause.
[6] You shall not wrest the judgment of your
poor in his cause.
[7] Keep thee far from a false matter;
and the innocent and righteous slay you not: for I will not justify the wicked.
[8] And you shall take no gift: for the gift blinds the wise, and
perverts the words of the righteous.
[9] Also you shall not oppress a stranger: for you know the heart of a
stranger, seeing you were strangers in the land of Egypt.
[10] And six years you shall sow your land, and shall gather in the
fruits thereof:
[11] But the seventh year you shall let it rest and lie still; that the
poor of your people may eat: and what they leave the beasts of the field shall
eat. In like manner you shall deal with your vineyard, and with your olive yard.
[12] Six days you shall do your work, and on the seventh day you shall
rest: that your ox and your ass may rest, and the son of your handmaid, and the
stranger, may be refreshed.
[13] And in all things that I have said unto you be circumspect: and make
no mention of the name of other gods, neither let it be
heard out of your mouth.
[14] Three times you shall keep a feast unto me in the year.
[15] You shall keep the feast of unleavened bread: (you shall eat
unleavened bread seven days, as I commanded thee, in the time appointed of the
month Abib; for in it you came out from Egypt: and
none shall appear before me empty:)
[16] And the feast of harvest, the first fruits of your labors, which you
hast sown in the field: and the feast of ingathering, which is in the end of
the year, when you hast gathered in your labours out
of the field.
[17] Three times in the year all your males shall appear before the Lord
GOD.
[1] And Yehovah
spoke unto Moses, saying,
[2] If a soul sin, and commit a trespass against Yehovah,
and lie unto his neighbour in that which was
delivered him to keep, or in fellowship, or in a thing taken away by violence,
or hath deceived his neighbor;
[3] Or have found that which was lost, and lieth
concerning it, and swear falsely; in any of all
these that a man doeth, sinning therein:
[4] Then it shall be, because he hath sinned, and is guilty, that he
shall restore that which he took violently away, or the thing which he hath
deceitfully gotten, or that which was delivered him to keep, or the lost thing
which he found,
[5] Or all that about which he hath sworn falsely; he shall even restore
it in the principal, and shall add the fifth part more thereto, and give it
unto him to whom it appertaineth, in the day of his
trespass offering.
[6] And he shall bring his trespass offering unto Yehovah,
a ram without blemish out of the flock, with your estimation, for a trespass
offering, unto the priest:
[7] And the priest shall make an atonement for him before Yehovah: and it shall be forgiven him for any thing of all
that he hath done in trespassing therein.
Deut. 5
[6] I am Yehovah
your God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt, from the house of
bondage.
[7] You shall have none other gods before me.
[8] You shall not make thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth
beneath, or that is in the waters beneath the earth:
[9] You shall not bow down thyself unto them, nor serve them: for I Yehovah your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of
the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that
hate me,
[10] And showing mercy unto thousands of them that love me and keep my
commandments.
[11] You shall not take the name of Yehovah your
God in vain: for Yehovah will not hold him guiltless
that takes his name in vain.
[12] Keep the Sabbath day to sanctify it, as Yehovah
your God hath commanded thee.
[13] Six days you shall labor, and do all your work:
[14] But the seventh day is the Sabbath of Yehovah
your God: in it you shall not do any work, you, nor your son, nor your
daughter, nor your manservant, nor your maidservant, nor your ox, nor your ass,
nor any of your cattle, nor your stranger that is within your gates; that your
manservant and your maidservant may rest as well as you.
[15] And remember that you wast a servant in
the land of Egypt, and that Yehovah your God brought
thee out thence through a mighty hand and by a stretched out arm: therefore Yehovah your God commanded thee to keep the sabbath day.
[16] Honor your father and your mother, as Yehovah
your God hath commanded thee; that your days may be prolonged, and that it may
go well with thee, in the land which Yehovah your God
gives thee.
[17] You shall not kill.
[18] Neither shall you commit adultery.
[19] Neither shall you steal.
[20] Neither shall you bear false witness against your neighbor.
[21] Neither shall you desire your neighbor’s wife; neither shall you
covet your neighbor’s house, his field, or his manservant, or his maidservant,
his ox, or his ass, or anything that is your neighbor’s.
Watch for falseness:
Psalms and Proverbs
Pss.7
[14] Behold, he travaileth with
iniquity, and hath conceived mischief, and brought forth falsehood.
Pss.27
[12] Deliver me not over unto the will of mine enemies: for false witnesses are risen up against me, and such as breathe
out cruelty.
Pss.35
[11] False witnesses did rise up; they laid to my charge things that
I knew not.
Pss.44
[17] All this is come upon us; yet have we not forgotten
thee, neither have we dealt falsely
in your covenant.
Pss.119
[104] Through your precepts I get
understanding: therefore I hate every false way.
[118] You hast trodden down all
them that err from your statutes: for their deceit is falsehood.
[128] Therefore I esteem all your precepts concerning all
things to be right; and I hate every false way.
Pss.120
[3] What shall be given unto thee? or
what shall be done unto thee, you false tongue?
Pss.144 watch for a mouth that speak vanity, and their right
hand is a right hand of falsehood.
[11] Rid me, and deliver me from
the hand of strange children, whose mouth speaketh
vanity, and their right hand is a right hand of falsehood:
Prov.6
[19] A false witness
that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among
brethren.
Prov.11
[1] A false balance
is abomination to Yehovah:
but a just weight is his delight.
Prov.12
[17] He that speaketh truth sheweth forth righteousness: but a false witness deceit.
Prov.14
[5] A faithful witness will not lie: but a false witness
will utter lies.
Prov.17
[4] A wicked doer giveth heed to false lips; and a liar giveth ear to a naughty
tongue.
Prov.19
[5] A false witness shall not be unpunished, and he that speaketh lies shall not escape.
[9] A false witness shall not be unpunished, and he that speaketh lies shall perish.
[23] Divers weights are an abomination unto Yehovah; and a false balance is not good.
[28] A false witness shall
perish: but the man that heareth speaketh
constantly.
[14] Whoso boasteth himself of a false gift is like clouds and wind without rain.
[18] A man that beareth false witness against his neighbour is a maul, and a sword, and a sharp arrow.
[1] A false balance is abomination to Yehovah: but a just weight is his delight.
[2] When pride cometh, then cometh shame: but with the lowly is wisdom.
[3] The integrity of the upright shall guide them: but the perverseness
of transgressors shall destroy them.
[4] Riches profit not in the day of wrath: but righteousness delivereth from death.
[5] The righteousness of the perfect shall direct his way: but the
wicked shall fall by his own wickedness.
[6] The righteousness of the upright shall deliver them: but
transgressors shall be taken in their own naughtiness.
[7] When a wicked man dieth, his expectation
shall perish: and the hope of unjust men perisheth.
[8] The righteous is delivered out of trouble, and the wicked cometh in
his stead.
[9] An hypocrite with his mouth destroyeth his neighbor: but through knowledge shall the
just be delivered.
[10] When it goeth well with the righteous,
the city rejoiceth: and when the wicked perish, there
is shouting.
[11] By the blessing of the upright the city is exalted: but it is
overthrown by the mouth of the wicked.
[12] He that is void of wisdom despiseth his neighbor:
but a man of understanding holdeth his peace.
[13] A talebearer revealeth secrets: but he
that is of a faithful spirit concealeth the matter.
[14] Where no counsel is, the people fall: but in the multitude of counsellers there is safety.
[15] He that is surety for a stranger shall smart for it: and he that hateth suretiship is sure.
[16] A gracious woman retaineth honor: and
strong men retain riches.
[17] The merciful man doeth good to his own soul: but he that is cruel troubleth his own flesh.
[18] The wicked worketh a deceitful work: but
to him that soweth righteousness shall be a sure
reward.
[19] As righteousness tendeth to life: so he
that pursueth evil pursueth
it to his own death.
[20] They that are of a froward heart are
abomination to Yehovah: but such as are upright in
their way are his delight.
[21] Though hand join in hand, the wicked shall
not be unpunished: but the seed of the righteous shall be delivered.
[22] As a jewel of gold in a swine's snout, so is a fair woman which is
without discretion.
[23] The desire of the righteous is only good: but the expectation of
the wicked is wrath.
[24] There is that scattereth, and yet increaseth; and there is that withholdeth
more than is meet, but it tendeth to poverty.
[25] The liberal soul shall be made fat: and he that watereth
shall be watered also himself.
[26] He that withholdeth corn, the people
shall curse him: but blessing shall be upon the head of him that selleth it.
[27] He that diligently seeketh good procureth favour:
but he that seeketh mischief, it shall come unto him.
[28] He that trusteth in his riches shall
fall: but the righteous shall flourish as a branch.
[29] He that troubleth his own house shall
inherit the wind: and the fool shall be servant to the wise of heart.
[30] The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise.
[31] Behold, the righteous shall be recompensed in the earth: much more
the wicked and the sinner.
Zech.8
[17] And let none of you imagine evil in your hearts
against his neighbor; and love no false oath: for all these are things
that I hate, saith Yehovah.
Isa. 28
Don’t hide yourselves under falsehood
Isa. 59
Watch your hearts or you may utter
from the heart words of falsehood.
Jer.5
The prophets prophesy falsely
Jer. 6
From the prophet even unto the priest every one deal falsely
Jer.7
swear falsely
Ezek.21
false divination
Hos.10
[4] They have spoken words, swearing falsely in making a covenant…
Zech.5
Swear falsely by My name
Zech.10
[2] For the idols have spoken vanity, and the diviners have
seen a lie, and have told false dreams…
Jer. 51
[14] Every man is brutish in his
knowledge: every founder is confounded by the graven image: for his molten image is falsehood, and there is no breath in them.
[15] They are vanity, and the work of errors: in the time of their visitation they shall perish.
Jer. 14
Watch for people with a false vision and divination, and a thing
of nought, and the deceit of their heart
Jer. 23
prophesy false dreams
Jer.40
Speaking falsely
Matt.24
[11] And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
[24] For there shall arise false Messiahs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it
were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
2 Corth.
11
[13]
watch for… false apostles, deceitful workers,
transforming themselves into the apostles of Messiah.
[14] And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.
[15] Therefore it is no great
thing if Satan’s
ministers also be transformed as the ministers of
righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.
Gal. 2
Watch for false brothers and sisters
1Tim.6
[20] avoid profane and
vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called…
2 Tim. 3
False accusers
Rev.19
[20] And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he
deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped
his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with
brimstone.
Rev.20
[10] And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone,
where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night
forever and ever.
In closing for today
Phil.4
[6] Be careful for (even) nothing;
but in everything by prayer and supplication with
thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
Watch good words and fair speeches
they may be false:
Rom.16
[17] Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and
offences contrary to the doctrine which you have learned; and avoid them.
[18] For they that
are such serve not our Lord Yeshua the Messiah, but
their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.
Beware of the "false image" of love or loneliness
Beware of "false feelings and emotions"
These made-up feasts bring on loneliness, depression, suicide and oh yes, debt.
