Shabbat Shalom
שַׁבָּת שָׁלוֹם
Today, we sadly use the Gregorian calendar from Pope Gregory; from
the 1500’s.
October -- the eighth month – Today it is
the 10th month
Middle English octobre
Latin October
Latin octo
"eight" + -ber (adj. suffix)
Latin october mensis
"eighth month"
October has always had 31
days.
Today is Oct.21, 2023
Yehovah has His own calendar which is deleted from the world
We are now in the eight month, Bool, day 5
Bool - 1 Kings 6:38 - In English, scripture calls it Bul - Not called Cheshvan or Mar Cheshvan as Judaism states
1Kgs.6 [38] … in the month Bul, which is the eighth month
Today’s
topic:
We live by every word of God
Lately, I have noticed some words in scripture causing
problems.
Yeshua said:
Matt.12 [36] But I say unto you,
That every idle
word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day
of judgment.
[37]
For by your words you shall be justified, and by
your words you shall be condemned.
When you use a bible concordance you select
the word(s) that fits your bible verse, not every word.
Greek and Hebrew words have many meanings
in the 21 century.
For an example, I looked up the word Idle from Matt.12:36 above
G692 ἀργός -argos
From G1 (as a negative particle)
inactive, that is, unemployed; (by implication) lazy, useless: - barren, idle, slow. - Total KJV occurrences: 8
Here is a Hebrew meaning:
Then
I looked up in Hebrew a word for idle:
H7503 רָפָה
râphâh
A
primitive root; to slacken (in
many applications, literally or figuratively): - abate, cease, consume, draw
[toward evening], fail, (be) faint, be (wax) feeble, forsake, idle, leave, let alone (go, down), (be)
slack, stay, be still, be slothful, (be) weak (-en) - Total KJV occurrences: 46
Again, when you use a bible concordance you use
the word(s) that fits your bible verse, not every word.
The concordances
have gone wild with
all the new versions of Bibles out there in the world.
Recently we were told; don’t say the names of the months
in scripture, we don’t want to offend people.
I am more worried about offending God.
Here is some scripture:
Here is what God says about His word
Prov.30 [5] Every word of God is pure: he is a shield
unto them that put their trust in him.
Pss.12 [6] The words of Yehovah are pure words:
as silver tried in a furnace of earth,
purified seven times.
Pss.33 [4] For the word of Yehovah is right; and all his works are done in truth.
[6] By the word of Yehovah were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth.
Prov.4 [5] Get wisdom, get
understanding: forget it not; neither
decline from the words of
my mouth.
Prov.5 [7] Hear me now
therefore, O you children, and depart not from the words of my mouth.
Prov.8 [8] All the words of my mouth are in righteousness; there is nothing froward
or perverse in them.
Every
Word of God
Deut.8
[1]
All the commandments which I command
you this day shall you observe to do, that you may live, and multiply, and go
in and possess the land which Yehovah sware
unto your fathers.
[2] And you shall remember all the way which Yehovah your God led you these forty years
in the wilderness, to humble you, and to prove you, to know what was in your
heart, whether you would keep
his commandments, or no.
[3] And he humbled you, and suffered you to hunger,
and fed you with manna, which you knew not, neither did your fathers know; that
he might make you know that man does not
live by bread only, but by every word that
proceeds out of the mouth of Yehovah does man live.
Yeshua quoted this:
Matt.4 [4] But he answered and said, It is written,
Man shall not live by bread alone, but
by every word that
proceeds out of the mouth of God.
Luke.4 [4] And
Yeshua answered him, saying, it is written, that man
shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of
God.
Prov. 22 [17] Bow down your ear,
and hear the words of the wise, and apply your heart unto my knowledge.
[18] For it is a pleasant thing if you keep them within you; they shall
withal be fitted in your lips.
[19] That your trust may be in Yehovah, I have made known to you this
day, even to you.
[20]
Have not I written to you excellent things in counsels and knowledge,[21] That I might make you know the certainty of the words of
truth;
that you might answer the words of truth to them that send unto you?
Other words, with old problems:
For the last time and to put this to rest:
As the minister and a spiritual forensic detective,
I recently researched (up to 10/20/2023) these names:
Jethro, Reuel, Raguel, Midian, Kenites, Hobab until I came to this point:
I can only agree with:
According to a Bible dictionary, it says there is uncertainty pertaining to the identity of Moses
father-in-law.
The nature of the relationship of names one to another, is uncertain.
This is not a new disagreement.
This is an old argument with no answer.
Unbeknown to me was this problem.
I must admit I did not know this disagreement was
going on for a long time in the bible world.
So you see, we are not the first to have this
disagreement.
I'm sorry for participating in this old problem and disagreement with no answer.
So what do we do, leave the congregation or go on in God?
I choose go on with the people of God.
You see, when
there is no answer to a bible problem,
we move on and leave it there.
We did solve the Josh. 4 question pertaining
to the 2 sets of twelve stones.
Psalm 45:1 – To the chief Musician upon Shoshannim,(any lily-like flower)
for the sons of Korah, Maschil, (instruction, passage for
learning; wisdom-song put to music) A Song of loves.
We do see some verses that pertain to the Messiah, some we
are not 100% sure, so we move on
Saul / Paul said:
2 Cor.13 [1]This is the third time I am coming to you.
In the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be
established.
Forgiveness is the answer
Matt.6:9
Yeshua said:
After
this manner therefore pray you:
Our
Father which is in heaven, Hallowed be you name,
Your kingdom come.
Your
will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts, as
we forgive our debtors.
And
lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil:
For
yours are the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.
[14]
For if you forgive men their trespasses, your
heavenly Father will also forgive you:
[15]
But if you forgive not men
their trespasses, neither
will your Father forgive your trespasses.
Yeshua said:
Matt.18 [15]
Moreover if your brother shall trespass against you, go and tell him his fault between you and him alone:
if he shall hear you, you have gained your brother.
[16] But
if he will not hear you, then take with
you one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word
may be established.
[17] And
if he shall neglect to hear them,
tell it unto the
church: (the minister)
but if he neglect to hear the church, (the minister)
let him be unto you as an heathen man and a publican.
[21] Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord Yeshua, how often shall my brother (or sister) sin against me, and I forgive him, until seven times?
[22] Yeshua said unto him, I say not unto you,
until seven times: but, until seventy times seven. (Another words, all the
time)
Yeshua said:
[23] Therefore is the kingdom of heaven
likened unto a certain king, which would take account of his servants.
[24] And when he had begun to reckon,
one was brought unto him, which owed him ten thousand talents.
[25] But forasmuch as he had not
to pay, his lord commanded him to be sold, and his wife, and children, and all
that he had, and payment to be made.
[26] The servant therefore fell
down, and worshipped him, saying, Lord, have patience with me, and I will pay
you all.
[27] Then the lord of that servant was moved with compassion, and loosed him,
and forgave him the debt.
[28]
But the same servant went out, and found one of his fellow
servants, which owed him an hundred pence: and he laid hands on him, and took
him by the throat, saying, pay me that you owe.
[29] And his fellow servant fell
down at his feet, and besought him, saying, Have patience with me, and I will
pay you all.
[30] And he would not: but went
and cast him into prison, till he should pay the debt.
[31] So when his fellow servants saw
what was done, they were very sorry, and came and told unto their lord all that
was done.
[32] Then his lord, after that he had
called him, said unto him, O you wicked servant, I
forgave you all that debt, because you desired me:
[33] Should not you also have had
compassion on thy fellow servant, even as I had pity on you?
[34] And his lord was wroth and delivered
him to the tormentors, till he should pay all that was due unto him.
[35] So likewise shall my heavenly Father do also unto you if you
from your hearts forgive not everyone his brother (or sister) their trespasses.
In closing for today:
We live
by every Word of God
Prov.13 [13] Whoso despises the word shall be destroyed
But he
that fears the commandment shall be rewarded.
Remember, forgiveness is the key for
getting forgiveness from God

Phil.2 [14] Do all things
without murmurings and disputings:

sons / daughters of God, without

[1] Rebuke
not an elder, but entreat
him as a father; and the younger men as brethren;
[2] The elder women as mothers;
the younger as sisters, with all purity.
[3] Honor widows that are widows indeed.
[4] But if any widow have children or nephews,
let them learn first to shew piety at home, and to
requite their parents: for that is good and acceptable before God.
[5] Now she that is a widow indeed, and desolate, trusts in God, and continueth in supplications and prayers night and day.
[6] But she that lives in pleasure is dead while she lives.
[7] And these things give in charge, that they may be blameless.
[19] Against an elder receive not an accusation, but before two or three witnesses.
2 Pet.3 [11] Seeing then that all these
things shall be dissolved, what
manner of persons ought you to be in
all holy conversation and godliness,
[12] Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of
God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements
shall melt with fervent heat?
[13] Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for
new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwells righteousness.
[14] Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such
things, be diligent that you may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.
