Happy Purim

פוּרִים

Today, we use the Gregorian calendar from Pope Gregory; from the 1500’s,

Today is February 27th, 2021

Tomorrow is the last day of this month

February -- month of Februa

Latin dies februatus "day of purification"

Februarius had 28 days, until 450 BC when it had 23 or 24 days on some of every second year, until Julius when it had 29 days on every fourth year and 28 days otherwise.

This month had 27 days until the month was abolished by Julius.

Februa is the Roman festival of purification held on February fifteenth. It is possibly of Sabine origin.

Sabine, member of an ancient Italic tribe located in the mountainous country east of the Tiber River. They were known for their religious practices and beliefs, and several Roman institutions were said to have derived from them.

Yehovah God has His own calendar, which is deleted from the world

We are now in the 12th month in the scriptures called Adar, day 14

Esth.3 [7] ….the twelfth month, that is, the month Adar = “glorious”   אֲדָר

Happy Purim

The 14th, 15th of Adar

Esth.3

[21] To stablish this among them, that they should keep the fourteenth day of the month Adar, and the fifteenth day of the same, yearly…

Esth.3 [7] ….the twelfth month, that is, the month Adar = “glorious”   אֲדָר

דָר means to dwell, live

I see by this word Adar, when broken down, can convey a message that the "invisible, glorious God" wants to dwell among us and in us.

In the Book of Esther, the Hebrew the word "Esther" means "star" but the root of the word "Esther" is "satarand means "hidden".

The words, God and Lord do not appear in the book of Esther, they are "hidden or silent".

Today’s Topic:

 We need the Shepherd Yeshua

There are shepherds, some good, and some bad

Yeshua, the good shepherd

John.10

[1] Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that enters not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbs up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.
[2] But he that enters in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep.
[3] To him the porter opens; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calls his own sheep by name, and leads them out.
[4] And when he puts forth his own sheep, he goes before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice.
[5] And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers.
[6] This parable spoke Yeshua unto them: but they understood not what things they were which he spoke unto them.
[7] Then said Yeshua unto them again, verily, verily, I say unto you,
I am the door of the sheep.
[8] All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them.
[9]
I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.
[10] The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

[11] I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd gives his life for the sheep.

[12] But he that is a hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, sees the wolf coming, and leaves the sheep, and flees: and the wolf catches them, and scatters the sheep.
[13] The hireling flees, because he is a hireling, and cares not for the sheep.

[14] I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine.

[15] As the Father knows me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep.
[16] And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be
one fold, and one shepherd.
[17] Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again.
[18] No man takes it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again.

This commandment have I received of my Father.

Pss.23

[1] Yehovah is my shepherd; I shall not want. - lack
[2] He makes me to lie down in green pastures: he leads me beside the still waters.
[3] He restores my soul: he leads me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
[4] Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for you art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
[5] You prepare a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: you anoint my head with oil; my cup runs over.
[6] Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of Yehovah forever.

Pss.80

[1] Give ear, O Shepherd of Israel, you that leads Joseph like a flock; you that dwells between the cherubims, shine forth.[2] Before Ephraim and Benjamin and Manasseh stir up thy strength, and come and save us.[3] Turn us again, O God, and cause thy face to shine; and we shall be saved.

Isa.40

[9] O Zion, that brings good tidings, get thee up into the high mountain; O Jerusalem, that brings good tidings, lift up thy voice with strength; lift it up, be not afraid; say unto the cities of Judah, Behold your God!

[10] Behold, the Lord Yehovah will come with strong hand, and his arm shall rule for him: behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him.

[11] He shall feed his flock like a shepherd: he shall gather the lambs with his arm, and carry them in his bosom, and shall gently lead those that are with young.

[12] Who have measured the waters in the hollow of his hand, and meted out heaven with the span, and comprehended the dust of the earth in a measure, and weighed the mountains in scales, and the hills in a balance?

[13] Who have directed the Spirit of Yehovah, or being his counselor have taught him?

[14] With whom took he counsel, and who instructed him, and taught him in the path of judgment, and taught him knowledge, and showed to him the way of understanding?
[15] Behold, the nations are as a drop of a bucket, and are counted as the small dust of the balance: behold, he taketh up the isles as a very little thing.
[
16] And Lebanon is not sufficient to burn, or the beasts thereof sufficient for a burnt offering.
[17] All nations before him are as nothing; and they are counted to him less than nothing, and vanity.
[18] To whom then will you liken God? Or what likeness will you compare unto him?
[
19] The workman melts a graven image, and the goldsmith spreads it over with gold, and casts silver chains.
[
20] He that is so impoverished that he has no oblation chooses a tree that will not rot; he seeks unto him a cunning workman to prepare a graven image that shall not be moved.
[
21] Have you not known?

Have you not heard? Have it not been told you from the beginning? Have you not understood from the foundations of the earth?
[22] It is he that sits upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretches out the heavens as a curtain, and spreads them out as a tent to dwell in:
[
23] That brings the princes to nothing; he makes the judges of the earth as vanity.

[24] Yea, they shall not be planted; yea, they shall not be sown: yea, their stock shall not take root in the earth: and he shall also blow upon them, and they shall wither, and the whirlwind shall take them away as stubble.
[
25] To whom then will you liken me, or shall I be equal? Says the Holy One.

[26] Lift up your eyes on high, and behold who have created these things, that bring out their host by number: he calls them all by names by the greatness of his might, for that he is strong in power; not one fails.
[
27] Why says you, O Jacob, and speaks O Israel, My way is hid from Yehovah, and my judgment is passed over from my God?
[
28] Hast you not known? hast you not heard, that the everlasting God, Yehovah, the Creator of the ends of the earth, faints not, neither is weary? There is no searching of his understanding.

[29] He gives power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increases strength.
[
30] Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall:
[
31] But they that wait upon Yehovah shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

Zech.13

[7] Awake, O sword, against my shepherd, and against the man that is my fellow, says Yehovah of hosts: smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered: and I will turn mine hand upon the little ones.

Zech.10

[2] For the idols have spoken vanity and the diviners have seen a lie, and have told false dreams; they comfort in vain: therefore they went their way as a flock, they were troubled, because there was no shepherd. [3] Mine anger was kindled against the shepherds, and I punished the goats: for Yehovah of hosts have visited his flock the house of Judah, and have made them as his goodly horse in the battle.

Num. 27

[15] And Moses spoke unto Yehovah saying,[16] Let Yehovah, the God of the spirits of all flesh, set a man over the congregation,[17] Which may go out before them, and which may go in before them, and which may lead them out, and which may bring them in; that the congregation of Yehovah be not as sheep which have no shepherd.

Ezek.34

[1] And the word of Yehovah came unto me, saying,
[2] Son of man,
prophesy against the shepherds of Israel, prophesy, and say unto them, Thus says the Lord Yehovah unto the shepherds; Woe be to the shepherds of Israel that do feed themselves!

Should not the shepherds feed the flocks?

[3] You eat the fat, and you clothe you with the wool, you kill them that are fed: but you feed not the flock.
[4] The diseased have you not strengthened, neither have you healed that which was sick, neither have you bound up that which was broken, neither have you brought again that which was driven away, neither have you sought that which was lost; but with force and with cruelty have you ruled them.
[5] And they were scattered, because there is no shepherd: and they became meat to all the beasts of the field, when they were scattered.
[6] My sheep wandered through all the mountains, and upon every high hill: yea, my flock was scattered upon all the face of the earth, and none did search or seek after them.
[7] Therefore, you shepherds, hear the word of Yehovah;
[8] As I live, says the Lord Yehovah, surely because my flock became a prey, and my flock became meat to every beast of the field, because there was no shepherd, neither did my shepherds search for my flock, but the shepherds fed themselves, and fed not my flock;
[9] Therefore, O you shepherds, hear the word of Yehovah;
[10] Thus says the Lord Yehovah; Behold, I am against the shepherds; and I will require my flock at their hand, and cause them to cease from feeding the flock; neither shall the shepherds feed themselves anymore; for I will deliver my flock from their mouth, that they may not be meat for them.

[11] For thus says the Lord Yehovah; Behold, I, even I, will both search my sheep, and seek them out.
[12] As a shepherd seek out his flock in the day that he is among his sheep that are scattered; so will I seek out my sheep, and will deliver them out of all places where they have been scattered in the cloudy and dark day.
[13] And I will bring them out from the people, and gather them from the countries, and will bring them to their own land, and feed them upon the mountains of Israel by the rivers, and in all the inhabited places of the country.
[14] I will feed them in a good pasture, and upon the high mountains of Israel shall their fold be: there shall they lie in a good fold, and in a fat pasture shall they feed upon the mountains of Israel.
[15] I will feed my flock, and I will cause them to lie down,
says the Lord Yehovah.
[16] I will seek that which was lost, and bring again that which was driven away, and will bind up that which was broken, and will strengthen that which was sick: but I will destroy the fat and the strong; I will feed them with judgment.

[17] And as for you, O my flock, thus says the Lord Yehovah; Behold, I judge between cattle and cattle, between the rams and the he goats.
[18] Seems it a small thing unto you to have eaten up the good pasture, but you must tread down with your feet the residue of your pastures? and to have drunk of the deep waters, but you must foul the residue with your feet?
[19] And as for my flock, they eat that which you have trodden with your feet; and they drink that which you have fouled with your feet.
[20]
Therefore thus says the Lord Yehovah unto them; Behold, I, even I, will judge between the fat cattle and between the lean cattle.
[21] Because you have thrust with side and with shoulder, and pushed all the diseased with your horns, till you have scattered them abroad;
[22] Therefore will I save my flock, and they shall no more be a prey; and I will judge between cattle and cattle.
[23] And I will set up one shepherd over them, and he shall feed them, even my servant David; he shall feed them, and he shall be their shepherd.
[24] And I Yehovah will be their God, and my servant David (Messiah) a prince among them; I Yehovah have spoken it.
[25] And I will make with them a covenant of peace, and will cause the evil beasts to cease out of the land: and they shall dwell safely in the wilderness, and sleep in the woods.
[26] And
I will make them and the places round about my hill a blessing; and I will cause the shower to come down in his season; there shall be showers of blessing.
[27] And the tree of the field shall yield her fruit, and the earth shall yield her increase, and they shall be safe in their land, and shall know that I am Yehovah, when I have broken the bands of their yoke, and delivered them out of the hand of those that served themselves of them.
[28] And they shall no more be a prey to the heathen, neither shall the beast of the land devour them; but they shall dwell safely, and none shall make them afraid.
[29] And I will raise up for them a plant of renown, and they shall be no more consumed with hunger in the land, neither bear the shame of the heathen any more.

[30] Thus shall they know that I Yehovah their God am with them, and that they, even the house of Israel, are my people, says the Lord Yehovah.

[31] And you my flock, the flock of my pasture, are men, and I am your God, says the Lord Yehovah.

Ezek.37

[21] And say unto them, Thus says the Lord Yehovah; Behold, I will take the children of Israel from among the heathen, whither they be gone, and will gather them on every side, and bring them into their own land: [22] And I will make them one nation in the land upon the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king to them all: and they shall be no more two nations, neither shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more at all:
[23] Neither shall they defile themselves any more with their idols, nor with their detestable things, nor with any of their transgressions: but I will save them out of all their dwelling places, wherein they have sinned, and will cleanse them: so shall they be my people, and I will be their God.

[24] And David (Messiah) my servant shall be king over them; and they all shall have one shepherd: they shall also walk in my judgments, and observe my statutes, and do them.

[25] And they shall dwell in the land that I have given unto Jacob my servant, wherein your fathers have dwelt; and they shall dwell therein, even they, and their children, and their children's children for ever: and my servant David shall be their prince forever.
[26] Moreover I will make a covenant of peace with them; it shall be an everlasting covenant with them: and I will place them, and multiply them, and will set my sanctuary in the midst of them for evermore.
[27] My tabernacle also shall be with them: yea, I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
[28] And the heathen shall know that I Yehovah do sanctify Israel, when my sanctuary shall be in the midst of them for evermore.

Jer.23

[1] Woe be unto the pastors that destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture! says Yehovah.

[2] Therefore thus says Yehovah God of Israel against the pastors that feed my people; You have scattered my flock, and driven them away, and have not visited them: behold, I will visit upon you the evil of your doings, says Yehovah.

[3] And I will gather the remnant of my flock out of all countries whither I have driven them, and will bring them again to their folds; and they shall be fruitful and increase.
[4] And I will set up shepherds over them which shall feed them: and they shall fear no more, nor be dismayed, neither shall they be lacking, says Yehovah.

[5] Behold, the days come, says Yehovah, that I will raise unto David, (Messiah) a righteous Branch, and a King shall reign and prosper, and shall execute judgment and justice in the earth.
[6] In his days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely: and this is his name whereby he shall be called,
THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.

[7] Therefore, behold, the days come, says Yehovah, that they shall no more say, Yehovah lives, which brought up the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt;
[8] But, Yehovah lives, which brought up and which led the seed of the house of Israel out of the north country, and from all countries whither I had driven them; and they shall dwell in their own land.

[9] Mine heart within me is broken because of the prophets; all my bones shake; I am like a drunken man, and like a man whom wine have overcome, because of Yehovah, and because of the words of his holiness.
[10] For the land is full of adulterers; for because of swearing the land mourns; the pleasant places of the wilderness are dried up, and their course is evil, and their force is not right.

[11] For both prophet and priest are profane; yea, in my house have I found their wickedness, says Yehovah.
[12] Wherefore their way shall be unto them as slippery ways in the darkness: they shall be driven on, and fall therein: for I will bring evil upon them, even the year of their visitation, says Yehovah.

[13] And I have seen folly in the prophets of Samaria; they prophesied in Baal, and caused my people Israel to err.
[14] I have seen also in the prophets of Jerusalem a horrible thing: they commit adultery, and walk in lies: they strengthen also the hands of evildoers, that none doth return from his wickedness: they are all of them unto me as Sodom, and the inhabitants thereof as Gomorrah.

[15] Therefore thus says Yehovah of hosts concerning the prophets; Behold, I will feed them with wormwood, and make them drink the water of gall: for from the prophets of Jerusalem is profaneness gone forth into all the land.

[16] Thus says Yehovah of hosts, Hearken not unto the words of the prophets that prophesy unto you: they make you vain: they speak a vision of their own heart, and not out of the mouth of Yehovah.
[17] They say still unto them that despise me,
Yehovah have said, You shall have peace; and they say unto every one that walks after the imagination of his own heart, No evil shall come upon you.
[18] For who have stood in the counsel of Yehovah, and have perceived and heard his word? Who have marked his word, and heard it?
[19] Behold, a whirlwind of Yehovah is gone forth in fury, even a grievous whirlwind: it shall fall grievously upon the head of the wicked.
[20] The anger of Yehovah shall not return, until he have executed, and till he have performed the thoughts of his heart: in the latter days you shall consider it perfectly.
[21] I have not sent these prophets, yet they ran: I have not spoken to them, yet they prophesied.
[22] But if they had stood in my counsel, and had caused my people to hear my words, then they should have turned them from their evil way, and from the evil of their doings.

[23] Am I a God at hand, says Yehovah, and not a God afar off?
[24] Can any hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him? says Yehovah. Do not I fill heaven and earth? Says Yehovah.

[25] I have heard what the prophets said, that prophesy lies in my name, saying, I have dreamed, I have dreamed.
[26] How long shall this be in the heart of the prophets that prophesy lies
? Yea, they are prophets of the deceit of their own heart;
[27] Which think to cause my people to forget my name by their dreams which they tell every man to his neighbor, as their fathers have forgotten my name for Baal.
[28] The prophet that have a dream, let him tell a dream; and he that have my word, let him speak my word faithfully. What is the chaff to the wheat? says Yehovah.

[29] Is not my word like as a fire? says Yehovah; and like a hammer that breaks the rock in pieces?
[30] Therefore, behold, I am against the prophets, says Yehovah, that steal my words everyone from his neighbor.
[31] Behold, I am against the prophets, says Yehovah, that use their tongues, and say, He says.
[32] Behold, I am against them that prophesy false dreams, says Yehovah, and do tell them, and cause my people to err by their lies, and by their lightness; yet I sent them not, nor commanded them: therefore they shall not profit this people at all, says Yehovah.

[33] And when this people, or the prophet, or a priest, shall ask thee, saying, What is the burden of Yehovah? You shall then say unto them, what burden? I will even forsake you, says Yehovah.
[34] And as for the prophet, and the priest, and the people, that shall say, The burden of Yehovah, I will even punish that man and his house.
[35] Thus shall you say everyone to his neighbor, and every one to his brother, What have Yehovah answered? And, What have Yehovah spoken?
[36] And the burden of Yehovah shall you mention no more: for every man's word shall be his burden; for you have perverted the words of the living God, of Yehovah of hosts our God.
[37] Thus shall you say to the prophet, what have Yehovah answered thee? and, What have Yehovah spoken?
[38] But since you say, The burden of Yehovah; therefore thus says Yehovah; Because you say this word, The burden of Yehovah, and I have sent unto you, saying, You shall not say, The burden of Yehovah;
[39] Therefore, behold, I, even I, will utterly forget you, and I will forsake you, and the city that I gave you and your fathers, and cast you out of my presence:
[40] And I will bring an everlasting reproach upon you, and a perpetual shame, which shall not be forgotten.

Jer.25

[34] Howl, you shepherds, and cry; and wallow yourselves in the ashes, you principal of the flock: for the days of your slaughter and of your dispersions are accomplished; and you shall fall like a pleasant vessel.[35] And the shepherds shall have no way to flee, nor the principal of the flock to escape.[36] A voice of the cry of the shepherds, and an howling of the principal of the flock, shall be heard: for Yehovah have spoiled their pasture.[37] And the peaceable habitations are cut down because of the fierce anger of Yehovah.[38] He have forsaken his covert, as the lion: for their land is desolate because of the fierceness of the oppressor, and because of his fierce anger.

Jer.50

[6] My people have been lost sheep: their shepherds have caused them to go astray, they have turned them away on the mountains: they have gone from mountain to hill, they have forgotten their resting place.

Again, some people in the Bible that just did not like the Jews:

Exod.1

[15] And the king of Egypt spoke to the Hebrew midwives, of which the name of the one was Shiphrah, and the name of the other Puah:[16] And he said, When you do the office of a midwife to the Hebrew women, and see them upon the stools; if it be a son, then you shall kill him: but if it be a daughter, then she shall live.

some people in the Bible that no not like the Jews:

Acts.7

[55] Stephen, being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up steadfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God,
[56] And said, Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God.
[57] Then they cried out with a loud voice, and stopped their ears, and ran upon him with one accord,[
58] And cast him out of the city, and stoned him: and the witnesses laid down their clothes at a young man's feet, whose name was Saul.
[59] And they stoned Stephen, calling upon God, and saying, Lord Yeshua, receive my spirit.
[60] And he kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice, Lord; lay not this sin to their charge. And when he had said this, he fell asleep.

Jer.38

[6] Then took they Jeremiah, and cast him into the dungeon of Malchiah the son of Hammelech, that was in the court of the prison: and they let down Jeremiah with cords. And in the dungeon there was no water, but mire: so Jeremiah sunk in the mire.

2Kgs.16

[6] At that time Rezin king of Syria recovered Elath to Syria, and drave the Jews from Elath

Isa.36

[1] Now it came to pass in the fourteenth year of king Hezekiah, that Sennacherib king of Assyria came up against all the defenced cities of Judah, and took them.

Neh.4

[1] But it came to pass, that when Sanballat heard that we builded the wall, he was wroth, and took great indignation, and mocked the Jews. [2] And he spake before his brethren and the army of Samaria, and said, What do these feeble Jews?

Dan.3

[8]…at that time certain Chaldeans came near, and accused the Jews.

Jer.41

[1] Now it came to pass in the seventh month, that Ishmael the son of Nethaniah the son of Elishama, of the seed royal, and the princes of the king, even ten men with him, came unto Gedaliah the son of Ahikam to Mizpah; and there they did eat bread together in Mizpah.
[2] Then arose Ishmael the son of Nethaniah, and the ten men that were with him, and smote Gedaliah the son of Ahikam the son of Shaphan with the sword, and slew him, whom the king of Babylon had made governor over the land.
[3]
Ishmael also slew all the Jews that were with him, even with Gedaliah, at Mizpah, and the Chaldeans that were found there, and the men of war.

Zech.11

[1] Open thy doors, O Lebanon, that the fire may devour thy cedars.
[2] Howl, fir tree; for the cedar is fallen; because the mighty are spoiled: howl, O you oaks of Bashan; for the forest of the vintage is come down.
[3]
There is a voice of the howling of the shepherds; for their glory is spoiled: a voice of the roaring of young lions; for the pride of Jordan is spoiled.

[4] Thus says Yehovah my God; Feed the flock of the slaughter;
[5] Whose possessors slay them, and hold themselves not guilty: and they that sell them say, Blessed be Yehovah; for I am rich: and their own shepherds pity them not.
[6] For I will no more pity the inhabitants of the land, says Yehovah: but, lo, I will deliver the men every one into his neighbor’s hand, and into the hand of his king: and they shall smite the land, and out of their hand I will not deliver them.
[7] And I will feed the flock of slaughter, even you, O poor of the flock. And I took unto me two staves; the one I called Beauty, and the other I called Bands; and I fed the flock.
[8] Three shepherds also I cut off in one month; and my soul loths them, and their soul also abhorred me.
[9] Then said I, I will not feed you: that that dies, let it die; and that that is to be cut off, let it be cut off; and let the rest eat every one the flesh of another.
[10] And I took my staff, even Beauty, and cut it asunder, that I might break my covenant which I had made with all the people.
[11] And it was broken in that day: and so the poor of the flock that waited upon me knew that it was the word of Yehovah.
[12] And I said unto them, If you think good, give me my price; and if not, forbear. So they weighed for my price thirty pieces of silver.

Messiah
[13] And Yehovah said unto me, Cast it unto the potter: a goodly price that I was priced at of them. And I took the thirty pieces of silver, and cast them to the potter in the house of Yehovah.

[14] Then I cut asunder mine other staff, even Bands, that I might break the brotherhood between Judah and Israel.
[15] And Yehovah said unto me, Take unto thee yet the instruments of a foolish shepherd.
[16] For, lo, I will raise up a shepherd in the land, which shall not visit those that be cut off, neither shall seek the young one, nor heal that that is broken, nor feed that that stands still: but he shall eat the flesh of the fat, and tear their claws in pieces.
[17]
Woe to the idol shepherd that leaves the flock! the sword shall be upon his arm, and upon his right eye: his arm shall be clean dried up, and his right eye shall be utterly darkened.

Esth.3

1Kgs.22

[13] And the messenger that was gone to call Micaiah spoke unto him, saying, Behold now, the words of the prophets declare good unto the king with one mouth: let thy word, I pray thee, be like the word of one of them, and speak that which is good.
[14] And Micaiah said, As Yehovah liveth, what Yehovah says unto me, that will I speak.

[15] So he came to the king. And the king said unto him, Micaiah, shall we go against Ramoth-gilead to battle, or shall we forbear? And he answered him, Go, and prosper: for Yehovah shall deliver it into the hand of the king.
[
16] And the king said unto him, How many times shall I adjure thee that you tell me nothing but that which is true in the name of Yehovah?

[17] And he said, I saw all Israel scattered upon the hills, as sheep that have not a shepherd: and Yehovah said, These have no master: let them return every man to his house in peace.

[18] And the king of Israel said unto Jehoshaphat, Did I not tell thee that he would prophesy no good concerning me, but evil?
[
19] And he said, Hear you therefore the word of Yehovah: I saw Yehovah sitting on his throne, and all the host of heaven standing by him on his right hand and on his left.
[
20] And Yehovah said,

[19] And he said, Hear you therefore the word of Yehovah: I saw Yehovah sitting on his throne, and all the host of heaven standing by him on his right hand and on his left.
[
20] And Yehovah said, Who shall persuade Ahab, that he may go up and fall at Ramoth-gilead? And one said on this manner, and another said on that manner.
[
21] And there came forth a spirit, and stood before Yehovah, and said, I will persuade him.
[
22] And Yehovah said unto him, Wherewith? And he said, I will go forth, and I will be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets. And he said, Thou shall persuade him, and prevail also: go forth, and do so.
[
23] Now therefore, behold, Yehovah have put a lying spirit in the mouth of all these thy prophets, and Yehovah have spoken evil concerning thee.
[
24] But Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah went near, and smote Micaiah on the cheek, and said, Which way went the Spirit of Yehovah from me to speak unto thee?
[
25] And Micaiah said, Behold, you shall see in that day, when you shall go into an inner chamber to hide thyself.
[
26] And the king of Israel said, Take Micaiah, and carry him back unto Amon the governor of the city, and to Joash the king's son;
[
27] And say, Thus says the king, Put this fellow in the prison, and feed him with bread of affliction and with water of affliction, until I come in peace.
[
28] And Micaiah said, If you return at all in peace, Yehovah have not spoken by me. And he said, Hearken, O people, every one of you.

Matt.14

[1] At that time Herod the tetrarch heard of the fame of Yeshua,
[2] And said unto his servants, This is John the Baptist; he is risen from the dead; and therefore mighty works do shew forth themselves in him.
[3] For Herod had laid hold on John, and bound him, and put him in prison for Herodias' sake, his brother Philip's wife.
[4] For John said unto him, It is not lawful for thee to have her.
[5] And when he would have put him to death, he feared the multitude, because they counted him as a prophet.
[6] But when Herod's birthday was kept, the daughter of Herodias danced before them, and pleased Herod.
[7] Whereupon he promised with an oath to give her whatsoever she would ask.
[8] And she, being before instructed of her mother, said, Give me here John Baptist's head in a charger.
[9] And the king was sorry: nevertheless for the oath's sake, and them which sat with him at meat, he commanded it to be given her.
[10] And
he sent, and beheaded John in the prison.
[11] And his head was brought in a charger, and given to the damsel: and she brought it to her mother.

Acts.12

[1] Now about that time Herod the king stretched forth his hands to vex certain of the church.
[
2] And he killed James the brother of John with the sword.
[3] And because he saw it pleased the Jews, he proceeded further to take Peter also. (Then were the days of unleavened bread.)

Matt.2

[16] Then Herod, when he saw that he was mocked of the wise men, was exceeding wroth, and sent forth, and slew all the children that were in Bethlehem, and in all the coasts thereof, from two years old and under, according to the time which he had diligently inquired of the wise men.

Luke.23

[3]… Pilate asked Yeshua, saying, Art you the King of the Jews? And he answered him and said, You say it.

[37] And saying, If you be the king of the Jews, save yourself[38] And a superscription also was written over him in letters of Greek, and Latin, and Hebrew, THIS IS THE KING OF THE JEWS.

[44] And it was about the sixth hour, and there was a darkness over all the earth until the ninth hour.
[45] And the sun was darkened, and the veil of the temple was rent in the midst.
[46] And when Yeshua had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said thus, He gave up the ghost.

All through time:

Rev.12

[17] And the dragon - Satan was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Yeshua the Messiah.

However, today is Purim, a good day!

Est. 8

[17] And in every province, and in every city, whithersoever the king's commandment and his decree came, the Jews had joy and gladness, a feast and a good day. And many of the people of the land became Jews; for the fear of the Jews fell upon them.

Esth.9

[19] Therefore the Jews of the villages, that dwelt in the unwalled towns, made the fourteenth day of the month Adar a day of gladness and feasting, and a good day, and of sending portions one to another. [20] And Mordecai wrote these things, and sent letters unto all the Jews that were in all the provinces of the king Ahasuerus, both nigh and far,[21] To establish this among them, that they should keep the fourteenth day of the month Adar, and the fifteenth day of the same, yearly,

[22] As the days wherein the Jews rested from their enemies, and the month which was turned unto them from sorrow to joy, and from mourning into a good day: that they should make them days of feasting and joy, and of sending portions one to another, and gifts to the poor.

1Pet.2

[21] For even hereunto were you called: because Messiah also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that you should follow his steps:
[
22] Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth:
[
23] Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously:
[
24] Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes you were healed.

[25] For you were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls.

1Pet.5

[1] The elders which are among you I exhort, who am also an elder, and a witness of the sufferings of Messiah, and also a partaker of the glory that shall be revealed:[2] Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind;[3] Neither as being lords over God's heritage, but being ensamples to the flock.[4] And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, you shall receive a crown of glory that fades not away.

In closing for now:

Happy Purim, be joyful!

We have been chosen!

John.15[16] You have not chosen Me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in My name,Yeshua  - He, the Father may give it you

Heb.13

[20] Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Yeshua, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant,

[21] Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is well pleasing in his sight, through Yeshua the Messiah; to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.
