שַׁבָּת
שָׁלוֹם
Today is May 16, 2020 – in the 21 century
May - Maia's month
Old French Mai
Old English Maius
Latin Maius "of
Maia"
Latin Maius mensis "month
of Maia"
Maius has
always had 31 days.
Maia (meaning "the great one") is the Italic goddess
of spring, the daughter of Faunus, and wife of Vulcan.
We acknowledge Yehovah’s calendar:
We are now in the 2nd month called Ziv –
day 22
1Kgs.6[1] And it came to pass in the four hundred and eightieth year
after the children of Israel were come out of the land of Egypt, in the fourth
year of Solomon's reign over Israel, in the month Zif, which
is the second month, that he began to build the house of Yehovah.
The 2nd month is not Iyyar (made
– up, a lie) as Judaism states; it is Ziv as
scriptures states.
It is now the 5th Sabbath of
the 7 Sabbaths we were told to count.
We are on our way to the Feast of Weeks. How are
you doing?
Today’s Topic:
Our testimony, the record of our short lives
What have you done so far in your life?
Some testimonies are good, some bad.
All the testimonies from
scripture are for our admonition.
Saul tells us:
1Cor.10 [11] now all these things happened unto them for
ensamples: and they are written for our admonition upon whom
the ends of the world are come.
[12] Wherefore let him
that thinks he stands take heed lest he fall.
[13] There hath no
temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who
will not suffer you to be tempted above that you are able; but will with the
temptation also make a way to escape, that you may be able to bear it.
Admonition = νουθεσία nouthesia {noo-thes-ee'-ah} Meaning: exhortation
Testimony - Something evidential, proof, open
declaration or profession (generally) evidence given - to be
testified, witness or record.
עֵדוּת
‛êdûth - ay-dooth' - Feminine noun
- testimony:, witness.
עֵד
‛êd – ayd testimony; a recorder, witness.
עוּד
‛ûd – ood - A primitive root;
to duplicate or repeat; by implication
to protest, testify (as by reiteration); restore (as a
sort of reduplication): - to record, give warning, witness
Matt. 5 [14] You are
the light of the world. A city
that is set on a hill cannot be hid, neither do men light a
candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it gives light unto all that are in the house.
Let your light so shine before men, that
they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
Luke. 8 [16]
No man, when he hath lighted
a candle, covers it with a
vessel, or puts it under a bed; but sets it on a candlestick, that they which enter in may see the light.
Luke 11 [33] No man, when he hath lighted a candle, puts it in a secret place, neither under a bushel, but on a candlestick, that they which come in may see the light.
The light of
the body is the eye: therefore when your eye is single, thy whole body also
is full of light; but
when your eye is
evil, thy body also is full of darkness.
Take heed therefore that the light which is in thee be not darkness. If thy whole body therefore be full of light, having no part dark, the
whole shall be full of light,
as when the bright shining of a candle doth give you light.
How is your testimony?
2 Thes. 1 [10] When Yeshua shall come to be glorified in his saints,
and to be admired in all them that believe, because our testimony among you was believed in that day
2 Tim. 1 [8] Be not thou therefore
ashamed of the testimony of
our Lord Yeshua, nor of me his prisoner: but be thou partaker of the afflictions
of the gospel according to the power of God; [9] Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not
according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was
given us in Messiah Yeshua before the world began,
[10] But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Savior Yeshua the Messiah, who hath abolished death, and hath
brought life and immortality to light through the gospel:[11] Whereunto I am appointed a preacher, and an apostle, and a
teacher of the Gentiles.
Heb. 3[5] And Moses verily was faithful in all his house, as a
servant, for a testimony of those things which were to be spoken after; [6] But Messiah as a son over his own house; whose house are
we, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the
end.
Heb. 11[5] By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see
death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his
translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.
[6] But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he
that comes to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder
of them that diligently seek Him.
Rev. 6[9] …and when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the
altar the souls of them that were
slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held…
Rev. 11 - the 2 Witnesses
[7] And when they
shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascends out of the bottomless pit shall make war
against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.
Rev. 12[11] …and they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.
We don’t want to do any evil deeds or give great occasion to the enemies of the Yehovah to blaspheme…
occasion - ἀφορμή aphorme {af-or-may'} Meaning: 1) a place from which a movement or
attack is made, a base of operations 2) metaph. by which an endeavor is excited
and from which it goes forth 2a) that which gives occasion and supplies matter
for an undertaking, the incentive 2b) the resources we avail ourselves of in
attempting or performing anything
נָאַץ nâ'ats, naw-ats'- A primitive root; to scorn; abhor, (give
occasion to) blaspheme, contemn, despise, flourish, provoke.
Σκανδαλον skandalon skan'-dal-on - A scandal; a snare (figuratively cause of
displeasure or sin): - occasion to fall (of stumbling), offence, thing that offends,
stumbling-block.
We don’t want to give any
offense to the house of God
Rom.14 [13] let us not therefore judge one another anymore: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumbling block or an occasion to fall in his brother's way.
Saul tells the Corinthians and we can use:
1Cor.9 [19] for though I be free from all men, yet have I
made myself servant unto all, that I might gain the more
[20] And unto the Jews I became as a Jew, that I might gain the Jews; to them
that are under the law, as under the law, that I might gain them that are under
the law;
[21] To them that are without law, as without law, (being not
without law to God, but under the law to Messiah,) that I might gain them that
are without law.
[22] To the weak became I as weak, that I might gain the weak: I
am made all things to all men that I might by all means save some. [23] And
this I do for the gospel's sake…
1Cor.10 [32] Give
none offence, neither to the Jews, nor to the Gentiles, nor to the church of
God: [33] even as I please all men in all things, not seeking mine own
profit, but the profit of many, that they may be saved.
Our testimony lives on after
we die and is told many years after, possibly many times - consider these
verses below which are many years apart:
Num. 3 [2] And these are the names of the sons of Aaron; Nadab the
firstborn, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.
[4] And Nadab and Abihu died
before Yehovah,
when they offered strange fire
before Yehovah, in the wilderness of Sinai, and they had no children: and Eleazar and Ithamar ministered in the priest's office in the
sight of Aaron their father.
Num. 26 [60] And unto Aaron was born Nadab, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar. [61] And Nadab and Abihu died, when they offered strange fire before Yehovah.
1Chr. 24 [1] Now these are
the divisions of the sons of Aaron. The sons of Aaron; Nadab, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.
[2] But Nadab and Abihu died before their father, and had no
children: therefore Elezar and Ithamar executed the priest's office.
Other rebels in the camp (also
among the leaders)
Korah, Dathan and Abiram, and On - took
men: two hundred and fifty princes of the assembly, famous in the
congregation, men of renown.
Let’s read:
Num. 16
[1] Now Korah, the son
of Izhar, the son of Kohath, the son of Levi, and Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab, and On, the son of Peleth, sons of Reuben, took men:
[2] And they rose up before Moses, with certain
of the children of Israel, two hundred and fifty princes of the assembly, famous in the congregation, men of renown:
[3] And they gathered themselves together against
Moses and against Aaron, and
said unto them, you take too much upon you, seeing all the congregation are
holy, every one of them, and Yehovah is among them: wherefore then lift you up
yourselves above the congregation of Yehovah?
[4] And when Moses heard
it, he fell upon his face:
[5] And he spoke unto Korah and unto all his company, saying, even tomorrow Yehovah will show who are his, and who is holy; and will cause him to come
near unto him: even him whom he hath chosen will he cause to come near unto
him.
[6] This do; Take you
censers, Korah, and all his company;
[7] And put fire therein, and put incense in them before Yehovah to morrow: and it shall be that the man whom Yehovah doth choose, he shall be holy: you take too much upon you, you
sons of Levi.
[8] And Moses said unto Korah, Hear, I pray you, you sons of Levi:
[9] It seems but a small thing unto
you, that the God of Israel hath separated you from the congregation of Israel,
to bring you near to himself to do the service of the tabernacle of Yehovah, and to stand before the congregation to minister unto them?
[10] And he hath brought thee near to him, and all thy brethren the sons of Levi with
thee: and seek you the priesthood also?
[11] For which cause both thou and all thy company are gathered together against Yehovah: and what is Aaron, that you murmur against him?
[12] And Moses sent to
call Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab: which said, we will not come up:
[13] Is it a small thing
that thou hast brought us up out of a land that flows with milk and honey, to kill us in the
wilderness, except thou make thyself altogether a prince over us?
[14] Moreover thou hast not brought us into a land that flows with milk and honey, or given us
inheritance of fields and vineyards: wilt thou put out the eyes of these
men? We will not come up.
[15] And Moses was very wroth, and said unto Yehovah, Respect not thou their offering: I have not taken one ass from
them, neither have I hurt one of them.
[16] And Moses said unto Korah, Be thou and all thy company before Yehovah, thou, and they, and Aaron, tomorrow:
[17] And take every man his censer, and put incense in them, and bring you
before Yehovah every man his censer, two hundred and
fifty censers; thou also, and Aaron, each of you his censer.
[18] And they took every man his censer, and put fire in them, and laid incense
thereon, and stood in the door of the tabernacle of the congregation with Moses
and Aaron.
[19] And Korah gathered all the congregation against them unto the door of the tabernacle of the
congregation: and the glory of Yehovah appeared unto all the congregation.
[20] And Yehovah spoke unto Moses and unto
Aaron, saying,
[21] Separate yourselves from among this congregation, that I may consume them in a moment.
[22] And they fell upon
their faces, and said, O God, the God of the spirits of all flesh, shall
one man sin, and wilt thou be wroth with all the congregation?
[23] And Yehovah spoke unto Moses, saying,
[24] Speak unto the congregation, saying, Get you up from about the tabernacle
of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram.
[25] And Moses rose up and
went unto Dathan and Abiram; and the elders of Israel followed him.
[26] And he spoke unto the
congregation, saying, Depart, I pray you, from the tents of these wicked men,
and touch nothing of theirs, lest you be consumed in all their sins.
[27] So they got up from the tabernacle of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram, on every side: and Dathan and Abiram came out, and stood in the door of their
tents, and their wives, and their sons, and their little children.
[28] And Moses said, Hereby you shall know that Yehovah hath sent me to do all these works;
for I have not done them of mine
own mind.
[29] If these men die the
common death of all men, or if they be visited after the visitation of all men;
then Yehovah hath not sent me.
[30] But if Yehovah make a new thing and the earth open her mouth, and swallow them up,
with all that appertain unto them, and they go down quick into the pit; then you shall understand that these men
have provoked Yehovah.
[31] And it came to pass,
as he had made an end of speaking all these words, that the ground clave
asunder that was under them:
[32] And the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed them up, and their
houses, and all the men that appertained unto Korah, and all their goods.
[33] They, and all that appertained to them, went down alive into the pit, and
the earth closed upon them: and they perished from among the congregation.
[34] And all Israel that
were round about them fled at the cry of them: for they said, lest the earth swallow us up also.
[35] And there came out a
fire from Yehovah, and consumed the two hundred and fifty men that
offered incense.
[36] And Yehovah spoke unto Moses, saying,
[37] Speak unto Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest, that he take
up the censers out of the burning, and scatter thou the fire yonder; for they
are hallowed.
[38] The censers of these sinners against their own souls, let them
make them broad plates for a covering of the altar: for they offered them
before Yehovah, therefore they are hallowed: and they shall be
a sign unto the children of Israel.
[39] And Eleazar the priest took the brazen censers, wherewith they that were burnt
had offered; and they were made broad plates for a covering of the altar:
[40] To be a memorial unto
the children of Israel, that no stranger, which is not of the seed of Aaron,
come near to offer incense before Yehovah; that he be not as Korah, and as
his company: as Yehovah said to him by the hand of Moses.
[41] But on the morrow all the congregation of the
children of Israel murmured against Moses and against Aaron, saying, you have killed the people of Yehovah.
[42] And it came to pass, when
the congregation was gathered against Moses and against Aaron that they looked toward the tabernacle of the
congregation: and, behold, the cloud covered it, and the glory of Yehovah appeared.
[43] And Moses and Aaron
came before the tabernacle of the congregation.
[44] And Yehovah spoke unto Moses, saying,
[45] Get you up from among
this congregation, that I may consume them as in a moment.
And they fell upon their
faces.
[46] And Moses said unto
Aaron, take a censer and put fire therein from off the altar, and
put on incense, and go quickly unto the congregation, and make an
atonement for them: for there is wrath gone out from Yehovah; the plague is begun.
[47] And Aaron took as Moses commanded, and ran into the midst of the
congregation; and, behold, the plague was begun among the people: and he put on incense, and made an atonement for
the people.
[48] And he stood between the dead and the living; and the plague was stayed.
[49] Now they that died in the plague were fourteen thousand and seven hundred, beside
them that died about the matter of Korah.
[50] And Aaron returned unto Moses unto the door of the tabernacle of the
congregation: and the plague
was stayed.
Our testimony lives on after
we die and is told many years after the fact, possibly many times – consider
these verses many years after the fact:
Num. 26 [9] And the sons of Eliab; Nemuel, and Dathan, and Abiram. This is that Dathan and Abiram, which were famous in the congregation, who strove against Moses and against Aaron in the company of Korah, when they strove
against Yehovah:
[10] And the earth opened
her mouth, and swallowed them up together with Korah, when that company died, what time the fire devoured two
hundred and fifty men: and they became a sign.
[11] Notwithstanding the
children of Korah died not.
Deut. 11 [6] And what he did unto Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab, the son of Reuben: how the earth opened her
mouth, and swallowed them up, and their households, and their tents, and all
the substance that was in their possession, in the midst of all Israel:
Psa. 106 [17] The earth opened and swallowed up Dathan, and covered the company of Abiram.
Jude 1 [11] Woe unto them! for they
have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for
reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core. (Korah)
Our testimonies live on
after we die and are told, here are some, just to name a few:
The angels that sinned
Cain
Time of Noah, the flood
Sodom and Gomorrah
Time of Lot
Balaam the son of Bosor
The testimony of evil,
fallen angels
Rev. 12 [7] And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels
fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,
[8] And prevailed
not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.
[9] And the great dragon was cast out, that old
serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceives the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his
angels were cast out with him.
Peter, in his letter, brings
to remembrance all these testimonies from the past
2 Pet. 2
[1] But there were false prophets also among
the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even
denying Yehovah that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift
destruction.
[2] And many shall
follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.
[3] And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make
merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingers not, and their damnation slumbers not.
[4] For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them
into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;
[5] And spared not
the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing
in the flood upon the world of the ungodly;
[6] And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making
them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly;
[7] And delivered
just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked:
[8] (For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing,
vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds;)
[9] Yehovah knoweth how to deliver the godly out of
temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the Day of Judgment to be punished:
[10] But chiefly
them that walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise
government. Presumptuous are they, self-willed, they are not afraid to speak evil of dignities
[11] Whereas angels,
which. are greater in power and
might, bring not railing accusation against them before Yehovah.
[12] But these, as natural brute beasts, made to be taken and destroyed,
speak evil of the things that they understand not; and shall utterly perish in
their own corruption;
[13] And shall receive the reward of unrighteousness, as they that count
it pleasure to riot in the day time. Spots they are and blemishes, sporting
themselves with their own deceivings while they feast with you;
[14] Having eyes full of adultery, and that cannot cease from sin;
beguiling unstable souls: an heart they have exercised with covetous practices;
cursed children:
[15] Which have
forsaken the right way, and are gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Bosor, who
loved the wages of unrighteousness;
[16] But was rebuked for his iniquity: the dumb ass speaking with man's
voice forbad the madness of the prophet.
[17] These are wells
without water, clouds that are carried with a tempest; to whom the mist of darkness is reserved for ever.
[18] For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure
through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean
escaped from them who live in error.
[19] While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants
of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in
bondage.
[20] For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through
the knowledge of Lord
and Savior Yeshua the Messiah, they are again entangled therein, and
overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.
[21] For it had been better for them not to have known the way of
righteousness, than after they have known it,
to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.
[22]
But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, the dog
is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing
in the mire.
Jude brings to remembrance
all these testimonies from the past
Jude
[1] Jude, the
servant of Yeshua the Messiah, and brother of James, to them that are
sanctified by God the Father, and preserved in Yeshua the Messiah and called:
[2] Mercy unto you, and peace, and love, be multiplied.
[3] Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common
salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that you
should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the
saints.
[4] For there are certain men crept
in unawares, who were before of old
ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into
lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord Yehovah,
and our Lord Yeshua the Messiah.
[5] I will therefore
put you in remembrance, though you once knew this, how that Yehovah, having
saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not.
[6] And the angels who kept not their first estate, but left
their own habitation, he
hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the
great day.
[7] Even as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities about them in like manner,
giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set
forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.
[8] Likewise also
these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and
speak evil of dignities.
[9] Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he
disputed about the body of Moses, dare not bring against him a railing
accusation, but said, Yehovah rebuke thee.
[10] But these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what
they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves.
[11] Woe unto
them! For they have gone in the
way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for
reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core. (Korah)
[12] These are spots
in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without
fear: clouds they are without water, carried about of winds; trees whose
fruit withereth, without
fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots;
[13] Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering
stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever.
[14] And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied
of these, saying, Behold, Yehovah cometh with ten thousands of his saints,
[15] To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly
among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of
all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.
[16] These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their
mouth speaks great swelling words,
having men's persons in admiration because of advantage.
[17] But, beloved, remember you the words which were spoken before of
the apostles of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah;
[18] How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time,
who should walk after their own ungodly lusts.
[19] These are they who separate
themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit.
[20] But you, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith,
praying in the Holy Ghost,[21] Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for
the mercy of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah unto
eternal life.
[22] And of some
have compassion, making a difference:
[23] And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating
even the garment spotted by the flesh.
[24] Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present
you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,
[25] To the only wise God our Savior, (the Word made flesh - Yeshua the Messiah) be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever.
Amen.
Other rebels in the camp found out
Other writers, in their
letters, also brings to remembrance testimonies from the past, consider these
verses below:
Ananias, with Sapphira
Acts.5
[1] But a certain
man named Ananias, with Sapphira his wife, sold a possession,
[2] And kept back part of the price, his wife also being privy to it,
and brought a certain part, and laid it at the apostles' feet.
[3] But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the
land?
[4] Whiles it remained, was it not your own? And after it was sold, was it not in your own power? Why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? You have not lied unto men, but unto God.
[5] And Ananias hearing these words fell down, and gave up the ghost: and great fear came on all them that heard
these things.
[6] And the young men arose, wound him up, and carried him out, and
buried him.
[7] And it was about
the space of three hours after, when his wife, not knowing what was done, came
in.
[8] And Peter answered unto her, Tell me whether you sold the land for
so much? And she said, Yea, for so much.
[9] Then Peter said unto her, How is it that you have agreed together to tempt the Spirit of
the Lord? behold, the feet of them which have buried thy husband
are at the door, and shall carry thee out.
[10] Then fell she down straightway
at his feet, and yielded up the ghost: and the young men came in, and found
her dead, and, carrying her
forth, buried her by her husband.[11] And great fear came upon all the
church, and upon as many as heard these things.
****What more can I say about “Judas”, he betrayed Yeshua, his testimony will live on, he was the ultimate traitor.
Luke.22 [48] But Yeshua said unto him, Judas, betrayest thou the Son of man with a kiss? – watch out for false kisses…
These are just a few of the
rebels that thought they were hiding in the camp and forgot about their
testimonies. – Their testimonies also lived on in time.
They forgot God sees all.
God waits and sees if they will repent, if not, it seems like God lets sin
ripen, then He executes judgment.
Even Solomon’s evil deeds
lived on:
1Kgs.11
[1] But king Solomon
loved many strange women, together with the daughter of Pharaoh, women of
the Moabites, Ammonites, Edomites, Zidonians, and Hittites;
[2] Of the nations
concerning which Yehovah said unto the children of Israel, you
shall not go in to them, neither shall they come in unto you: for surely they
will turn away your heart after their gods: Solomon clave unto these in love.
[3] And he had seven
hundred wives, princesses, and three hundred concubines: and his wives turned away his heart.
[4] For it came to
pass, when Solomon was old, that
his wives turned away his heart after other gods: and his heart was not perfect with Yehovah his God, as was the heart of David his father.
[5] For Solomon went after Ashtoreth the
goddess of the Zidonians, and after Milcom the abomination of the Ammonites.[6] And Solomon did evil in the sight of Yehovah, and went not fully after Yehovah, as did David his father.
[7]
Then did Solomon build an high place for Chemosh, the abomination of Moab, in the hill that is before Jerusalem,
and for Molech, the abomination of the children of Ammon.
[8] And likewise
did he for all his strange wives, which burnt incense and
sacrificed unto their gods.
Years later told again:
Neh.13 [26] Did not Solomon king of Israel sin by these things?
yet among many nations was there no king like
him, who was beloved of his God, and God made him king over all Israel: nevertheless even him did outlandish women
cause to sin.
Your testimony
I hear some people
say, I don’t care what people
think of me.
These are not the words of a
true believer in the God of Israel
Our testimonies will live on
after we are dead and are very important.
Your testimony as the "Temple of
the Living God" and the "Light of the World"
1Cor.3 [16] Don’t you not that you are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?[17] If any man defile the temple
of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple you are.
1Cor.6 [18] Flee
fornication, every sin that a man doeth is without the
body; but he that commits fornication sins against his own body.
[19] What? Don’t you not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in
you, which you have of God, and you are not your own?
[20] For you are bought
with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are

Don’t separate yourself from the flock, the wolf is out there
Acts.20 [28] Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and
to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to

It is good to always examine

1 Thes. 5 [21] Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.
In closing for today,
Think of our bible today as:
The testimony of the
creation of all things
The testimony many lives lived, some good and some bad to
consider
The testimony of judgment if you sin
The testimony of the blessings if you keep God’s commandments
Remember:
Phil. 2 [14] Do all things without murmuring and disputing:
[15] That you may be
blameless and harmless, the sons and daughters of God, without rebuke, in the midst
of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom you are suppose too shine as lights in the world…
To the people without and to the people with the God of Israel – your testimony!
PS. Don’t forget doubting
