Time to
squelch another misinterpretation and misunderstanding of a verse
Paul's letters explained:
1 Cor. 14 [34] Let your women keep silence in the
churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to
be under obedience, as also saith the law.
[35] And if they
(the wives) will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at
home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.
1 Tim. 2 [12] But I
suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority
over the man, but to be in silence.
As also saith the Law - Torah
Gen.3 [16] Unto the
woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow
thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall
be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.
--------
Simply put, wives are subject to
their husbands in the Lord
It is not saying woman can never speak, especially if
they are asked by the Minister to speak, then she is not usurping authority
over the man.
---------------
Here are just a few examples of woman commissioned to speak:

Elisabeth's son was John The Baptist
Luke.1 [5] There was in the days of
Herod, the king of Judaea, a certain priest named Zacharias, of the course of Abia: and his wife was of the daughters of Aaron, and her
name was Elisabeth.
[7]
And they had no child, because that Elisabeth was barren, and they both
were now well stricken in years.
[13]
But the angel said unto him, Fear not, Zacharias: for thy prayer is heard; and
thy wife Elisabeth shall bear thee a son, and thou shalt
call his name John.
[24]
And after those days his wife Elisabeth conceived, and hid herself five
months, saying,
[36]
And, behold, thy cousin Elisabeth, she hath also conceived a son in her old
age: and this is the sixth month with her, who was called barren.
[40]
And entered into the house of Zacharias, and saluted Elisabeth.
[41]
And it came to pass, that, when Elisabeth heard the salutation of Mary,
the babe leaped in her womb; and Elisabeth was filled with the Holy Ghost:
[57]
Now Elisabeth's full time came that she should be delivered; and she brought
forth a son.

And Paul after this tarried there yet a good while, and then took his leave of
the brethren, and sailed thence into Syria, and with him Priscilla and
Aquila; having shorn his head in Cenchrea: for he had
a vow.
[26]
And he began to speak boldly in the synagogue: whom when Aquila and
Priscilla had heard, they took him unto them, and expounded unto him the
way of God more perfectly.
