Yeshua has to be the Messiah
-
I will prove by the scriptures that :
1. When Messiah had to come.
2. The Temple had to be standing.
3. New Covenant Jer. 31:31
4. Messiah is the messenger of the covenant
5. Scripture proves scripture (Tanak &

7. Elijah the prophet came - Mal. 3:1, 4:5
9. Yeshua foretold of the destruction of
Jerusalem and the Temple ________________________________________________________
New Covenant Jer. 31:31
The word covenant is a
feminine, singular noun.
Therefore we have to use a feminine singular adjective.
the word for new moon is
1Sam.20 [
5] And David said unto Jonathan,
Behold, to morrow is the new moon
, and I should not fail to sit with the king at meat: but let
me go, that I may hide myself in the field unto the third day at even.
[18] Then Jonathan
said to David, To morrow is the new moon
: and thou shalt be missed, because thy seat will be empty.
[24] So David
hid himself in the field: and when the new moon
was come, the king sat him down to eat meat.

Here it is in a nutshell:
Haggai 2:7 And
I will shake all nations, and the desire of all nations
shall come: and I will fill
this house with glory, saith the LORD of hosts.
Malachi confirms the prediction in Haggai Chap. 2 verses
7- 9
Malachi Chap. 3 verse 1 The Lord, whom ye seek, shall
suddenly come to His temple.
This prediction in Malachi, as well as the one in Haggai,
could not be fulfilled after the destruction of the temple in 70 A.D. So, if
the Messiah came at all, He had to come before the second temple was destroyed.
Zechariah Chap. 11 verse 13 also demands that the Messiah
come before the destruction of the Jewish temple, for that prediction speaks
of the thirty pieces of silver being cast to the potter in the House
of the Lord [the temple] (Zechariah Chap. 11 verse 13).
In Psalm 118 verse 26 the prophetic pen informs us that
the people who should welcome the Messiah would say not only Blessed be
He that cometh in the name of the Lord, but also We have blessed you
out of the House of the Lord (Psalm Chap. 118 verse 26). That is, from the
House of the Lord ( the Temple ) the people will bless Him when He comes.
This was beautifully fulfilled in the life of Yeshua. When He approached Jerusalem
for His triumphal entry, the people said, Blessed is He that cometh in the
name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest (Matthew Chap. 21 verse 9).
Then we read that Yeshua healed many that were blind and
lame in the temple (Matthew Chap. 21 verse 14). Matthew Chap. 21 verse 15
tells us that the children cried in the temple, saying, Hosanna to the Son
of David. Surely, out of the mouth of babes and sucklings Thou hast perfected
praise (Psalm 8 verse 2; Matthew Chap. 21 verse 16). Thus God used children
to fulfill His prediction given in Psalm 118 verse 26 that the Messiah should
be blessed in the House of the Lord!
There are at least five Scriptural predictions of the coming
of the Messiah that demand that He come while the temple at Jerusalem was still
standing.
This is a fact of great significance, since the temple has
NOT been rebuilt since its destruction in 70 A.D.
These five Scriptures are: Haggai Chap. 2 verses 7-9; Malachi
Chap. 3 verse 1; Zechariah Chap. 11 verse 13; Daniel Chap. 9 verse 26; and
Psalm 118 verse 26.
Therefore, the public entry of Yeshua into Jerusalem and
into the temple as recorded were all prearranged and predicted and are part
of the perfect plan that foretold the Messiah and His activities when He
should come, and then perfectly fulfilled the blueprint in the movements of
Yeshua when He came. (See Matthew Chap. 21 verses 1-16; Mark Chap.11 verses
1-10; Luke Chap. 19 verses 29-40.) And Yeshua went into the temple of God
and
the blind and the lame came to Him in the temple; and He healed them
and
the children crying in the temple, and saying, Hosanna to the Son of David
(Matthew Chap. 21 verses 12-15).
Two other intensely interesting Scriptures bear on this:
When Yeshua was a child, he taken to the temple by His parents,
as recorded in Luke Chap. 2 verses 25-32; also, when Yeshua as a boy of twelve
was in the temple, sitting in the midst of the doctors
and all that heard
Him were astonished at His understanding and answers (Luke Chap. 2 verses
46-47).
After years, even centuries of waiting, the Messiah suddenly
came to His temple! (Malachi Chap. 3 verse 1). Then a few years later, God,
with a dramatic gesture, destroyed the temple and the city of Jerusalem, even
as Yeshua had told the people. On the old temple site now stands a heathen
shrine.
Providence, by these significant facts, is saying to all
Jews, to all people everywhere, the Messiah has already come! He cant come
now, there is no temple. The Messiah had to come 2,000 years ago, before God
had the temple destroyed.
Either Yeshua is the true Messiah, or there is no Messiah,
no prophecy, no Word of God, no God, no objective truth; and then all history,
as well as all the future, is as meaningless as the babbling of a dribbling
idiot and as purposeless as the driftwood on the outskirts of a maddening whirlpool.
Daniel says something remarkable about the coming of Christ
relative to the temple. In giving the timetable from his time to the coming
of the Messiah (see the next paragraph), Daniel makes it very clear that the
Messiah will come and be cut off (die) before the people [the Romans]
of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city [Jerusalem] and the sanctuary
[the temple] (Daniel Chap. 9 verse 26). Since we have already discussed this
under point B (above), we pass on to our next act relative to the time
of the Messiahs coming.
The Messiah must come 483 years after a specific date in
Daniels time. This definite prediction as to the exact TIME of the coming
of the Messiah is one of the most wonderful prophecies in the entire Bible.
It establishes the date of the Messiahs advent almost five hundred years
before He came.

Malachi 3:1 is a very important scripture
connecting many scriptures together. Let's consider.

The Time for the Messiah
Dan.9[
25] Know therefore and understand,
that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem
unto the Messiah the Prince
The Messiah must come 483 years after a specific date in
Daniels time. This definite prediction as to the exact TIME of the coming
of the Messiah is one of the most wonderful prophecies in the entire Bible.
It establishes the date of the Messiahs advent almost five hundred years
before He came.
[26] And after
threescore and two weeks shall Messiah
be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince
that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof
shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Here are some interesting predictions to ponder:
Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth
of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto THE MESSIAH
THE PRINCE shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two
weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.
And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for Himself:
and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the
sanctuary (Daniel Chap. 9 verses 25-26).
The date of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem
was the decree by Artaxerxes in 444 B.C. granting permission to the Jews to
return to Israel and rebuild the city of Jerusalem (see Nehemiah Chap. 2 verses
1-8). The Hebrew word translated weeks in the Scripture quoted above (Daniel
Chap. 9 verses 25-26) means sevens and is used for years. (See Leviticus
Chap. 25 verse 8; Genesis Chap. 29 verses 27-28.) In other words, the seventy-sevens
that are prophetically determined on Israel and on the holy city, with specified
events (verse 24), is a period of 490 years.
This period is divided into three sections:
(1) Seven weeks, or seven sevens of years-the 49 years
the prophet allotted for the rebuilding of Jerusalem under the leadership of
Nehemiah and Ezra and those associated with them (see the books of Nehemiah
and Ezra). History tells us it took 49 years to do this rebuilding job.
(2) A second period of 62 weeks, or 434 years, which
would bring the time to the MESSIAH.
(3) The 70th week, a period of seven years some time
after the coming of the Messiah.
We now are especially interested in the period from the
going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem to Messiah
the Prince, which totals to a period of 483 years.
Sir Robert Anderson, in his book The Coming
Prince, gave the world his findings.
We quote from the facts he presents:
He starts with March 14, 444 B.C., the date of the commandment
to
restore and build Jerusalem; and he ends the period with
Jesus triumphal entry into Jerusalem (which he believes was the official
presentation of the Messiah as Prince to Israel. Matthew Chap. 21 verses
1-9 with Zechariah Chap. 9 verse 9). After careful investigation and consultation
with noted astronomers, he gives these startling findings: From 444 B.C.
to 32 A.D. is 476 years; 476 X 365 is 173,740 days; from March 14 to April
6 (the day of Christs triumphal entry) is 24 days, add 116 days for leap
years, (For a year to be a leap year, it must be exactly divisible by four,
unless the year ends in two zeros; then it must be divisible by 400), and
you get a total of 173,880 days. Since the prophetic year of the Bible is
always 360 days, the 69 sevens of this prophecy in Daniel (69 X 7 X 360)
is 173,880 days! And so the time given by Daniel from the commandment to
restore and build Jerusalem to Messiah the Prince comes out perfectly-to
the very day! This is a genuine prophecy!!
[8] The silver is mine, and
the gold is mine, saith the LORD of hosts.
[9] The
glory of this latter house shall be greater than of
the former, saith the LORD of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, saith
the LORD of hosts.
[8] But what went ye out for
to see? A man clothed in soft raiment? behold, they that wear soft clothing
are in kings' houses.[9] But what went ye out for to
see? A prophet? yea, I say unto you, and more than a prophet.[10] For this
is he, of whom it is written, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face,
which shall prepare thy way before thee.
[11]
Verily I say unto you, Among them that are born of women there hath not risen
a greater than John the Baptist: notwithstanding he that is least in the kingdom
of heaven is greater than he.[12
] And from the days of John the Baptist
until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence,
and the violent take it by force.[13] For all the prophets
and the law prophesied until John.[14] And if ye will receive it, this is Elias,
which was for to come.[15] He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.
[2] As
it is written in the prophets, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face,
which shall prepare thy way before thee.[
3] The voice of one crying in the wilderness,
Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight
.[4]
John did baptize in the wilderness, and preach the baptism of repentance for
the remission of sins.
[28]
For I say unto you, Among those that are born of women there is not a greater
prophet than John the Baptist:
but he that is least in the kingdom of God is greater than he.
[4]
Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low:
and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough places plain:
[5] And the glory of the LORD
shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together: for the mouth of the
LORD hath spoken it.
[33] But this shall be the covenant
that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD,
I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and
will be their God, and they shall be my people.
[34] And they shall teach no
more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD:
for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them,
saith the LORD; for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their
sin no more.
[7] For if that first covenant
had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second.[
8] For finding fault with them,
he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will mak a
new covenant with the house of Israel
and with the house of Judah:[9
] Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers
in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt;
because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the
Lord.
[10] For this is the covenant
that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord;
I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will
be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:
[11] And they shall not teach
every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord:
for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest.
[12] For I will be merciful
to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember
no more. [13] In that he saith,
A new covenant, he hath made
the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away.
[8] The silver is mine, and
the gold is mine, saith the LORD of hosts.
[9] The
glory of this latter house shall be greater than of
the former, saith the LORD of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, saith
the LORD of hosts.
[2] Saying unto them, Go into
the village over against you, and straightway ye shall find an ass tied, and
a colt with her: loose them, and bring them unto me.
[3] And if any man say ought
unto you, ye shall say, The Lord hath need of them; and straightway he will
send them.
[4] All this was done, that it might be fulfilled which
was spoken by the prophet, saying,
[5] Tell ye the daughter of
Sion, Behold, thy King cometh unto thee
, meek, and sitting upon an ass, and a
colt the foal of an ass.
[2] And saith unto them, Go
your way into the village over against you: and as soon as ye be entered into
it, ye shall find a colt tied, whereon never man sat; loose him, and bring
him.
[3] And if any man say unto
you, Why do ye this? say ye that the Lord hath need of him; and straightway
he will send him hither.
[4] And they went their way,
and found the colt tied by the door without in a place where two ways met;
and they loose him.
[5] And certain of them that
stood there said unto them, What do ye, loosing the colt?
[6] And they said unto them
even as Jesus had commanded: and they let them go.
[7] And they brought the colt
to Jesus, and cast their garments on him; and he sat upon him.
[8] And many spread their garments
in the way: and others cut down branches off the trees, and strawed them in
the way.
[9] And they that went before,
and they that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna; Blessed
is he that cometh in the name of the Lord:
[10]
Blessed be the kingdom of our father David, that cometh in the name of the
Lord: Hosanna in the highest.
[11]
And Jesus entered into Jerusalem, and into the temple
: and when he had looked round about upon all things, and now
the eventide was come, he went out unto Bethany with the twelve.
[30] Saying, Go ye into the
village over against you; in the which at your entering ye shall find a colt
tied, whereon yet never man sat: loose him, and bring him hither.
[31] And if any man ask you,
Why do ye loose him? thus shall ye say unto him, Because the Lord hath need
of him.
[32] And they that were sent
went their way, and found even as he had said unto them.
[33] And as they were loosing
the colt, the owners thereof said unto them, Why loose ye the colt?
[34] And they said, The Lord
hath need of him.
[35] And they brought him to
Jesus: and they cast their garments upon the colt, and they set Jesus thereon.
[36] And as he went, they spread
their clothes in the way.
[37] And when he was come nigh,
even now at the descent of the mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the
disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty
works that they had seen;
[38] Saying
, Blessed be the King that cometh in the name of the Lord
: peace in heaven, and glory in the highest.
[42] Saying, If thou hadst known,
even thou, at least in this thy day, the things which belong unto thy peace!
but now they are hid from thine eyes.
[43] For the days shall come upon thee, that thine enemies
shall cast a trench about thee, and compass thee round, and keep thee in on
every side,
[44] And shall lay thee even with the ground, and thy children within thee;
and they shall not leave in thee one stone upon another; because thou knewest
not the time of thy visitation.
[45] And he went into the temple,
[13] Took branches of palm trees,
and went forth to meet him, and cried,
Hosanna: (save now) Blessed is the
King of Israel that cometh in the name of the Lord.
[14]
And Jesus, when he had found a young ass, sat thereon; as it is written,
[15] Fear not, daughter of Sion:
behold, thy King cometh, sitting on an ass's colt.
[16] These things understood
not his disciples at the first: but when Jesus was glorified, then remembered
they that these things were written of him, and that they had done these things
unto things unto him.
[23] This is the LORD's doing;
it is marvellous in our eyes.
[24] This is the day which the
LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.
[25]
Save now, I beseech thee, O LORD: O LORD, I beseech
thee, send now prosperity. [26
] Blessed be he that cometh in the name of the LORD: we have blessed
you out of the house of the LORD
