Shabbat Shalom
May 5, 2007 - We are now in the month Zif, which is the second month, 17th day ( end of April / May ).
Judaism is wrong by calling this month Iyyar. Iyyar is not in the Hebrew Scriptures.
1Kgs.6 [1] And it came to pass in the four hundred and eightieth year after the children of Israel were come out of the land of Egypt, in the fourth year of Solomon's reign over Israel, in the month Zif, which is the second month, that he began to build the house of the LORD.

Spring Feasts and Holy Days
of the Lord this year 2007
We are counting the omer.
This is the 4th week of counting the omer.
Three weeks left.
Lev.23 [
15 ] And
ye shall count unto you from the morrow after the sabbath
, from the day that ye brought the sheaf of the wave
offering; seven sabbaths shall be complete:[ 16
] Even unto the morrow after the seventh sabbath shall
ye number fifty days; and ye
shall offer a new meat offering unto the LORD [17
] Ye shall bring out of your habitations two wave loaves
of two tenth deals: they shall be of fine flour; they shall be
baken with leaven; they are the firstfruits
unto the LORD.
This year, 2007, our dates are as follows:
The 3rd month,
Sivan 9th is on the 27th of May and is a Sabbath
( Sunday ) Feast of Weeks - Pentecost.
Two sabbaths in a row.
The giving of the Torah ( commandments ) and giving of the
Holy Spirit ( Acts 2 and Joel 2:28 ).
Esth.8 [
9 ] Then were the king's scribes
called at that time in the third month,
that is, the month Sivan, ...

What a shame, on God's Holy
Shabbat is Cinco de Mayo this year, a drunken holiday
( not a Holy Day )
Cinco de Mayo ("The Fifth of
May" in 1) is a
national holiday in
Mexico
not the USA - Why do we celebrated
this in the United States
?
It commemorates the victory of Mexican forces led by
General Ignacio Zaragoza Seguin
over the
French occupational
forces in the Battle of Puebla
on
May 5,
1862
.
A common misconception
is that Cinco de Mayo is
Mexico's Independence Day
, which is celebrated on
September 16th
("Dieciseis de septiembre" in
1).
Commercial interests in the United States
have capitalized on the celebration advertising Mexican products and services
with an emphasis on foods, beverages, and music.

Where is the promise of His
coming or the end of the world?
Matt.13 [
24] Another parable put he forth unto them, saying,
The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field:
Sometimes the subject of "the coming
of the Lord" was discussed while Yeshua was still there on earth.
Matt.24
[3
] And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto
him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and
what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of
the end of the world?
Jas.5 [7] Be patient therefore,
brethren, unto the coming of the Lord
. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the
earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter
rain. [8] Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts:
for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh.
Matt.28
[20
] Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded
you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even
unto the end of the world. Amen
Acts.3
[20
] And
He shall send Yeshua the Messiah - Jesus Christ
, which before was preached
unto you:[21] Whom the heaven
must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken
by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.
Matt.24
[26
] Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert;
go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.[
27]
For as the lightning cometh out of the east,
and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man
be.
Dan.7[
13] I saw in the night visions,
and, behold, one like the Son of man
came with the clouds of heaven,
[10] A fiery stream issued and came forth from before him:
thousand thousands ministered unto him, and ten thousand times ten thousand
stood before him: the judgment was set, and the books were opened.
Rev.1[
7]
Behold, he cometh with clouds
; and every eye shall see
him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail
because of him. Even so, Amen.
1Thes.4
[15] For this we say unto you by the word of the
Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto
the coming of the Lord
shall not prevent them which are asleep. [16]
For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice
of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise
first:[17] Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with
them in the clouds
, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we
ever be with the Lord.[18] Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
Rev.22 [20] He which testifieth these things saith,
Surely I come quickly
. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.
----
1Thes.5 [
1] But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye
have no need that I write unto you.
2Pet.3 [1
] This second epistle, beloved, I now write unto you;
in both which I stir up your pure minds by way of remembrance:
Isa.65 [17] For, behold,
I create new heavens and a new earth
: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into
mind.
Isa.66 [22] For as the
new heavens and the new earth
, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the LORD,
so shall your seed and your name remain.
-----------------
The Scriptures indicate two
comings of Messiah.
Isa.66 [15
] For, behold, the LORD will
come with fire, and with his chariots like a whirlwind,
to render his anger with fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire.[
16] For by fire and by his sword will
the LORD plead with all flesh: and the slain of the LORD shall be many.
Amos.5
[18
] Woe unto you that desire the day of the
LORD! to what end is it for you? the
day of the LORD is darkness, and not
light. [19] As if a man did
flee from a lion, and a bear met him; or went into the house, and leaned his
hand on the wall, and a serpent bit him.[20
] Shall not the day of the LORD
be darkness, and not light? even very dark, and no
brightness in it?
Obad.1
[15
] For the day of the LORD
is near upon all the heathen: as thou hast done, it shall be
done unto thee: thy reward shall return upon thine own head.
Isa.26
[21
] For, behold, the LORD cometh
out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth
for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more
cover her slain.
Isa.30
[27
] Behold, the name of the LORD cometh
from far, burning with his anger, and the burden thereof
is heavy: his lips are full of indignation, and his tongue as a devouring
Isa.13
[9
] Behold, the day of the LORD cometh
, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the
land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it.
Pss.98
[9
] Before the LORD
; for he cometh to judge the earth: with righteousness shall he
judge the world, and the people with equity.
Pss.50
[3
] Our God shall
come, and shall not keep silence: a fire shall devour before him, and it shall
be very tempestuous round about him.
Pss.62
[1
] Truly my soul waiteth upon God
: from him cometh my salvation.
Isa.40
[10
] Behold, the Lord
GOD will come with strong hand,
and his arm shall rule for him: behold, his reward is with him, and his work
before him.
Zech.14
[5
] And ye shall flee to the valley of the mountains; for the valley
of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled
from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and the LORD
my God shall come, and all the
saints with thee.
Joel.2
[1
] Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain:
let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of
the LORD cometh, for it is nigh at
hand;
Mic.1
[3]
For, behold, the LORD cometh
forth out of his place, and will come down, and tread upon the
high places of the earth.
Zech.14
[1
] Behold, the day of the LORD cometh
, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee.
Jude.1
[14
] And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these,
saying, Behold, the Lord cometh
with ten thousands of his saints,
Mark.9
[1
] And he said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That there be
some of them that stand here, which shall not taste of death, till they have
seen the kingdom of God come
with power.
Isa.2
[12]
For the day of the LORD of hosts
shall be upon every one that is proud and lofty, and upon every one that is
lifted up; and he shall be brought low:
[13] And upon
all the cedars of Lebanon, that are high and lifted up, and upon all the oaks
of Bashan,
Isa.13
[6
] Howl ye; for the day of the LORD
is at hand; it shall come as a destruction from the Almighty.
[7] Therefore shall all hands
be faint, and every man's heart shall melt:
Isa.34
[4
] And all the host of heaven shall be dissolved
, and the heavens shall be rolled
together as a scroll: and all their host shall fall
down, as the leaf falleth off from the vine, and as a falling fig from the
fig tree.
[8] For it is
the day of the LORD's vengeance,
and the year of recompences for the controversy of Zion.
[16] Seek ye
out of the book of the LORD, and read: no one of these shall fail, none shall
want her mate: for my mouth it hath commanded, and his spirit it hath gathered
them.
Jer.46
[10
] For this is the day of the Lord
GOD of hosts, a day of vengeance, that he may avenge him
of his adversaries: and the sword shall devour, and it shall be satiate and
made drunk with their blood: for the Lord GOD of hosts hath a sacrifice in
the north country by the river Euphrates.
Ezek.30
[3
] For the day is near, even the day of
the LORD is near, a cloudy day; it shall be the time
of the heathen.
Joel.1
[15
] Alas for the day! for the day of the
LORD is at hand, and as a destruction from the Almighty
shall it come.
Joel.2
[1
] Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain:
let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the
day of the LORD cometh, for it is nigh at hand;
[11] And the
LORD shall utter his voice before his army: for his camp is very great: for
he is strong that executeth his word: for the day of
the LORD is great and very terrible; and who can abide
it?
[31] The sun
shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and
the terrible day of the LORD
come.
Joel.3
[14
] Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision: for the
day of the LORD is near in
the valley of decision.
Zeph.1
[7
] Hold thy peace at the presence of the Lord GOD: for the
day of the LORD is at hand:
for the LORD hath prepared a sacrifice, he hath bid his guests. [
8] And it shall come to pass in the
day of the LORD's sacrifice,
that I will punish the princes, and the king's children, and all such as are
clothed with strange apparel.
[14] The great
day of the LORD is near, it
is near, and hasteth greatly, even the voice of the
day of the LORD: the mighty man shall cry there bitterly.
[18] Neither
their silver nor their gold shall be able to deliver them in the
day of the LORD's wrath; but the whole
land shall be devoured by the fire of his jealousy: for he shall make even
a speedy riddance of all them that dwell in the land.
Zeph.2
[2
] Before the decree bring forth, before the day pass as the chaff,
before the fierce anger of the LORD come upon you, before the
day of the LORD's anger come upon
you.
[3] Seek ye
the LORD, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness,
seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in the day
of the LORD's anger.
Zech.14
[1
] Behold, the day of the LORD
cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of
thee.

dreadful day of the LORD:
Acts.2
[20

before that great and notable day of the Lord
come:
1Cor.5
[5
] To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the
flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the
Lord Jesus.
Messiah
Pss.2 [1
] Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a
vain thing?
Rev.2
[27]
And he shall rule them with a rod of iron
; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers:
even as I received of my Father.
Rev.12
[5
] And she brought forth a man child
, who was to rule all nations with a
rod of iron: and her child was caught
up unto God, and to his throne.
Rev.19
[15
] And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should
smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod
of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness
and wrath of Almighty God.
---------------
Be Honest
Luke.8 [
4] And when much people were
gathered together, and were come to him out of every city, he spake by a parable:
[15] But that
on the good ground are they, which in an honest
and good heart, having heard the word, keep it, and bring
forth fruit with patience.
Acts.6
[3
] Wherefore, brethren, look ye out among you seven men of
honest report, full of the
Holy Ghost and wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business.
Rom.12[
17] Recompense to no man evil
for evil. Provide things honest
in the sight of all men.
Rom.13[
13] Let
us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and
drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying.
2Cor.8[
21] Providing for
honest things, not only in the sight
of the Lord, but also in the sight of men.
Phil.4[
8] Finally, brethren, whatsoever
things are true, whatsoever things are honest
, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure,
whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there
be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
1Thes.4[
12] That ye may walk
honestly toward them that are without,
and that ye may have lack of nothing.
1Tim.2[
2] For kings, and for all that
are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness
and honesty.
Heb.13[
18] Pray for us: for we trust
we have a good conscience, in all things willing to live
honestly.
1Pet.2[
12] Having your conversation
honest among the Gentiles:
that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works,
which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation.
Shalom unto you
[25] But while men slept, his
enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.
[26] But when the blade was
sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also.
[27] So the servants of the
householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy
field? from whence then hath it tares?
[28] He said unto them, An enemy
hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather
them up?
[29] But he said, Nay; lest
while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them.
[30] Let both grow together
until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather
ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather
the wheat into my barn.
[31] Another parable put he
forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is like to a grain of mustard
seed, which a man took, and sowed in his field:
[32] Which indeed is the least
of all seeds: but when it is grown, it is the greatest among herbs, and becometh
a tree, so that the birds of the air come and lodge in the branches thereof.
[33] Another parable spake he
unto them; The kingdom of heaven is like unto leaven, which a woman took, and
hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened.
[34] All these things spake
Jesus unto the multitude in parables; and without a parable spake he not unto
them:
[35] That it might be fulfilled
which was spoken by the prophet, saying, I will open my mouth in parables;
I will utter things which have been kept secret from the foundation of the
world.
[36] Then Jesus sent the multitude
away, and went into the house: and his disciples came unto him, saying, Declare
unto us the parable of the tares of the field.
[37] He answered and said unto
them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man;
[38] The field is the world;
the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children
of the wicked one;
[39] The enemy that sowed them
is the devil; the harvest is the end
of the world; and the reapers are the angels.
[40] As therefore the tares
are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the
end of this world.
[41]
The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his
kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity;
[42] And shall cast them into
a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.
[43] Then shall the righteous
shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear,
let him hear.
[2] For yourselves know perfectly
that the day of
the Lord so cometh
as a thief in the night.
[3]
For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon
them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.
[4] But ye, brethren, are not
in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.
[5] Ye are all the children
of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.
[6] Therefore let us not sleep,
as do others; but let us watch and be sober.
[7] For they that sleep sleep
in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night.
[8] But let us, who are of the
day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet,
the hope of salvation.
[2] That ye may be mindful of
the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment
of us the apostles of the Lord and Saviour:
[3] Knowing this first, that
there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,
[4] And saying,
Where is the promise of his coming?
for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue
as they were from the beginning of the creation.
[5] For this they willingly
are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth
standing out of the water and in the water:
[6] Whereby the world that then
was, being overflowed with water, perished:
[7] But the heavens and the
earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store,
reserved unto fire
against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.
[8] But, beloved, be not ignorant
of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a
thousand years as one day.
[9] The Lord is not slack concerning
his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward,
not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
[10] But the day of the Lord
will come as a thief in the night; in the which
the heavens shall pass away with a great noise,
and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works
that are therein shall be burned up.
[11]
Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons
ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,
[12] Looking for and hasting
unto the coming of the day of God, wherein
the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved,
and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
[13]
Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for
new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth
righteousness.
[14] Wherefore, beloved, seeing
that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace,
without spot, and blameless.
[15] And account that the longsuffering
of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to
the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you;
[16] As also in all his epistles,
speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood,
which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other
scriptures, unto their own destruction.
[17] Ye therefore, beloved,
seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with
the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness.
[18] But grow in grace, and
in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both
now and for ever. Amen.
[14] And upon all the high mountains,
and upon all the hills that are lifted up,
[15] And upon every high tower,
and upon every fenced wall,
[16] And upon all the ships
of Tarshish, and upon all pleasant pictures.
[17] And the loftiness of man
shall be bowed down, and the haughtiness of men shall be made low: and the
LORD alone shall be exalted in that day.
[18] And the idols he shall
utterly abolish.
[19] And they shall go into
the holes of the rocks, and into the caves of the earth, for fear of the LORD,
and for the glory of his majesty, when he ariseth to shake terribly the earth.
[20] In that day a man shall
cast his idols of silver, and his idols of gold, which they made each one for
himself to worship, to the moles and to the bats;
[21] To go into the clefts of
the rocks, and into the tops of the ragged rocks, for fear of the LORD, and
for the glory of his majesty, when he ariseth to shake terribly the earth.
[22] Cease ye from man, whose
breath is in his nostrils: for wherein is he to be accounted of?
[8] And they shall be afraid:
pangs and sorrows shall take hold of them; they shall be in pain as a woman
that travaileth: they shall be amazed one at another; their faces shall be
as flames.
[9] Behold, the day of the LORD
cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and
he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it.
[10] For the stars of heaven
and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be
darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine.
[11] And I will punish the world
for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy
of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible.[
12] I will make a man more precious
than fine gold; even a man than the golden wedge of Ophir.
[13] Therefore I will shake
the heavens, and the earth shall remove out of her place, in the wrath of the
LORD of hosts, and in the day of his fierce anger.
[2] The kings of the earth set
themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against
his anointed, saying,
[3] Let us break their bands
asunder, and cast away their cords from us.
[4] He that sitteth in the heavens
shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.
[5] Then shall he speak unto
them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.
[6] Yet have I set my king upon
my holy hill of Zion.
[7] I will declare the decree:
the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day
have I begotten thee.
[8]
Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the
uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.
[9] Thou shalt break them with
a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel.
[10] Be wise now therefore,
O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth.
[11] Serve the LORD with fear,
and rejoice with trembling.
[12]
Kiss the Son, lest he
be angry, and ye perish from the way, when
his wrath is kindled but a little.
Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.
[5] A sower went out to sow
his seed: and as he sowed, some fell by the way side; and it was trodden down,
and the fowls of the air devoured it.
[6] And some fell upon a rock;
and as soon as it was sprung up, it withered away, because it lacked moisture.
[7] And some fell among thorns;
and the thorns sprang up with it, and choked it.
[8] And other fell on good ground,
and sprang up, and bare fruit an hundredfold. And when he had said these things,
he cried, He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.
[9] And his disciples asked
him, saying, What might this parable be?
[10] And he said, Unto you it
is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to others in parables;
that seeing they might not see, and hearing they might not understand.
[11] Now the parable is this:
The seed is the word of God.
[12] Those by the way side are
they that hear; then cometh the devil, and taketh away the word out of their
hearts, lest they should believe and be saved.
[13] They on the rock are they,
which, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, which
for a while believe, and in time of temptation fall away.
[14] And that which fell among
thorns are they, which, when they have heard, go forth, and are choked with
cares and riches and pleasures of this life, and bring no fruit to perfection.
