Shabbat Shalom

Today we use the Gregorian calendar
(From Pope Gregory, from the 1500's) – Jan.
2nd, 2010
----------
God has His own calendar
We are now in the 10th month of God called Teveth in
Hebrew, 15th day
----------
Topic: To know
good and evil
You say you love God and hate your brother or sister?
Rom. 12 [9] Let love
be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is
good.
[10] Be kindly affectionate one to another with brotherly
love; in honour preferring one another;
Dissimulation: To disguise (one's intentions) under a feigned appearance. To conceal one's true feelings or intentions.
We want to be without dissimulation (without hypocrisy), unfeigned - We want to be genuine!
---------------
1 Thes. 4 [9] But as
touching brotherly love ye need not that I write unto you: for ye
yourselves are taught of God to love one another.
Heb. 13 [1] Let
brotherly love continue.
1Pet. 2 [17] Honour
all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honour the king.
1 John 3 [14] We know that we have passed from
death unto life, because we love the brethren.
He that loveth not his brother abideth
in death.
[15] Whosoever hateth his brother is a
murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him.
[16] Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life
for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.
[17] But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need,
and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of
God in him?
[18] My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in
deed and in truth.
1 John 2 [9] He that
saith he is in the light, and hateth his brother, is
in darkness even until now.
[10] He that loveth his brother abideth in
the light, and there is none occasion of stumbling in him.
[11] But he that hateth his brother is
in darkness, and walketh in darkness, and knoweth not whither he goeth, because
that darkness hath blinded his eyes.
-------------
1 John 4 [20] If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a
liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God
whom he hath not seen?
[21] And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also.
-------------
Good and evil
Genesis 2:9 And out of the ground made the Yehovah God to grow every tree that is
pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of
the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and
evil.
Genesis 2:17: But of the tree of the knowledge of good
and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest
thereof thou shalt surely die.
Genesis 3:5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes
shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good
and evil.
Genesis 3:22 And the Yehovah God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to
know good and evil: and now, lest he put
forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:
----------
Deut. 1 [39 ] Moreover your little ones , which ye said should
be a prey, and your children, which in that day had
no knowledge between good and evil, they shall go in thither, and
unto them will I give it, and they shall possess it.
----------
No one is exempt
Rom. 2 [11] For there is no respect of persons with God.
[12] For as many as have sinned without law shall
also perish without law: and as many as have
sinned in the law shall be judged by the law;
[13] (For not the hearers of the law are just
before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.
-------
"They have not known Me"
Do you know Him?
Luke 22 [57] And he
(Peter) denied him, saying, Woman, I know him not.
Luke 12 [8] Also I say unto you, whosoever shall confess me before men, him
shall the Son of man also confess before the angels of God:
[9] But he that denieth
me before men shall be denied before the angels of God.
--------
You say you know Him, God, do you?
1 John 2 [3] And hereby we do know that we
know him, if we keep his commandments.
[4] He that saith, I know
him, and keepeth not his commandments, is
a liar, and
the truth is not in him.
Hos. 4 [6] My people are destroyed for
lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also
reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the
law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.
---------
Can two walk together if they agree not? NO!
Jer. 6 [16] Thus saith Yehovah, Stand ye
in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and
walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein.
Ezek. 33 [32] And, lo, thou art unto them as a very lovely song of one that
hath a pleasant voice, and can play well on an instrument: for they hear thy
words, but they do them not.
------------------------------
Jer. 4 [22 ] For my people is foolish, they have not
known me ; they are sottish children, and they have none understanding:
they are wise to do evil, but to do good they have no
knowledge.
sottish: a fool, stupefied with drink; drunken, given
to excessive drinking
------------
Hos. 5 [4] They will not frame (perfect) their doings to turn unto
their God: for the spirit of whoredoms is in the midst of them, and they have not known Yehovah.
Pss. 95 [10] Forty years long was I grieved with this generation, and
said, It is a people that do err in their heart, and they have not known my ways:
------------------------------
John 1 [10] He, (Messiah) was in the world, and
the world was made by him, and the world knew
him not.
[29] The next day John seeth Jesus coming
unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the
world.
[30] This is he of whom I said, After me cometh a man which is preferred
before me: for he was before me.
[31] And I
knew him not: but that he should be made manifest to Israel,
therefore am I come baptizing with water. [32] And John bare record,
saying, I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode upon
him.
[33] And I
knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same
said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on
him, the same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost.
[34] And I saw, and bare record that this
is the Son of God.
------------
Acts 13 [27 ] For they that dwell at Jerusalem, and their rulers, because they knew him not , nor yet the voices of
the prophets which are read every sabbath day, they have fulfilled them in
condemning him.
------------
John 7 [27] Howbeit we know this man whence he is: but when Messiah / Christ
cometh, no man knoweth whence he is.
[28] Then cried Yeshuas in the temple as he
taught, saying, Ye both know me, and ye know whence I
am : and I am not come of myself, but he that sent me is true, whom ye know not. (the Father)
[29] But I know him : (the Father) for I am from him, (the Father) and
he (the Father) hath sent me.
------------
John 8 [54] Jesus answered, If I honour myself, my honour is nothing:
it is my Father that honoureth me; of whom ye say, that he is your God:
[55] Yet ye
have not known him; (the Father) but I know him: (the Father) and if I should
say, I know him not, (the Father) I shall be a liar like unto you: but I
know him, and keep his (the Father) saying.
------------
John 14 [6 ] Yeshua saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the
life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
[7] If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from
henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.
[8] Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth
us.[9 ] Yeshua saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me
, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the
Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?
[15] If ye love me, keep my
commandments.
[16] And I will pray the Father, and he
shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
[17] Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it
seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you,
and shall be in you.
[18] I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.
------------------------------
John 16
[1] These things have I spoken unto you,
that ye should not be offended.
[2] They shall put you out of the synagogues:
yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God
service.
[3 ] And these things will they do unto
you, because they have not known the Father, nor me.
[4] But these things have I told you, that when
the time shall come, ye may remember that I told you of them.
------------
John 17 [25 ] O righteous Father, the
world hath not known thee: but I have
known thee, and these have known that thou hast sent me.
------------
Heb. 3 [10 ] Wherefore I was grieved with that generation, and said, They
do alway err in their heart; and they have not known my
ways.
------------------------------
1 Cor. 8 [3] ...
if any man love God, the same is known of him.
1 John 3 [1] Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon
us, that we should be called the sons of God:
therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.

Strong Advice
Let's shed our old religions and pagan feasts where we
thought God was with us
Sorry, Wrong lord!!
Read slowly what Yeshua says:
------------------------------
Few there be that find
it
Luke 13 [24] Strive
to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say
unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.
------------------------------
They say:
We have eaten and drunk in thy presence
thou hast taught in our
streets
They ask 3 questions:
in thy name have cast out devils?
have we not prophesied in thy name?
in thy name done
many wonderful works?
------------------------------
They use these words
thy presence
thou
thy name
------------------------------
Sorry, Wrong lord!!

***Yeshua says:
I know you not whence ye are
I know you not whence ye are
I never knew you

Matt. 7
[21] Not every one that
saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the
kingdom of heaven;
but he that doeth the
will of my Father which is in heaven.
[22] Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name?
and in thy name
have cast out devils?
and in thy name done many
wonderful works?
[23] And then will I profess unto them, I never knew
you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
------------------------------
Luke 13
[23] Then said one unto him, Lord, are there few that be saved? And he said unto them,
[24] Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.
[25] When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the
door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and
say unto you, I know you not whence ye are:
[26] Then shall ye begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streets.
[27] But he
shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye
workers of iniquity.
[28] There shall be weeping and gnashing
of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the
prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you yourselves
thrust out.

Always just a Few - Remnant
Matt.7 [13] Enter
ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad

[14] Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth
unto life, and few there be that find it.

[27] They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage,
until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed
them all.
[28] Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they
bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;
[29] But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone
from heaven, and destroyed them all.
[30] Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.

Zeph. 1 [1] The word of the Yehovah which came unto Zephaniah the son of Cushi,
the son of Gedaliah, the son of Amariah, the son of Hizkiah, in the days of
Josiah the son of Amon, king of Judah.
[2] I will utterly consume all things from
off the land, saith Yehovah.
[3] I will consume man and beast; I will
consume the fowls of the heaven, and the fishes of the sea, and the
stumblingblocks with the wicked; and I will cut off man from off the land,
saith Yehovah.
[4] I will also stretch out mine hand upon
Judah, and upon all the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and I will cut off the
remnant of Baal from this place, and the name of the Chemarims with the
priests;
[5] And them that worship the host Yehovah

Misc:
A few
scriptures pertaining to the “Remnant of Israel” in TaNaK
[6] So the posts went with the letters from the king and his
princes throughout all Israel and Judah, and according to the commandment of
the king, saying, Ye children of Israel, turn again unto Yehovah God of
Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, and he will return to the remnant of you,
that are escaped out of the hand of the kings of Assyria.
[9] And when they came to Hilkiah the high priest, they
delivered the money that was brought into the house of God, which the Levites
that kept the doors had gathered of the hand of Manasseh and Ephraim, and of
all the remnant of Israel, and of all Judah and Benjamin; and they returned
to Jerusalem.
[20] And it shall come to pass in that day, that the remnant
of Israel, and such as are escaped of the house of Jacob, shall no more again
stay upon him that smote them; but shall stay upon Yehovah, the Holy One
of Israel, in truth.
[21] The remnant shall return, even the remnant of
Jacob, unto the mighty God.
[22] For though thy people Israel be as the sand of the sea,
yet a remnant of them shall return: the consumption decreed shall
overflow with righteousness.
[11] And it shall come to pass in that day, that Yehovah
shall set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant of his
people, which shall be left, from Assyria, and from Egypt, and from
Pathros, and from Cush, and from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and
from the islands of the sea.
[16] And there shall be an highway for the remnant of his
people, which shall be left, from Assyria; like as it was to Israel in the
day that he came up out of the land of Egypt.
[4] It may be Yehovah thy God will hear the words of
Rabshakeh, whom the king of Assyria his master hath sent to reproach the living
God, and will reprove the words which Yehovah thy God hath heard:
wherefore lift up thy prayer for the remnant that is left.
[31] And the remnant that is escaped of the house of
Judah shall again take root downward, and bear fruit upward:
[32] For out of Jerusalem shall go forth a remnant, and
they that escape out of mount Zion: the zeal of Yehovah of hosts shall
do this.
[3] Hearken unto me, O house of Jacob, and all the remnant
of the house of Israel, which are borne by me from the belly, which are
carried from the womb:
[9] Thus saith Yehovah of hosts, They shall throughly
glean the remnant of Israel as a vine: turn back thine hand as a
grapegatherer into the baskets.
[3] And I will gather the remnant of my flock out of all
countries whither I have driven them, and will bring them again to their folds;
and they shall be fruitful and increase.
[7] For thus saith Yehovah; Sing with gladness for
Jacob, and shout among the chief of the nations: publish ye, praise ye, and
say, O LORD, save thy people, the remnant of Israel.
[9] Then Nebuzar-adan the captain of the guard carried away
captive into Babylon the remnant of the people that remained in the
city, and those that fell away, that fell to him, with the rest of the people
that remained.
[11] Likewise when all the Jews that were in Moab, and among
the Ammonites, and in Edom, and that were in all the countries, heard that the
king of Babylon had left a remnant of Judah, and that he had set over
them Gedaliah the son of Ahikam the son of Shaphan;
[15] Then Johanan the son of Kareah spake to Gedaliah in Mizpah
secretly, saying, Let me go, I pray thee, and I will slay Ishmael the son of
Nethaniah, and no man shall know it: wherefore should he slay thee, that all
the Jews which are gathered unto thee should be scattered, and the remnant
in Judah perish?
[16] Then took Johanan the son of Kareah, and all the captains
of the forces that were with him, whom he had recovered from Ishmael the son of
Nethaniah, from Mizpah, after that he had slain Gedaliah the son of Ahikam,
even mighty men of war, and the women, and the children, and the eunuchs, whom
he had brought again from Gibeon:
[2] And said unto Jeremiah the prophet, Let, we beseech thee,
our supplication be accepted before thee, and pray for us unto Yehovah
thy God, even for all this remnant; (for we are left but a few of many,
as thine eyes do behold us:)
[15] And now therefore hear the word of Yehovah, ye
remnant of Judah; Thus saith Yehovah of hosts, the God of Israel; If
ye wholly set your faces to enter into Egypt, and go to sojourn there;
[19] Yehovah hath said concerning you, O ye remnant
of Judah; Go ye not into Egypt: know certainly that I have admonished you this
day.
[5] But Johanan the son of Kareah, and all the captains of the
forces, took all the remnant of Judah, that were returned from all
nations, whither they had been driven, to dwell in the land of Judah;
[12] And I will take the remnant of Judah, that have set
their faces to go into the land of Egypt to sojourn there, and they shall all
be consumed, and fall in the land of Egypt; they shall even be consumed by the
sword and by the famine: they shall die, from the least even unto the greatest,
by the sword and by the famine: and they shall be an execration, and an
astonishment, and a curse, and a reproach.
[14] So that none of the remnant of Judah, which are
gone into the land of Egypt to sojourn there, shall escape or remain, that they
should return into the land of Judah, to the which they have a desire to return
to dwell there: for none shall return but such as shall escape.
[28] Yet a small number that escape the sword shall return out
of the land of Egypt into the land of Judah, and all the remnant of Judah,
that are gone into the land of Egypt to sojourn there, shall know whose words
shall stand, mine, or theirs.
[4] Because of the day that cometh to spoil all the
Philistines, and to cut off from Tyrus and Zidon every helper that remaineth:
for Yehovah will spoil the Philistines, the remnant of the
country of Caphtor.
[5] Baldness is come upon Gaza; Ashkelon is cut off with the
remnant of their valley: how long wilt thou cut thyself?
[10] Therefore the fathers shall eat the sons in the midst of
thee, and the sons shall eat their fathers; and I will execute judgments in
thee, and the whole remnant of thee will I scatter into all the winds.
[8] Yet will I leave a remnant, that ye may have some
that shall escape the sword among the nations, when ye shall be scattered
through the countries.
[13] And it came to pass, when I prophesied, that Pelatiah the
son of Benaiah died. Then fell I down upon my face, and cried with a loud
voice, and said, Ah Lord GOD! wilt thou make a full end of the remnant of
Israel?
[22] Yet, behold, therein shall be left a remnant that
shall be brought forth, both sons and daughters: behold, they shall come forth
unto you, and ye shall see their way and their doings: and ye shall be
comforted concerning the evil that I have brought upon Jerusalem, even
concerning all that I have brought upon it.
[25] And I will set my jealousy against thee, and they shall
deal furiously with thee: they shall take away thy nose and thine ears; and thy
remnant shall fall by the sword: they shall take thy sons and thy
daughters; and thy residue shall be devoured by the fire.
[16] Therefore thus saith Yehovah GOD; Behold, I will
stretch out mine hand upon the Philistines, and I will cut off the Cherethims,
and destroy the remnant of the sea coast.
[32] And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on
the name of Yehovah shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in
Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as Yehovah hath said, and in the
remnant whom Yehovah shall call.
[8] And I will cut off the inhabitant from Ashdod, and him that
holdeth the sceptre from Ashkelon, and I will turn mine hand against Ekron: and
the remnant of the Philistines shall perish, saith Yehovah GOD.
[15] Hate the evil, and love the good, and establish judgment
in the gate: it may be that Yehovah God of hosts will be gracious unto the
remnant of Joseph.
[12] That they may possess the remnant of Edom, and of
all the heathen, which are called by my name, saith Yehovah that doeth
this.
[12] I will surely assemble, O Jacob, all of thee; I will
surely gather the remnant of Israel; I will put them together as the
sheep of Bozrah, as the flock in the midst of their fold: they shall make great
noise by reason of the multitude of men.
[7] And I will make her that halted a remnant, and her
that was cast far off a strong nation: and Yehovah shall reign over them
in mount Zion from henceforth, even for ever.
[3] Therefore will he give them up, until the time that she
which travaileth hath brought forth: then the remnant of his brethren
shall return unto the children of Israel.
[7] And the remnant of Jacob shall be in the midst of
many people as a dew from Yehovah, as the showers upon the grass, that
tarrieth not for man, nor waiteth for the sons of men.
[8] And the remnant of Jacob shall be among the Gentiles
in the midst of many people as a lion among the beasts of the forest, as a
young lion among the flocks of sheep: who, if he go through, both treadeth
down, and teareth in pieces, and none can deliver.
[18] Who is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and
passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he
retaineth not his anger for ever, because he delighteth in mercy.
[8] Because thou hast spoiled many nations, all the remnant
of the people shall spoil thee; because of men's blood, and for the violence of
the land, of the city, and of all that dwell therein.
[4] I will also stretch out mine hand upon Judah, and upon all
the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and I will cut off the remnant of Baal
from this place, and the name of the Chemarims with the priests;
[7] And the coast shall be for the remnant of the house
of Judah; they shall feed thereupon: in the houses of Ashkelon shall they lie
down in the evening: for Yehovah their God shall visit them, and turn
away their captivity.
[9] Therefore as I live, saith Yehovah of hosts, the God
of Israel, Surely Moab shall be as Sodom, and the children of Ammon as
Gomorrah, even the breeding of nettles, and saltpits, and a perpetual
desolation: the residue of my people shall spoil them, and the remnant
of my people shall possess them.
[13] The remnant of Israel shall not do iniquity, nor
speak lies; neither shall a deceitful tongue be found in their mouth: for they
shall feed and lie down, and none shall make them afraid.
[12] Then Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and Joshua the son
of Josedech, the high priest, with all the remnant of the people, obeyed
the voice of Yehovah their God, and the words of Haggai the prophet, as Yehovah
their God had sent him, and the people did fear before Yehovah.
[14] And Yehovah stirred up the spirit of Zerubbabel the
son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and the spirit of Joshua the son of
Josedech, the high priest, and the spirit of all the remnant of the
people; and they came and did work in the house of Yehovah of hosts,
their God,
[6] Thus saith Yehovah of hosts; If it be marvellous in
the eyes of the remnant of this people in these days, should it also be
marvellous in mine eyes? saith Yehovah of hosts.
[12] For the seed shall be prosperous; the vine shall give her
fruit, and the ground shall give her increase, and the heavens shall give their
dew; and I will cause the remnant of this people to possess all these
things.
