Today’s topic
A memorial of blowing of
trumpets
a Sabbath
Lev. 23 [23] And Yehovah spoke
unto Moses, saying,
[24] Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, In the seventh month, in the first day of the
month, shall you have a Sabbath, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, an
holy convocation.
[25] Ye shall do no
servile work therein: but you shall offer an offering made by fire unto
Yehovah.

This seventh month, ha Ethanim and its
holy days and feast are at the end of the last harvest, towards the end of the
year.
Notice how Judaism is wrong by saying this is the New Year when God says it’s the end of the harvest, the end of the
year.
Exod.23 [16] And
the feast of harvest, the first fruits of your labors, which you have sown
in the field: and the feast of ingathering, (tabernacles), which is in
the end of the year, when you have gathered in your labors out of
the field.
Exod.34 [22] And you shall observe the feast of weeks, of the first
fruits of wheat harvest, and the feast of ingathering (tabernacles) at the year's end.
Shadows of “things to come”
The feasts and holydays of Yehovah are
all about the Messiah
Saul wrote this letter to the Colossians about
2000 years ago
Colossians 2:16: Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect
of an holyday , or of the new moon, or of
the sabbath days: 17: Which are a shadow of "things
to come" (future tense); but the body is of Messiah / Christ.
Again let's go over a few
words here in Greek:
judge - κρινω krino: to try to condemn, to separate, put
asunder, to pick out, to be of opinion, judge, to pronounce an opinion
concerning right and wrong, to contend, to dispute
holyday - εορτη heorte -heh-or-tay' - a festival: - feast, holyday.
shadow - σκια skia : shadow, an image cast by an object and
representing the form of that object, a sketch, outline
new moon -noumēnia νουμηνία - noo-may-nee'-ah - the new moon
meat - βρῶσις brōsis - that which is eaten, clean food
Sabbath days
- sabbaton - σάββατον - sab'-bat-on - the
Sabbath or day of weekly repose from secular avocations
- sabbath days during the holydays or feasts.
Remember: The word Tishri that Judaism calls this month is "NOT" in scripture, it is from Babylon and their pagan feasts.
Blow the trumpet! - Time to
"Be alert"
Let’s remember these
trumpets again:
Exod. 19
[1] In the third month, when the children of
Israel were gone forth out of the land of Egypt, the same day came they into
the wilderness of Sinai.
[2] For they were departed from Rephidim, and were come to the
desert of Sinai, and had pitched in the wilderness; and there Israel camped
before the mount.
[3] And Moses went up unto God, and Yehovah called unto him out of the
mountain, saying, Thus shall you say to the house of Jacob, and tell the
children of Israel;
[4] Ye have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and how I bare you on
eagles' wings, and brought you unto myself.
[5] Now therefore, if you will obey my voice indeed, and keep my
covenant, then you shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all
the earth is mine:
[6] And you shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation.
These are the words which you shall speak unto the children of Israel.
[7] And Moses came
and called for the elders of the people, and laid before their faces all these
words which Yehovah commanded him.
[8] And all the people answered together, and said, All that Yehovah had
spoken we will do. And Moses returned the words of the people unto Yehovah.
[9] And Yehovah said unto Moses,
Lo, I come unto you in a thick cloud, that the people may hear when I speak
with you, and believe you forever. And Moses told the words of the
people unto Yehovah.
[10] And Yehovah said unto Moses, Go unto the people, and sanctify them
today and tomorrow, and let them wash their clothes,
[11] And be ready against the third day: for the third day Yehovah will
come down in the sight of all the people upon mount Sinai.
[12] And you shall set bounds unto the people round about, saying, Take
heed to yourselves, that you go not up into the mount, or touch the border of
it: whosoever touches the mount shall be surely put to death:
[13] There shall not an hand touch it, but he shall surely be stoned, or
shot through; whether it be beast or man, it shall not live: when the trumpet sounds long, they
shall come up to the mount.
[14] And Moses went
down from the mount unto the people, and sanctified the people; and they washed
their clothes.
[15] And he said unto the people, Be ready against the third
day: come not at your wives.
[16] And it came to pass on the third day in
the morning, that there were thunders and lightning, and a thick cloud
upon the mount, and the voice of the trumpet exceeding loud; so that all the
people that was in the camp trembled.
[17] And Moses brought forth the people out of the camp to meet with God; and they stood at the nether part of the mount.
[18] And Mount Sinai was altogether on a smoke, because Yehovah descended upon it in fire: and
the smoke thereof ascended as the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mount
quaked greatly.
[19] And when the voice
of the trumpet sounded long and waxed louder and louder, Moses spoke,
and God answered him by a voice.
[20] And Yehovah came down upon Mount Sinai, on the top of the mount:
and Yehovah called Moses up to the top of the mount; and Moses went up.
Pluralities of God:
[21] And Yehovah said unto Moses, Go down,
charge the people, lest they break through unto
Yehovah to gaze, and many of them perish.
[22] And let the priests also, which come near to Yehovah, sanctify
themselves, lest Yehovah break forth upon them.
[23] And Moses said unto Yehovah, The people cannot come up to Mount Sinai:
for you charged us, saying, Set bounds about the mount, and sanctify
it.
[24] And Yehovah said unto him, Away, get you down, and you shall
come up, you, and Aaron with you: but let not the priests and the people break
through to come up unto Yehovah, lest he
break forth upon them.
[25] So Moses went down unto the people, and spoke unto them.
Memorial - Let's remember
this of blowing of trumpets
Joshua 6 – A Picture of the
end
1 Now Jericho was straightly shut
up because of the children of Israel: none went out, and none came in.
2 And Yehovah said unto Joshua,
See, I have given into thine hand Jericho, and the king thereof, and
the mighty men of valor.
3 And you shall compass the city, all you
men of war, and go round about the city once. Thus shall you do
six days.
4 And seven priests shall bear
before the ark seven trumpets of rams'
horns: and the seventh day you shall compass the city seven times, and the priests shall blow with the trumpets.
5 And it shall come to pass, that when
they make a long blast with the
ram's horn, and when you hear the sound of the trumpet, all the people shall shout with a great shout; and the wall of the city shall fall down
flat, and the people shall ascend
up every man straight before
him. (Just like 1Thessalonians 4:16 -18)
6 And Joshua the son of Nun called the
priests, and said unto them, Take up the Ark of the Covenant, and let seven priests bear seven trumpets of rams' horns before the ark of Yehovah.
7 And he said unto the people, Pass on, and
compass the city, and let him that is armed pass on before the ark
of Yehovah.
8 And it came to pass, when Joshua had
spoken unto the people, that the seven priests bearing
the seven trumpets of rams' horns passed on before Yehovah, and blew
with the trumpets: and the ark of the covenant
of Yehovah followed them.
9 And the armed men went before the priests
that blew with the trumpets, and the rereward came after the ark,
the priests going on, and blowing with the trumpets.
10 And Joshua had commanded the people,
saying, Ye shall not shout, nor make any noise with your voice,
neither shall any word proceed out of your mouth, until the day I bid you shout; then shall you shout.
11 So the ark of Yehovah compassed
the city, going about it once: and they came into the camp, and lodged in the
camp.
12 And Joshua rose early in the morning, and the priests took up the ark of Yehovah.
13 And seven priests bearing seven trumpets of rams' horns before the ark of Yehovah went on
continually, and blew with the trumpets: and the armed men
went before them; but the rereward came after the ark
of Yehovah, the priests going on, and blowing with the trumpets.
14 And the second day they compassed the city
once, and returned into the camp: so they did six days.
15 And it came to pass on the seventh day , that they rose early about the dawning of
the day, and compassed the city
after the same manner seven
times : only on that day they
compassed the city seven
times.
16 And it came to pass at the seventh time, when the priests blew with the trumpets, Joshua said unto the people, Shout; for Yehovah had given you the city.
17 And the city shall be accursed, even it,
and all that are therein, to Yehovah: only Rahab the harlot
shall live, she and all that are with her in the house, because she hid the
messengers that we sent.
18 And you, in any wise keep yourselves from
the accursed thing, lest you make yourselves accursed, when you take of the
accursed thing, and make the camp of Israel a curse, and trouble it.
19 But all the silver, and gold, and vessels
of brass and iron, are consecrated unto Yehovah: they shall come into the
treasury of Yehovah.
20 So the people shouted when the priests blew with the trumpets: and it came to pass, when the people heard the
sound of the trumpet, and the people shouted with a great shout, that the wall fell down flat, so
that the people went up into the city, every man straight before
him, and they took the city.
21 And they utterly destroyed all that was in
the city, both man and woman, young and old, and ox, and sheep, and ass, with
the edge of the sword. (Sinners
lost)
22 But Joshua had said unto the two men that
had spied out the country, Go into the harlot's house, and bring out thence the
woman, and all that she had, as you sware unto her.
23 And the young men that were spies went in,
and brought Rahab, and her father, and her mother, and her brethren, and
all that she had; and they brought out all her kindred, and left them without
the camp of Israel.
24 And they burnt the city with fire, and all
that was therein: only the silver, and the gold, and the vessels of brass and
of iron, they put into the treasury of the house of Yehovah.
25 And Joshua saved Rahab the
harlot alive, and her father's household, and all that she had; and
she dwelleth in Israel even unto this day; because she hid the
messengers, which Joshua sent to spy out Jericho.
26 And Joshua adjured them at that time,
saying, cursed be the man before Yehovah,
that riseth up and builds this city Jericho: he shall lay
the foundation thereof in his firstborn, and in his youngest son shall he set
up the gates of it.
27 So Yehovah was with Joshua; and
his fame was noised throughout all the country.
Let’s look forward for these trumpets in the
future
The Lord Yeshua shall descend from
heaven!
1 Thes. 4 [13] But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren,
concerning them which are asleep, that you sorrow not, even as others which
have no hope.
[14] For if we believe that Yeshua died and rose again,
even so them also which sleep (are dead) in Yeshua will God bring with him.
[15] For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are
alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent (go before) them
which are asleep. (are dead)
[16] For the Lord himself
shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and
with the trump of God: and the dead in
Messiah shall rise first:
[17] Then we which are alive
and remain shall be caught
up together with them in the clouds, to
meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
[18] Wherefore comfort one
another with these words.
We shall rise, be changed -
The resurrection of the dead
1 Cor. 15 [42] … the resurrection of the dead, It is sown in corruption; it is
raised in incorruption:
[43] It is sown in dishonor;
it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:
[44] It is sown a natural
body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.
[45] And so it is
written, the first man Adam was
made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.
[46] Howbeit that was not first which is
spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.
[47] The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second
man is (like) the Lord from heaven.
[48] As is the
earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are
they also that are heavenly.
[49] And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear
the image of the heavenly.
[50] Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the
kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
[51] Behold, I show you
a mystery; We shall not all sleep (die), but we shall all be changed,
[52] In a moment, in the
twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised
incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
[53] For this
corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
[54] So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this
mortal shall have put on immortality, and then shall be brought to
pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
[55] O death, where is your sting? O grave, where is your victory?
[56] The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.
[57] But thanks are to God, which gives us the
victory through our Lord Yeshua the Messiah.
[58] Therefore, my beloved
brethren, be you steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work
of the Lord, forasmuch as you know that your labor is not in vain in
the Lord.
Matthew 24: 29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun
be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall
from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth
mourn, and they shall see the Son of man
coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect
from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
Revelation 8:2 And I saw the seven angels which stood before God; and to them
were given seven trumpets.
Revelation 10:7 But (and) in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he
shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should
be finished, as he had declared to his
servants the prophets.
