New Moon / Rosh Chodesh
Col.2[16] Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:[17] Which are a shadow of things to come; ( future tense, this said after Yeshua was raised from the dead ) but the body is of Messiah / Christ. ( His shadow )
Zech.7[
1] And it came to pass in the
fourth year of king Darius, that the word of the LORD came unto Zechariah in
the fourth day of the ninth month
, even in Chisleu
;
When reading the scriptures, please remember that there was no Gregorian calendar or Pope Gregory at that time. God has His own calendar.
9th month of God Chisleu;
12th month of the Gregorian calendar , Pope Gregory, called December ( 1500's )
There are
"no Feasts of the Lord"
in the 9th month of God, Chisleu
;
Christmas, Chanukah and Kwanzaa are made up feasts
In the scripture, John.10 [22] And it was at Jerusalem the feast of the dedication, and it was winter [23] And Jesus walked in the temple in Solomon's porch -There was a Temple at that time - Chanukah means dedication , John was talking about Solomon's temple that Ezra help rebuild. (1 Kings 8:2; 2 Chr. 5:3) Also Ezra, chapter 6 says:
Ezra.6:[14] And the elders of the Jews builded, and they prospered through the prophesying of Haggai the prophet and Zechariah the son of Iddo. And they builded, and finished it, according to the commandment of the God of Israel, and according to the commandment of Cyrus, and Darius, and Artaxerxes king of Persia. [15] And this house was finished on the third day of the month Adar, (our Feb . - cold - not December ), which was in the sixth year of the reign of Darius the king.[16] And the children of Israel, the priests, and the Levites, and the rest of the children of the captivity, kept the dedication of this house of God with joy, [17] And offered at the dedication of this house of God an hundred bullocks, two hundred rams, four hundred lambs; and for a sin offering for all Israel, twelve he goats, according to the number of the tribes of Israel.
Esth.3 [7] In the first month, that is, the month Nisan, in the twelfth year of king Ahasuerus, they cast Pur, that is, the lot, before Haman from day to day, and from month to month, to the twelfth month, that is, the month Adar. ( our Feb not December )
The Temple was destroyed in 70 A.D. - How could you celebrate the dedication of the Temple? It is gone, it served it's purpose!

1Sam.1[1] Now there was a certain man of Ramathaim-zophim, of mount Ephraim, and his name was Elkanah, the son of Jeroham, the son of Elihu, the son of Tohu, the son of Zuph, an Ephrathite:
[2] And he had two wives; the name of the one was Hannah, and the name of the other Peninnah: and Peninnah had children, but Hannah had no children.
[3] And this man went up out of his city yearly to worship and to sacrifice unto the LORD of hosts in Shiloh. And the two sons of Eli, Hophni and Phinehas, the priests of the LORD, were there.
[4] And when the time was that Elkanah offered, he gave to Peninnah his wife, and to all her sons and her daughters, portions:
[5] But unto Hannah he gave a worthy portion; for he loved Hannah: but the LORD had shut up her womb.
[6] And her adversary also provoked her sore, for to make her fret, because the LORD had shut up her womb. 12 tribes

1Cor.1[
26] For ye see your calling,
brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not
many noble, are called:[27]
But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and
God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are
mighty;[28] And base things
of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and
things which are not, to bring to nought things that
are:[29
] That no flesh should glory in his presence.[
30] But of him are ye in Christ Jesus,
who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and
redemption:[31] That, according
as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in
the Lord.
